This research aims to evaluate user interface/user experience issues and measure the usability level of batiksiputri.com. Batik Warna Alam siPutri is a micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) that has a website-based e-commerce, namely batiksiputri.com. This research was made using a qualitative descriptive method based on Jacob Nielsen's usability theory in determining what criteria have been applied and which have not been applied from the usability level at batiksiputri.com. The usability criteria used are Jacob Nielsen's usability criteria, namely learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors and satisfaction. The application of Jacob Nielsen usability in the evaluation of user interface design/user experience on batiksiputri.com resulted in the conclusion that the usability criteria applied in batiksiputri.com have implemented the criteria of learnability, efficiency and satisfaction well but have a few shortcomings in the criteria of memorability and error. This batiksiputri.com, requires further development in order to meet all user needs.

This study analyzes e-commerce platform preferences for digital marketing strategies among Generation Z students at the Institut Teknologi dan Bisnis Semarang using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. By evaluating four platforms (Tokopedia, Lazada, Shopee, TikTok) based on ease of use (25%), user experience (25%), promotions (15%), transaction security (15%), and product completeness (15%), the results show that Shopee leads (0.9333) with the best interface and features. TikTok (0.9080) excels in promotions but lacks security, Tokopedia (0.8820) remains consistent, while Lazada (0.8084) needs UX improvements. The implications suggest that platforms should optimize mobile interfaces, collaborate with influencers, and enhance visual search features to meet Gen Z’s demand for interactive experiences and economic value..

The rapid development of the financial technology (fintech) industry has brought various innovations in financial services, but also poses challenges related to conflict resolution between users and service providers. This study aims to analyze the user experience in resolving disputes through fintech platforms, with a focus on the effectiveness of existing dispute resolution mechanisms. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews with active users of fintech platforms who have been involved in disputes. The results of the study show that although fintech platforms provide various channels for settlement, such as mediation or arbitration, many users complain about transparency, complexity of procedures, and unclear information regarding their rights and obligations in the process. In addition, the trust factor in third parties involved in the settlement is also a major issue. These findings provide insight into the need to improve the resolution system by improving communication between fintech service providers and users, as well as clarifying settlement procedures to create a better user experience. This study is expected to contribute to the development of policies and regulations related to dispute resolution in the fintech sector. SION (Sistem Informasi Online) ITB STIKOM Bali is a platform used by students and lecturers to support administrative and academic processes on campus. This research examines how the user experience (UX) level of SION can enhance the quality of services provided by the system. The purpose of this study is to measure user satisfaction with the user experience quality. The study uses the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method, which includes six rating scales: attractiveness, clarity, efficiency, accuracy, stimulation, and novelty. The UEQ method also offers analytic tools that can be downloaded from its official website. Respondents in this study consisted of 75 people from a population of 248. The results of the UEQ analysis show positive evaluations across all aspects, with the following detailed scores: attractiveness received a score of 1.37, perspicuity 1.34, efficiency 1.16, dependability 1.21, stimulation 1.16, and novelty 0.87.

This study examines the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in marketing strategy through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. AI has shown a transformative impact by outperforming traditional methods, especially in optimizing big data-based marketing strategies. With the ability to analyze consumer behavior in depth, AI enables businesses to personalize marketing efforts and improve user experiences more efficiently and responsively. However, challenges such as data privacy, high initial investment, and reliance on data quality remain major concerns that must be addressed. This study also evaluates the effectiveness of using AI across marketing channels, which shows significant differences in their impact on business strategy. In addition, the integration of AI-based fitness equipment is considered to have a major contribution in increasing consumer satisfaction while driving online business growth. The results of this study provide valuable insights into the effective implementation of AI, as well as highlight the importance of maintaining data security and implementing AI strategically to provide optimal benefits for consumers and business development.

This research explores the implementation of computer vision technology in AI-based e-commerce platforms to enhance product identification and improve user experience. The study specifically examines the use of deep learning algorithms, particularly Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), to automate product recognition and classification. The results indicate that AI-driven image search features significantly increase the speed and accuracy of product search, leading to greater customer engagement. However, challenges such as the need for high-quality datasets, varying image quality, and high initial investment costs were identified as barriers to effective implementation. The findings suggest that overcoming these obstacles can lead to improved operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. The success of AI in e-commerce depends on robust infrastructure, data quality, and skilled workforce training.

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in banking has grown rapidly in recent years, providing opportunities and challenges in dealing with it. AI in the banking world is expected to facilitate use, strengthen customer data security, and optimize risk management. This article aims to analyze the level of customer user experience towards banking services by utilizing artificial intelligence (AI). The analysis technique used in this study is descriptive with a quantitative approach, involving 100 respondents of various ages, various jobs and various educational backgrounds. The main requirement for respondents is that they are customers of various conventional banks in Ponorogo Regency who have used artificial intelligence (AI)-based banking services. Data were collected through questionnaires supplemented with secondary data in the form of documents related to the implementation of artificial intelligence in the banking service system. The application of AI in the banking sector is the detection and prevention of fraudulent transactions in real time, identity verification through biometrics, identity verification through biometrics, chatbots and virtual assistants for customer service, detecting suspicious activity, and the use of smart wallets. The findings in this study explain that artificial intelligence (AI) is able to increase the efficiency of services to customers, provide a better experience, and improve the quality of banking services. This study explores the implementation of the Midtrans payment gateway system on the Bloxstore.id website using the Prototyping method. The main objective is to enhance the website's payment transaction process by integrating an efficient and secure payment gateway. The Prototyping method was chosen for its iterative approach, which allows for continuous feedback and system refinement. This research demonstrates how the integration of Midtrans improves the user experience by streamlining the payment process and offering various payment options. The results indicate significant improvements in transaction speed, security, and user satisfaction. This study’s findings are valuable for e-commerce platforms looking to optimize their payment systems and build customer trust through secure and efficient transaction methods.

The Samsat Digital application is designed to improve efficiency and transparency in the management of motor vehicle taxes in South Sumatra. The main goal is to provide the best service to the public using information technology. The Samsat Digital application is an innovative solution that aims to make it easier for the public to access motor vehicle tax administration services. This application provides various features that allow users to make vehicle tax payments, check tax status, extend STNK, and search for information related to Samsat services online. Through mobile application-based technology, Samsat Digital seeks to reduce long queues at Samsat offices, increase time efficiency, and provide a more practical user experience. The development of digital technology has transformed how companies present themselves online, with company profile and portfolio websites becoming crucial tools in building image and credibility in the digital market. This research aims to identify business opportunities in the website development industry, particularly for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), using NestLink as a case study. Utilizing the Business Model Canvas (BMC) method, the research analyzes the business model components of NestLink in providing website development services.The research results show that NestLink offers customized website solutions, including company profile website creation, ready-to-use templates, and portfolio websites. Distribution channels include social media, official websites, and digital advertising. The main strategy focuses on responsive design, good user experience, and flexible templates. The primary revenue comes from website development services and template sales.

This study aims to develop a web-based information system as a company profile for the hospitality industry, specifically for Hotel Griya Wijaya Ambarawa. The development method used is Research and Development (R&D), involving an iterative process to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the website. The results of this study indicate that the designed website not only improves hotel promotion but also expands market reach through interactive features such as an online reservation system and social media integration. The website is also designed to provide an optimal user experience with a responsive design, ultimately increasing reservations and customer satisfaction.

This study aims to develop a web interface for a digital wedding invitation service provider (Fairytale) using the User-Centered Design (UCD) approach. The research method follows the UCD approach, consisting of four main stages: (1) understanding the context of use, (2) identifying user needs, (3) designing solutions, and (4) design evaluation. Data collection involved 36 respondents through questionnaires, interviews, and usability testing. The findings highlight three key functional requirements: template customization (94.4%), guest list management (88.9%), and digital RSVP (86.1%). The implementation of UCD resulted in significant improvements in usability metrics: task success rate increased from 65% to 91.7%, error rate decreased from 35% to 8.3%, and user satisfaction rose from 3.2 to 4.3 (on a 1-5 scale). Mobile-first optimization became a central focus, given that 72.2% of users prefer accessing the platform through mobile devices. This research contributes to the development of the UCD model for digital platforms in Indonesia and provides practical guidelines for user-centered interface development. The study's limitations include a small sample size and a geographically focused scope, suggesting opportunities for future research with a larger scale..

In the digital business environment, web-based Point of Sale (POS) systems play a vital role in supporting transaction processing, inventory management, and operational decision-making. Ensuring the functional reliability of such systems is essential, particularly in critical authentication features that regulate user access. However, undetected functional errors within login and registration modules may disrupt operations, compromise data integrity, and reduce user experience quality. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the functionality of the Wingpos website, focusing specifically on the login and registration features. The research applies the Black Box Testing approach using the Equivalence Partitioning technique, which enables systematic functional validation by classifying input data into representative valid and invalid partitions without requiring access to source code. The testing process involved designing structured test cases, executing input scenarios, and comparing actual system outputs with expected results. The findings reveal that most authentication processes function in accordance with system specifications, as seven out of ten test scenarios produced expected outcomes. Nevertheless, three discrepancies were identified, including inconsistent error message validation in the login feature and the system’s inability to properly verify invalid email domains during registration. These results indicate that while the system demonstrates general functional reliability, certain validation mechanisms require refinement. In conclusion, the application of Black Box Testing with the Equivalence Partitioning technique proves effective in identifying functional gaps and supporting quality assurance processes in web-based POS systems, particularly in strengthening authentication feature reliability and improving overall system performance

This paper explores several proposed solutions, including advanced routers, VPNs, mobile applications, mesh networking, and hybrid cloud routers, that enable remote access to home networks. These technologies offer the potential to provide seamless, secure, and affordable connectivity, especially for individuals in rural or remote areas This innovation offers significant implications for rural internet connectivity and broader networking technology advancements. Additionally, the paper explores the societal and economic impacts of these technologies, particularly in underserved regions. By reducing dependence on expensive mobile data and providing secure, continuous internet access, these solutions can help bridge the digital divide in rural and remote areas. This study focuses on black-box testing of JivaJoy software, an online product stock management and ordering system. The primary goal of this research is to evaluate the functionality and performance of the system's key features, including profile management, CRUD operations for admin and customer accounts, product stock management, shopping cart, order management, and AI counseling. Black-box testing was applied to assess whether these features meet expected operational standards and user requirements without considering the internal code structure. The test results indicate that most features function as expected. However, some issues were identified related to input validation, particularly with email format, phone number length, file uploads, and product stock management. Additionally, the order management and AI counseling features showed deficiencies in error handling and input validation. Based on these findings, the study recommends improvements in input validation, product stock management, shopping cart functionality, and AI counseling systems to enhance the reliability and performance of the JivaJoy platform. These enhancements are essential to deliver more efficient, secure, and optimal services, ensuring better user experiences and customer satisfaction.

Digitalization is the main pillar of change in various aspects of life, including education and social interaction. Balai Diklat Keagamaan Palembang has adopted digital transformation through the development of eL TV, a digital learning platform. This research aims to analyze the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) on the eL TV website of the Palembang Religious Education and Training Center from an anthropological perspective using the Design Thinking method. This approach integrates aspects of culture, habits, and user behavior to create socially and contextually relevant designs. The research stages include Empathize through observations and interviews to understand user needs, Define to identify key problems, Ideate to generate creative solutions, Prototype to build an initial design that is responsive to local values, and Test to measure the effectiveness of the new design. This research concludes that an anthropological approach to UI/UX design through the Design Thinking method can increase user relevance and satisfaction with the eL TV website, while encouraging the use of technology that is more inclusive and oriented to the needs of local communities.

In the accelerating digital age, video thumbnails have become an important element in attracting users' attention and encouraging further interaction. Video thumbnails play an important role as a visual attraction to attract the audience. Graphic design strategies focus on elements such as creativity, color, typography, and illustration to create interesting and informative video thumbnails. Experimental research methods are used to test the effectiveness of new video thumbnail designs in improving user retention. This research focuses on improving YouTube user retention through the introduction of an innovative graphic design approach to video thumbnails. Research results show that an innovative graphic design approach can significantly improve YouTube user retention, demonstrating the importance of the role of graphic design in the context of digital marketing and social media user interactions. This study contributes significantly to the practice of graphic design and digital marketers in optimizing the user experience through interesting and informative video thumbnails.

In recent years, virtual assistants have become an integral part of everyday life, simplifying routine tasks and allowing users to focus on more important matters. This research aiming to design GiggleGate, a virtual desktop assistant integrated with both face and speech recognition technology to enhance authentication security. The objective is to develop an authentication system that not only verifies user identity but also provides a more intuitive experience and seamless interaction. The research employs a development methodology to create and implement the system, which integrates face recognition via OpenCV and speech recognition via a Python library. The findings indicate that the integration of these technologies enhances security and user experience by offering dual-factor authentication. The system is expected to contribute to more secure and accessible virtual assistant applications, offering both a practical and efficient solution for users. The implications of this study suggest that the combination of face and speech recognition can provide an effective means to protect user privacy and improve the overall functionality of desktop assistants.

This research focuses on evaluating the Combox web application, a digital tool designed to help Food and Beverage (F&B) business owners strengthen their online presence. The analysis was carried out through Black Box Testing, specifically using the Equivalence Partitioning method, to assess core functionalities like login, logout, product management, and pagination. The findings reveal that while most features function as intended, there are issues with product addition and editing, as well as pagination when no data is available. These results highlight areas that need refinement to improve the application’s reliability and user experience. In summary, this research supports the advancement of a digital platform that enables F&B businesses to harness technology effectively in today’s competitive landscape.
