Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disease whose prevalence is increasing due to changes in lifestyle, especially among the younger generation, including students. Unhealthy habits such as a high-calorie diet, lack of physical activity, and high levels of stress can increase the risk of developing DM. Currently, DM is the seventh leading cause of death worldwide, with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) being the largest cause of death. Based on the Southeast Sulawesi Health Profile, DM is ranked fifth out of the ten most common diseases in Southeast Sulawesi with a total of 13,946 sufferers. The increase in the number of people with type 2 diabetes mellitus is a serious global health threat. Therefore, it is important to prevent the prevalence of DM through preventive and promotive actions. One promotional activity that can be carried out is to educate, encourage change and increase knowledge about healthy lifestyles so that the occurrence of disease or bad health conditions in the future can be prevented.

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the sleep quality of final year students, focusing on the role of stress, anxiety, physical activity and parental support. Final year students often deal with high levels of academic pressure, such as writing a thesis, which can disrupt their sleep patterns. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with literature study to identify the main themes related to students' sleep quality. Findings suggest that high levels of stress and anxiety, especially related to academic deadlines, negatively impact sleep quality. Apart from that, intense physical activity and lack of social support from parents also contribute to sleep disorders. The implications of this research demonstrate the importance of managing stress and anxiety, as well as the need for emotional and practical support to help students maintain the quality of their sleep. This research provides insights for universities to design programs that support student well-being, as well as contributing to research related to final year student mental health and sleep.

This research explores the relationship between Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and mental health among high school students at Saraswati 1 Denpasar High School, Bali. Employing a cross-sectional quantitative approach, the study assessed FoMO levels using the FoMO Scale by Przybylski et al., and mental health aspects—depression, anxiety, and stress—using the DASS-21 scale. A total of 236 students, selected through convenience sampling, participated in the study, with data analyzed using descriptive and correlation tests. The findings indicate that 40.7% of students experienced moderate levels of FoMO, while significant proportions reported severe or very severe anxiety (38.1%) and stress (37.3%). Correlation analyses using Spearman and Pearson tests revealed positive and significant relationships between FoMO and depression (r = 0.322, p < 0.01), anxiety (r = 0.361, p < 0.01), and stress (r = 0.404, p < 0.01). These results emphasize the influence of excessive social media use on adolescents' mental health, highlighting the importance of interventions like counseling and educational programs to address FoMO's psychological effects. The study's limitations include sampling constraints and absenteeism, indicating the need for future research with more comprehensive methods.

Fasting, as one of the main acts of worship in Islam, has a deeper meaning other than just enduring hunger and thirst. It is hoped that this practice can shape individual character, increase spiritual awareness, and have a positive impact on physical and mental health. However, although the spiritual benefits of fasting have been widely discussed, scientific research regarding the impact of fasting on health is still limited. Therefore, this study aims to explore the impact of fasting on physical and psychological health and its influence on self-development. This research uses quantitative methods with an experimental design. A total of 100 participants consisting of individuals who fasted and non-fasted during Ramadan were randomly selected. Data was collected through questionnaires regarding physical and psychological health as well as direct observation of lifestyle before and after fasting. Body mass index (BMI), blood pressure, and stress levels were also measured at two time points: before and after the 30-day fasting period. Data analysis was carried out using the t test to see significant differences between the fasting and non-fasting groups. The results of the study showed that fasting had a significant effect on weight loss, reduced cholesterol levels, and a more stable increase in blood pressure. Psychologically, participants who fasted experienced reduced levels of anxiety and increased concentration and peace of mind. However, this effect is temporary and is more visible in individuals who had a healthy lifestyle before fasting. In addition, most respondents reported increased spiritual closeness and increased feelings of empathy towards others after fasting.

Nowadays, insomnia symptoms are experienced by many people, especially those who are in the final semester and are working on their final assignments. The common causes of insomnia are anxiety and stress. Therefore, this study tries to investigate the correlation between anxiety and stress levels and the incidence of insomnia among college students completing the thesis at the Health Sciences Faculty of Universitas Abulyatama. This study employs an analytical design with a cross-sectional approach involving 134 college students as the sample chosen using a total sampling technique. The data was analyzed using univariate and bivariate data with the Chi-Square test. The result reveals that from 134 respondents, the majority experienced sleep disorder indicated by 51 students (38, 1%). On the anxiety variable, the majority experienced severe anxiety 36 students (26, 9%), and the variable of stress level indicated that the majority experienced moderate stress 63 students (47%). Based on the Chi-Square test, there is a correlation between the anxiety variable (p=0,008) and stress level variable (p=0,005) towards the incidence of insomnia in final-year students. This study concludes that the incidence of insomnia in final-year students is influenced by anxiety and stress. Generation Z, born approximately between 1997 and 2012, grew up in a period characterized by advancements in digital technology, globalization, and unique social pressures. This article explores the dynamics of physical and mental health among Gen Z, focusing on the challenges and opportunities they face. Physically, a sedentary lifestyle driven by reliance on technology and changes in modern dietary patterns has increased the risk of obesity and metabolic disorders. On the other hand, growing awareness of the importance of exercise and healthy living paves the way for improvement. In the context of mental health, Gen Z experiences higher levels of anxiety, depression, and stress compared to previous generations, largely due to academic pressures, social expectations, and intense exposure to social media. However, the stigma surrounding mental health is gradually diminishing, with more individuals seeking professional help. This article also highlights the importance of a holistic approach, including the integration of digital health technologies and community-based programs, in supporting the well-being of this generation. With a deeper understanding, cross-sector efforts can be made to create an environment that better supports the physical and mental health of Gen Z.

Galah shrimp is one type of freshwater shrimp that has great potential for cultivation. One of the obstacles to the growth of king prawns is water quality. This study was conducted to determine the effect of the installation of Vegetable Floating Raft (VFR) on the growth of king prawns (Macrobrachium rosenbergii). This study was conducted using the t-test method, with control and Vegetable Floating Raft treatments. The results showed that the growth pattern of weight and length of king prawns in each treatment was relatively the same. However, the daily weight growth rate of king prawns in the control treatment was greater at 3.36%, compared to the treatment of Vegetable floating raft at 1.26%, while the daily length growth rate of king prawns in the control treatment was 0.86%. The daily length growth rate in the Vegetable floating raft treatment was smaller at 0.61%. During the study the value of the degree of survival of the control treatment was 95%, while in the treatment of Vegetable floating raft the percentage of the degree of survival of king prawns was 62%. Based on the results of visual observations seen the rest of the feed and the rest of the skin during molting. It is suspected that shrimp are stressed due to changes in water quality characterized by increased ammonia levels in the last maintenance week caused by the death of kale plants in the maintenance medium.
