Sleep disturbances are a common problem during pregnancy, often resulting from physiological changes, hormonal fluctuations, and psychological stressors. Poor sleep quality in pregnant women can lead to fatigue, mood disorders, and adverse maternal and fetal outcomes. Mindfulness-based interventions, which emphasize present-moment awareness and non-judgmental acceptance, have been suggested as an effective strategy to improve sleep quality and reduce stress. This study aimed to analyze the effect of mindfulness on sleep quality among pregnant women in the Puskesmas Tosa catchment area. A quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group was employed. A total of 30 pregnant women in their second and third trimesters participated and were divided equally into intervention and control groups. The intervention group received weekly mindfulness sessions for four weeks, including guided breathing, body scan, and focused attention meditation, while the control group received routine antenatal care. Sleep quality was assessed before and after the intervention using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired and independent t-tests, with a significance level set at p<0.05. Results indicated that the intervention group experienced a significant improvement in sleep quality, with mean PSQI scores decreasing from 9.80 ± 2.10 to 5.60 ± 1.90 (p<0.001). In contrast, the control group showed no significant change (pretest 9.53 ± 2.30; posttest 9.27 ± 2.25; p=0.395). These findings demonstrate that mindfulness effectively reduces sleep disturbances among pregnant women by addressing both psychological and physiological contributors to insomnia. In conclusion, integrating mindfulness practices into routine antenatal care is a practical, low-risk, and non-pharmacological approach to enhancing maternal sleep quality, reducing stress, and promoting overall well-being during pregnancy. This study provides evidence to support the inclusion of complementary mind-body interventions in primary health care services.

This study aims to analyze the influence of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on the performance of Generation Z employees, with employee engagement as a mediating variable in the hybrid work era. The phenomenon of changing work patterns due to technological developments and the global pandemic has created a new work model that demands adaptive skills and emotional and spiritual balance within individuals. Generation Z, known for being technologically savvy but prone to digital fatigue, requires internal support in the form of emotional and spiritual intelligence to increase work engagement and optimal performance. This research method used a quantitative approach, collecting data through questionnaires from 120 Generation Z employees in various industrial sectors implementing a hybrid work system. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence have a significant positive effect on employee engagement and performance. Furthermore, employee engagement was shown to mediate the relationship between these two forms of intelligence and performance. These findings emphasize the importance of developing emotional and spiritual dimensions in human resource management to address the dynamics of the modern workplace.

Early mobilization is an important component of postpartum midwifery care to prevent complications, accelerate physical recovery, and improve maternal comfort after delivery. However, not all mothers are able to perform early mobilization optimally due to fatigue, pain, and decreased energy after delivery. Sukari date palm juice (Extractum Phoenix dactylifera) is known to contain simple carbohydrates, minerals, and bioactive compounds that have the potential to increase energy and accelerate maternal recovery. This study aims to analyze the effect of consuming Sukari date palm juice on accelerating early mobilization of postpartum mothers from day 1 to day 3 in the working area of ​​the Sikui Community Health Center (UPT). The study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest–posttest control group approach. The study sample consisted of 30 postpartum mothers divided into an intervention group (n=15) and a control group (n=15). Early mobilization ability was assessed based on the time the mother was able to sit, stand, and walk. The results showed that postpartum mothers in the intervention group experienced a significant acceleration in early mobilization compared to the control group, particularly in walking ability, with a time difference of up to 8–12 hours faster. The results of the Mann–Whitney statistical test showed a significant effect of date palm juice consumption on the acceleration of early mobilization (p < 0.001). Thus, Sukari date palm juice has been proven to be effective in accelerating early mobilization and can be recommended as a supporting nutritional intervention in postpartum midwifery care.

This research aims to analyze the public's perception of career women's efforts in achieving work-life balance, as well as its impact on the dual role experience. The research focus includes the view of society, obstacles experienced by women, and the social implications of the dual role of women. The results of the study based on the questionnaire showed that 74,94% of the people had a positive perception of career women and judged that the balance of work and life can be achieved through time management and family support, while 25,06% had a neutral to negative perception that considered that career women were not optimal in carrying out domestic roles, thus causing social pressure and role conflicts. This perception contributes to stress levels, emotional fatigue, and difficulties in achieving work-life balance. This finding also reveals that education factors, working experience with women, family roles, and social environment affect the formation of perceptions. This research is expected to contribute in increasing public understanding and encouraging policies that support women's careers both in social and work.

Waste from used Polypropylene (PP) and High Impact Polystyrene (HIPS) plastic is problematic in its management. The purpose of this research is to obtain the fatigue life of a mixture of used PP and HIPS plastics in its pure plastic. The research method is through the stages of mixing pure PP and 50% volume of used PP, pure HIPS and 50% volume of used HIPS, injection molding of R.R. Moore standard fatigue test specimens for pure PP, pure HIPS, pure PP + used PP, and pure HIPS + used HIPS, checking the straightness and smoothness of the molded specimen surface, fatigue testing with increasing serial loads, analysis of the bending stress curve (S) against fatigue life (N). The results showed that mixing used PP and used HIPS in pure plastic affected the fatigue life at the test speed (n)=2100 rpm for recycled PP was 9.84% shorter than pure PP, and at n=1600 rpm for recycled PP it was 9.32% shorter than pure PP, while at n=2100 rpm for recycled HIPS it was 4.45% shorter than pure HIPS, and at n=1600 rpm for recycled HIPS is 4.77% shorter than pure HIPS, while the fatigue life of pure PP is 1627704 cycles and the fatigue life of pure HIPS is 1291636 cycles or the fatigue life of pure HIPS is 20.65% shorter than pure PP, the implication of which is that the addition of used PP and used HIPS reduces the fatigue life to 9.84% for PP and 4.45% for HIPS.

Discipline is a fundamental characteristic that supports student learning success. However, at the UPT SMPN 2 Galesong Selatan, high rates of lateness and irregular student behavior are still found, so an in-depth study of the school's role in fostering such discipline is needed. This study aims to understand school dynamics, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and formulate effective strategies for improving disciplined behavior. Using qualitative methods and an interpretive phenomenological approach, data were obtained through interviews, 14 days of observation, and documentation review. Then, they were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model. The research findings indicate that coordination between the principal, vice principal for student affairs, guidance counselor, and student council president has a significant contribution to fostering student discipline. The micro-skills-based counseling program and the “Discipline Challenge” activity initiated by the student council have proven effective in increasing student compliance. The main obstacles that still arise include low parental involvement and increased teacher fatigue during the final lesson period. Based on these results, the study concluded that the implementation of teacher rotation on duty, the use of digital behavioral contracts, and strengthening the role of the Student Council (OSIS) are relevant and sustainable strategies in efforts to improve student discipline.

This research is motivated by the high risk of fatigue experienced by ship crews during voyages, which directly affects occupational safety and mental well-being. Fatigue arises from long working hours, inadequate rest time, heavy workloads, and extreme environmental conditions such as high temperatures, engine noise, and vessel vibrations. On the MT. Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II, the problem becomes more complex due to the tight work rhythm, short berthing periods, and fast, repetitive loading–unloading activities. Harsh weather conditions, short but intensive sailing distances, and limited relaxation facilities make the crew increasingly vulnerable to both physical and mental fatigue. In addition, a work culture that tends to be authoritarian and lacks communication exacerbates psychological pressure, especially when crew members find it difficult to report their fatigue to superiors. This study uses a qualitative method through direct observation and interviews with all crew members in the deck and engine departments. The aim is to analyze the influence of the work environment and work culture on fatigue levels onboard. The results show that environmental factors such as high temperatures, narrow workspaces, and vessel instability significantly affect physical fatigue. Meanwhile, mental fatigue is triggered by ineffective communication, hierarchical pressure, and an unsupportive work culture. These findings align with the perspectives of Mathis and Jackson and comply with the provisions of the STCW 2010 and MLC 2006, which emphasize the importance of regulating working hours and fatigue management. Overall, optimizing rest hours, improving the work environment, and reforming organizational culture are required to reduce fatigue risks.

This study aims to comprehensively analyze the influence of workload and work environment on employee performance at PT Bintang Matrik Indonesia, Bekasi City, both partially and simultaneously. The background of this research lies in the importance of optimal human resource management to enhance company effectiveness and efficiency. An unbalanced workload can lead to physical and mental fatigue, reducing motivation and productivity, while an unsupportive work environment may decrease employee comfort and job satisfaction. This study uses a quantitative research method with the Slovin sampling technique and data collection through questionnaires distributed to company employees. Data analysis was conducted using classical assumption tests and multiple linear regression to examine the relationships between variables. The results indicate that both partially and simultaneously, workload and work environment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Therefore, the company should pay greater attention to workload balance and create a safe, comfortable, and supportive work environment to improve employee performance and loyalty.

Ironing activities in the laundry service industry are performed repeatedly and for long periods, creating a high potential for non-ergonomic work postures. At Laundry Cio’ta, ironing is carried out every day from 08:00 to 21:00 by two workers, which increases the risk of fatigue and musculoskeletal disorders due to continuous and repetitive movements. This study aims to analyze workers’ ironing postures using the REBA method to determine the level of ergonomic risk. Data were collected through direct observation and measurement of body posture angles during the ironing process. The assessment results showed a Score A of 4 and a Score B of 2, producing an initial REBA score of 4. With the addition of an activity score of +1, considering the repetitive nature of the task, the final REBA score increased to 5. This score indicates a moderate level of risk, suggesting that corrective actions are necessary to prevent long-term strain or injury. Based on these findings, ergonomic improvements such as adjusting the ironing table height, modifying the work layout, and encouraging workers to adopt better posture are recommended. Implementing short rest breaks and task variation can also help reduce physical strain and improve worker comfort and productivity.

The rapid development of the digital era has led to a major shift in the modern workplace, with over 1.5 billion people spending more than six hours daily in front of computer screens. This working condition poses significant occupational health risks, including Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) such as Low Back Pain (LBP) and neck strain, with a global prevalence of 60-80%. Furthermore, prolonged screen exposure and high workload contribute to mental health issues like chronic stress and digital fatigue. This community service aimed to increase awareness among PT. XYZ employees regarding the importance of integrated ergonomics to achieve optimal productivity. The method used was an informative sharing session through a presentation and discussion. The material emphasized a three-pronged intervention approach: physical ergonomics (workstation adjustment), technology-based interventions (wearable devices, break reminder apps, and electromagnetic radiation prevention), and mental well-being integration (mindfulness and relaxation techniques). The results showed a significant increase in participant understanding of the health risks and the practical steps to implement integrated ergonomic solutions. It was found that combining technology-based reminders and mindfulness exercises can reduce health complaints by up to 40% better than physical interventions alone. The implication of this service is the recommendation for PT. XYZ to adopt an integrated ergonomic policy that addresses physical, technological, and mental aspects to create a healthier, safer, and more productive work environment for its employees.

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM type 2) is a chronic metabolic disorder marked by elevated blood glucose due to insulin resistance and impaired insulin secretion. Its prevalence continues to rise worldwide, including in Indonesia. Psychological stress is known to worsen glycemic control by activating the sympathetic nervous system and increasing cortisol levels, which can cause fluctuations in blood glucose. This case report aims to describe the effect of combining Benson relaxation techniques with warm foot soaking on blood glucose regulation in a type 2 DM patient. The subject was Mrs. M, a 52-year-old woman diagnosed with type 2 DM. The intervention was conducted for seven consecutive days and consisted of daily Benson relaxation followed by warm foot soaking for 15–20 minutes. Blood glucose levels were measured before and after each session using a glucometer and analyzed descriptively. After seven days, the patient’s blood glucose level decreased from 248 mg/dL to 186 mg/dL. She also reported improved relaxation, better sleep quality, reduced anxiety, and decreased fatigue. These findings suggest that Benson relaxation helps activate the parasympathetic response and reduce stress hormones, while warm foot soaking supports improved circulation and metabolic processes. In conclusion, the combination of Benson relaxation and warm foot soaking is a simple, safe, and effective complementary therapy to support blood glucose regulation in type 2 DM patients. This intervention can be integrated into self-care routines and community nursing practice as part of evidence-based non-pharmacological management.

Iron Deficiency Anemia is a common health problem among adolescents, particularly females, and is associated with decreased concentration, fatigue, and reduced academic performance. This community service program aimed to increase students’ awareness and knowledge regarding early detection of anemia symptoms (5L) and the adoption of iron-rich dietary practices. The intervention was conducted through interactive health education sessions involving lectures, discussions, and questions and answers with 30 students of MAN Batubara. The results indicated an improvement in students’ understanding of anemia symptoms, early behavioral changes in choosing iron-rich foods, and the emergence of local student leaders who supported peer awareness. Management of household waste in Final Disposal Sites (TPA) faces a serious problem, where most of the waste accumulates and is difficult to decompose due to its complex nature. This condition substantially inhibits natural decomposition processes and limits the effectiveness of recycling efforts. Pre-processing operations, such as sorting and crushing, which are still dominated by manual methods, are proven to be inefficient, high-risk, and require large allocations of land resources and manpower. Therefore, automated technological innovation is needed to facilitate the efficient separation of organic components from inorganic materials (packaging). This research was conducted to determine the design and structural strength analysis of a hammer mill type depackaging machine, carried out using Solidworks software. Structural analysis simulation utilizes Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to determine the structural strength of the machine. The specifications of the hammer mill type depackaging machine include a capacity of 3000 kg/hour, a hammer mill input power of 12 KW, and a rotational speed of 2500 rpm with a torque of 34.54 Nm. Meanwhile, the screw conveyor input power is 0.75 KW and the rotational speed is 20 rpm. The FEA simulation analysis results for the hammer mill type depackaging machine showed that the maximum Von Mises stress value recorded is 3,022×10^7   N⁄m^2 , the maximum displacement value measured is very minimal, namely 2,793×10^(-1)  mm, and the Factor of Safety (FOS) obtained is 8.3. This FOS value significantly exceeds the required minimum safety limit (>3), confirming that the machine design has optimal reliability, fatigue resistance, and structural integrity for operation under intensive working conditions at the TPA. The conclusion of this study indicates that the engineering design of this hammer mill type depackaging machine is safe and meets structural technical requirements to proceed to the implementation phase, potentially becoming a sustainable technological solution in improving the efficiency of waste pre-processing.

The use of Search-Based Software Engineering (SBSE) for optimizing software architecture has evolved from fully automated to interactive approaches, integrating human expertise. However, current interactive tools face limitations: they typically support only single decision-makers, confine architects to passive roles, and induce significant cognitive fatigue from repetitive evaluations. These issues disconnect them from modern, team-based software development, where collaboration and consensus are crucial. To address these shortcomings, we propose "ArchEvolve," a novel framework designed to facilitate collaborative, multi-architect decision-making. ArchEvolve employs a cooperative coevolutionary model that concurrently evolves a population of candidate architectures and distinct populations representing each architect's unique preferences. This structure guides the search towards high-quality consensus solutions that accommodate diverse, often conflicting, stakeholder viewpoints. An integrated Artificial Neural Network (ANN) serves as a preference learning module, trained on explicit team feedback to act as a surrogate evaluator. This active learning cycle substantially reduces the number of required human interactions and alleviates user fatigue. Empirical evaluation on two industrial case studies (E-Commerce System and Healthcare Management System) compared ArchEvolve to a state-of-the-art interactive baseline. Results indicate that ArchEvolve achieves statistically significant improvements in both solution quality and consensus-building. The preference learning module demonstrated over 90% accuracy in predicting team ratings and reduced human evaluations by up to 46% without compromising final solution quality. ArchEvolve provides a practical, scalable framework supporting collaborative, consensus-driven architectural design, making interactive optimization a more viable and efficient tool for real-world software engineering teams by intelligently integrating cooperative coevolutionary search with a preference learning surrogate.

Background: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system and often leads to fatigue, mobility impairments, and psychological issues such as anxiety and depression, all of which significantly reduce the quality of life of those affected. Yoga therapy, as a holistic non-pharmacological approach, has gained attention as an alternative rehabilitative intervention for MS patients. Objective: The aim of this review is to literatureally examine the effectiveness of yoga therapy on the physical and psychological aspects of individuals with MS, with a particular focus on the duration, frequency, and forms of yoga practice used. Methods: The method employed in this study was a literature literature search across databases including Google Scholar, PubMed, ScienceDirect, and ResearchGate, using clearly defined inclusion and exclusion criteria. A total of 15 articles with experimental and quasi-experimental research designs published within the past 10 years were analyzed in this review. Result: The results indicate that yoga is effective in reducing fatigue levels, improving balance and muscle strength, and enhancing daily physical functioning. Psychologically, yoga has been shown to significantly reduce anxiety, stress, and depression, while also improving self-efficacy, focus, and emotional quality of life. Conclusion: In conclusion, yoga is a safe and effective intervention that can serve as a complementary rehabilitative strategy in the management of MS, both physically and psychologically, although further research with stronger methodologies is needed to support its implementation in clinical practice.

The Top Schedule plays a vital role in the audit process by summarizing the accounts being examined. Despite its importance, the preparation of this document is often hindered by human errors and psychological pressures faced by auditors, such as tight deadlines and fatigue. These challenges can result in inaccurate analysis and delays in audit completion. This study explores the implementation of standardized templates as a strategic approach to enhance the accuracy and consistency of Top Schedule preparation. A consistent format allows auditors to perform their tasks more methodically, thereby minimizing errors in documentation. Furthermore, the research examines how psychological factors influence auditors' attention to detail and how the use of templates can help alleviate these effects. Utilizing a literature review method, this study evaluates the effectiveness of standardized templates. The findings suggest that adopting such templates can significantly reduce human error, improve the efficiency of audit documentation, and streamline the overall audit process.

The demand for lightweight materials with high mechanical strength has driven the development of aluminum alloys, particularly Al-Mg-Si, through deformation processes such as cold rolling. This study aims to analyze the effect of varying degrees of cold rolling deformation on the grain aspect ratio and macrohardness of homogenized Al-Mg-Si alloys. Deformation was applied at three thickness reduction levels—5%, 10%, and 20%—followed by microstructural characterization using optical microscopy and macrohardness testing in accordance with ASTM E-18 standards. The results show that increasing deformation levels lead to elongated grain morphology, with the grain aspect ratio rising from 1.16 to 2.07 and macrohardness increasing from 46.64 HRE to 62 HRE. The emergence of slip lines and grain flattening indicates the occurrence of intense plastic deformation, while work hardening results from dislocation accumulation that impedes further slip motion. These findings confirm a strong correlation between microstructural evolution and mechanical property enhancement in cold-deformed Al-Mg-Si alloys. This research contributes to the optimization of cold rolling parameters to produce engineering materials with a desirable balance of strength, formability, and fatigue resistance for applications in the mining and heavy manufacturing industries.

Many used ABS plastic wastes have problems in their management. The aim of this research is to obtain a prediction of the fatigue life of a mixture of ABS plastic and used ABS as an injection molding product. The research method is carried out through the stages of mixing used ABS with a volume of 10%, 20%, and 30% in ABS grade A and grade B; making fatigue test specimen molds according to R. R. Moore standards, injection molding of a mixture of used ABS and ABS grade A and grade B, checking the straightness and smoothness of the specimen surface, fatigue testing with increasing serial loads, analysis and making a graph of bending stress (S) against fatigue life (N) (S-N Curve). The results of the study showed that the addition of used ABS had an effect on the fatigue life of both grade A and grade B of ABS, where the fatigue life of grade A of ABS increased with the addition of the volume percentage from 0% -30% of used ABS with the highest value at the addition of 30%, namely 43698.9 cycles, while in grade B of ABS, the fatigue life decreased with the increase in volume from 0% -30% with the highest fatigue life in grade B of ABS plastic without a mixture or 0%, namely 41377.5 cycles, the implication of which is that the addition of 0% -30% of used ABS in grade A can increase the fatigue life, but grade B of ABS actually decreases its fatigue life.

Pregnancy is a physiological process that involves various physical and psychological changes in women. This psychological challenge may lead to eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and bulimia nervosa. The presence of eating disorders during pregnancy can have detrimental effects on maternal health, including nutritional deficiencies, fatigue, and an increased risk of complications during pregnancy, such as preterm birth and gestational diabetes. Additionally, these disorders can negatively impact the fetus, resulting in inadequate nutrient intake, low birth weight, and developmental delays. Therefore, maintaining a healthy, balanced diet, alongside psychological support, is crucial for pregnant women. Health education, along with professional counseling and guidance from healthcare providers, plays a vital role in preventing and managing eating disorders during pregnancy. Such efforts ultimately contribute to optimal health outcomes for both the mother and the developing fetus, ensuring the well-being of both in the long term.
