This study uses a quantitative approach with primary data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to MSME actors who are registered and domiciled in Tandes District. The sample criteria include fostered MSME actors who have been running their businesses for at least three years and marketing their own products. The number of respondents who were successfully collected in this study was 105 people. Adequate business capital is an important factor in business development and increasing production capacity. Meanwhile, the length of the business reflects the accumulation of experience and practical knowledge that can improve managerial efficiency and effectiveness. Thus, these three variables have a strategic role in increasing the success of MSMEs. This finding provides an implication that MSME empowerment programs should be focused on improving accounting literacy, wider access to capital, and long-term business assistance. Local governments and related institutions can take these results into consideration in designing policies that support the sustainable growth of MSMEs.

Competition law is an important instrument in maintaining healthy and fair market dynamics, especially in the era of globalization marked by increasingly competitive economic growth. This article discusses how business competition takes place at the regional level, with particular attention to the obstacles faced by small entrepreneurs in facing the dominance of established companies. The competition that emerges is not only limited to price issues, but also involves difficulties in accessing capital, distribution networks, technology, and unfavorable regulations. Existing companies generally have strong structural strengths and networks, which create major barriers for new entrants. In addition, there are signs of unfair competitive practices that can threaten the survival of small businesses. However, advances in technology and digitalization are opening up new avenues for small entrepreneurs to enter the market and establish direct relationships with customers. This article aims to identify various forms of business competition at the local level, analyze the opportunities and challenges that exist, and develop strategies that encourage the creation of a healthy and inclusive competitive environment for the sustainability of local economic growth.

Poverty in Indonesia is a complex problem involving various economic, social, and political factors. According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the percentage of the poor population in Indonesia has decreased, but there are still millions of people living below the poverty line, especially in remote areas with higher poverty rates than urban areas. Empowerment of the dhuafa family is a strategic effort to improve the standard of living and welfare of economically disadvantaged community groups. This empowerment program aims to provide access to resources, education, skills training, and business capital. In a social context, the empowerment of the dhuafa family focuses not only on the economic aspect, but also on increasing the social and psychological capacity of individuals. The method used in the empowerment program is carried out in several stages, namely conducting interviews, observations, and documentation. With the efforts of the dhuafa family empowerment program, it is hoped that Indonesia can reduce poverty and improve the overall welfare of the community.
