Anxiety during pregnancy is one of the most common psychological problems experienced by pregnant women, particularly during the third trimester when they face childbirth preparation as well as various physical and emotional changes. If not properly managed, anxiety may adversely affect both maternal and fetal health. This study aimed to describe the level of anxiety among third-trimester pregnant women at Mlati II Public Health Center in 2026. This research employed a descriptive quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. The study involved 40 third-trimester pregnant women selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected using the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) questionnaire and analyzed through univariate analysis in the form of frequency and percentage distributions. The results showed that most respondents were of healthy reproductive age (20–35 years) (92.5%), primigravida (67.5%), had a secondary level of education (70%), and were unemployed (70%). The respondents' anxiety levels were categorized as no anxiety (47.5%), mild anxiety (47.5%), and moderate anxiety (5%), while no cases of severe anxiety or panic were identified. The most dominant anxiety indicators were anxious feelings, tension, respiratory symptoms, and sleep disturbances. These findings indicate that some third-trimester pregnant women still experience anxiety, highlighting the need for early detection, health education, and psychological support through antenatal care services to promote maternal mental well-being during pregnancy.

Background: Cesarean section (CS) is a mode of delivery frequently used in women with high-risk pregnancies. Over the past two decades, the rate of CS has increased significantly worldwide. Although CS can be a life-saving intervention when performed based on appropriate medical indications, it may also result in adverse outcomes for both mothers and infants and increase the clinical and economic burden on healthcare systems. Limiting CS rates can be achieved through the control of modifiable risk factors. Purpose: This study aimed to describe the factors contributing to the occurrence of cesarean section. Method: This study employed a descriptive cross-sectional design and was conducted at Singasana Regional General Hospital, Tabanan Regency, from February to May 2025. The study sample consisted of 259 women who underwent cesarean delivery during the period 2020–2024. Data were collected through a review of medical records using a checklist instrument. Univariate analysis was performed to describe maternal characteristics and indications for cesarean section. Result: Most cesarean deliveries occurred in women aged 20–35 years (77.99%) and in multiparous women (48.65%). The most dominant maternal factor was a previous cesarean section (37.6%), while the most common fetal factor was fetal distress (42.7%). Conclusion: Maternal age of 20–35 years, multiparity, a history of previous cesarean section, and fetal distress were the dominant factors associated with cesarean delivery. These findings highlight the importance of early antenatal risk screening and optimal labor management to reduce unnecessary cesarean sections and improve maternal and neonatal safety.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a daily disease seen in rheumatology clinics. It predominantly involves the appendicular skeleton. The axial skeleton is mostly spared except for the cervical spine where instability can occur and can be carefully assessed with cervical spine radiographs in flexion and extension. Radiographs may show erosion at the C1-C2 level with destruction of the transverse ligament that can result in atlantoaxial subluxation. Diagnosis is based on clinical, laboratory, and radiographic findings. Conventional radiography has been the mainstay for diagnosis of joint damage and subsequent follow-up. Radiography can provide only indirect information on synovial inflammation, however, and the technique is insensitive to early bone damage. Hand radiographs are frequently ordered as the first imaging modality in the assessment of patients presenting with peripheral arthritis. They can provide invaluable information about the bones, joints, mineralization, soft tissues and the distribution of abnormalities. Given the wide spectrum of rheumatic diseases, it might be challenging to make the diagnosis solely based on the clinical findings and imaging plays an important role in narrowing the differential diagnosis. Having the knowledge of the common radiographic manifestations of inflammatory arthritis is of paramount importance for clinicians and radiologists to diagnose the underlying disease in early stages of disease in order to start treatment. The purpose of the article is to review the key radiographic findings of common rheumatic diseases in the hands.

The dissemination of personal data through digital media has increased significantly alongside the growing use of Quick Response (QR) Codes for various purposes, such as electronic tickets, certificates, and digital identities. Conventional QR Codes are open and can be easily scanned, copied, or manipulated by unauthorized parties. The personal data referred to in this study includes sensitive information such as full name, identity number (NIK/National ID), date of birth, address, phone number, and email address. This research proposes a layered security system that combines the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) cryptographic algorithm with steganography using the Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) method. The process begins with encrypting personal data using AES, converting the encrypted result into a QR Code, and embedding the QR Code into a digital image using DCT, hiding it in the image’s frequency domain. The digital images used are of fixed size and formats that preserve visual quality. System evaluation is carried out by testing the visual quality of the stego image, the success rate of QR Code extraction, and the integrity of the encrypted data. The results are expected to conceal sensitive information visually while maintaining its confidentiality, with potential applications in electronic ID cards, digital certificates, e-tickets, and other confidential documents.

Cigarette smoke is a major source of free radicals that can cause various health problems, including disturbances in the male reproductive system. Nicotine and other harmful compounds in cigarettes increase oxidative stress and interfere with spermatogenesis. Gotu Kola (Centella asiatica) is a medicinal plant known for its antioxidant properties that may help neutralize free radicals. This study aimed to determine the effect of Gotu Kola leaf extract on the histopathological features of the testes in male Wistar rats exposed to cigarette smoke. An experimental study using a Post-Test Only Control Group Design was conducted on 24 rats divided into six groups: a normal group, a negative control group exposed to cigarette smoke, a positive control group treated with vitamin E, and three treatment groups receiving Gotu Kola extract at doses of 120, 180, and 240 mg/kg body weight for 28 days. The observed parameters were Leydig cell count and seminiferous tubule diameter. One-way ANOVA analysis showed that Gotu Kola extract significantly increased Leydig cell numbers and seminiferous tubule diameter in all treatment groups compared to the negative control group (p < 0.05). Post hoc analysis demonstrated significant differences in tubule diameter, with the highest improvement observed at the 240 mg/kg body weight dose. These findings indicate that Gotu Kola extract has potential protective effects against testicular damage caused by cigarette smoke exposure.

This study is motivated by the importance of understanding the visual characteristics of drawings produced by children aged 10–11 years within the context of non-formal learning. Children’s drawings not only represent objects but also reflect stages of visual development and learning experiences. This research draws upon theories of children’s artistic development and visual analysis in fine arts. The study employs a descriptive qualitative method with a visual analysis approach. The subjects consist of children aged 10–11 years who participate in private drawing lessons. Data were collected through observation, documentation of students’ artworks, and brief interviews with the instructor. The findings indicate that variations in drawing outcomes are influenced by the duration of learning, practice habits, and the teaching methods applied. Furthermore, the study reveals that children’s ability to produce simple realistic drawings is shaped by their learning experiences and instructional guidance during the learning process, resulting in diverse visual characteristics that remain within a developmental stage.

Postoperative pain following Sectio Caesarea (SC) is a common clinical problem, reported within the first 24 hours in approximately 50-85% of patients. This postoperative pain can affect maternal comfort, early mobilization, and the recovery process. Theoretically, post-SC pain is associated with tissue trauma and nociceptive responses. Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) is an increasingly implemented method because it is considered capable of accelerating postoperative recovery and reducing pain intensity after surgical procedures. This study aimed to describe the distribution of post-Sectio Caesarea pain intensity based on patient characteristics. This research employed a descriptive quantitative design with an observational approach. Data were collected using a total sampling technique from all post-SC patients managed with the ERAS method at RSI Fatimah over a one-month period, with a total of 50 respondents. The research instrument used was the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS). Data were analyzed univariately in the form of frequency and percentage distributions. The results showed that the majority of respondents were in early adulthood (26-35 years), accounting for 40 respondents (80.0%), multiparous women totaled 30 respondents (60.0%), maternal indications were found in 33 respondents (66.0%), and 27 respondents (54.0%) had no previous history of SC. Within the first 2 hours after SC, most mothers experienced mild pain (scale 1-3), totaling 31 respondents (62.0%). At 8 hours after analgesic administration, mild pain remained predominant, with 36 respondents (72.0%). In conclusion, most mothers who underwent Sectio Caesarea using the ERAS method experienced mild pain during the early postoperative period.
