A clean, neatly arranged and beautiful environment is something that people really desire. Because it will brings various positive impacts including: increasing the sense of comfort for the community, avoiding potential diseases and contributing to a green environment which brings many benefits. The 5S program is a program that is commonly implemented by many companies. 5S is an extension of (seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu, shitsuke) or usually translated as 5R (concise, neat, clean, diligent care). 5S is very suitable to be implemented in society where it is hoped that it will have an impact on creating a green environment. 5S education and workshops are carried out by providing directions along with examples. This application consists of sorting community equipment that is needed and not needed. Seiton explained that all community equipment has its proper place. Seiso by carrying out environmental cleaning is equipped with seiketsu which is routine scheduling, as well as shitsuke whose application is routine checking of the environment together to produce further improvements to the environment

This study reviews the implementation of 5S Culture at Muhammadiyah 1 Wates Vocational School as the main strategy in building student character. The 5S culture (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, and Shitsuke) is implemented to improve discipline, responsibility, cooperation, and the quality of the learning environment. This research explores the positive impact of implementing 5S Culture on student character development, as well as how this strategy contributes to increasing academic achievement and forming quality personalities. The research methods used include observation, interviews, and documentation analysis to provide a comprehensive picture of the effectiveness of this program in the context of vocational secondary education.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperbaiki sistem penyimpanan dan penempatan bahan baku komoditi tube dan tape di gudang PT Maximos Global Logistik Semarang. Saat ini, penempatan produk di gudang dilakukan secara tidak teratur, menyebabkan waktu pencarian yang lama. Penelitian ini melibatkan perumusan masalah, tujuan penelitian, studi literatur, observasi, dan wawancara dengan staf terkait, serta pengumpulan data inventori dan pemesanan. Dengan menggunakan metode ABC dan analisis FSN, material di gudang diklasifikasikan menjadi tiga kelas berdasarkan pergerakannya: A, B, dan C. Implementasi metode ini mendukung prinsip 5S, khususnya Seiton dan Seiketsu, untuk mempermudah penempatan dan identifikasi material. Barang ringan ditempatkan di Level 4, barang berat di Level 2, dan material yang tidak bergerak di Level 6, memudahkan identifikasi oleh admin dan karyawan lapangan.

Until now, many warehouses in companies are still not neatly arranged, this is because the storage layout is not perfect, making it difficult for employees to reach the materials that will be taken for use in production activities. PT. XYZ is the largest shipbuilding company in Indonesia. PT XYZ also has several warehouses, one of which is Warehouse 03 electrical. This research aims to help optimize the efficiency level of Warehouse 03 Electrical PT. XYZ uses the 5S method and Pie Chart. The implementation of the 5S culture in Warehouse 03 electrical is implemented according to the applicable SOP, but the implementation is not yet optimal. Application of the 5S method in warehouse 03 electrical PT. XYZ It is felt that XYZ is not yet optimal because only 2S (Seiso and Seiketsu) is running optimally. while 3S (Seiri, Seiton, Shitsuke) has not run optimally. Therefore, this research was conducted to evaluate the application of the 5S method in the 03 electrical warehouse of PT. XYZ. The evaluation results using the 5S method and Pie Diagram aim to support and increase productivity in the Warehouse 03 electrical area as well as company performance

Central warehouse PT. X is a place to store materials needed for production. PT. X is a large company operating in the maritime and energy sectors. 5S work culture (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seikatsu, Shitsuke) is a work culture adopted from Japan which aims to create an orderly work environment and increase safety, efficiency and reduce non-value added activities. The implementation of the 5S+Safety culture is implemented according to the SOPs in the central warehouse, but the implementation is not optimal. Implementation of the 5S+Safety method in the PT warehouse. X is considered not optimal because only 2S (Seiketsu and Shitsuke) is running well while 4S (Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Safety) is not running well. Warehouse employees are advised to apply the 5R checklist and carry out routine independent audits which will be supervised by the department head. Therefore, this research was conducted to evaluate the implementation of 5S+Safety in PT. X’s  central warehouse. Evaluation results using the 5S+Safety method support increasing company productivity and performance.
