This study aims to provide information and insight into the importance of filtering adult content in the social-emotional development of elementary school children. In today's digital era, technological advances make it easy to access information through various devices such as gadgets. This shows both positive and negative impacts on education, especially if there is no filtering, so children are free to search for information such as adult content that can affect their social emotional development. This study uses a qualitative approach to explain the importance of adult content filtering in the social-emotional development of elementary school children. Data is collected through a literature review that provides a framework or concept to analyze the topic or problem under study. This research includes independent variables and dependent variables. By using a qualitative approach, this research is expected to provide comprehensive facts about the importance of adult content filtering in the social-emotional development of elementary school children. The benefits of this research can provide additional insight for readers regarding the importance of adult content filtering in the social emotional development of elementary school children.

The purpose of this community service is to assist students in introducing various traditional games and preserving traditional games during their teaching practice in schools. Through sports students, it is hoped that various traditional games can be introduced during teaching practice in schools. One example is the dam-dam game, which is expected to reduce children's tendency to play online games and enhance their creativity by utilizing readily available materials. This community service activity is motivated by several issues, namely (1) the lack of students' knowledge about traditional games and (2) the tendency of students to spend more time playing online games, which impacts their social interactions. For example, students often tend to be more focused on their gadgets when being spoken to. This activity is conducted at the University of Insan Budi Utomo Malang in the city of Malang. The process of implementing this community service activity includes (1) problem identification; (2) needs analysis; (3) design and mentoring; (4) implementation of guidance; (5) monitoring and evaluation of activity results; and (6) reporting and follow-up. Lectures, demonstrations, and training are the methods of this community service. Based on the questionnaire given to 30 participants, 20 people stated that the activity was good, and 10 others stated that it was very good.

The importance of children's independence, one of the important factors in children's growth and development is independence. This research aims to determine the importance of developing independence in early childhood through familiarization with the school environment. There were 20 children who researchers observed at the Pembina State Kindergarten school in Gorontalo City who aimed at independence. This research method uses a quantitative descriptive method where the method of collecting is data that is under what is happening in the field, namely in the form of observations. The results of this research show that there are children who do not fully meet several indicators of independence. This can be overcome by creating an environment that supports independence, limiting the use of gadgets, and gradually giving responsibilities according to the child's age so that the child gets used to being independent and confident.

Nowadays technology is developing rapidly, one of which is gadget. Gadget is one of the physical forms of technology that always develops from year to year. Besides having uses and facilitating human life. Excessive use of gadgets has many adverse effects on health and development and growth in early childhood. This can happen because of the impact that can trigger excessive consumptive behavior. In addition, it also causes children to become introverted or more closed due to lack of social interaction. This socialization aims to provide education about gadgets in early childhood in order to realize quality education. Although technology was originally created to produce a positive impact, on the other hand technology also has a negative impact. For example, like gadgets. Gadgets can have a negative impact such as online game addiction which is bad for children's physical and psychological health. The dangers posed by the use of gadgets are a serious concern to be addressed immediately in order to minimize the negative impact of gadget use on early childhood, especially on children in elementary school. This socialization was conducted for 1 day at SDN 020 Tarakan and was attended by 28 students of class 4A at SDN 020 Tarakan. With this socialization, it is hoped that children will be able to understand the negative impact of using gadgets and it is proven by children who are able to answer questions.

The use of gadgets among young children is increasing along with the development of technology. Gadgets have the potential to be a fun and useful learning tool if used appropriately. However, excessive use of gadgets has a negative impact, children who spend too much time with gadgets tend to lose interest in learning, such as reading books or participating in educational games. Additionally, their social interactions with peers and family may also be disrupted, ultimately affecting their social and emotional development. Student service to the community regarding the impact of gadget use on early childhood learning interest and the environment. It is carried out in one stage, namely the stage of providing material which aims to provide an understanding of how to use gadgets wisely so that they can still learn effectively while maintaining a balance with other activities that support their growth and development.

In essence, technology has become an inseparable part of children's lives today. However, inappropriate use of technology can impact their development. The technology that exists today has a big influence on the progress of a nation and for this reason the role of parents and educators must be to be able to encourage and provide control and supervision to children so that they do not become addicted to technology. because technology can expand knowledge through the internet and digital devices, increase creativity to be creative in developing skills and can facilitate learning. However, current technology can also have negative impacts, such as children becoming dependent and spending time in front of screens, social interactions and even children having more fun in front of the screen than playing in the surrounding environment. In today's sophisticated era, being free from gadgets is difficult. Because gadgets are a major need for children and parents, because they can be used to communicate and carry out other needs. The aim of this research is to describe or describe in full the impact of gadget use on the social behavior of young children. The method used in this research is a qualitative method that will allow us to explore and analyze more complex problems, understand the perspectives of various stakeholders, and gain a deeper understanding of the context of the influence of devices on a child. The research hopes that the results obtained can be used as a benchmark for parents and teachers in controlling children's use of technology.

The development of technology makes daily activities easier. However, at the same time it can also have negative impacts, one of which is gadget addiction. Currently, many teenagers have grown up along with the development of gadgets since early age. This makes them accustomed to using gadgets in their daily lives. However, if used excessively, it can cause gadget addiction. From the sample of student assessment results from SMPN 45 Semarang, students were found to be indicated as being addicted to gadgets. Therefore, researchers took the initiative to conduct an intervention in the form of psychoeducation to educate teenagers about gadget addiction. Based on the results of the pretest and posttest analysis, an increase in knowledge related to gadget addiction was found with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. These results indicate that intervention in the form of psychoeducation can successfully increase adolescent knowledge related to gadget addiction

Technology, especially gadgets, has evolved rapidly and become an integral part of our everyday life. The widespread use of gadgets, especially among children, brings significant positive and negative impacts. This research aims to socialize the impact of gadget use on children in the Timbang Lawan Village, Langkat Regency. This socialization program is designed toprovide information to the community about the effects of gadget use, both positive and negative, as well as ways to overcome these negative impacts. both positive and negative, as well as ways to overcome these negative impacts. Methods The research method used was descriptive observational, which involved data collection, classification, analysis, and report generation. Results socialization showed that excessive use of gadgets can result in negative impacts such as addiction, decreased social skills,as well as interference in learning. Conversely, positive impacts include ease of communication, increased creativity, and faster access to information. faster access to information. Through this socialization program, it is hoped that the community, especially parents, can better understand and manage the use of gadgets in children.parents, can better understand and manage the use of gadgets in their children their children. Recommendations include time restrictions on gadget use and stricter supervision to prevent negative impacts and utilize the positive benefits of this technology the positive benefits of this technology.

This study aims to describe the role of parents in preventing gadget addiction in children in order to minimize obstacles in the process of child development. The research was conducted at Rumah Baca Kita Buniseuri, DusunKidul, Buniseuri, Cipaku, Ciamis, for two months from September 1 to November 1, 2024. A descriptive qualitative approach was used in this study with purposive sampling technique, which involved parents who actively use gadgets and play a role in children's learning at home. Data were collected through observation, interviews, data reduction, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman technique with triangulation for data validity. The results show that gadget addiction in children can be overcome by the active role of parents in supervising and limiting the use of gadgets, as well as encouraging children's interest in reading through reading together and utilizing public facilities such as Rumah Baca Kita. This research has important implications in efforts to improve the quality of child development through collaboration between parents and non-formal education facilities.

This research is a quantitative descriptive study with an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out in two ways, quantitative data was analyzed by non-parametric statistics and qualitative data was classified through coding. The population and sample of this study were all 12 teachers. The results showed that (1) all teachers at SDN Kepanjen 01 Kepanjen District, Malang Regency carried out WFH according to the Government Circular Letter, namely the learning planning stage: using it for making lesson plans and discussing with fellow teachers; stages of the learning process: using google forms and WA for student attendance, zoom for delivering material, WA for giving and collecting assignments, youtube and the web for learning media; and the learning evaluation stage: using google forms for PH or PTS and gadgets to correct student evaluation results. (2) The implementation of WFH at SDN Kepanjen 01 encountered various obstacles. (3) Obstacles during WFH are categorized into obstacles in gadgets, internet, material understanding, finance, communication, and level of focus. (4) The solution to the problems experienced is adjusted to the situation and condition of teachers and students' families at SDN Kepanjen 01 so that WFH and BDR can still run optimally. (5) WFH has a positive impact, namely creating a feeling of security because it avoids the spread of covid-19, has more free time, is free to determine work schedules, and automatically reduces transportation costs. While the negative impact is that teachers experience boredom, reduced interaction with colleagues, lowers the quality of performance results, and is addicted to social media. The researcher's suggestions for teachers are that teachers should (1) implement whatever policies have been set by the Principal with full responsibility and enthusiasm; (2) discuss all the obstacles that arise during WFH with the Principal and fellow teachers in order to obtain the most appropriate solution; (3) always teach students to apply health protocols at home; and (4) although WFH has a negative impact, teachers must be able to overcome it in various ways so as not to affect the quality of learning for students.

This study aims to identify the dominant factor of the use of Indonesian rather than their own regional language and the role of parents in the language development of 4-year-old children. The increasing use of gadgets among all ages has had many influences on children, one of the 4-year-old children who has been studied, named Mufidah, tends to use Indonesian rather than Banjarese, this is a factor in the use of gadgets given by her parents. This study uses a qualitative approach, a research method that focuses on in-depth observation to understand a phenomenon or social symptom. The techniques used in data collection are by analyzing various sources, recording, and interviews. The results of the study show that although the use of Indonesian is more dominant than Banjarese, the role of parents must be active in minimizing the use of gadgets for children by limiting time and also supervising the selection of videos watched. With the active role of parents, it will certainly have a positive impact on children in the use of gadgets and vice versa if parents do not supervise their children when they use gadgets, it will have a negative impact on children.

Advances in information and communication technology, including the use of gadgets, have affected various aspects of life, including language development in early childhood. This study aims to analyze the effect of gadget use on children's language development, especially early childhood who experience speech delays. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, using in-depth interviews with parents and children as a data collection technique. The results showed that excessive use of gadgets without supervision can inhibit children's verbal interaction, reduce stimulation from the social environment, and have an impact on speech delay. Other factors, such as lack of direct interaction with parents and excessive sugar consumption, also worsen children's language development. However, with learning strategies based on direct interaction and controlled utilization of devices as learning media, children's language development can be improved. This study emphasizes the importance of parents' role in providing assistance and limiting the use of devices. The results of this study provide insights for parents, educators, and researchers to better understand the impact of technology on children's development and the importance of appropriate stimulation in supporting children's language skills.

This study examines the dynamics of Christian families in navigating modern lifestyles, focusing on the congregation of GKII Efata Bonet Engkabang. Modernity characterized by digitalization, high mobility, economic pressure, and shifting social values has significantly influenced family communication patterns, emotional relationships, and spiritual formation within Christian households. The purpose of this study is to describe the changes experienced by congregational families in the context of modernity and to analyze the role of pastoral counseling as a relevant form of support for family well-being. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method, collecting data through in-depth interviews, limited observations, and a review of church documents. The findings indicate that Christian families face challenges such as declining communication quality, reduced family time, the pervasive influence of gadgets on daily interactions, and weakened spiritual disciplines. Furthermore, shifting parenting patterns and increasing psychological pressure also affect family stability. Within this context, pastoral counseling in GKII Efata Bonet Engkabang plays an essential role in providing spiritual, emotional, and practical guidance through empathetic, relational, and faith-based approaches. Pastoral care has proven effective in helping families realign life priorities, strengthen communication, and cultivate sustainable spiritual practices. The implications of this study highlight the urgency of enhancing structured family support programs in the church, improving pastoral leaders’ capacity as counselors, and encouraging families to develop healthy digital discipline to maintain relational and spiritual quality amid the demands of modern life.

As technology advances, communication is a very important aspect of technology. The level of radio competition at radio stations in big cities is quite high in winning the hearts of the audience, so this study aims to analyze the role of the RRI Medan Public Broadcasting Institution in being able to retrieve information on the interests of listeners in the digital era through the application platform that has been made, namely RRI PLAY GO so that generations X and Z can hear information through their respective Gadgets or Cellphones. This study uses a descriptive analysis model with the data obtained as testing material. In this research, a data collection method is needed to answer all the proposed research problems. The results show that the role of RRI PLAY GO is to retrieve enough information to increase listeners' interest in the digital era.

Background: According to APJII (Association of Indonesian Internet Providers) found that the number of Internet users in Indonesia is 143.26 million people or around 54.68% of the total Indonesian population of 256.2 million people (Risna, 2021). Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between the intensity of device use and sleep quality in adolescents at SMP N 1 Ngawen. Research Methods: This research is a quantitative correlational type with a cross sectional approach. The population of this study were all students of SMP N 1 Ngawen totaling 762 students. The sampling technique used puposive sampling. The instruments used were the Use of Gadgets questionnaire and the PSQI (Pittsburg Sleep Quality Index) Questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Spearman Rank. Results: The characteristics of respondents in this study were the majority of 14 years old (41.0%), female gender (48.0%), male gender (52.0%), the majority of high device usage (87%), and the majority of poor sleep quality (96%). Spearman rank obtained a value of 0.000 (p < 0.0005). Conclusion: There is a relationship between the intensity of gadget use and sleep quality in adolescents at SMP N 1 Ngawen.

This research aims to find out how language development is delayed in children and the factors that hinder language development and support language development in children aged 5-6 years at Abizar Al Hafiz IT Kindergarten. This research uses a qualitative approach research methodology with a case study approach. This approach is carried out holistically, by explaining phenomena through words and language. The location of this research is at the Abizar Al Hafiz IT Kindergarten which is located in Terutung Payung Hilir Village, Bambel District, Southeast Aceh Regency. The time of this research is from July 2024 to August 2024, the data source in this research is the subject, there are 2 students and the object of this research is observing the language development of children who experience delays in children at the Abizar Al Hafiz IT Kindergarten. As well as teachers and parents of children who live in that place. The researcher's data collection process used observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research revealed that young children with delays in language development find it difficult to communicate and mingle with other people, are less responsive when asked to communicate, pronounce words that are unclear or unclear, and have a very limited vocabulary. As well as factors that have the potential to cause delays in language development in children, namely the lack of children who are always given gadgets, the absence of peers to play with, the use of languages ​​other than Indonesian, the child's health history, and the lack of parental presence in the child's life.

Many teenagers now spend most of their time playing gadgets. The teenagers can spend all day playing gadgets. The teenagers can spend all day playing gadgets. Using for a long time causes them to take about 60 minutes longer to fall asleep than usual, resulting in them experiencing insomnia. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the duration of gadget use and the incidence of insomnia in adolescents at Betzata ABD Leilem Junior High School. Sampling in this study with the Slovin formula, as many as 62 respondents. Data collection using questionnaires via google forms. The data analysis in this study was univariate and bivariate analysis (Chi square test) measuring the relationship between each variable with a valeα= 0.05. The results of the study were obtained, there was a relationship between the duration of gadget use and the incidence of insomnia with a value = 0.06 (value < 0.05). The conclusion in this study is that there is a relationship between the duration of gadget use and the incidence of insomnia in adolescents at Betzata ABD Leilem Junior High School.

Introduction: Gadgets are electronic devices that are specialized for certain purposes, which are around us such as cellphones, tablets, computers. Among the many gadgets available, children spend their time playing with cellphones, tablets, or excessive use of gadgets can cause eye health problems such as eye fatigue and social interaction. Objective: To determine the relationship between the level of excessive gadget use and eye fatigue and changes in children's social interactions among students at Cinere 03 State Elementary School. Method: This research is a quantitative study with a cross sectional design on a sample of 97 students with total sampling using the Spearman rank correlation analysis test. Results: The research results showed that the majority of respondents were female, 50 students (51.5%), the majority of respondents were 12 years old, 48 students (49.5%), the level of gadget use in the medium category was 63 students (64.9%) , 49 students (50.5%) experienced eye fatigue in the no category, 73 students (75.3%) experienced social interaction in the sufficient category. The results of the analysis using Spearman rank correlation in the first hypothesis obtained a value of 0.295 (p>0.05), and the second hypothesis obtained a value of 0.939 (p>0.05). Suggestion: For children who are at risk of eye fatigue symptoms, this can be done by using the technique of working in front of a gadget or computer for 20 minutes, then looking at an object about 20 feet or meters away for 20 seconds and looking away from the screen.

The role of Christian religious education teachers is crucial in guiding teenagers to use gadgets wisely and in line with Christian teachings. Uncontrollable use of gadgets can lead to addiction, which in turn can damage the understanding of Christian values and moral behavior of adolescents. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of Christian Religious Education Teachers in Preventing Gadget Addiction in Teenagers. The results of this study show that (1) Christian Religious Education teachers have a very important role in helping adolescents understand and overcome the problem of gadget addiction through moral and spiritual education based on biblical values. (2) Christian Religious Education teachers need to collaborate with parents in preventing and overcoming gadget addiction in adolescents (3) Christian Religious Education teachers, play a role in guiding adolescents in dealing with the use of gadgets wisely, as well as highlighting strategies that can be used to achieve this goal including effective communication. Thus, Christian Religious Education Teachers as a foundation in overcoming and building awareness of adolescents so that adolescents are not affected in the excessive use of gadgets.
