Akuntansi dan Ekonomi Pajak: Perspektif Global 2026 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

This study aims to determine the effect of tax planning and capital structure on firm value, with firm size as a moderator. The population in this study is all non-cyclical consumer companies in the food and beverage subsector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2020-2024 period. The type of research used in this study is quantitative associative with secondary data. The research sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique. Based on this technique, 24 companies were obtained that met certain criteria. The panel data regression technique used in this study is the Random Effect Model. Testing of panel data regression and moderation regression uses the E=views 13 application. The results of this study indicate that tax planning partially has no effect on firm value, while capital structure does affect firm value. The results simultaneously show that tax planning and capital structure affect firm value. The results of this study also indicate that firm size weakens the relationship between tax planning and firm value, and firm size is also unable to moderate or weaken the relationship between capital structure and firm value.

Akuntansi dan Ekonomi Pajak: Perspektif Global 2026 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

This study examines how solvency, profitability, liquidity, and operating costs are affected by book-tax differences (BTD) among property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2022 to 2024. One key indicator of financial reporting transparency is BTD, which reflects the difference between accounting and taxable income. This is particularly relevant for the property sector, which contributes Rp185 trillion to national tax revenue. The results of the study, conducted using the Random Effects Model panel data regression method with 93 observations from 31 companies, show that solvency (DER) has a significant effect on BTD, while profitability (ROA) also has a significant effect, indicating that companies with high profits tend to engage in more aggressive tax planning practices and financial reporting strategies. On the other hand, liquidity and operating costs do not have a significant impact on corporate tax reporting behavior. 98% of the variation in BTD can be explained by the model.

Amid intense market competition, the profitability of manufacturing companies is not solely determined by sales volume but is highly dependent on the precision of financial management, particularly in managing the working capital cycle and operating cash flow circulation. This study aims to evaluate the relationship between Working Capital Turnover (X1) and Operating Cash Flow (X2) on Profitability (Y) in consumer goods industry companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2022–2024 period. Using a quantitative approach and multiple linear regression analysis, this study processes 77 observations that have passed purposive sampling and outlier testing. The partial test results reveal contrasting findings: Working Capital Turnover (X1) does not have a significant effect on profitability, while Operating Cash Flow (X2) is proven to be a strong positive determinant. However, simultaneously, both variables have a significant influence on the financial performance of companies (Fhitung 24,008 > Ftabel 3,08), with operating cash flow acting as the dominant driving factor of profit. The implications of these findings emphasize that to maintain profit stability, management should prioritize the availability of cash generated from core operations, while investors should be more attentive to cash flow trends as an indicator of fundamental financial health before making investment decisions.

This study was conducted to evaluate the impact of financial performance, capital structure, and good corporate governance on entities. The approach used is quantitative with a causal associative method. The research observations utilize secondary data sourced from the financial statements of entities listed on the stock exchange during the 2020–2023 period. The research sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique based on predefined criteria, totaling 160 observations. The analytical method employed is multiple linear regression, preceded by classical assumption tests. The results reveal that financial performance and good corporate governance have a positive and significant effect on the quality of financial statements, while capital structure has a significant negative effect. Simultaneously, the three independent variables are proven to significantly affect the quality of financial statements, with a coefficient of determination of 68%. These findings support agency theory and signaling theory in explaining the financial reporting behavior of entities. The implications of this study indicate that improving financial performance and implementing good corporate governance can enhance the quality of financial statements. Furthermore, optimal management of capital structure is also necessary to reduce the risk of financial statement manipulation.

Investment decisions in pharmaceutical manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) are influenced by fundamental analysis and stock price fluctuations. Stock prices reflect market perceptions shaped by profitability, liquidity, and capital structure. This study examines the effects of Return on Assets (ROA), Current Ratio (CR), and Debt-to-Equity Ratio (DER) on stock prices, both partially and simultaneously. Using a quantitative approach, the study analyzes secondary data from audited financial statements and stock prices of 12 pharmaceutical companies during 2022–2024, totaling 36 observations. Panel data regression with EViews 12 is applied. Results show that ROA and DER have positive and significant effects on stock prices, while CR has a negative but insignificant effect. Simultaneously, all three variables significantly influence stock prices, with an adjusted R² of 73%, indicating strong explanatory power. Profitability (ROA) is the most influential factor, followed by capital structure (DER), while liquidity (CR) shows no significant impact.

This research focuses on examining the relationship between environmental accounting practices and firm value creation, considering the role of profitability as an intermediary mechanism. The study was conducted on companies in the basic and chemical industry subsectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2020–2024 period. Green Accounting in this study is represented through environmental cost disclosure, while firm value is proxied by Price to Book Value (PBV), and profitability is measured by Return on Equity (ROE). The analysis used a panel data regression approach, complemented by a mediation test using the Sobel test. Empirical results indicate that the implementation of Green Accounting has not had a significant impact on profitability or firm value. Conversely, profitability has been shown to have a positive and significant relationship with firm value. Furthermore, the mediation test indicates that profitability plays no role in channeling the influence of Green Accounting on firm value. These findings lead to the interpretation that Green Accounting practices in the studied sectors still reflect regulatory compliance and efforts to gain social legitimacy rather than a strategy to increase short-term economic value.

The assessment of a company's value is crucial for investors to identify its prospects and performance. Financial ratios such as the Current Ratio (CR) and Return on Assets (ROA) are used to analyze factors affecting the company's value. This study aims to analyze the impact of CR and ROA on company value in manufacturing companies within the Miscellaneous Industries sub-sector for the period 2015–2024. The study uses a quantitative approach with data from annual financial reports of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data analysis is conducted using panel data regression with the Random Effect Model (REM) as the best model. The dependent variable is company value, measured by Price to Book Value (PBV), while the independent variables consist of CR and ROA. The results show that CR does not have a significant effect on company value, while ROA significantly affects company value. Simultaneously, CR and ROA are proven to significantly affect company value, indicating that the combination of liquidity and profitability plays an important role in explaining PBV variations. This finding suggests that investors pay more attention to profitability than liquidity in the Miscellaneous Industries sector.

In the investment world, stock returns are the leading indicator of a company’s performance and the basis for investor decision-making in the capital market. Fluctuations in stock returns reflect market expectations of the company’s prospects. The retail sector in Indonesia is facing significant pressure from post-pandemic shifts in consumer behavior and increased competition. This study aims to analyze the effect of financial distress, company size, liquidity, operating cash flow, and accounting profit on stock returns in retail sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2021 to 2023. This type of research is causally associated with a quantitative approach. The data used is secondary, in the form of financial statements from retail companies. The sampling technique used was purposive, yielding a total of 39 data points from 13 retail companies. Data testing was carried out using SPSS version 24. The results showed that partially, the variables of financial distress, company size, liquidity, and accounting profit had no significant effect on stock returns. Meanwhile, operating cash flow positively impacts stock returns. These findings indicate that fundamental indicators are not always the main determinants of stock returns. Therefore, investors are advised also to consider external factors such as market sentiment, macroeconomic conditions, and government policies that may have a greater influence on stock performance in the capital market.

This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability, leverage, and liquidity on firm value in food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2020–2024 period. Profitability is measured by Return On Assets (ROA), leverage by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and liquidity by Current Ratio (CR), while firm value is proxied by Price to Book Value (PBV). The study employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. The sample consists of 25 companies selected through purposive sampling, with a total of 125 secondary data observations obtained from annual financial statements. The results indicate that, partially, profitability, financial risk, and liquidity have a positive and significant effect on firm value. Simultaneously, the three independent variables also significantly affect firm value, with an adjusted R² of 43.4%, meaning that 56.6% of the variation in firm value is explained by other factors outside the model. These findings support agency theory and signaling theory, which suggest that strong financial performance, optimal debt management, and adequate liquidity provide positive signals to investors, thereby enhancing firm value.

This study examines how company size, asset growth, tangibility, leverage, and total asset turnover affect profitability in consumer manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019 to 2023, using secondary data collected via purposive sampling. The independent variables in this study include the natural logarithm of total assets, asset growth (this year’s total assets relative to the previous year), and tangibility (the fixed asset ratio to total assets). Leverage uses the debt-to-asset ratio, and total asset turnover uses the total asset turnover ratio, while the dependent variable of profitability uses return on assets. Of the 108 companies in the population, 19 that met the research sample criteria were selected, yielding 95 observations. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression, accompanied by classical assumption tests and hypothesis testing through F-tests and t-tests. The findings of this study reveal that asset growth has a significant positive effect on profitability, while leverage shows a significant negative effect. However, firm size, tangibility, and total asset turnover do not exhibit significant relationships with profitability. This study contributes both theoretically and practically to understanding the internal determinants of financial performance in the consumer sector and serves as a reference for management.

This study aims to analyze inventory control of catfish seeds at ABC Company by comparing the conventional inventory method represented by the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) approach and the Just In Time (JIT) system in order to improve cost efficiency. This research employed a descriptive quantitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through direct observation, semi-structured interviews with company management, and documentation of inventory and cost records for the 2024 operational period. The analysis method involved calculating optimal order quantities, ordering frequency, delivery frequency, and total inventory costs using EOQ and JIT formulas, followed by a comparative cost efficiency analysis. The results show that the conventional method resulted in a total inventory cost of Rp 75,050,000 per year with high ordering frequency. In contrast, the implementation of the JIT system reduced inventory costs to Rp 18,762,500 per year, achieving a cost efficiency of 72%. These findings indicate that the JIT system is more cost-efficient than the conventional method; however, its implementation requires careful consideration of supplier capacity, logistics readiness, and biological risks associated with live inventory. This study contributes empirical evidence on the applicability of JIT in the aquaculture sector, which has different characteristics from manufacturing industries.

Akuntansi dan Ekonomi Pajak: Perspektif Global 2025 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

This study aims to assess the effect of PSAK 57 implementation on the quality of financial statements in Indonesian public companies. PSAK 57 is significant because it facilitates the presentation of uncertain liabilities and assets in an honest, relevant, and transparent manner, which ultimately strengthens stakeholder confidence in these financial statements. This study applies a descriptive quantitative approach using secondary data, namely annual reports and financial statements from public companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) within a certain period. The evaluation was conducted to measure the degree of compliance with PSAK 57 and its relationship with financial statement quality parameters, such as relevance, reliability, and comparability. The research findings indicate that the implementation of PSAK 57 has a positive impact on the quality of financial statements, as entities that consistently adopt this standard demonstrate higher levels of transparency and accountability. This conclusion conveys a crucial message to practitioners and regulators to continue to deepen their understanding and implementation of PSAK 57 in order to strengthen the quality and integrity of financial reporting in Indonesia.

The size of the company as a moderator in defining the correlation between capital structure, profit, and firm value is the focus of this study. Adopting a quantitative associative approach, this research focuses on the non-cyclical consumer sector registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2020–2023. Of the 125 companies, 73 were purposively selected to create the research sample, yielding 292 observations after excluding entities with incomplete data and those with special monitoring status. The authors gathered secondary data from audited yearly financial reports through the IDX portal and corporate websites. The analysis used quasi-moderation techniques by combining independent variables, moderation, and interaction in a single regression model, processed through EViews 13. The research results show that capital structure has a significant positive impact on firm value, while profitability has no significant impact. Firm size has been shown to affect the relationship that exists between capital structure and firm value, but it does not moderate the association between profitability and firm value. These findings confirm that leverage’s effectiveness in increasing firm value is independent of company size and that profitability is not a primary determinant in this context. This research provides empirical evidence to advance capital structure theory and to inform executives’ strategic financial decisions and investors’ evaluations of corporate outlooks.

This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability, liquidity, and asset structure on the capital structure of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019–2023 period, with firm size as a moderating variable. The research employs a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from financial statements. The sample was determined through a purposive sampling technique, resulting in 27 banking companies that met the criteria. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The results reveal that profitability has a negative and significant effect on capital structure, indicating that banks with higher profitability tend to reduce their dependence on external financing. In contrast, liquidity and asset structure do not have a significant effect on capital structure, suggesting that these factors are less influential in determining debt policy within the banking sector. Furthermore, the MRA results demonstrate that firm size moderates the relationship between profitability and capital structure, implying that larger firms can better manage internal funds to reduce leverage. However, firm size does not moderate the effects of liquidity and asset structure on capital structure. These findings contribute to understanding capital structure determinants in the Indonesian banking industry.
