This study aims to analyze how digital transparency, distribution validation, and personalized donor services simultaneously maintain donor trust and loyalty as strategies to mitigate liquidity risk and ensure program sustainability at LAZIS Alharomain Pare Kediri Branch. Using a qualitative descriptive–analytical approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving management, donors, and beneficiaries. The findings reveal a paradox between the increasing number of donors—from 5,644 in 2020 to 7,955 in 2023—and the financial deficit observed in key programs such as Infaq Sayangi Anak Yatim Dhuafa and Infaq Sahabat Sehat. To address this, the institution implemented three main strategies: real-time digital reporting via social media, multi-layered verification in fund distribution, and personalized communication with donors. These strategies form a trust–loyalty–participation cycle that strengthens program continuity. Theoretical analysis based on Trust Theory and liquidity risk management for zakat institutions shows that public trust functions as a form of social capital capable of compensating for short-term financial liquidity gaps. This study extends the discourse on Sustainable Islamic Philanthropy Governance by asserting that digital transparency serves as both an ethical and strategic instrument to uphold accountability and the sustainability of Islamic philanthropic institutions.

This study aims to explore the integration of financial literacy into context-based mathematics education at the elementary school level by emphasizing the use of local knowledge in learning activities. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, this research investigates the experiences and perceptions of students and teachers involved in mathematics learning that connects mathematical concepts with real-life financial situations, such as budgeting, saving, and personal financial management. Data were collected through interviews, classroom observations, and documentation analysis to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the learning process and its outcomes. The findings indicate that integrating financial literacy into context-based mathematics learning enhances the relevance of mathematical content and facilitates students’ conceptual understanding. Students reported increased interest and engagement in mathematics lessons, as well as greater confidence in applying mathematical skills to manage personal finances. The use of familiar financial contexts enabled students to perceive mathematics as meaningful and applicable to their daily lives. Teachers identified limited instructional time and difficulties in explaining abstract concepts as key obstacles in the implementation process. Overall, the results suggest that context-based mathematics learning integrated with financial literacy has strong potential to improve students’ mathematical understanding and financial awareness while fostering practical life skills. Nevertheless, effective implementation requires careful instructional planning, adequate time allocation, and appropriate pedagogical strategies to address complex financial concepts. This study contributes to the growing body of research on contextualized mathematics education by highlighting the importance of integrating local context and financial literacy to enhance the quality and relevance of elementary mathematics education.

This study explores the implementation of sustainable accounting practices in the management of Pasir Panjang coastal tourism by examining how local cultural values and community personality influence sustainability-driven decisions. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, field observations, and documentation analysis involving local community members, tourism actors, and village government representatives. The findings indicate that sustainable accounting is not only understood as an administrative or financial reporting system, but also as a framework shaped by cultural norms, collective identity, and local wisdom. Elements such as communal responsibility, environmental awareness, and traditional stewardship practices significantly contribute to how sustainability initiatives are planned, recorded, and evaluated. Furthermore, the personality traits of the local community—such as openness, cooperation, and strong social cohesion—play an essential role in ensuring inclusive participation and shared accountability. This study concludes that integrating cultural values and community character enhances the effectiveness of sustainable accounting practices in coastal tourism management and encourages long-term environmental and socio-economic resilience.

This study examines how ethical leadership is implemented at Kopdit Bintang Timur, a credit union in Sikka Regency, to shape an organizational culture of integrity. Employing a descriptive narrative method with interview and observation techniques targeting managers and deputy managers, this research finds that ethical values such as honesty, fairness, and mutual cooperation are instilled through leader role modeling, transparent financial management, and active member participation. Key challenges include the difficulty of maintaining ethics amidst personal interests; however, routine oversight systems and fair complaint handling help to maintain integrity. The results indicate that ethical leadership contributes to member trust and organizational sustainability. Recommendations for development include formal ethics training programs and the utilization of technology to enhance transparency.

Kajian Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Terapan 2025 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Economic Entity Principle in the micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) Kedai Kita, which still relies on a simple financial recording system. The principle emphasizes the importance of separating personal and business finances to ensure that financial statements accurately and objectively reflect the entity's economic condition. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach through direct interviews with the business owner to gain an in-depth understanding of the financial management practices implemented. The findings indicate that the application of the Economic Entity Principle at Kedai Kita has not been fully realized, as evidenced by the ongoing mixing of personal and business funds, the absence of a formal bookkeeping system, and inconsistent recording of cash flows and expenditures. The main factors hindering the implementation of this principle include limited accounting literacy, lack of time for bookkeeping, and the absence of a structured accounting system. Nevertheless, the business owner has begun to recognize the importance of separating finances as a foundation for more accountable business management. These findings imply the need for the adoption of simple recording applications, the provision of basic accounting training, and increased understanding among MSME actors regarding the benefits of structured financial statements. This study provides practical contributions for other MSMEs by demonstrating that the implementation of the Economic Entity Principle is a fundamental step in enhancing financial transparency and accountability, as well as strengthening opportunities for access to formal financing.

Consumptive behavior refers to the tendency of individuals to purchase goods or services excessively, driven not by need but by the desire for personal satisfaction. University students are particularly vulnerable to such behavior, especially given the ease of access to e-commerce platforms and limitations in personal financial management. Pocket money received and students’ level of financial literacy are key factors shaping their consumption patterns. This study analyzes the effects of e-commerce, pocket money, and financial literacy on the consumptive behavior of undergraduate students in the Development Economics Study Program at Udayana University. A quantitative approach was employed, using a survey of 90 respondents selected through stratified random sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that, jointly, e-commerce, pocket money, and financial literacy significantly affect students’ consumptive behavior. Partially, e-commerce and pocket money have positive effects, whereas financial literacy has a negative effect. This indicates that higher financial literacy reduces the tendency toward consumptive behavior.

This study aims to analyze the relationship between online shopping activities and personal financial management among university students in Indonesia. The background of this research lies in the increasing digitalization of daily consumption, which has encouraged students to engage more actively in e-commerce transactions. Using a quantitative correlational design, data were collected from 100 undergraduate students through an online questionnaire based on Likert-scale indicators. The independent variables consist of buyer characteristics (age, gender, and income sources) and online shopping activities (frequency, spending amount, and shopping motivation). Meanwhile, personal financial management is measured through financial planning and spending control. The findings show that students demonstrate very high levels of online shopping activity and acknowledge the strong influence of demographic factors on their consumption behavior. Descriptive analysis also indicates high scores for financial planning and spending control, although intensive online shopping remains a potential risk to financial stability. The implications of this study highlight the need to strengthen financial literacy among students to help them develop healthier budgeting habits and reduce impulsive buying driven by digital platforms. This research is expected to contribute to the understanding of digital consumer behavior and support the development of financial education programs for young adults.

This study aims to analyze the SWOT of the application of the Quick Response Indonesian Standard (QRIS) in deepening the understanding of financial management in micro business actors in the food sector in Tropodo, Sidoarjo. The method used is qualitative descriptive with case studies, through in-depth interviews with five business actors who have adopted QRIS. The data was analyzed using source triangulation to ensure the validity of the findings. The results of the study show that QRIS provides strength in the form of ease of transactions, automatic recording, cash flow transparency, and increased consumer competitiveness. Weaknesses that arise include delays in disbursement of funds, deduction fees, mixing business funds with personal funds, and lack of understanding of advanced features. From the external side, opportunities are reflected in the trend of cashless society, digital financial literacy, integration with supporting applications, and the expansion of the cashless payment ecosystem. Meanwhile, threats include network disruptions, security risks, reliance on service providers, and potential data leaks. Overall, QRIS not only acts as a means of payment, but also as a strategic instrument for MSME financial governance. Therefore, it is important to increase financial literacy and infrastructure support so that the benefits of QRIS can be optimized.

This community service program aims to improve the accountability and financial management capabilities of small businesses through the implementation of simple bookkeeping based on Excel templates at the Permata Chips MSME in Sentang Village, Asahan Regency. The main problems faced by partners were the lack of a transaction recording system, the mixing of business and personal finances, and the lack of financial reports that could be used to evaluate business performance. Through counseling, training, and technical assistance, this program succeeded in improving partners' financial literacy in preparing Excel-based Daily Cash Books, Profit and Loss Reports, Cash Flow Reports, and Balance Sheets. The results of the activity showed significant changes, where partners were able to record transactions systematically, document transaction evidence, and separate personal and business finances. The implementation of this bookkeeping became the basis for business decision-making and opened up opportunities for access to capital. The main problem faced by MA Al Ulya Al Mubarok is the low level of financial literacy and the lack of understanding of the importance of early investment. Most students still perceive saving as the only form of financial management without recognizing the potential for asset growth through safe and well-planned investments. The absence of practical education on personal financial management and limited access to learning resources about investment are the main barriers to developing intelligent and future-oriented financial behavior. As a solution, this community service program is designed to improve financial literacy and foster investment intention among students. The program will be implemented through several stages of activities, including: needs and baseline analysis of students, development of a contextual-based financial literacy module, interactive socialization and training on the basic concepts of saving, personal financial management, and introduction to investment. The expected outcomes of this program include: an increase in students’ financial literacy level by at least 30% based on pre-test and post-test results, the initiation of a student investment awareness community, and the creation of a financial literacy learning module that can be used sustainably by the school. This community service program is expected to serve as a model for financial literacy development in secondary education institutions while supporting national efforts to build a financially literate, independent, and future-oriented young generation.

The low level of financial literacy among students, especially Generation Z, has become a serious concern that requires solutions to face the increasingly complex challenges of the modern economy. Many students still do not fully understand the importance of financial management and continue to exhibit high consumer behavior due to the lack of financial education provided from an early age. This community service activity aims to enhance students' understanding of the importance of financial literacy through the habit of saving, which can be started at a young age as a form of simple yet highly effective financial management. The methods used in this activity include interactive lectures, pocket money management simulations, group discussions, and educational quizzes designed to increase students' active participation. The results of the activity show an increase in students' awareness of the importance of saving, as well as their ability to manage personal finances in a more directed, wise, and responsible manner in everyday life. This shows that financial education based on saving habits can help students achieve better financial management in the future.

Fraud is an unlawful act characterized by intentional misconduct, malicious intent, manipulation, concealment, and abuse of trust, deliberately committed by individuals or groups to gain personal benefits. Financial statement fraud can result from various factors such as weak internal control systems, financial pressures, and organizational culture. This study focuses on understanding the factors influencing the occurrence of financial statement fraud in rural banks (BPR) in Denpasar City. A total of 204 respondents from 22 BPRs were selected using purposive sampling. The study reveals that internal control systems do not have a significant effect on the tendency to commit financial statement fraud. However, financial pressure was found to have a positive and significant impact on the likelihood of financial statement fraud, suggesting that employees or management under financial strain may resort to fraudulent activities. On the other hand, organizational culture, characterized by ethical practices and strong values, showed a negative and significant effect, indicating that a strong ethical culture helps reduce fraudulent behavior in BPR

Profitability is a key indicator in assessing a company’s financial performance, particularly in the personal care industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This study aims to analyze the effect of Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on profitability as measured by Net Profit Margin (NPM). The research employed a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis based on the financial statements of personal care companies for the 2021–2024 period. The findings reveal that ROA has a positive and significant effect on NPM, indicating that the more efficiently a company manages its assets, the higher the net profit margin achieved. Meanwhile, ROE and DER show no significant effect on NPM, implying that shareholder equity returns and debt utilization in the capital structure have not directly enhanced net profitability. These results suggest that optimal asset management is a crucial factor in improving the financial performance of personal care companies.
