This study examines visual distortion, the use of emotional color, and expressive composition in Affandi's painting Self-Portrait Smoking a Pipe (1977), focusing on a systematic and contextual visual hermeneutic reading. The research background stems from the need to update the study of Indonesian expressionism through the integration of contemporary theories on visual perception, color psychology, and gestural analysis. This study aims to reveal how anatomical distortion, color dynamics, and non-linear compositional structures function as expressive strategies that reflect the artist's psychological condition and existential reflections in the final period of his life. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach and visual hermeneutic analysis through observation of digital documentation and a review of recent literature (2020–2025). The findings indicate that the distortion of shapes in the facial area and the finger-swiping gesture represent emotional tension, while the dominance of red, yellow, and green colors forms an affective spectrum that strengthens the psychological atmosphere in the work. The asymmetrical composition with diagonal lines creates a dynamic visual rhythm and directs the viewer's focus to the center of expression. The implications of the research emphasize that Affandi's works need to be read through a multidimensional approach that combines psychological, aesthetic, and hermeneutic aspects in order to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of his expressionist character.

Efforts to realize the implementation of good medical records require supporting elements in the form of medical record folders with a design that meets standards. Medical record folders protect patient documents and simplify the process of identifying, storing, and managing health data. Based on the results of observations at the UMSIDA Physiotherapy Clinic, the medical record folder used is still simple, only made of ordinary paper without a logo, name, clinic address, or columns for writing patient identity and medical record number. This condition has the potential to cause obstacles in the administration and security of patient data. The purpose of this research is to redesign (redesign) medical record folders based on anatomical, physical, and content aspects to make them more professional and functional. The methods used include needs analysis through interviews with users, evaluation of old designs, and the creation of new designs. The redesign was carried out by adding heading elements in the form of the name and address of the clinic, introduction in the form title or medical record folder, and instructions in the form of the text "Confidential Documents." On the body, the patient's identity is contained such as full name and medical record number. From the physical aspect, the folder is designed in the form of a portrait with a size of 21.5 cm × 33.0 cm, using white 260 grams of ivory paper with a blue background. Meanwhile, the content aspects include the identity of the health service facility, the writing "Confidential Document," the patient's name, medical record number, and year of visit. The results of the study concluded that the redesign of the medical record folder has met the anatomical, physical, and content standards needed to support more organized health services.

This paper examines how The Picture Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde marks a critical turn in which he critiques late-Victorian upper-class privilege and moral immunity. While previous scholarship has predominantly analyzed the novel as a moral allegory or aesthetic treatise, this study employs cultural materialism as a theoretical framework to demonstrate how Wilde uses Dorian’s isolation of his portrait and subsequent hedonistic experimentation as symbolic representations of the aristocracy’s ability to shield him from moral and social consequences. Wilde’s text reveals how the English aristocracy could embody ideals of beauty and reap princely treatment while committing debauchery without reproach. Through Culler’s close reading method toward this novel, especially chapters eight and nine, this analysis reveals how Dorian’s act of hiding the portrait symbolizes social denial, while his obsessive aesthetic consumption reflects the practices of the leisure class. This shows that Wilde hints Dorian’s social circle accepts his sensual life simply because his appearance remains unmarred–a commentary on class privilege. By examining the specific textual elements and historical context of—especially—chapters eight and nine of this novel, this study contributes to the understanding of how Wilde’s novel serves as both a product of and commentary on the class structures and moral hypocrisy of late-Victorian England.

Nonlinear dynamical systems represent a fundamental area of study in applied mathematics due to their relevance across various disciplines, including physics, biology, and engineering. Their inherent complexity, characterized by phenomena such as bifurcation, chaos, and sensitivity to parameter variations, often limits the effectiveness of traditional manual analysis, particularly when addressing high-dimensional or computationally intensive models. This study aims to address these challenges by applying computational modeling and numerical simulation techniques to analyze the stability of nonlinear dynamical systems. The research employs analytical methods, including equilibrium point identification and linearization, which are then validated and extended through the fourth-order Runge-Kutta numerical method. Simulations were conducted to visualize equilibrium points, phase portraits, and parameter-driven bifurcation phenomena. The findings demonstrate a strong correspondence between analytical and numerical approaches, with minimal error margins (≤1%) observed in equilibrium point estimation, thus confirming the reliability of computational methods. Moreover, the bifurcation analysis revealed critical transitions such as pitchfork and Hopf bifurcations, which indicate sudden shifts from stability to instability behaviors that are difficult to capture through manual calculations alone. The integration of computational approaches provides clear advantages, offering systematic exploration of parameter spaces and detailed visualizations of system dynamics, thereby expanding the scope of stability analysis. In conclusion, this study emphasizes that computational modeling is not only an effective complement to analytical methods but also a necessary strategy for advancing the understanding of nonlinear dynamical systems in applied mathematics.

The purpose of this research is to find out Al-Shatibi's fatwa perspective. This research uses a type of library research. The research carried out is descriptive in nature where the researcher collects words instead of a series of numbers for this research, which in essence these words can provide an overview or present existing problems and solutions. The data analysis used is content analysis. A fatwa is a response to a question asked by a fatwa seeker (mustafti>). Whether questions are asked by individuals, institutions or collectives. In general, fatwas are issued in response to questions about current shari'ah problems. The legal basis (the arguments for the enactment of a fatwa are as stated in the Qur'an). The position of a fatwa in the Islamic legal system is very important considering that social problems are increasing day by day and becoming more complex. Moreover, a fatwa is an explanation of sharia law for certain problems which are not all people can understand it. The ways to give fatwa according to al-Shatibi are divided into three: a). With the words (bi al-Qaul)., b). By deeds (bi al-Fi'il), c). and determination (bi al-Iqrar). As for determining a fatwa with words, this is the model of determining that is considered the most widely used. by a mufti>. Meanwhile, determining a fatwa by deeds occupies the position of the model of determining a fatwa by words because this second model is an explanation (al-Mus}}rih} of the first model of determining a fatwa. The concept of al-Sha>tabi>'s fatwa is a theory that was born in his time with a portrait of life that is of course different from today. Therefore, there are three things which – according to researchers – still leave "records" that need to be studied more deeply, namely al-d}aru>riyya>t al-khams, al-istiqra>' al-ma'nawi>, changes fatwa and its understanding of heresy
