Character education is one of the important aspects in the world of modern education, especially in Indonesia which makes national character building a major vision of national education. This article aims to explore the implementation of extracurricular activities in supporting student character education at SMA Negeri 1 Panyabungan. Through structured activities such as sports, arts, scouts, and social activities, students are introduced to values ​​such as responsibility, cooperation, tolerance, and leadership. The results of this article show that extracurricular activities play a significant role in developing student character, creating individuals with integrity, independence, and are ready to face various challenges in life.

This research aims to examine the strategy of developing the character of love for the country among students through education, using the literature study method. Education is a major factor in building a strong and competitive nation amidst the challenges of the fourth industrial revolution and globalization. The development of the character of patriotism is essential to prepare young people who are committed to national values and have the spirit of nationalism. This literature review explores the concept of patriotism, the role of teachers, and effective learning strategies in the school environment. The results of the analysis show that the development of the character of patriotism can be realized through various holistic educational activities, such as intracurricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular. The active role of teachers in instilling national values and involving students in local cultural activities is also very significant. A supportive school culture and extracurricular activities such as scouting also play an important role in fostering a sense of love for the country. The study concludes that a comprehensive strategy involving all relevant parties, including the government, schools and parents, is needed to overcome challenges and strengthen the character of patriotism in the digital era.

The purpose of this study is to describe the process of developing students' character through Scouting education and to find out the elements that support and hinder Scouting activities in elementary schools. Students, teachers, and community members are the topics of this qualitative research. Methods to obtain data with research, observation, and documentation. The main tool used is the use of instruments for data collection of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results emphasize how important scouting activities are in helping students develop independent, mutual cooperation, nationalist, religious, and ethical traits. Daily scout lessons are used to implement these activities; scout activities, marching activities, and educational resources are used in the Dasadarma and SKU by using five different teaching approaches, namely punishment or sanctions, exemplary, habituation, lecture, and habituation.

This study aims to describe the formation of student character through scout activities at Mts Almahfudz Sapuran Wonosobo. This research was conducted using field research using a qualitative descriptive approach, namely a research process that produces descriptive data in the form of statements and the results of interviews, observations, and documentation obtained directly from the field or research area. The results of this study were found in the formation of the character of class VII and VIII students who used the honor code learning model, which is a measure or standard of behavior for members of the Scout movement. In scouting learning a student is trained to become someone who has a leadership spirit and is based on the formation of self-character. As a member of Scouting, the values of a code of ethics and code of honor must be understood and understood by all members of the Scout Movement, they are expected to take an oath of scouting (scout promise) and be willing to carry out scout law (scout law). The words on the promise or the guiding oath or the law of guiding tri satya and keeping the dasa dharma. Thus the authors can conclude that there is influence in scout education in the formation of the character of class VII and VIII students at Mts Almahfudz Sapuran Wonosobo.
