This study aims to analyze the marketing strategy implemented by Catering Lapak Ning Icha to increase consumer purchase intention. The background of this research is the intense competition in the culinary MSME sector, particularly catering services, which demands effective and sustainable marketing strategies. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving the business owner (represented by the operator), employees, and consumers. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the marketing strategy based on the 7P marketing mix (Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People, Process, and Physical Evidence) plays a significant role in increasing consumer purchase intention. In terms of product, the catering maintains taste quality, cleanliness, and menu variety. Pricing is set affordably and competitively. Easy location access and accurate ordering and distribution processes support the place and process aspects. Promotion is carried out organically through social media and word of mouth. Additionally, friendly and professional employee service, as well as physical evidence such as a clean business environment and neat packaging, contribute to positive consumer perceptions. The implications of this study suggest that consistent and integrated marketing strategies aligned with consumer needs can effectively enhance purchase intention and customer loyalty. This research serves as a reference for culinary MSME actors in designing effective and sustainable marketing strategies.

This study examines the implementation of Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) at NailedShape, a Bali-based nail art micro-enterprise, as a strategy to foster customer loyalty. NailedShape operates under a home-service and home studio model, primarily using Instagram for promotion and customer engagement. The study utilizes a descriptive qualitative method, collecting data through interviews and observations with the owner, customers, and micro-influencers. The research findings show that NailedShape successfully employs IMC techniques, such as visual content, customer testimonials, and collaborations with digital influencers, to capture attention and create strong emotional connections with customers. This integrated approach helps in building a positive brand image and maintaining customer engagement. However, the study also highlights challenges, such as limited resources and frequent changes to social media algorithms, which hinder consistent communication and marketing efforts. Despite these obstacles, the study concludes that a well-executed IMC strategy remains effective in enhancing customer loyalty, reinforcing the importance of an integrated communication approach for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the beauty industry. By utilizing digital platforms effectively, NailedShape can compete in a highly dynamic market. The findings suggest that beauty-based MSMEs can benefit greatly from IMC in the digital era, as it not only enhances brand perception but also helps in building lasting customer relationships.

This qualitative inquiry examines the deliberate operational timing adopted by street vendors selling martabak, a popular Indonesian snack, exploring why nocturnal hours are strategically favored over daytime. The research methodology combined in-depth interviews with ten vendors operating in urban centers like Jakarta and Bandung with a consumer survey of one hundred respondents. Analysis of the collected data identifies a dual strategic foundation. From a demand perspective, night-time aligns with consumer psychology, fostering a leisurely atmosphere conducive to social snacking and impulsive purchases. On the supply side, vendors benefit from diminished direct competition, reduced operational overheads, and tapping into peak demand for evening treats. This synergy effectively cements martabak’s market identity as a beloved night-time culinary ritual linked to socialization. Consequently, the study posits that this chrono-marketing approach represents a savvy adaptation to local socio-economic rhythms. The insights derived provide a framework for micro-entrepreneurs to optimize service timing, aligning business operations with ingrained cultural consumption cycles to enhance sustainability and customer loyalty.

This study aims to analyze the operational and marketing strategies of UMKM Bolu Kambu Daeng Rosi in enhancing the competitiveness of traditional food products in Barru Regency, South Sulawesi. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method, through guided observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The findings show that the enterprise's strengths lie in its culturallybased product differentiation and strong customer loyalty. However, the business still faces challenges in managerial aspects, digital promotion, and operational recording. SWOT analysis highlights the importance of strengthening production systems and applying simple marketing strategies to expand market reach. In addition, a daily profit and loss estimation shows a relatively high profit margin, though not yet supported by a documented financial system. The main recommendation is the need for gradual managerial transformation through simple financial record-keeping, basic visual promotion, and technology adaptation aligned with the owner's capacity. This research is expected to contribute to the development of local culinary-based MSMEs rooted in cultural heritage.

Customer satisfaction is a central issue in marketing management, as it plays a crucial role in determining customer loyalty amid increasingly intense business competition. A comprehensive understanding of the factors influencing customer satisfaction is essential not only for academics in strengthening marketing theory but also for practitioners in designing effective service and product strategies. This article aims to address two research questions: (1) what are the dominant factors influencing customer satisfaction, and (2) how does customer satisfaction relate to customer loyalty? The study employed a qualitative literature review method. The data consisted of scientific articles published between 2020 and 2025, accessed through Google Scholar and Publish or Perish (PoP) using the keyword “customer satisfaction.” From an initial selection of 30 articles, 27 were identified as relevant, and 5 core articles were further analyzed. The findings reveal three main themes: product and service quality as the dominant determinants of customer satisfaction; price, brand image, and promotion as supporting factors; and customer trust as an important mediating variable in building loyalty. This study concludes that customer satisfaction serves as a strategic link between service quality and customer loyalty. Future research is encouraged to explore the roles of digitalization, customer experience, and sustainability in shaping long-term customer satisfaction.
