This study explores the role of transformational leadership within the context of Christian Religious Education, emphasizing its ethical foundation and implications for shaping the future of humanity. In an era marked by moral ambiguity, rapid technological progress, and declining spiritual values, Christian education faces the urgent challenge of cultivating ethical character, spiritual maturity, and social responsibility. The problem addressed in this research is the gap between leadership practices in Christian educational settings and the transformative outcomes expected in students’ moral and spiritual development. The objective of this study is to analyze how transformational leadership can be effectively applied to Christian Religious Education to foster ethical behavior and visionary thinking. Using a qualitative descriptive method supported by literature analysis and interviews with Christian educators and leaders, this research identifies core principles and strategies that align biblical teachings with transformational leadership theory. The findings reveal that transformational leaders who model Christ-centered values, inspire through vision, and mentor with compassion significantly impact learners’ ethical formation and worldview. The synthesis of ideas highlights the integration of faith, leadership, and pedagogy as a holistic approach to addressing the ethical and existential challenges of the 21st century. In conclusion, transformational leadership within Christian Religious Education is essential in guiding learners toward a life of purpose, integrity, and contribution to a humane and spiritually grounded society.

The Kei Islands community adheres to the Larvul Ngabal customary law, which governs various aspects of social and economic life. The philosophy of Ain Ni Ain, emphasizing brotherhood and justice, serves as the foundation for Yelim, a mutual aid system for managing social funds within the community. Additionally, the Kei people have implemented cultural accounting practices in recording and managing communal funds, which align with the principles of transparency and accountability in Islamic banking. However, the acceptance of Islamic banking among the Kei people remains a challenge, particularly within a multireligious community. This study is a sociological legal research (Socio-Legal Research) that employs a descriptive qualitative method with an ethnomethodological approach, involving interviews with customary leaders, religious figures, business actors, and the general public. The findings indicate that the values of Ain Ni Ain and Yelim align with Islamic banking principles, particularly in terms of social justice and financial transparency. Moreover, cultural accounting practices in communal fund management reflect an accountability mechanism similar to Islamic accounting standards. Thus, integrating Kei’s indigenous financial system with Islamic banking offers an innovative approach to enhancing financial inclusion in multireligious societies.

This study examines the sustainability of religious activities at Al-Irsyad Mosque before and after the establishment of the West Sumatra Grand Mosque, as well as the contributing factors from mosque administrators and congregants in maintaining these activities despite the presence of the new mosque. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with a fieldwork approach. Data collection techniques include direct observation, in-depth interviews with mosque administrators and congregants, and documentation of religious activities. Data were analyzed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion/verification, with source, technique, and time triangulation employed to ensure data validity. The results indicate that religious activities at Al-Irsyad Mosque continue consistently in various forms, such as congregational prayers, Qur'anic studies, and other religious-social programs. In fact, new services have been added, such as funeral management, which originated from the initiative of the mosque administrators rather than being influenced by the presence of the Grand Mosque. However, a technical disturbance was identified—namely, the disruption of prayer concentration due to overlapping use of loudspeakers (microphones) from the West Sumatra Grand Mosque when activities occur simultaneously. The sustainability of religious activities at Al-Irsyad Mosque is supported by three main factors: effective and visionary leadership, a strong sense of ownership among congregants, and innovative programs tailored to community needs. The firm commitment of the mosque administrators and the active participation of the congregants are key to ensuring the continued role of Al-Irsyad Mosque as a center for religious life amidst external challenges.

This study examines the impact of government policies on social trauma healing and post-conflict social integration in Ambon, focusing on interfaith community relations and policies implemented following the Malino II Agreement. The objective of this research is to explore the effectiveness of reconciliation policies in reducing sectarian tensions and supporting the recovery of social trauma. The study employs a descriptive-analytical qualitative approach, utilizing a literature review of relevant sources, including books and articles on related policies. The findings indicate that reconciliation policies involving interfaith dialogue and engagement with local leaders have been effective in mitigating sectarian tensions and fostering social trauma recovery. However, while these policies have shown short-term effectiveness, challenges persist in ensuring their sustainability and implementation, particularly regarding social inclusivity. Additionally, the role of local religious leaders and religious institutions is crucial in creating spaces for dialogue and strengthening social cohesion, while religious education and local cultural practices also contribute to social integration. This study suggests that community-based approaches and inclusive policies that engage various societal elements are essential for achieving sustainable social peace.

This article discusses how churches are adapting their missiology in the digital age by combining traditional methods and modern technology to reach younger generations. Through a mixed-method approach and interviews with leaders of the GMIM Victory Minanga Indah church, the study found that technological advances have opened up significant opportunities for spreading the Gospel through social media and digital platforms. However, the main challenge is maintaining the depth and authenticity of the Gospel message amid the rapid and diverse flow of information. The role of women in Christian missions is often overlooked, despite church history and the Bible recording their significant contributions to the spread of the gospel. Mission is a calling for all believers regardless of gender, as stated in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). This study aims to highlight the role of women in missions from a biblical perspective and its application in today's church. Using a qualitative method based on a literature review, this study analyses various biblical female figures involved in missionary work, such as Mary Magdalene, Lydia, Deborah, Esther, and Priscilla. The results of the study show that biblical women have a wide range of roles in various aspects of spiritual and social life, whether as leaders, prophets, teachers, or supporters of ministry. Women like Deborah and Esther show that women's leadership is not alien to God's plan, while figures like Mary Magdalene and Lydia prove that women also had key roles in the spread of the gospel. In the early church, names like Phoebe and Tryfosa show that women have long been active in ministry. However, to this day, there are still challenges for women in church mission, including restrictive theological interpretations, patriarchal culture, as well as social stigma. Therefore, the church needs to reflect on the role of women in mission by considering an inclusive theological foundation and making more room for their involvement. This study confirms that without the contribution of women, church growth and the spread of the gospel will face greater challenges.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of leadership supervision in efforts to improve the performance quality of Civil Servants (PNS) in the Economic Affairs Section at the Regional Secretariat of Langkat Regency. The research findings indicate that the effectiveness of supervision greatly depends on clear objectives, performance indicators, periodic evaluations, and open communication between leaders and staff. Although there are challenges such as ineffective communication and imbalanced workloads, proposed solutions include improving communication and utilizing technology to enhance supervision and employee performance. Optimal supervision has been shown to play a key role in improving PNS performance, with an emphasis on monitoring, evaluation, and skill development. Despite challenges like limited resources and ineffective communication, solutions such as training, open communication, and technology can improve supervision efficiency. Most PNS show a positive attitude towards management and supervision, although there is still room for improvement in communication and skill development. Going forward, it is expected that supervision will become more structured, technology-based, and communicative to support the achievement of organizational goals more efficiently and enhance public service quality.
