The findings of this study indicate that work environment, job satisfaction, and motivation simultaneously have a significant effect on the commitment of teachers and staff at Petukangan Selatan 01 Public Elementary School. This shows that a conducive work environment, such as adequate facilities, supportive colleagues, and a comfortable atmosphere, can increase the sense of belonging and loyalty among employees. Job satisfaction, which includes aspects such as fairness in rewards, recognition of achievements, and appropriate workloads, also contributes to strengthening work commitment. In addition, motivation, both intrinsic and extrinsic, plays a central role in encouraging employees to perform their duties with responsibility and enthusiasm. These findings also reinforce the importance of creating a balance between external factors (such as work environment) and internal factors (such as motivation and job satisfaction) to achieve strong commitment. Therefore, the implication of this research is that school management needs to continuously improve working conditions, develop fair reward systems, and provide opportunities for career development. By doing so, the commitment of teachers and staff can be maintained and even enhanced, which in turn will support the achievement of school goals more effectively.

This study is a qualitative research employing a case study approach to explore the leadership management of a madrasah principal in improving teacher performance. The data analysis technique used consists of four main steps: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. To ensure the validity and reliability of the findings, source triangulation was applied. The research findings reveal that the madrasah principal plays a multifunctional role encompassing that of a manager, supervisor, and motivator, all of which are central to the effective management of the institution. The principal’s leadership is characterized by a strong orientation toward the achievement of the institutional vision, optimal resource management, and the establishment of a conducive and productive learning environment. Several strategic efforts have been implemented to enhance teacher performance, including the enforcement of work discipline, organizing continuous professional development through teacher training, offering rewards and incentives for achievements, cultivating positive attitudes and mental resilience among staff, and providing financial support to facilitate teaching activities. These strategies reflect a proactive and visionary leadership model that emphasizes communication, motivation, and collaboration. The effectiveness of this leadership approach is evidenced by the significant improvement in teacher performance, contributing to the overall enhancement of educational quality within the madrasah. This study concludes that leadership which is visionary, communicative, and supportive is essential in fostering an environment that promotes teacher development and institutional progress. The results of this research provide valuable insights for education stakeholders, particularly in Islamic educational institutions, on how strategic leadership practices can drive meaningful change and improve educational outcomes. This study also highlights the importance of ongoing support, recognition, and empowerment of teachers as key elements in building a high-performing and motivated teaching workforce.

Vocational high schools (SMK) play an important role in preparing students for the world of work. However, student learning outcomes in the subject of Electrical Lighting Installation at SMK Negeri 5 Kota Padang are still relatively low, with an average pretest score of 57.34. This study aims to test the effectiveness of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model in improving student learning outcomes. The research method used was classroom action research with 32 students from class XI TITL as subjects. Data were collected through pre-tests, post-tests, and observations of student activities during learning. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of STAD successfully improved student learning outcomes significantly, with an average post-test score of 82.19 and an N-Gain Score of 0.58 (moderate category). Academic achievement also increased from 15.6% to 75%. Further analysis revealed that collaborative interactions within groups, the reward system, and active student participation were key factors contributing to the success of this method. However, challenges such as time management and low student engagement require attention. It is concluded that the STAD model is effective in improving students' learning outcomes in the subject of Electrical Lighting Installation, both in terms of cognitive aspects and social skills. Therefore, it is recommended that teachers implement STAD with proper syntax and consider developing supporting media such as digital simulations to optimize the learning process.

Education plays a crucial role in the development and survival of a nation. Teachers as the main actors in the educational process have a big responsibility in achieving successful quality education. This research aims to examine the impact of awards and recognition on the achievement motivation and professionalism of Indonesian language teachers. The research method is a qualitative approach with in-depth interview techniques, a hypothetical case study conducted on five Indonesian language teachers from two different schools. The research results reveal that awards increase work morale, encouragement to innovate, and teachers' intrinsic motivation. Recognition also has a significant impact on professionalism by increasing commitment, performance standards, and collaboration between teachers. Effective forms of reward include financial rewards, public recognition, and personal development opportunities. However, challenges such as consistency, fairness and sustainability in reward systems still need to be addressed. This research confirms the importance of rewards and recognition in increasing teacher motivation and professionalism, as well as contributing to improving the overall quality of education.

This is indicated by Y= 47,334+0.525X which means if the reward variable increases by 1 point then there will be an increase in the reward of 0.525. Judging by the F test known Fcount is 65,334 smaller than the Ftable of 4.23 with a significant < 0.05, i.e. 0.000 greater than 0.05.,. This means Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. 2) reward variables contributed 37.7% to teacher achievement variables and the remaining 62.3%were influenced by other factors not studied by the authors.
