Scientific articles not only function as a medium for conveying information but also as a representation of the author’s academic credibility and intellectual authority within the scientific community. In academic writing, language plays a crucial role in shaping the author’s identity, reliability, and scholarly position. This research aims to conceptually examine the relationship between linguistic choices and the construction of authority in Indonesian-language scientific articles. The study employs a library research method with a critical discourse analysis approach toward various references related to functional linguistics, discourse studies, and ethics in academic writing. The findings indicate that academic authority is constructed through several linguistic aspects, including lexical precision, grammatical objectivity, cohesion and coherence of ideas, as well as a careful epistemological attitude that remains open to alternative interpretations and scientific dialogue. In addition, the use of formal, systematic, and evidence-based language contributes significantly to strengthening the legitimacy of scientific arguments. Within this framework, language is not merely a communication tool used to present ideas, but also an instrument for legitimizing knowledge and reinforcing the author’s credibility, reliability, and authority in academic discourse. Therefore, mastery of academic language becomes an essential component in producing quality scientific articles.

The transformation of political communication in the digital era has fundamentally altered the ways political parties and their affiliated wing organizations interact with party cadres and the broader public. In Indonesia, party wing organizations such as Angkatan Muda Pembaharuan Indonesia (AMPI), Angkatan Muda Partai Golkar (AMPG), and other youth wings increasingly rely on social media as the primary medium for political cadre formation. However, this shift has not only created new opportunities for participation but has also generated structural problems, including the dominance of symbolic communication, the personalization of political elites, and the subordination of ideological discourse to the algorithmic logic of digital platforms. This article aims to critically examine how the digital political communication of party wing organizations operates within the context of Indonesia’s representative democracy, the extent to which it constitutes a deliberative public sphere for young cadres, and how such practices affect the quality of political cadre formation. Employing a critical paradigm and a transdisciplinary qualitative approach, the study integrates Habermas’s theory of the public sphere, Aeron Davis’s evaluation of democratic communication, and the concept of the mediatization of politics. The findings indicate that the digital communication of party wings tends to function primarily as an instrument of symbolic consolidation and loyalty mobilization rather than as an arena for dialogical political education. Consequently, digital cadre formation produces representational identities more than critical political consciousness. This article therefore recommends a reorientation of the digital political communication of party wing organizations toward deliberative and emancipatory models in order to strengthen internal party democracy and promote substantive political regeneration.

This research investigates the impact of tourist attractions, service quality, and electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) on visitors’ intention to revisit Sendang Tourism Village, located in Tulungagung, East Java. Additionally, the study explores the function of visitor satisfaction as an intermediary variable and digital promotion as a potential moderator. The study emerged from the concern over fluctuating visitor numbers despite Sendang’s rich appeal in terms of natural landscapes, cultural heritage, and traditional charm. A quantitative method was applied, making use of a structured data collection process structured survey distributed to 138 individuals who had previously visited the site. The data were examined through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to evaluate and interpret the relationships between the research variables both the direct and mediated pathways between variables. This technique was chosen for its ability to explain complex relationships within behavioral research. The results reveal that tourist attraction, service quality, and e-WOM have a significant positive influence on revisit intention. Furthermore, tourist satisfaction was shown to act as a bridging variable between these predictors and return visits. On the other hand, digital promotion was not found to significantly moderate these effects. This indicates that digital marketing, while useful, may not independently boost visitor return rates unless paired with strong destination quality and positive visitor experiences. From a conceptual standpoint, the study contributes to tourism marketing discourse by incorporating both mediation and moderation into the revisit intention framework. In practical terms, the findings highlight the need for tourism managers to prioritize visitor satisfaction and enhance the core travel experience. Digital tools should complement rather than replace genuine service improvements and compelling destination features to effectively encourage repeat tourism.

The implementation of digitalization in the healthcare sector through the Integrated Referral sistem (Sistem Informasi Rujukan Terintegrasi/SISRUTE) offers significant opportunities to expand access and improve the quality of healthcare services, especially in remote and underserved areas of Indonesia. This paper aims to analyze the challenges of implementing SISRUTE from a legal perspective, focusing on the principle of equitable healthcare access. The study uses a normative juridical approach combined with literature analysis, examining national regulations, including Law No. 17 of 2023 on Health, Government Regulation No. 47 of 2021 on Hospital Administration, and supporting ministerial policies. The research identifies several barriers that hinder the effectiveness of SISRUTE implementation, such as uneven distribution of digital infrastructure, limited internet connectivity, lack of adequately trained healthcare personnel, and the absence of supporting local regulations that align with national policy frameworks. These challenges create disparities in the utilization of SISRUTE, particularly in rural and remote areas, undermining the constitutional mandate for equal access to health services. From a legal standpoint, the principle of equity in healthcare has yet to be fully realized through SISRUTE due to these systemic gaps. The study concludes that strategic efforts are needed to improve intergovernmental coordination, harmonize health and digital regulations, strengthen healthcare workers' digital competencies, and invest in robust infrastructure development. Only through an integrated legal, technological, and human resource approach can SISRUTE fulfill its intended function in supporting a fair, inclusive, and effective healthcare referral system nationwide. This paper contributes to ongoing discourse on legal reforms for digital health equity in Indonesia.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of election-level simplification from a legal perspective to overcome the waste of election resources and costs. Elections in Indonesia have faced various challenges, including waste in excessive paper usage, overlapping stages, and inefficient budget allocations. These inefficiencies not only burden the General Elections Commission (KPU) but also affect the effectiveness and transparency of the democratic process. Simplification of election levels is expected to be an effective solution to reduce the administrative and material burdens that hinder the implementation of elections. By streamlining the structure and reducing redundant stages, election organizers can focus more on quality, security, and public participation. This study uses a normative juridical approach by analyzing relevant laws and regulations, such as Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections, as well as various policies and proposals related to election-level simplification. The analysis also includes legal principles such as efficiency, effectiveness, and legal certainty. Furthermore, the study examines how other democratic countries manage election logistics efficiently to draw lessons that can be contextualized in Indonesia. The results of this study are expected to provide concrete policy recommendations that support the implementation of simplified election systems. These recommendations are aimed at optimizing the election process by minimizing waste, both in terms of budget and the use of natural and human resources, while maintaining the integrity and legitimacy of the democratic process. Thus, this study contributes to the discourse on election reform and democratic strengthening in Indonesia.

The cassation legal effort has a high urgency in the Indonesian civil justice system as a corrective mechanism for errors in the application of law and an instrument to ensure uniformity of national law. The relevance of this topic is increasing along with the large number of cassation cases submitted to the Supreme Court (MA) and has the potential to hamper the legal function of the highest judicial institution. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the application of cassation in civil cases and identify various obstacles that affect its implementation. This study uses a normative legal method with a regulatory approach and case studies supported by a literature study of laws and regulations, court decisions, and appropriate legal literature. The research findings indicate that the effectiveness of cassation is hampered by a combination of internal factors, such as excessive caseloads and limitations of the MA information system, as well as external factors such as weak legal understanding of the parties, declining quality of previous court decisions, and misuse of cassation as a litigation strategy. This study concludes that structural reform and increased capacity of judicial actors are needed, as well as strengthening of civil procedural law norms in order to clarify the role of cassation as a tester of the application of law, not a forum for objections to facts. This study contributes to the discourse on judicial reform and opens up opportunities for further research with empirical and comparative legal system approaches.

This study aims to examine the principle of cooperation in pragmatic analysis based on Grice's theory as applied in the Indonesian comedy show Lapor Pak! broadcast on Trans7. The focus of the research is on the violations of the maxims of quantity, quality, relevance, and manner as performed by characters such as Andika, Surya, Vincent, Wendy, and Kiki. These violations are analyzed as strategic communicative acts intended to generate humor. The study employs a qualitative descriptive method with listening and note-taking techniques applied to purposively selected dialogue transcripts. The findings reveal that the deliberate violations of Grice’s maxims function not as communicative failures, but as rhetorical and pragmatic tools that enhance comedic effect, deliver subtle social criticism, and strengthen character portrayal. Therefore, in the context of entertainment discourse, violating cooperative principles serves as an effective and purposeful pragmatic strategy.

This research examines how Pancasila and Islamic Religious Education function as foundational value systems in shaping civil law relations and promoting private justice, analyzed through the lens of Islamic Sociological Jurisprudence. Within Indonesia’s pluralistic yet religious societal framework, civil law extends beyond formal legal provisions and reflects the living moral, social, and religious norms embedded in the community. This study adopts a normative juridical method, complemented by conceptual and sociological approaches, and is supported by an extensive review of legal literature and scholarly discourse. The study reveals that Pancasila encapsulates essential principles, including justice, human dignity, and social equilibrium, which resonate with the ethical foundations of Islamic teachings. At the same time, Islamic Religious Education contributes significantly to cultivating legal consciousness and moral responsibility among individuals, thereby encouraging a model of private justice that transcends rigid legal formalism and emphasizes societal welfare (maslahah). From the standpoint of Islamic Sociological Jurisprudence, civil law should operate as a dynamic instrument that adapts to social realities while incorporating prevailing Islamic values. In conclusion, embedding the values of Pancasila and Islamic Religious Education within civil law frameworks enhances both the legitimacy and the substantive quality of justice. This research offers a conceptual contribution toward developing a civil law system that is more responsive, equitable, and aligned with Indonesia’s socio-cultural and religious context.

The rapid proliferation of misinformation across digital platforms has emerged as a critical challenge, undermining public trust, shaping opinion, and eroding the quality of democratic discourse. As reliance on digital platforms for information dissemination intensifies, the regulation of online content has become a focal issue for scholars, policymakers, and platform operators. This study examines the intersection of cyber law, platform governance, and content moderation, analyzing how platforms manage misinformation while balancing freedom of expression. Employing a normative and socio-legal approach, the research utilizes comparative methodology to assess national and international cyber law frameworks, alongside case studies of platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter. Public policy analysis is conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of current governance models. Findings reveal significant variation in regulatory responses, with the European Union’s Digital Services Act offering a robust framework but facing enforcement challenges. Platforms, acting as non-state regulators, are criticized for inconsistent moderation and limited transparency. The study concludes that hybrid regulatory models combining state intervention with platform self-regulation hold promise for addressing misinformation effectively while safeguarding digital rights. This research contributes to ongoing debates on balancing free speech, accountability, and social control in the digital age.

Language plays a crucial role in the academic world as a tool for communicating ideas and information systematically. In writing academic texts such as research proposals, the use of proper grammar in accordance with academic conventions is a fundamental aspect that must be considered. Good grammar enhances the readability of a study and clarifies the author’s intentions and objectives. Conversely, grammatical errors may lead to ambiguity, reduce the credibility of the research, and hinder readers’ understanding. This study aims to analyze the grammatical structure of a research proposal titled "Innovative Mirror Neuron Approach Based on Gender for Character Development and Scientific Communication to Support the SDGs in the Era of Society 5.0", focusing on the introductory chapter. Using a qualitative approach with textual analysis, the study examines morphological, syntactic, and discourse-level aspects of the proposal. The findings reveal that while the text generally meets academic writing standards, there are several areas that require improvement, particularly in sentence structure, conjunction usage, clarity of meaning, punctuation, and terminological consistency. This research highlights the importance of grammar mastery in academic writing and offers recommendations to enhance the linguistic quality of research proposals among students.

This study aims to analyse reasoning in the opinion columns of Kabar Madura, a prominent local newspaper in Madura. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical design to understand and evaluate the quality of argumentation in these opinion columns. Data were collected through content analysis and discourse analysis of opinion articles published within a specific timeframe. The findings reveal that while many articles demonstrate effective rhetorical use and a critical approach, there are deficiencies in evidence presentation and logical consistency. More experienced writers tend to construct stronger arguments supported by relevant evidence, whereas less experienced writers often struggle to formulate coherent and logical arguments. This variation in argumentative quality indicates a need for writer training and capacity development. Additionally, the analysis shows that some articles adopt a critical approach that aids readers in understanding the complexities of local issues. The local social and cultural context also influences reasoning in the opinion columns, with articles relevant to the daily lives of the Madurese community receiving more positive responses. The study concludes that enhancing reasoning quality in opinion columns can improve the credibility and impact of local media in shaping public opinion. Practical recommendations include providing training for writers and further research encompassing more local media and mixed methods for more comprehensive results. This research contributes significantly to the development of more critical and responsible journalism within the local media context in Indonesia.
