The Calong traditional musical instrument from West Sulawesi is a cultural heritage of the Mandar people, possessing strong artistic and symbolic value. However, documentation of the instrument's construction and ornamentation remains limited. This study aims to identify the Calong's construction, analyze the variety of ornaments used, and uncover the aesthetic meaning and symbolism inherent in the instrument. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including direct observation, documentation, interviews with craftsmen and artists, and a visit to the West Sulawesi Pavilion at the TMII (Indonesian Museum of Traditional Art) as a comparative source for cultural representation. The results indicate that the Calong's construction utilizes specific bamboo selection and splitting techniques, which influence its resonance quality. The ornamentation reflects symbols of the relationship between humans and nature, ancestors, and the Mandar people's philosophy of life. Aesthetically, the combination of form, texture, and motifs creates a distinctive visual character while strengthening its musical identity. The study's conclusions confirm that the Calong is not only a musical instrument but also a cultural artifact with aesthetic and symbolic value that is important to preserve through education, cultural awareness, and ongoing documentation.

Sukapura batik represents the local wisdom of the Tasikmalaya Regency community, showcasing their relationship with the surrounding natural and social environments. This batik has distinct characteristics, particularly in its color palette, which features dark blue, maroon, and beige tones. Despite its long history, Sukapura batik struggles to achieve the same recognition as well-known batik from regions like Cirebon, Solo, and Pekalongan. As a result, the number of batik artisans in Sukaraja has gradually declined. This research examines the communication efforts to preserve Sukapura batik and explore its growth potential. Using a qualitative method and a case study approach, the study gathers data from participants through interviews, observations, and the analysis of written documents, both online and offline. The results showed that there are differences in marketing strategies between craftsmen in Sukapura Village and Janggala Village. Sukapura Village craftsmen still rely on traditional marketing, while the Gandok Jaya Mukti Joint Business Group (KUB) utilizes exhibitions and social media. The main challenges are low digital literacy and limited capital. Sukapura batik has the potential for development, despite challenges posed by global competition. Realizing this potential depends on support from the local government in areas such as human resource development, as well as marketing and promotion through online channels. The sustainability of Sukapura batik relies on the government's and policymakers' proactive involvement to devise and implement strategies that enhance promotional and marketing endeavors, particularly those targeting the younger generation. Efforts to raise awareness of Sukapura batik require collaboration between artisans, the government, and the community. One approach is through education and training for young batik makers, as well as providing facilities to support digital marketing.

This final project report aims to explain the application of a three-act structure in writing a feature video script entitled "Bamboo Melody: Reviving a Traditional Symphony." The three-act structure is used as a narrative approach that functions to raise the issue of the fading of the angklung's sound philosophy among Generation Z. Each act plays an important role in building a structured and easily understood storyline for the audience. The first act focuses on the introduction of the angklung's philosophical meaning. In this act, the audience is invited to understand more deeply about the cultural values contained in the angklung, especially through the perspective of angklung craftsmen who have a direct relationship with the creation of this traditional musical instrument. The explanations from the craftsmen provide an overview of how the angklung is not only a musical instrument, but also a symbol of a profound philosophy of life. The second act highlights the crisis of cultural regeneration, which is a major challenge in preserving traditions. In this act, the perspective of cultural experts is introduced to provide an analysis of how the younger generation, especially Generation Z, is increasingly alienated from traditional cultural values, including the angklung. Cultural experts explain various factors that cause the angklung and other cultural values to be less familiar to the younger generation, who are more accustomed to global popular culture. The third act demonstrates concrete efforts to preserve angklung culture through testimonies from young angklung players and performances at Saung Angklung Udjo. Through this performance, the audience sees how the angklung remains relevant and can be revived by involving a younger generation that is adaptable to developments in media and technology. The story's conclusion illustrates that cultural regeneration can be achieved through a creative approach and the active involvement of the younger generation, so that the angklung's sound philosophy becomes more than just a discourse but can also contribute to social harmony relevant to the current context.

Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the elderly in Mbatakapidu Village are still productive in doing household chores and weaving, this is done to fulfill household life. Age is no longer an obstacle for elderly women weaving craftsmen in Mbatakapidu because they are still able to carry out three-fold roles, namely the role of reproduction, the role of production and social roles, only to fulfill household needs or household economics. While elderly women should be able to no longer work and focus on their health due to their susceptibility to illness, the opposite is true in Mbatakapidu. This triple role is truly implemented by the elderly women through mat weaving.

Work in the informal sector, such as weaving, has high health risks due to the repetitive nature and static positions required. Weavers often experience Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) due to sitting too long in front of the loom for about 8 hours. This condition causes muscle contractions in the shoulders and neck, reduces blood flow, and causes pain and fatigue. A study of two sarong weaving industries in Dalangan Village found that 70% of 10 workers complained of low back pain. Many workers work with non-ergonomic positions and inappropriate equipment. Improvements in work attitudes are needed so that workers' health and productivity are maintained. This study aims to determine the relationship between work attitudes and MSDs disorders in the central craftsmen of the weaving industry. This research is a quantitative study using observational analysis method with cross sectional approach. The population was 35 from 4 locations with a sample of 35 respondents taken using total sampling technique. The songkok industry in Lamongan has quite a large economic potential, but still faces various challenges in increasing competitiveness, especially in facing increasingly tight market competition. Some of the main obstacles found are lack of innovation, limited access to wider markets, and low utilization of technology in production and marketing. This study aims to explore strategies to increase the competitiveness of local songkok products through a creative economic empowerment program using the Chambers Theory perspective. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, field observations, and literature studies. Data analysis was carried out descriptively qualitatively with three main stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the creative economic empowerment program plays a significant role in improving craftsmen's skills, encouraging innovation in design, and expanding the marketing reach of songkok products. By applying analysis based on Chambers Theory, this empowerment contributes to increasing power within (craftsmen's confidence and awareness), power to (individual capacity to innovate and develop businesses), power with (collaboration between craftsmen in the community), and power over (ability to face competition and external constraints). Based on these results, it can be concluded that empowering the creative economy is an effective strategy in increasing the competitiveness of Lamongan songkok products. Therefore, close cooperation is needed between the government, the artisan community, and the private sector in order to create a sustainable creative industry environment.
