Sukabanjar Village is one of the villages striving to improve basic infrastructure quality, particularly in drainage construction and road repair. However, limited understanding among village officials and communities regarding standardized construction cost estimation methods, specifically the Unit Price Work Analysis (AHSP), has become an obstacle in preparing accurate and efficient Budget Plans (RAB). This community service program (PKM) aims to improve the understanding of village officials, village hall staff, and Sukabanjar Village community regarding AHSP-based construction cost estimation planning as the standard reference for construction work cost calculation in Indonesia. The program involved socialization and training for 20 participants, consisting of village officials (RW/RT), village hall staff, and general public, introducing the basic concepts of AHSP, RAB component elements, and simple simulations of drainage and road work cost calculations. Evaluation was conducted through pre- and post-tests. The results of the activity showed a very significant improvement in participants' understanding. The average pre-test score was 42, which then increased to 75 in the post-test, reflecting an increase of 33 points (78.6%). In conclusion, the AHSP-based cost estimation planning socialization was effective in improving the village community's understanding of construction infrastructure budget management, although continued mentoring is still needed for optimal and sustainable implementation.

Traditional wedding rituals constitute intangible cultural heritage rich in symbolic meaning, serving to strengthen social solidarity and transmit cultural values. The massive penetration of modernization and digitalization has created new pressures for the Bugis-Makassar community in maintaining this heritage. This study analyzes the transformation of Bugis-Makassar traditional wedding rituals in South Sulawesi within the digital era context, focusing on how the community negotiates their cultural identity between the forces of tradition and modernity. Using a critical ethnographic approach with a multiple case study design grounded in Bhabha's concept of the third space, the study involved 42 informants from three groups: young couples (digital generation, aged 22–35), parents/family (middle generation, 40–60), and customary elders (to panrita lopi/bissu, 65+) in Makassar City, Bone Regency, and Wajo Regency. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation in 12 wedding ceremonies, and social media content analysis. Results reveal three main transformation patterns: (1) digital spectacularization—rituals adapted for social media consumption; (2) reflective selectivity—young couples actively choosing which traditional elements to retain; and (3) procedural hybridization—the integration of customary procedures with contemporary elements. These transformations are colored by intergenerational contestation that generally ends in compromise between demands for customary completeness and the aesthetic preferences of the younger generation. The study concludes that this transformation is not merely a loss of tradition, but a creative form of identity negotiation in which the Bugis-Makassar community actively reconstructs the meaning of siri' (self-esteem/dignity) and pesse (solidarity) within the changed socio-cultural landscape. The findings imply the need for cultural preservation policies that understand change as inherent to living culture, and open avenues for longitudinal studies on the intergenerational transmission of cultural values.

This study aims to collect Serawai ethnic folktales, analyze their narrative structures, and identify the cultural values embedded within them. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method using structural and cultural value approaches. Data were obtained through interviews with informants, resulting in the collection of six Serawai folktales, namely Si Pahit Lidah (Serunting Sakti), Dusun Tinggi (Sebakas), Danau Kuranding, Batu Balai, Misteri Bukit Candi, and Sepit Kancing. The analysis focuses on structural elements, including theme, plot, characters and characterization, and setting, followed by an examination of cultural values using Clyde Kluckhohn’s cultural value orientation theory. The findings show that the six folktales are constructed through the integration of narrative elements that form a unified meaning and convey moral and cultural messages to the community. The dominant character, Serunting Sakti, represents wisdom, moral responsibility, and leadership. Furthermore, the analysis reveals that Serawai folktales contain five cultural value orientations proposed by Kluckhohn: the nature of human life, human work, human relations with time, human relations with nature, and human relations with others. These values are reflected in attitudes of wisdom, honesty, responsibility, hard work, appreciation of experience, environmental awareness, mutual cooperation, deliberation, and respect for customary traditions. Among these orientations, the most dominant is human relations with others. Overall, Serawai folktales function as oral literary heritage and as a medium for transmitting cultural values, preserving local wisdom, and strengthening Serawai cultural identity.

This research deconstructs the manipulative architecture in the propaganda trilogy of the Japanese Army in 1942, namely Nippon Tjahaja Asia, Nippon Pelindoeng Asia, and Nippon Leader Asia, which have often been reduced to mere political euphemisms. With a descriptive-qualitative design, this study integrates Malcolm Coulthard and Alison Johnson's parameter-based Forensic Linguistics as the grand theory, as well as the three-dimensional model of Norman Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis (AWK) as an operational analysis instrument. The results of the analysis show that lexical manipulation through the messianic triptych "Light, Protector, Leader" and the use of assertive clauses without copula are engineered to produce false consciousness. Forensic Linguistic Parameters confirm the existence of a planned mens rea (malicious intent) from Sendenbu, with an extreme disparity between commissive speech in the form of a promise of protection and military actus reus in the form of romusha slavery and logistical seizure. This condition fulfills the elements of mass deception. Furthermore, the doctrinal repetition of the slogan is a form of linguistic coercion that exploits power asymmetry to castrate the people's critical reasoning. In conclusion, the invasion of Japanese fascism in Indonesia did not only take place through military equations, but also through a cognitive dictatorship based on language fabrication. This study is relevant as a historical mirror for detecting the anatomy of structural lies in the contemporary post-truth era.

The feature video titled “Earning Wages Behind Waste” portrays the lives of a waste picker community in Kampung Pemulung, Jurangmangu Barat, South Tangerang, as a concrete representation of the social dynamics of urban society. This study aims to represent the social reality of waste pickers as part of urban community dynamics through an informative and systematic expository directing approach. The creative process was carried out through three main stages pre-production, production, and post-production which were integrated to produce a coherent, structured, and easily understandable narrative flow for the audience. The expository approach is applied through the use of narration as the primary guiding element to explain the visual context, supported by a logical presentation structure, interviews with informants, and relevant factual data. In the directing process, the author actively organizes the flow of information and integrates visual elements, narration, and interviews to produce a work that is informative, contextual, and educational. Furthermore, cinematographic aspects such as shot variation and camera movement are utilized to support the gradual delivery of information, reinforce visual messages, and maintain objectivity in presentation. The results indicate that the expository approach is effective in presenting the factual reality of waste pickers’ lives and in enhancing audience understanding of their socio-economic conditions in a more comprehensive manner.

A building feasibility evaluation study is an important step to ensure the safety, comfort, and sustainability of building functions, especially in public service facilities. This activity was carried out at the PLN ULP Praya office building, Central Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, which has been operating since 1985. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of building feasibility based on structural, architectural, utility, safety, and health aspects of the building. The methods used included visual inspection, field measurements, hammer tests, and analysis of the condition of building elements based on building feasibility inspection standards. The inspection results showed that the building suffered severe damage characterized by foundation subsidence, large cracks in the walls, reinforcement corrosion, concrete peeling, and damage to the roof frame. The structural strength value obtained was below the construction feasibility standard so that the building was declared structurally unfit for function. Although several supporting aspects such as lighting, drainage, and sanitation systems still functioned quite well, the damaged condition of the main structure has the potential to endanger the safety of users. Therefore, rebuilding the building structure is recommended as the safest solution to ensure the safety, stability, and sustainability of the building's function in the future.

This study systematically analyzes the effectiveness of school-based resilience programs designed for Palestinian children in the West Bank through a systematic review of 47 programs implemented over the period 2010–2023. The meta-analysis encompasses 12,847 participants aged 6–18 years from 89 schools and demonstrates a significant increase in resilience scores with a large effect size (d = 0.76, p < .001), accompanied by a substantial reduction in psychological trauma symptoms (r = -0.64, p < .001) and marked improvements in academic functioning (β = 0.58, p < .01). Programs integrating mindfulness approaches and psychosocial support exhibited the strongest effects (η² = 0.42), followed by expressive arts interventions (η² = 0.38) and play therapy (η² = 0.35), collectively underscoring the critical importance of non-conventional approaches in contexts of protracted conflict. Multilevel regression analysis revealed that a minimum program duration of 12 weeks and the level of family engagement contributed significantly to enhanced intervention effectiveness (R² = 0.67, p < .001). These findings extend the results of Qouta (2020) and Jabr et al. (2013) on child resilience in conflict zones, while offering an original contribution through the identification of specific program components most responsive to the Palestinian context. In particular, the integration of local cultural elements and the strengthening of collective identity were shown to increase program effectiveness by up to 43% compared with universal approaches, a pattern that has not been systematically documented in the previous literature.
