After the health education activities were carried out, the results showed that the enthusiasm of the participants when participating in the health education activities was very high, seen from the material presentation session, the participants were seen paying attention to the material presented. During the activity, participants were active in asking questions and were able to answer questions and wanted to know more about the material that had been presented. The ability of participants in answering pretest and posttest questions also showed an increase because the audience when working on the pretest questions, an average of did not know the material to be presented with a total of 13 questions. Then, when working on the posttest questions, an average of had increased knowledge after the presentation of the material presented with the same number of questions. Early symptoms that appear when an infection occurs in a postoperative wound are open wounds/open stitches and there are signs of infection: Redness, Swelling, Pain, Decreased function of the infected organ, Pus, Fever. Stress and depression problems can have many negative impacts on teenagers, including mental health problems in teenagers, and can even lead to dangerous behavior. In Indonesia, the prevalence of stress in the younger generation is increasing from year to year, reaching 6.0% of the population. Maybe 6% still feels small. However, this number continues to increase every year as more and more young people participate in bullying, and bullying has become more common these days. The ability to maintain self-control in the face of overwhelming situations, people, and events is also the definition of stress management. If managed well, stress transforms from an obstacle to a motivator of social, intellectual, and psychological well-being. The aim of this activity is to increase knowledge in teenagers about stress management. It is hoped that students will be able to understand and implement stress management by means of deep breathing exercises and progressive muscle relaxation. The results of the questionnaire obtained from these four categories were 910 points. Apart from that, the findings from this activity were that 46 respondents (100%) could do deep breathing and progressive muscle relaxation exercises very well. It is important for students to know how to deal with stress, especially since the source of stress comes from the academic process

Background: Diabetic foot ulcers are one of the most common complications in patients with diabetes mellitus. Patients with diabetic foot wounds have various degrees of anxiety. One of the anxiety measurement tools is HARS (Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale). Progressive muscle relaxation is one of the non-pharmacological treatments to reduce anxiety. Objective: To describe the results of the implementation of progressive muscle relaxation on anxiety levels in patients with diabetic foot wounds. Methods: This study used a descriptive research design case study approach by observing the anxiety level of diabetic foot wound patients on 2 respondents, carried out in the morning and evening for 5 consecutive days with a frequency of 15 minutes. The instruments used were HARS (Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale) scale sheet, SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) progressive muscle relaxation, anxiety level observation sheet, stopwatch. Results: Results: There were changes in anxiety levels before and after progressive muscle relaxation in Mrs. S from moderate (27) to mild (15). While in Mrs. I from moderate (26) to mild (15).  Conclusion: The application of progressive muscle relaxation can be useful for reducing anxiety levels in both diabetic foot wound patients.

Chronic Kidney Failure (CKD) is a progressive and irreversible disease characterized by a decrease in the glomerular filtration rate (GFR). In this disease, uremia impairs the kidney's ability to maintain metabolism and water and electrolyte balance. Fatigue is one of the most common symptoms in patients undergoing hemodialysis which impacts quality of life. Progressive muscle relaxation is a type of non-pharmacological nursing intervention that can be used to treat fatigue in CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis. The aim of this research is to determine the application of progressive muscle relaxation therapy to fatigue in CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis therapy. The research design used is a case report. The instrument used to measure the level of fatigue is the Functional Assessment Chronic Illness Therapy (FACIT) fatigue scale. The intervention was carried out for ten to fifteen minutes over three days in the hospital hemodialysis unit and four days at the patient's home. Evaluation of respondents' level of fatigue was carried out on days 1, 5, and 8. The results of this study showed that the fatigue level score after intervention on day 1 was 16 (severe category), the score on day 5 was 20 (moderate category), and day 8 was 24 (moderate category). It can be concluded that progressive muscle relaxation therapy can reduce fatigue in CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis. The results of this research can be applied independently by nurses for CKD patients undergoing hemodialysis to reduce fatigue levels.

The proportion of the elderly population is increasing every year, and the elderly are experiencing various changes, both in physical, mental and social aspects. The elderly are residents aged over 60 years. Elderly people often experience various psychological problems such as loneliness, isolation, helplessness, lack of self-confidence, post-power syndrome, anxiety disorders and depression. Depression is a mood disorder that can cause prolonged feelings of sadness and persistent loss of interest, characterized by prolonged sadness, mood swings, and lack of interest in activities. The tool used to measure the level of depression in this case report uses the GDS (Geriatric Depression Scale) instrument. In this case report, the results of an assessment of one 66 year old client were obtained with a GDS score of 11 which indicated moderate depression. Management of depression can use pharmacological or non-pharmacological therapy. This case report refers to the Indonesian Nursing Intervention Standards (SIKI) using progressive muscle relaxation (ROP). The ROP intervention was carried out at BPSTW Abiyoso Wisma Talkondo for seven days with three evaluations. The results obtained were that the client experienced a decrease in the level of depression with a score of 5, namely mild depression. It can be concluded that ROP is effective in reducing depression levels in the elderly.

This study aims to determine the effect of a combination of Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) exercises and back massage on blood pressure in hypertension sufferers in the RW001 Sarua Indah Ciputat area, South Tangerang. This research uses a descriptive study type of research with a quantitative approach. The appropriate method for this research is the pre-experimental research method. Design Pre-experimental design is a design that includes only one group or class that is given pre- and post-tests (Sugiyono, 2014). This research design only uses a single group, so it does not require a control group. Before being given treatment, the experimental group first underwent a pretest, followed by action (intervention), namely using a combination of Progressive Muscle Relaxation and Back Massage exercises, then continued with giving a posttest.

Insomnia is one of the main disorders in initiating and maintaining sleep among the elderly. Insomnia is defined as a complaint about a lack of quality sleep caused by one of the reasons why it is difficult to get into sleep, frequent awakenings at night and then difficulty getting back to sleep, waking up too early, and not sleeping well. The poor quality of sleep in the elderly is caused by increased sleep latency, reduced sleep efficiency and early awakening due to the aging process. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of progressive muscle relaxation therapy on insomnia in the elderly in posbindu, patikraja village. This type of research is one group pretest-posttest with pre-experimental. The sample size used in this study was 19 respondents. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Methods of data collection using a questionnaire. The statistical test used in this study was the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test with 0.05. The results of this study note that there are differences before and after being given progressive muscle relaxation therapy. The results of the analysis of the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test obtained a p value of 0.000 <0.05, meaning that there is an effect of progressive muscle relaxation therapy on changes in insomnia in the elderly in Posbindu, Patikraja Village.
