The development of information and communication technology has increased the use of gadgets among high school students. Gadgets provide convenience in the learning process, but also have the potential to affect students' social behavior patterns. This study aims to describe and analyze the influence of gadget use on the social behavior patterns of students at SMA Negeri 3 Salatiga. This study uses a mixed methods approach, which is a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. Qualitative data was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, while quantitative data was obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to 72 students in grades XI-5 and XI-7 who were selected using purposive sampling techniques. The results of the study showed that the use of gadgets had an effect on decreasing the intensity of direct social interaction, reduced empathy for the surrounding environment, weakening interpersonal communication with peers and teachers, and low cooperation in group activities. Students tend to focus more on the use of gadgets than active involvement in social activities in the school environment. Therefore, it is necessary for schools, teachers, and parents to supervise and guide the use of gadgets wisely so as not to hinder students' social development.

The development of digital technology has provided many conveniences, especially in terms of access to information, communication, and financial services. However, behind these benefits there are great risks, one of which is the misuse of personal data that is rampant through the practice of illegal online loans (pinjol). This phenomenon is a serious threat to society, especially students, who are often targeted due to the lack of digital literacy and lack of awareness about the importance of personal data protection. Illegal loans not only cause financial losses, but also have an impact on psychological and social pressure. This Community Service activity was carried out at STISIPOL Silas Papare Jayapura with the main goal of providing legal and practical education regarding personal data protection as well as preventing illegal loan trapping. Activity methods include interactive legal counseling, group discussions, and case study simulations tailored to student experience. Limited access to learning resources appropriate to the local context presents a challenge in the mathematics learning process in indigenous communities such as the Baduy Tribe. Conventional mathematics learning is often considered too abstract and less relevant to the daily lives of Baduy children, especially in the Outer Baduy region. To address this challenge, this community service activity aims to introduce contextual mathematics learning media based on the surrounding environment and local culture. The media developed is designed to be easily accessible, affordable, and environmentally friendly, while still respecting prevailing traditional values. The method used in this activity is Participatory Action Research (PAR), with a collaborative approach between a team of lecturers and the Outer Baduy community. The activity implementation process includes six stages, namely: identification of local problems and potential, planning, designing learning media, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of activity results. The results of the activity show an increase in interest and understanding of basic mathematics concepts among Outer Baduy children. Children appear more active, enthusiastic, and confident in participating in the learning process through educational games and concrete activities. The media used utilizes natural objects and local cultural elements, such as woodcuts, ancient angklungs, traditional hats, and distinctive Baduy woven motifs. The community responded positively because these media do not conflict with traditional values. This activity has had positive cognitive and social impacts and strengthened awareness of the importance of a contextual and culturally based educational approach as a relevant and inclusive learning strategy.

The community service program titled Great Youth, Strong Mentality at Untung Suropati Catholic High School aimed to enhance students understanding and skills in managing stress and anxiety, which are increasingly prevalent among adolescents due to academic pressures, social dynamics, environmental changes, and excessive exposure to social media. These issues are exacerbated by a lack of knowledge about effective stress management strategies, such as relaxation techniques and emotional communication, as well as the stigma surrounding mental health that discourages adolescents from seeking help. The counseling was conducted using an interactive approach, comprising a 30-minute informative lecture to explain the concepts of stress and anxiety, small group discussions (5–7 students) to encourage reflection and sharing of experiences, and practical exercises on relaxation techniques, such as diaphragmatic breathing and mindfulness, to provide hands-on experience. Supporting materials, including visual presentations and interactive quizzes, were utilized to enhance student engagement. Post-event evaluation revealed significant improvements in the understanding of stress and anxiety among students in grades X, XI, and XII. Students demonstrated enthusiasm through active participation in discussions and practical sessions, as well as positive feedback on the supportive and stigma-free environment. The program successfully equipped students with practical skills for stress management and fostered a healthier learning environment. For sustainability, it is recommended to conduct similar programs regularly, integrate mental health education into the school curriculum or extracurricular activities, provide concise modules for students’ independent use, and collaborate with school counselors to monitor technique implementation and offer ongoing support to ensure long-term impact on students mental well-being.
