This study explores key antecedents of turnover intention among employees in the warehouse industry, with a focus on workload, work stress, and job satisfaction. Conducted at CV. Sejati Pati, the research involved 102 respondents selected using a saturated sampling technique. The study applied a quantitative approach, using a structured questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale. Data were analyzed through multiple linear regression using IBM SPSS 27, including classical assumption tests such as normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. The results showed that workload and work stress have a positive and significant effect on turnover intention, while job satisfaction has a negative and significant effect. In contrast, compensation and work environment were found to be statistically insignificant. Simultaneously, all variables jointly contribute to explaining 64.9% of the variation in turnover intention. These findings underscore the critical role of managing job demands and psychological pressure while enhancing employee satisfaction to reduce the likelihood of resignation. The research provides empirical insights for human resource management in high-pressure sectors, particularly warehouses, where operational continuity and labor stability are crucial. It also offers practical implications for developing targeted strategies to improve employee retention and foster a more resilient workforce in logistics operations.

This study aims to analyze the influence of work-life balance and workload on turnover intention, with work stress as a mediating variable in employees of PT Semarang Garment. The phenomenon of high turnover in the garment industry is the background of this study, which is triggered by large production targets, high work pressure, and imbalance between work and personal life. These conditions have the potential to reduce employee welfare and increase the desire to leave the company. This study uses a quantitative method with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis techniques using AMOS version 24. The research sample of 360 respondents was selected through a simple random sampling technique, and data was collected using a structured online questionnaire. The results of the analysis show that: (1) Work-life balance does not have a significant effect on turnover intention, but has a significant negative effect on work stress, which means the better the work-life balance, the lower the level of work stress; (2) Workload has a significant positive effect on work stress, but does not have a significant effect on turnover intention; (3) Work stress has a significant positive effect on turnover intention, which indicates that the higher the work stress, the greater the employee's desire to leave. Furthermore, it was found that job stress mediates the relationship between work-life balance and turnover intention, so improving work-life balance can indirectly reduce turnover intention through reduced job stress. Theoretically, this study adds to the human resource management literature on factors influencing turnover intention. Practically, the results recommend that company management create a healthy work environment, manage workloads proportionally, and design policies that support work-life balance to reduce turnover intention.

Generation Z has emerged as a major force in today’s workforce, known for their enthusiasm in building careers and making meaningful contributions. They tend to favor flexible job environments that align with their skill sets. Despite this, many of them face job-related stress that leads to a higher likelihood of resignation. This study adopts a literature review method, analyzing 15 scholarly articles to explore the correlation between job stress and turnover intention among Generation Z employees in the creative industry. The findings reveal a significant positive relationship between stress and turnover intention, while job satisfaction and work environment help reduce the desire to quit. Key stressors include excessive workload, lack of appreciation, and mismatch between expectations and job reality. Thus, companies are encouraged to foster a supportive workplace culture and offer appropriate compensation to retain their young workforce.

The method used is quantitative, and data is collected via questionnaires. A total of 50 BPJPH employees across multiple work units participated. Data were gathered through a questionnaire designed to quantify turnover intention, workload, and job stress. The data was analyzed with multiple linear regression to determine the association between work stress, workload, and employees' intention to quit the job. The results indicate that both work stress and workload significantly affect turnover intention at BPJPH, both partially and simultaneously. The combined impact of work stress and workload on turnover intention is 89.5%, while the rest is 10.5% is influenced by other variables not covered in this research. The rapid growth of digital startup companies in Indonesia brings its own challenges in human resource (HR) management, especially related to workload and organizational commitment. High work dynamics, aggressive targets, and intense operational pressure can cause an imbalance in workload that impacts motivation, work stress, and increased turnover intention. HR commitment is a key factor in startup success, but it is difficult to achieve without effective and humane workload management. This community service activity was carried out by Karangturi National University (UNKARTUR), through the Faculty of Economics, Business and Humanities (FEBHum), which aims to improve the understanding, skills, and awareness of digital startup entrepreneurs and employees in Bugangan Village, Semarang, regarding workload management strategies. The methods used include workshops, group discussions, and direct assistance. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of the impact of disproportionate workloads, as well as the ability to implement efficient and sustainable work strategies. This activity also encourages collaboration between academics and practitioners in designing a healthy and adaptive work environment. With better workload management, it is hoped that the level of commitment, satisfaction, and retention of employees in digital startups can increase, while strengthening the competitiveness of local businesses in the era of digital transformation.
