This study aims to analyze the quality of public services at the Kelurahan Air Putih, Samarinda Ulu District, Samarinda City, East Kalimantan. The research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through interviews and questionnaires. The findings indicate that public service quality at Kelurahan Air Putih is generally categorized as good, as reflected in the majority of respondents agreeing with most service quality indicators, including procedural clarity, staff friendliness, service speed, and administrative requirements. Service completion targets approximately 15 minutes when all requirements are met. However, several aspects still require improvement, particularly in terms of information accessibility, service speed, facility availability, and reduction of service barriers. The study concludes that routine internal evaluation and openness to community feedback are key factors in maintaining and improving service quality. In addition, strengthening employee competence through regular training, optimizing digital service systems, improving public communication, and enhancing supporting infrastructure are expected to increase service effectiveness and customer satisfaction. These improvements will also contribute to more transparent, accountable, responsive, efficient, and citizen-oriented public services while supporting sustainable improvements in local government administrative performance and public trust.

This study examines the influence of work discipline, training, and motivation on employee performance at PDAM Tirta Ayu, Tegal Regency. In a public service organization such as PDAM, employee performance is crucial to ensure customer satisfaction and strengthen institutional competitiveness. A quantitative survey method was used with questionnaires distributed to all 115 employees using a saturated sampling technique, as the entire population was included. The independent variables analyzed were work discipline (attitude, compliance with rules, responsibility), training (materials, methods, instructor competence, duration, facilities), and motivation (intrinsic and extrinsic). Employee performance, as the dependent variable, was measured using indicators of work quality, work quantity, teamwork, and problem-solving ability. The data were processed through multiple linear regression to assess simultaneous and partial effects. The research findings revealed that work discipline, training, and motivation each have a positive and significant impact on employee performance, but for training has a positive and insignificant effect, this is shown by the significant results of each significant level for work discipline sig value = 0.000 (<0.05), training sig value = 0.632 (>0.05) and motivation with sig value = 0.000 (<0.05). These results highlight the importance of strengthening employee discipline, implementing well-structured and sustainable training programs, and fostering sustainable motivation strategies. This research provides practical implications for PDAM Tirta Ayu management in designing policies to improve overall employee performance, thereby improving service quality and organizational competitiveness.

This study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline, job satisfaction, and motivation on the performance of billman employees at PT. PLN Electricity Services ULP Kediri City. Employee performance plays a strategic role in ensuring the company’s service quality and operational sustainability, particularly in the field of billing services which directly impacts customer satisfaction and company revenue. The research employs a quantitative approach with a multiple linear regression method to assess both partial and simultaneous effects of the independent variables. The population of this study consisted of all 33 billman employees of PT. PLN Electricity Services ULP Kediri City, and due to the small size, a saturated sampling technique was used so that the entire population served as respondents. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to all employees and then analyzed statistically. The findings indicate that, partially, work discipline has a negative and insignificant effect on employee performance, suggesting that discipline alone does not guarantee productivity improvement. On the other hand, job satisfaction and motivation both have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, showing that intrinsic and psychological factors contribute more strongly to optimal work outcomes. Furthermore, when tested simultaneously, work discipline, job satisfaction, and motivation collectively exert a positive and significant influence on employee performance. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.786 indicates that 78.6% of variations in performance can be explained by the three variables, while the remaining 21.4% is influenced by other factors outside this research model. These findings emphasize the importance of fostering job satisfaction and motivation through supportive management policies to enhance employee contributions and organizational effectiveness.

This study examines a comprehensive approach to addressing common issues in laundry services, such as ineffective scheduling, skills gaps, and operational inefficiencies. The research focuses on RPK Omah Laundry Prapen, aiming to improve work processes and optimize human resources in this laundry business. The proposed solutions include the implementation of an attendance system, financial application training, laundry and ironing skills training, and a single-shift work system. The attendance system is designed to improve workforce punctuality, while the financial application training aims to enhance employees' understanding of financial management. Additionally, providing specific training on laundry and ironing techniques helps to bridge the skills gap and ensure high-quality service. The introduction of a single-shift work system aims to increase efficiency by streamlining operations and reducing staff fatigue. The results of the study indicate that these proposed solutions lead to several positive outcomes. The attendance system contributes to better time management, fostering a sense of responsibility among employees. Financial application training helps staff manage the business's finances more effectively, leading to more informed decision-making. Furthermore, the skills training program has shown improvements in the quality of laundry and ironing services, which directly impacts customer satisfaction and retention. The adoption of a single-shift work system reduces operational costs and increases the overall efficiency of the laundry services. Ultimately, this approach enhances fairness, operational efficiency, and productivity, creating a more conducive work environment. This study aims to examine the influence of pricing, promotion, and service quality improvement on the sales level in the telecommunications services of PT Sinergi Inti Andalan Prima, Tbk, located in Meruya Ilir, West Jakarta. The research adopts a quantitative approach using primary data obtained through the distribution of structured questionnaires. The population in this study consists of all permanent employees of the company, totaling 35 individuals. Given the relatively small population, a saturated sampling technique was applied, making all members of the population the research sample. Data were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 25. The analysis process involved validity and reliability testing, classical assumption testing, and hypothesis testing through multiple linear regression analysis to determine the effect of each independent variable—pricing, promotion, and service quality improvement—on the dependent variable, sales level. The findings reveal that pricing has a significant positive effect on the sales level, indicating that appropriate and competitive pricing strategies can enhance sales performance. Similarly, service quality improvement also shows a significant positive influence on sales level, suggesting that better service delivery directly contributes to increased customer satisfaction and sales outcomes. Conversely, the study finds that promotion does not have a significant effect on sales level in this case. This may be due to promotional activities not being optimally targeted, lacking sufficient frequency, or failing to deliver persuasive messages to the intended market segment. Overall, the results highlight the importance of focusing on competitive pricing strategies and continuous improvement in service quality as key drivers of sales growth in the telecommunications sector. The study recommends that PT Sinergi Inti Andalan Prima, Tbk prioritize these two aspects while reevaluating its promotional strategies to ensure better alignment with customer needs and market conditions.
