The development of the digital world has brought significant changes to various aspects of people's lives, including the family economy. Digitalization opens up new opportunities for economic activity, particularly through the use of social media, marketplace platforms, and digital financial services. However, many people still lack adequate digital literacy and are therefore unable to optimally utilize this technology to increase family income. This community service activity aims to improve the community's digital literacy and encourage the use of digital technology as a means of sustainably increasing family income. The implementation method includes providing training on the basics of digital literacy, digital-based entrepreneurial mentoring, and hands-on practice in using social media as a promotional tool, marketplaces as sales channels, and digital financial services to support business transactions. The results of the activity indicate an increase in public understanding of the use of digital technology, a change in a more adaptive entrepreneurial mindset, and the emergence of various digital-based business initiatives. The use of digital technology has been proven to open new economic opportunities and make a positive contribution to increasing family income.

Anemia among adolescent girls is one of the health problems that is often overlooked, even though it has serious impacts on learning concentration, productivity, and reproductive health in the future. One of the main causes of anemia is iron deficiency and an unbalanced diet. This community service activity aims to increase adolescent girls’ knowledge about anemia prevention through health promotion using poster media with the approach of “Smart Nutrition for Iron Health.” The activity was carried out at Pesantren Al-Mubarak 12 November 2025, targeting 34 adolescent girls. The method included planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages, with pre-test and post-test conducted to assess participants’ knowledge levels. The results showed a significant increase in adolescents’ knowledge regarding anemia prevention. Before the activity, 55% of respondents had poor knowledge, 35% moderate, and only 10% good. After the intervention, 75% of respondents had good knowledge and 25% moderate, with no respondents in the poor category. These results indicate that poster media is effective in increasing adolescents’ understanding of anemia and the importance of consuming a balanced diet rich in iron as an effort to prevent anemia among adolescent girls.

Diarrhea is one of the diseases that remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality among elementary school-aged children. A mother's knowledge as the primary caregiver is an important factor in the prevention of diarrhea. This study aims to analyze the effect of health education through pop-up book media on mothers' knowledge about diarrhea prevention in children at SDN 160 Mulyorejo II, Luwu Utara Regency. The research design used a quantitative quasi-experimental approach with a one group pretest posttest design. The population consisted of 143 mothers with children attending SDN 160 Mulyorejo II, with a sample of 54 respondents selected using stratified random sampling. The intervention was carried out by providing education using pop-up book media, followed by measuring knowledge before and after the intervention using a questionnaire. Data analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test yielded p < 0.001, indicating a significant effect of health education through pop-up book media on mothers' knowledge about diarrhea prevention. This media is effective because it combines three-dimensional visual and interactive elements that enhance mothers' interest and understanding of health material. The conclusion is that health education through pop-up book media can significantly improve mothers' knowledge about diarrhea prevention in children, and is recommended as an alternative educational medium in public health promotion.

The incidence of degenerative diseases, which are part of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), remains a major cause of death worldwide and in many regions of Indonesia. Meanwhile, efforts to prevent degenerative diseases affecting the adolescent age group are still rare, such as the establishment of a Youth Posyandu, including in Sungai Duren Village. There is no health post that provides youth care services in Sungai Duren Village, while there are many teenagers living there (students under 21 years old) with various lifestyles that are at risk of degenerative diseases. This study aims to analyze the increase in adolescent knowledge about CERDIK between before and after the establishment of the Youth Posyandu in order to prevent degenerative diseases early. This study is a quasi-experimental study involving 30 adolescents by measuring the dependent variable of knowledge. The research instrument used is a questionnaire. Computerized data processing and analysis were conducted through descriptive statistical analysis and T-test analysis. The results showed a significant difference in respondents' knowledge of CERDIK before and after the establishment of the Youth Posyandu in Sungai Duren Village (p=0.000). This study indicates that structured health education can improve adolescents' understanding of CERDIK and can be used as an effective promotive and preventive strategy.

This study aims to analyze the influence of promotion, shopping convenience, advertising, recommendation, comment, and credibility factors on purchase intensity in the TikTok Shop platform among Indonesian households. The rapid development of social commerce services requires a deep understanding of factors driving online purchasing decisions, especially among families as primary users. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing a Likert-scale questionnaire distributed online. The sample consisted of 150 active TikTok Shop users from various household backgrounds. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via SmartPLS was used to analyze the direct effects of each factor on purchase intensity. The results indicate that promotion, shopping convenience, and credibility significantly and positively influence purchase intensity, while advertising, recommendation, and comment have relatively weaker yet still relevant effects. These findings underscore the importance of effective promotional strategies, ease-of-shopping enhancements, and building platform credibility to boost purchase intensity within the household consumer segment. The practical implications can guide e-commerce practitioners and digital marketers in formulating adaptive marketing strategies in the era of social commerce.

The development of live streaming and shop social media has made TikTok a potential digital platform to support community entrepreneurship. TikTok functions not only as an entertainment medium but also as a means of promoting and selling products online. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to optimize the use of TikTok as an entrepreneurial medium for Dasa Wisma (Dawis) women. The activity was carried out in four stages: preparation, implementation, evaluation, and reporting. The methods used included lectures, discussions, questions and answers, and hands-on practice in creating and managing TikTok content for business purposes. The training results showed that the Dawis women were able to understand and practice using TikTok as a sales medium, from account creation, promotional video content creation, to interacting with potential buyers. Evaluation of participant satisfaction and understanding showed a positive response to the training implementation. Thus, this activity successfully increased the knowledge and skills of the Dawis women in utilizing TikTok as an entrepreneurial medium and supported the development of digital technology-based online businesses.

This study aims to analyze the marketing strategies of Islamic bank products based on sharia values implemented in Mojoarno Village (Ikhsanudin et al. 2024). The background of this research is the increasing development of Islamic banking in Indonesia which is not always followed by sucient understanding of sharia nancial products at the rural level (Qothrunnada et al. 2023). This condition requires Islamic banks to design marketing strategies that are not only focused on product promotion, but also on education, empowerment, and strengthening public trust (Damayanti 2023). This research uses a qualitative case study approach on an Islamic bank that actively conducts marketing activities around Mojoarno Village (Yin 2018). Data were collected through in-depth interviews with bank marketing sta , religious leaders, and customers, participatory observation in socialization and religious activities, as well as documentation of promotional materials and internal reports (Miles and Huberman 2014). The data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing with source and technique triangulation to ensure validity. The ndings show that marketing strategies integrated with sharia values—such as justice, transparency, and avoidance of riba, gharar, and maysir—combined with religious and cultural approaches through mosques and majelis taklim can increase public literacy and interest in Islamic bank products (Rahman, Aji, and Sopingi 2023). However, several challenges still remain, including low initial nancial literacy, strong informal nancial practices, and limited marketing resources in rural areas (Syifa, Nasution, and Inayah 2024). The implications of this research emphasize the importance of synergy between Islamic banks, religious leaders, and local communities to develop sustainable sharia-based marketing models in rural contexts.

Background: Adolescence is a developmental period characterized by emotional instability and vulnerability to mental health problems such as anxiety, stress, and low self-esteem. The increasing prevalence of emotional and mental issues among adolescents in Pekalongan City highlights the need for effective and accessible relaxation interventions. Methods: This community service program aimed to introduce and implement mindful meditation as a relaxation medium to help adolescents manage emotional and mental problems. The activity was carried out at SMP Negeri 13 Pekalongan through health education, guided meditation sessions, and reflection activities involving 23 students. Results: Evaluation results showed an increase in participants’ understanding of mindfulness and their ability to practice relaxation independently. Participants also reported reduced emotional tension and improved mood after regular meditation sessions. Conclusion: The findings suggest that mindful meditation can serve as a simple, low-cost, and effective strategy to promote emotional well-being among adolescents. Further programs are recommended to integrate mindfulness-based practices into school health promotion activities

This study aims to describe the characteristics of AIESEC Future Leaders (AFL) promotional content on the Instagram account @aiesecupnvy using a descriptive qualitative approach and Charles Sanders Peirce's semiotic analysis. Promotional content was chosen as the focus of the research because it plays a crucial role in building audience interest and understanding of the self-development programs offered. The research results indicate that AIESEC UPNVY utilizes several types of visual and verbal signs designed to attract attention and build emotional closeness with its target audience, namely students and young people. Content highlighting program benefits, testimonials from previous participants in the form of single words, expressions of delegates' happiness, and symbolic videos about togetherness proved effective in creating social proof and strengthening AFL's image as a program that provides valuable experiences. This strategy aligns with the AIDA principle, where each piece of content is designed to attract attention, generate interest, cultivate desire, and encourage registration action. Additionally, using a cutting-edge approach thru creative visuals, short narratives, and authentic content strengthens the promotional appeal on digital platforms. Overall, this study concludes that the AFL promotional content has been strategically and innovatively crafted, enabling it to enhance the effectiveness of marketing communication and help strengthen audience engagement with the program.

The rapid advancement of digital technology has transformed online media into a primary source of real-time information for the public. This study examines the role of journalists at Radar Bogor in presenting news and conducting digital promotion through local online platforms. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the study analyzes how journalists curate trending topics such as social assistance, K-pop, tourism, culinary content, and music to align with audience interests and enhance reader engagement. Findings indicate that Radar Bogor journalists act not only as information providers but also as mediators who ensure news accuracy, relevance, and clarity. Furthermore, they develop creative promotional content that supports local businesses and community initiatives, strengthening the platform’s competitiveness in today’s crowded digital media landscape. The study concludes that journalists play a dual role: maintaining journalistic quality while optimizing digital promotional strategies to expand audience reach. These insights contribute to understanding the evolving responsibilities of local online journalists in the era of digital media.

Cooperatives need to strengthen their digital marketing capabilities to remain relevant and competitive in the digital era. This community service program was designed to enhance the digital literacy of cooperative managers and administrators in Semarang Regency by introducing essential knowledge and practical skills in social media management, content creation, and simple digital automation. The activity was conducted in Semarang Regency with a total of 32 participants representing various cooperatives. The training lasted for one full day and combined short lectures, guided demonstrations, hands-on practice, and consultation sessions. Pre-test and post-test assessments were used to measure learning improvement, while observation and participant feedback were employed to evaluate practical application. The results show a significant increase in participants’ understanding of digital marketing tools, with post-test scores rising by an average of 38% compared to the pre-test. Participants were also able to create basic promotional content using platforms such as Facebook and Canva, and several cooperatives began implementing these tools shortly after the training. The activity demonstrates that targeted digital marketing training can effectively support cooperatives in expanding their market reach, improving promotional efficiency, and strengthening member empowerment. Future programs are recommended to include advanced modules on data analytics and e-commerce integration to ensure sustainable digital transformation.

The development of digital technology has greatly influenced consumer behavior, particularly among Generation Z, who are dominant in Indonesia's hijab fashion market. This shift requires businesses to adapt their strategies to meet the dynamic, trend-driven, and digitally-savvy preferences of young consumers. This study examines the business development strategy of Leenavie.id, a hijab brand, and the challenges it faces in targeting Generation Z. Using a qualitative approach with case study methodology, in-depth interviews with business owners were conducted to gain insights into the business development process. The findings show that Leenavie.id focuses on product innovation, competitive pricing, social media as a primary distribution and promotion channel, and leveraging e-WOM for brand awareness and emotional connections with consumers. Success indicators include a high repeat order rate, positive market response, and external collaboration offers. However, challenges such as limited capital, small production capacity, and underutilization of the marketplace hinder scalability. The study suggests that enhancing digital adaptation, strengthening operational capacity, and fostering strategic collaborations are key to improving the competitiveness and sustainability of local hijab businesses. Future research should include consumer perspectives for a more comprehensive understanding of customer behavior and loyalty.

This study aims to analyze the operational strategies, promotional practices, and implementation of business ethics at the small and medium enterprise (SME) Warung Makan (RM) Bunda in Medan City. The research employs a case study approach with a qualitative-descriptive method. Primary data were collected through semi-structured interviews with the owner, employees, and selected customers using purposive sampling, complemented by participatory observation and document analysis such as sales records, simple financial reports, and promotional materials. Data were analyzed through inductive and deductive coding processes to identify key themes, including understanding of business ethics, implementation of marketing strategies, the impact of these strategies on customer loyalty and brand image, as well as challenges faced in business management. The validity of findings was strengthened through data source triangulation and member checks with key informants. The results indicate that the marketing and promotional strategies implemented have positively influenced the improvement of the business image and customer loyalty, although the SME still faces limitations in resources and market competition challenges. These findings provide important implications for the development of sustainable business strategies for SMEs in the culinary sector.

The program “Youth Empowerment in Developing UMKM Assets through a Basic Business Management Workshop in Balung Lor Village” aims to address the low involvement of youth in the village’s micro-business sector, which is currently dominated by elderly entrepreneurs. This community service initiative applies the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach using observation, interviews, focus group discussions, and community asset mapping. The theoretical framework of asset-based empowerment positions youth as a crucial human asset for economic regeneration. The discussion highlights entrepreneurial mindset building, basic business literacy, digital marketing skills, and youth creativity in generating new economic initiatives. The results show significant improvement in youth understanding of production costing, capital management, business planning, and social media-based promotion. In conclusion, the ABCD approach effectively enhances youth participation in local economic development, strengthens UMKM sustainability, and lays a solid foundation for creating a future generation of adaptive and innovative village entrepreneurs.

This community service activity aims to enhance the understanding of high school graduates regarding the architect profession, educational pathways, and the legal requirements needed to become a professional architect according to the guidelines of the Indonesian Institute of Architects (IAI). The socialization event was held online on November 27, 2025, featuring two professional IAI architects as speakers and attended by 97 participants. The activity included interactive material presentations, discussions, and evaluations through a pretest and post-test consisting of five questions. The results showed an increase in participants' understanding of the role, responsibilities, and legal aspects of the profession, with an average correct answer rate of over 90%. The most significant improvement occurred in the legal aspects, where participants gained a better understanding of the importance of the Architect Registration Certificate (STRA) as legal proof of professional competence. This socialization proved effective in raising awareness among prospective students about the importance of professionalism, ethics, and regulatory knowledge in architectural practice. The event also served as an academic promotion tool that strengthened the connection between architectural education and society's need for architects with integrity.

The Community Service Program (KKN) of the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, State Islamic University of North Sumatra, in Aek Kota Batu Village, North Labuhanbatu Regency, was carried out as a form of community service focusing on digital-based economic empowerment. This program originated from the low level of digital literacy and the limited ability of micro-entrepreneurs to utilize technology as a means of promotion and financial transactions. The main objective of this activity is to enhance the community’s ability to use digital maps and the QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) payment system as a strategy to expand market reach and create transaction efficiency. The method used is the Participatory Rural Appraisal approach, with stages including observation, socialization, training, mentoring, and evaluation. The results of the activity show that the community experienced an increased understanding of digital technology and was able to apply digital mapping to ten local business units. In addition, several business actors have implemented QRIS in daily transactions, which has proven to improve convenience and security in financial dealings. From the perspective of Islamic economics, this activity represents the values of maslahah (public benefit), itqan (excellence), and tawazun (balance) in the community’s economic life. Thus, this program successfully created a socio-economic transformation based on Islamic values and can serve as a model for digital economy-based community service programs at the village level.

Workshop on strengthening branding, storytelling, and social media-based promotion has been carried out to help female culinary entrepreneurs in the Sahabat Genggam Teman Indonesia (GTI) Community in Bekasi City enhance their digital skills. The training took place on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the computer laboratory of Universitas Nusa Mandiri Jatiwaringin, Central Jakarta, as part of the 2025 DPPM Grant Program from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemdiktisaintek). This community service activity aimed to improve the digital skills of female culinary entrepreneurs in the Sahabat GTI Community in Bekasi City through training in branding, storytelling, and social media-based promotion. The challenges faced were low understanding of consistent branding, effective storytelling techniques, and appropriate digital promotion. The methods used in this activity included practical training, simulations, and interactive discussions focused on improving participants' skills in creating logo designs, crafting product narratives, and utilizing social media as an effective promotional tool. The results of the training showed significant improvement, with an average increase of 85%, especially in branding and the use of social media for promotion. This training successfully provided a positive impact in enhancing participants' digital competence, which in turn can improve the competitiveness of their culinary businesses in the digital market. Empowering female MSME entrepreneurs through this training opens opportunities for the development of more professional and sustainable local culinary businesses in the global market.

After participating in the program, 73.3% of participants assessed the material as excellent and relevant to their business needs. This program provides a tangible contribution to the development of technology-based applied science while supporting community economic empowerment through the MSME digitalization process.

The use of electronic cigarettes (vapes) among adolescents continues to increase and has emerged as a significant public health concern influenced by the interaction of individual, social, and environmental factors. This study aims to comprehensively riview the factors influencing adolescent e-cigarette use from the perspective of Social Cognitive Theory. A descriptive-narrative literature review was conducted using empirical national and international studies published between 2015 and 2025 and retrieved from Google Scholar, PubMed, and ScienceDirect databases. The synthesis of the literature indicates that adolescent vaping behavior is influenced by social environmental factors, including peer influence and exposure to social media, as well as personal cognitive factors such as knowledge, risk perception, outcome expectations, and self-efficacy. These factors operate thorugh observational learning and reciprocal interactions between individuals, environment, and behavior. This review concludes that Social Cognitive Theory provides a relevant and comprehensive framework for understanding adolescent vaping behavior and offers a foundations for the development of effective health promotion interventions and preventive policies.
