Terrorism is a serious threat to the security and unity of the Indonesian nation. Events such as the suicide bombing at the Medan Police Headquarters in 2019 show that acts of terror are increasingly complex and require swift and appropriate handling. For this reason, the government passed Law Number 5 of 2018 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Terrorism as a legal basis that strengthens the authority of the apparatus, including the Gegana Detachment of the Indonesian National Police Mobile Brigade Corps (Brimob), in carrying out counter-terrorism operations. This study aims to determine and analyze how the implementation of Law No. 5 of 2018 is carried out by the Gegana Detachment in the North Sumatra Regional Police area, identify obstacles faced in operations, and formulate strategies to increase the effectiveness of the implementation of the law. The results of the study show that the implementation of this law has been implemented through preventive, preemptive, and repressive approaches, such as sterilization of places of worship, social activities "Love Sunday", security patrols, and anti-terror training simulations. However, implementation in the field still faces various obstacles, including limited modern equipment, lack of cross-agency coordination, and low public participation. Therefore, personnel capacity building, infrastructure modernization, and strengthening inter-agency synergy are needed to achieve more effective counterterrorism efforts in North Sumatra.

This study reinterprets Kakawin Panca Dharma through Carl Gustav Jung’s analytical psychology, viewing kalepasan (liberation) as a symbolic manifestation of the poet’s (kawi’s) inner transformation through the process of individuation. While previous studies have treated Kakawin Panca Dharma as a theological or ethical text, this paper argues that the discourse of kalepasan reflects archetypal structures of the psyche—shadow, anima, and Self—within the creative process of the kawi-wiku. Through a qualitative hermeneutic method integrating philological reading and Jungian symbolic interpretation, this research uncovers how motifs of silence (sunya), detachment (putus), and purification (wimala) embody stages of psychological transformation. The findings reveal that Kakawin Panca Dharma serves as a “temple of language,” where poetic creation functions as an act of active imagination, integrating conscious and unconscious dimensions of the self. Liberation thus signifies not only spiritual transcendence but psychological wholeness—the realization of the Self archetype.

Quiet quitting refers to a phenomenon in which employees do not formally resign from their jobs but intentionally limit their work efforts to the minimum required. This study aims to adapt the Quiet Quitting Scale developed by Galanis et al. (2023) into the Indonesian context. A quantitative approach was employed involving 100 respondents drawn from both private and government sectors. The adaptation process included forward translation by three linguists, synthesis of the translated versions, and cultural adjustment to ensure contextual relevance. Data were analyzed using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) based on a three-factor model consisting of detachment, lack of initiative, and lack of motivation. The results indicate that the Indonesian version of the Quiet Quitting Scale demonstrates acceptable construct validity across the proposed factors. However, several items still require refinement, suggesting that further development and validation with larger and more diverse samples are necessary to strengthen the scale’s psychometric properties.

Umbilical cord infection is one of the leading causes of neonatal mortality in Indonesia. Appropriate umbilical cord care is essential to accelerate separation and prevent infection. In the working area of UPT Puskesmas Alai, variations in cord care practices and delayed separation cases were still found. This study aimed to analyze the effect of umbilical cord care using sterile gauze method on cord separation duration at UPT Puskesmas Alai. The study employed quasi-experimental design with one-group pre-test post-test approach on 32 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Pretest data were obtained from medical records, while posttest data through direct observation. Analysis used Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test (α=0.05). Results showed mean cord separation time in pretest group was 9.2 days (SD=1.08) and posttest group 6.0 days (SD=0.84). Wilcoxon test showed Z=-4.94 with p-value=0.000, indicating significant difference. Umbilical cord care using sterile gauze method effectively accelerates separation time compared to conventional methods. Healthcare workers are recommended to implement this method as standard care.

Stevens–Johnson syndrome (SJS) and toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) are rare, life-threatening mucocutaneous reactions characterized by extensive epidermal necrolysis and mucosal involvement. The entities represent a clinical continuum distinguished by the extent of epidermal detachment (SJS <10% body surface area [BSA], SJS/TEN overlap 10–30%, TEN >30%). Most cases are drug-induced, making early culprit-drug withdrawal and structured supportive care the cornerstones of management. Immunopathogenesis is primarily mediated by drug-specific cytotoxic T cells and NK cells through granulysin, Fas–Fas ligand, and perforin/granzyme pathways, with emerging roles of necroptosis and candidate biomarkers such as RIP3 and galectin-7. Diagnosis relies on timely recognition of the characteristic painful erythematous/targetoid lesions, Nikolsky/Asboe–Hansen signs, multi-site mucositis, accurate BSA assessment, and early severity scoring (e.g., SCORTEN) to guide referral and monitoring. Systemic immunomodulators (corticosteroids, cyclosporine, IVIg, anti-TNF agents) have variable evidence; thus, individualized selection and early multidisciplinary care particularly ophthalmologic involvement are essential to reduce acute mortality and long-term sequelae.

The concept of hubuddunya (love of the world) within the Akidah Akhlak subject holds a strategic role in shaping the moral and spiritual character of students, particularly in the midst of globalization, materialism, and consumerist culture that increasingly influence young generations. This study seeks to critically analyze the teaching materials of Akidah Akhlak for Grade X at MA YASPI Cicantayan, focusing on the hubuddunya topic. The main objective is to evaluate the relevance, depth, and effectiveness of these materials in fostering students’ awareness of moral values, as well as their ability to apply Islamic principles in daily life. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, collecting data through documentation of learning resources, observation of lesson plans (RPP), and in-depth interviews with teachers. The data analysis process was conducted through reduction, classification, and interpretation of findings to obtain a comprehensive picture of the existing instructional practices. The results reveal that the current teaching materials tend to remain highly theoretical and emphasize the transfer of knowledge rather than transformative learning. Consequently, they do not adequately address contextual issues faced by students in their real-life environment. The affective and psychomotor aspects of students’ moral development are not optimally stimulated, leaving a gap between conceptual understanding and practical application. Furthermore, essential Islamic values such as zuhud (detachment from excessive worldliness), qanaah (contentment), and tawakal (trust in God) have not been integrated effectively as counterbalances to materialistic tendencies. The implications of this study underline the urgency of developing Akidah Akhlak teaching materials that are more contextual, student-centered, and relevant to contemporary challenges. Such materials should not only transmit religious knowledge but also foster reflective thinking, emotional maturity, and behavioral consistency, thereby preparing students to face globalization with strong faith, resilience, and anti-materialistic attitudes.

Umbilical cord care is an important part of newborn care because the umbilical cord that has not fallen off has the potential to become an entry point for germs if not cared for hygienically. In the community, traditional umbilical cord care practices are still widely practiced and often do not comply with medical standards. This study aims to determine the effect of umbilical cord care education on cleanliness and duration of umbilical cord detachment in newborns in the Bongo 2 Community Health Center, Boalemo Regency. This study used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The study sample consisted of 24 newborns selected using a total sampling technique. The intervention in the form of umbilical cord care education was given to the parents of the babies, then measurements were taken of umbilical cord cleanliness and duration of umbilical cord detachment before and after education. Data analysis was performed using a paired t-test or Wilcoxon signed-rank test with a significance level of p < 0.05. The results showed an increase in umbilical cord cleanliness after education, with a p value = 0.001. In addition, the average duration of umbilical cord detachment decreased significantly after education, with a p value = 0.000. This study concludes that umbilical cord care education has a significant effect on improving hygiene and optimizing the duration of umbilical cord removal in newborns.

This article offers a philosophical exploration of two classical concepts of self-control: zuhud in Islamic intellectual tradition and apatheia in Stoic philosophy, within the framework of modern character education. Using a qualitative library research approach, this study employs content analysis and philosophical hermeneutics to examine the works of key thinkers such as Al-Ghazali, Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyyah, Marcus Aurelius, and Epictetus. The findings indicate that zuhud emphasizes detachment from material desires through spiritual awareness and prioritization of divine values, while apatheia focuses on achieving inner peace and moral clarity by rationally managing emotions and eliminating unnecessary passions. Although rooted in different theological worldviews, both concepts converge in promoting a form of self-control that enhances inner freedom, ethical behavior, and self-discipline. This study argues that the integration of zuhud and apatheia can enrich contemporary character education by balancing rational moral reasoning with spiritual consciousness. The educational model proposed in this research emphasizes the importance of teaching students to reflect critically, regulate their emotions, and cultivate inner balance rooted in universal ethical values. Thus, the synthesis of both traditions contributes to the advancement of character education that is holistic, contemplative, and morally grounded.

In contemporary media, characters who self-diagnose with psychological disorders often reflect deeper emotional and psychological complexities rather than clinically accurate conditions. One compelling example is found in the British dark comedy-drama series The End of The F**ing World*, where James claims to be a psychopath. However, this self-diagnosis raises critical psychological questions: Is James truly incapable of empathy, or is his label a defense mechanism masking unresolved trauma from his childhood? By applying Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalytic theory—particularly the structural model of personality (id, ego, superego)—alongside Anna Freud’s theory of defense mechanisms, this study investigates the role of self-diagnosis not as an objective or medically valid truth, but as a psychological shield to avoid emotional vulnerability and confrontation with repressed pain. James' behaviors are analyzed through selected scenes and dialogues in the series, with additional triangulation from the original graphic novel to support the interpretation. The analysis reveals that James’ declaration of being a psychopath aligns more with mechanisms such as repression, projection, and emotional numbing, rather than the clinical criteria of psychopathy. His emotional detachment is revealed to be a constructed barrier stemming from maternal loss, neglect, and fear of connection. The study concludes that self-diagnosis in this context acts as a subconscious strategy to cope with unresolved trauma and to maintain psychological equilibrium amid inner conflict. This case exemplifies how fictional representations can mirror real-life struggles with identity, mental health, and the desire to label complex emotions through simplified diagnostic terms, especially in youth who lack proper support systems.

Posterior Capsule Opacification (PCO), also known as secondary cataract, is the most common complication following cataract surgery, particularly extracapsular cataract extraction (ECCE). PCO results from the proliferation, migration, and differentiation of residual lens epithelial cells within the posterior capsule, leading to the formation of structures such as Elsching pearls and Soemmering rings. The incidence of PCO is notably high among pediatric patients due to the increased mitotic activity of lens epithelial cells. Major risk factors include younger age, certain ocular conditions such as glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration, as well as the design and material of the implanted intraocular lens (IOL). Diagnosis is established through slit-lamp and ophthalmoscopic examinations, with decreased visual acuity being the primary clinical symptom. The current mainstay of treatment is Nd:YAG laser capsulotomy, which is effective and minimally invasive but may be associated with complications such as cystoid macular edema and retinal detachment. Preventive strategies focus on improved surgical techniques and appropriate IOL selection. With proper intervention, the incidence of PCO can be reduced, thereby improving postoperative visual outcomes.

This study aims to analyze the figurative language used in the song lyrics of “Cause You Have To” by the American band LANY. Using a qualitative descriptive method, this research identifies and interprets various types of figurative language found in the lyrics, focusing on metaphor, simile, hyperbole, personification, symbolism, irony, allusion, and synecdoche. The findings reveal that these figurative devices play a significant role in conveying the emotional depth, psychological tension, and relational conflict expressed in the song. Metaphors and hyperboles dominate the lyrics, enhancing the emotional impact by illustrating themes of unreciprocated love, emotional detachment, and inner turmoil. For example, metaphors like “the silence is getting too cold” and hyperbolic expressions such as “I’d drive through the night” contribute to the song’s emotional intensity. The study concludes that figurative language is essential in shaping the narrative and emotional resonance of the song, allowing listeners to engage with the lyrics on a more personal and interpretive level. This research highlights the importance of figurative language in music and its role in deepening the listener’s emotional experience.

Improper care of the umbilical cord can lead to premature detachment and increase the risk of umbilical cord infection (neonatal tetanus). As long as the umbilical cord has not detached naturally, it needs to be properly cared for. Failure to do so can result in infection characterized by moisture, pus, and a foul odor around the umbilical cord. This review aims to determine the influence of mothers' knowledge on the care of the umbilical cord in newborns. This review aims to investigate the impact of mothers' knowledge on the care of the umbilical cord in newborns. This study utilizes a literature review method, utilizing journal articles obtained from Google Scholar, SINTA, and Garuda databases, published between 2019 and 2023, with full text available in the Indonesian language. Based on the reviewed journals, it was found that 7 journals discovered the influence of maternal knowledge on umbilical cord care in newborns, while 4 journals stated that there are still mothers who perform umbilical cord care incorrectly according to the procedure. Based on the literature review of 10 research journals, respondents' characteristics among postpartum mothers can be classified based on age, educational level, and occupation. All these factors significantly impact a mother's knowledge regarding the care of the umbilical cord in newborns, highlighting the importance of health education in enhancing maternal knowledge.

Newborns also called neonates are individuals who are growing and have just experienced birth trauma and must be able to make adjustments from intra uterine life to extra uterine life. A normal newborn is a baby born at 37-42 weeks gestation and weighs 2,500-4,000 grams. Care taken of newborns is care of hair, eyes, nose, mouth, ears and one of them is umbilical cord care. Umbilical cord care is needed to prevent the umbilical cord from becoming a breeding medium for pathogenic microorganisms: Incorrect care techniques can lead to tetanus neonatorum infection which can affect the length of cord detachment. This type of research is descriptive by applying a case study approach. The implementation of this study was carried out at the Pratama Medical Center Clinic on Mrs. W's baby by providing umbilical cord care to her baby.

The mortality causes of babies in Demak regency, in 2020, were low weight birth (43.87%), Asphyxia (16.9%), Tetanus Neonatorum (1%), and Sepsis (5.3%), and inherited abnormality (30.6%). The umbilical cord is a unique tissue and could be the infection source for newly born babies. Umbilical care becomes a behavioral realization that must be improved with excellent knowledge of taking care of the cord. This excellent behavior to take care of the cord could improve the behavior of taking care of the umbilical cord. Thus, the cord will be easily detached. Lack of adequate knowledge about umbilical cord will lead to incorrect administration of using traditional medicine which highly leads to neonates infection. This research determined the correlation between the mother's knowledge about the opened umbilical cord care and the detachment period of the umbilical cord. This analytic correlation research used a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of all mothers, 64 mothers, with an estimated period of birth from June to July 2022 in the working area of Sayung 1 Health Care, Demak Regency.  The researchers analyzed the data with univariate and bivariate analyses. The results showed the correlation between the mother's knowledge and the opened umbilical cord during the detachment period. The obtained p-value was 0.000, lower than 0.05.   Keywords: Mother knowledge, Opened umbilical cord care, Umbilical cord detachment
