Consumptive behavior is the activity of spending one's finances based on desires without thinking about needs and not accompanied by logical decision making. Consumptive behavior is commonplace among students and staff at a university, they always follow current trends and make purchases because of attractive promotions. The aim of this research is to find out the influence of the use of online shops, digital promotions, lifestyle and self-control on the consumer behavior of the FEBI UIN Jambi Academic Community. This research was carried out using a quantitative descriptive approach and carried out direct observations in the field, as well as using the SPSS 29 tool. The results of this research were that there was no significant influence on the variables of online shop use and self-control on consumer behavior because the results obtained were 0.340 > 0.05 and 0.728 > 0.05, but in the digital promotion and lifestyle variables there is a significant influence on consumer behavior because the results obtained are 0.001 > 0.05. And a simultaneous influence was found between the variables of online shop use, digital promotions, lifestyle and self-control on consumer behavior. And there is a joint influence of the variables of online shop use, digital promotions, lifestyle and self-control on consumer behavior. Phubbing is a behavior where someone uses their smartphone while interacting with others, engrossed in playing with their phone and avoiding direct communication. There are several factors that cause individuals to perform phubbing behavior. Some of these factors are smartphone addiction, Fear of Missing Out (FoMO), and low self-control. In today's era, smartphones contribute significantly to facilitating various activities in society. However, uncontrolled smartphone use can lead to various negative effects, one of which is phubbing behavior. This study was conducted to examine the correlation between self-control and phubbing behavior among college students. This research is non-experimental quantitative research with a correlational design. The sampling technique that used is accidental sampling with the number of samples obtained as many as 236 samples. The instruments used in this study are the Phubbing Scale (PS) and the Self Control Scale (SCS). Based on the results of this study showed that self-control has a significant and strong negative relationship with phubbing behavior among collage students.

An important aspect of education is the development of self-control, which is the foundation for a child's ability to control their emotions, behave appropriately, and make educated decisions. Students' academic and social success are significantly impacted by self-control, which is a key indicator of long-term success. The point of this exploration is to figure out how the impact of Islamic strict training instructors at SD Negeri 1 Tanah Luas has on understudies' discretion. The existence of e-wallet applications as a new means for conducting various financial transactions has become a common phenomenon among the public, especially students. These digital wallet applications are gradually replacing cash as the primary medium of exchange and offering quicker financial products/services at users' fingertips. Therefore, as agents of change, Generation Z needs to be equipped with financial literacy and self-control to ensure the use of e-wallets does not deviate and remains aligned with their original purpose, which is to facilitate economic activities. This study examines the influence of financial literacy levels on financial behavior moderated by self-control among active students at Universitas Padjadjaran through a questionnaire distributed across 16 faculties, resulting in a final sample of 442 respondents. The data processing technique used in this study is simple regression analysis and MRA (Moderated Regression Analysis), which aims to understand the influence of independent variables on dependent variables and how the moderating variable strengthens this relationship. The results of this study indicate that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on financial behavior, and self-control as a moderating factor strengthens the relationship between these two variables.

This research aims to determine the influence of shopping lifestyle and discounts on impulse buying among Shopee users in the Solo Raya area through the moderating variable self-control. This research uses quantitative methods. The population in this study were Shopee users in Solo Raya and had made purchases at Shopee in the last 3 months. The sampling technique in this research used purposive sampling with 97 samples. Data collection is carried out online via Google Forms. Data analysis in this research used SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) via SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results of this research show that shopping lifestyle and discounts have a significant effect on impulse buying. The results of the self-control moderation analysis are able to moderate (strengthen) the influence of lifestyle shopping and discounts on impulse buying among Shopee users in the Greater Solo area.

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Islamic financial literacy, lifestyle and self-control on financial management behavior in FEBI UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi students. The method used is quantitative method, using SPSS 29. The sample in this study were 95 samples of students from class 2020, 2021, and 2022 by distributing questionnaires. The results showed that there was no significant influence between Islamic financial literacy on financial management behavior, with a tcount < ttable value, namely (1.498 < 1.986) or Sig> a (0.05) value, namely 0.137> 0.05. There is a significant influence between lifestyle on financial management behavior, with a tcount> ttable value, namely (2.645> 1.986) or Sig value < a (0.05), namely 0.010 < 0.05. There is a significant influence between self control on financial management behavior, with a tcount> ttable value, namely (5.090> 1.986) or Sig value < a (0.05), namely 0.000 < 0.05. There is a joint influence between the variables of Islamic financial literacy, lifestyle and self control simultaneously on financial management behavior with a value of 0.001 <0.05 and a value of fcount> ftabel (36.916> 3.10.).
