Digital technology has, in many ways, altered the manner in which businesses function. This transformation touches on aspects like how products are developed, delivered, and sold. It opens up a range of possibilities for business owners to broaden their markets, boost profits, and make better use of online tools. At the same time, however, the digital age introduces certain difficulties. These include increased competition as well as risks related to practices that may conflict with sharia law—for example, charging interest, engaging in transactions with unclear risks, or producing counterfeit goods. The focus of this study is to examine the opportunities and challenges that businesses encounter in today’s digital world, viewed through an Islamic lens. The approach taken involves a review of existing literature, drawing from various sources dealing with digital commerce and Islamic economic principles. The results suggest that digital business ventures hold considerable promise, provided they are conducted with honesty, fairness, and transparency, while avoiding activities disallowed by sharia. This way, entrepreneurs can not only generate income but also develop their enterprises in a way that aligns with ethical and religious values.

Economic independence for Islamic boarding school graduates remains a challenge amidst competitive job market. This community service (PkM) aims to increase the motivation and insight of female students (santriwati) regarding business opportunities in the service sector as an entrepreneurship alternative without requiring significant capital. The main problem faced by the partners in Baturaja was limited business literacy and the perception that entrepreneurship necessitates physical products. The method employed was socialization through interactive lectures, group discussions, and sharing sessions with academics. The results of the activity indicated a significant increase in entrepreneurial motivation among the students, with 85% of participants now expressing interest in starting service-based businesses such as education, design, or digital services. Furthermore, the participants' understanding of practical steps to initiate a business increased substantially. This activity successfully shifted the students' mindset to become more innovative and independent in facing economic challenges post-boarding school education.

The rapid development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the business landscape, transforming how products are marketed, services are delivered, and business relationships are built. In this context, students, as future members of the workforce and potential entrepreneurs, are required to possess strong digital literacy skills in order to effectively face challenges and seize emerging business opportunities. This study aims to analyze the importance of digital literacy in supporting students’ readiness to respond to future business trends. The research employed a descriptive approach using a literature review and observations of the entrepreneurship learning process in vocational schools. The findings indicate that digital literacy plays a crucial role in enhancing students’ creativity, adaptability, and ability to utilize digital platforms for online marketing, branding, and business communication. Furthermore, digital literacy helps students understand market dynamics, analyze consumer behavior, and adopt innovative business models that align with technological developments. Students with adequate digital literacy are better prepared to face rapid changes in the business environment and demonstrate higher confidence in applying technology to entrepreneurial activities. In conclusion, the integration of digital literacy into entrepreneurship education is essential to produce competitive, innovative, and adaptable graduates who are capable of thriving in the digital era and contributing to sustainable economic development.

This study aims to analyze the influence of terminal users’ perceptions on business development opportunities at Mangkang Type A Terminal, Semarang City, managed by the Central Java Class I Transportation Management Agency (BPTD). As a major transportation hub, the terminal functions not only as a passenger transit point but also as a strategic economic area with potential for commercial facility development. However, the utilization of business opportunities at Mangkang Terminal remains suboptimal, necessitating an evidence-based analysis of the factors that shape these opportunities. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survey method involving terminal users, including passengers, public transport drivers, and terminal visitors. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through multiple linear regression to examine the influence of user perceptions on business potential, which includes interest in facility usage, demand for additional services, and preferences for commercial space utilization. The findings indicate that perceptions related to comfort, safety, cleanliness, accessibility, and service quality significantly affect business development opportunities. Comfort and service quality emerge as the most dominant factors driving user interest in commercial facilities. These results emphasize that improving terminal service quality can serve as an effective strategy to expand business opportunities and enhance non-tax revenue.

Program pengabdian ini menjawab kesenjangan kapasitas UMKM di Desa Plelen sebagai desa penyangga Kawasan Industri Terpadu Batang (KITB), khususnya pada aspek kualitas produk, keterampilan manajerial, dan kelembagaan ekonomi masyarakat. Tujuan utama kegiatan adalah meningkatkan kesiapan UMKM dalam memanfaatkan peluang ekonomi industri melalui: (1) peningkatan kualitas produk dan kemasan; (2) pelatihan manajemen usaha dan penyusunan business plan; serta (3) fasilitasi pembentukan Koperasi Merah Putih sebagai wadah ekonomi kolektif. Pendekatan Pembelajaran Berbasis Partisipatif diterapkan untuk memastikan keterlibatan masyarakat dalam seluruh tahapan program. Hasil pendampingan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada diversifikasi produk, standar higienitas produksi, literasi bisnis, serta terbentuknya koperasi yang berfungsi mendukung pemasaran dan keberlanjutan usaha. Dengan demikian, model pemberdayaan terintegrasi yang menguatkan aspek teknis, manajerial, dan kelembagaan terbukti efektif dalam mempersiapkan desa penyangga menuju transformasi sosial-ekonomi yang inklusif dan adaptif terhadap industrialisasi.

UMKM berperan penting dalam perekonomian Indonesia, namun menghadapi kendala akses informasi dan pembiayaan. Sosialisasi sertifikasi halal di Kelurahan Karangrejo oleh Fakultas Hukum Untag Semarang dan Kemenag bertujuan meningkatkan daya saing UMKM melalui pemahaman regulasi halal dan membuka peluang pasar yang lebih luas. Program  pengabdian masyarakat bertujuan mengetaui pelaksanaan sosialisasi sertifikasi produk halal bagi pelaku UMKM di Kelurahan Karangrejo, Semarang dan mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh sosialisasi sertifikasi produk halal terhadap peningkatan kepercayaan konsumen terhadap produk UMKM di Kelurahan Karangrejo, Semarang.  Sosialisasi sertifikasi halal di Kelurahan Karangrejo berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan semangat pelaku UMKM dalam mengurus label halal sebagai nilai tambah produk dan strategi pemasaran. Kegiatan ini tidak hanya bersifat informatif, tetapi juga interaktif dan aplikatif, sehingga mendorong pelaku usaha mengambil langkah nyata. Kolaborasi antara Fakultas Hukum Untag, Kementerian Agama, dan UMKM Center memperkuat dampak kegiatan. Keberhasilan ini menciptakan kepercayaan konsumen dan membentuk ekosistem bisnis halal yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan. Sosialisasi ini juga memiliki potensi untuk direplikasi di daerah lain sebagai strategi pemberdayaan ekonomi lokal yang efektif.

In the rapidly evolving digital era, online commerce has become a phenomenon that dominates the business world. One important aspect of the online trade ecosystem is the role of resellers. Online shop resellers have become a vital element that connects producers or product owners with end consumers through digital platforms. Resellers act as intermediaries that bridge the process of product distribution from its source to the hands of consumers. The main issues include marketing competition, unilateral product cancellations by customers, and defective or incorrect items. The research question used by how online shop resellers overcome business competition challenges in the era of digitalization? This research adopts a qualitative approach using field study methods. This research concludes that operating as an online shop reseller involves several risks, and to address these challenges, various improvements can be made in marketing techniques, risk management implementation, and cash flow recording techniques to overcome the ambiguity of profits generated in the online reseller business.

The digital era has brought significant changes to various aspects of human life, including business behavior among the younger generation, especially Generation Z. This generation, which grew up amidst technological advances, has special characteristics, such as high dependence on digital technology, rapid adaptability, and a tendency to take advantage of trends to create business opportunities. This study aims to understand the phenomenon of Generation Z business behavior in the digital era through a qualitative approach with a literature study method. The results of the study show that Generation Z is not only a passive consumer, but also an innovator who utilizes digital platforms to overcome global economic challenges. Using an economic sociology approach, this study explores various social, cultural, and economic factors that influence their business behavior. In addition to offering opportunities, digital transformation also brings challenges in the form of competition between platforms that require adaptive strategies from business actors. This study emphasizes the importance of strategic responses that are in line with Generation Z's values ​​and preferences to achieve sustainability in the modern era.

The spice tea business, as part of the traditional beverage sector, has great potential to be developed as a pioneering entrepreneurship amidst increasing public awareness of a healthy lifestyle and consumption of natural-based products. Opportunities and challenges faced in developing this spice tea business as a form of entrepreneurial innovation based on local traditions. The main opportunities for developing the spice tea business lie in the diversity of spices in Indonesia, market trends that support organic and herbal products, and the potential for export to the global market. In addition, the sustainability of this business can also be improved through flavor innovation, modern packaging, and digital marketing strategies. However, the main challenges faced include limited capital, fluctuations in raw material prices, competition with modern beverage products, and low digital literacy among business actors.

Business disputes are increasing in Indonesia along with the growth of economic relationships. Litigation is often perceived as time-consuming and costly, making Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) a more efficient and relationship-friendly alternative. This study aims to analyze the obstacles and opportunities in implementing ADR for business dispute resolution in Indonesia, based on the legal framework provided by Law Number 30 of 1999. The research employs a normative legal approach with descriptive analysis. Data were collected through literature reviews of legal regulations, academic literature, and journal articles. The findings reveal that although ADR holds significant potential for resolving business disputes efficiently and cost-effectively, its implementation faces several challenges. The primary obstacles include the lack of awareness among business actors about ADR's benefits, the perception that ADR lacks the legal authority compared to litigation, and the limited quality of mediators and arbitrators. The study also highlights the importance of enhancing the capacity of ADR practitioners through continuous training and educating business actors to build trust in this method. By addressing these challenges, ADR is expected to become the primary choice for resolving business disputes, fostering a conducive business environment, and supporting long-term economic growth in Indonesia.

Penelitian ini berfokus pada perancangan strategi bisnis AIF Digital Custom Agency menggunakan kerangka Business Model Canvas (BMC) yang disusun berdasarkan analisis SWOT. Kerangka ini memetakan sembilan elemen utama dalam model bisnis untuk menciptakan strategi yang terintegrasi dan responsif terhadap tantangan pasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengevaluasi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman yang dihadapi oleh AIF Digital Custom Agency. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kekuatan utama bisnis ini terletak pada komunikasi yang efektif dengan pelanggan, penggunaan teknologi desain mutakhir seperti Adobe Creative Suite, serta penawaran harga yang kompetitif. Namun, tantangan yang dihadapi meliputi optimalisasi sumber daya dan perluasan penetrasi pasar. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penerapan BMC memungkinkan AIF Digital Custom Agency untuk meningkatkan daya saing melalui optimalisasi operasional dan pengelolaan hubungan pelanggan yang lebih baik. Rekomendasi diberikan untuk memperkuat strategi pemasaran digital dan meningkatkan efisiensi proses internal, guna mendukung pertumbuhan bisnis yang berkelanjutan di industri desain digital custom.

Bisnis franchise berkembang sangat pesat beberapa tahun terakhir ini membuka peluang bagi masyarakat untuk memajukan perekonomian di Indonesia, peluang tersebut membutuhkan proses, pengaturan dan pembatasan. Bisnis franchise mulai merambah di Indonesia, antara lain bidang perdagangan dan jasa seperti pendidikan, perhotelan dan kesehatan, akan tetapi yang paling banyak diminati terutama bisnis kuliner. Perkembangan bisnis franchise yang banyak diminati oleh para pebisnis di Indonesia adalah brand franchise dari luar negeri, karena brand luar negeri telah dikenal, lebih menjanjikan dari segi bisnis dan lebih memberikan kepastian hukum bagi franchisor maupun franchisee. Salah satu yang sangat penting dalam bisnis franchise adalah perjanjian antara kedua belah pihak yaitu franchisor sebagai pemilik brand dan franchisee sebagai pelaksana dalam perjanjian franchise tersebut. Kedua belah pihak masing-masing mempunyai hak dan kewajiban dalam menjalankan bisnis franchise sehingga terjadi keseimbangan yang tentunya akan menghasilkan bisnis yang luar biasa. Franchisor sebagai pemilik brand atau merek yang sudah mumpuni di bidangnya dan teruji dalam menjalankan bisnisnya memberikan lisensi kepada franchisee untuk menggunakan merek barang atau jasa dalam jangka waktu tertentu dan pembayaran sejumlah uang yang disebut royalty kepada franchisor, dan franchisee berhak untuk mendapatkan standard pengoperasian bisnis yang akan diajarkan oleh franchisor dan memperoleh bimbingan secara terus menerus agar bisnis dapat berjalan dengan baik.

Penelitian ini berfokus dalam merancang kerangka bisnis Stripsy.Space, sebuah bisnis kreatif digital yang menawarkan produk fotostrip personalisasi, dengan memanfaatkan pendekatan Business Model Canvas (BMC). Pendekatan ini memetakan sembilan elemen utama untuk menciptakan strategi bisnis yang terpadu dan dinamis terhadap perubahan pasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengevaluasi model bisnis yang ada serta mengidentifikasi peluang dalam meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, mendorong inovasi produk, dan memperkuat proposisi nilai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan BMC pada Stripsy.Space berhasil meningkatkan daya saing melalui optimalisasi saluran distribusi, pengelolaan hubungan pelanggan, dan diversifikasi produk. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu dengan mengimplementasi BMC dapat menjadi panduan strategis yang efektif dalam pengambilan keputusan bisnis, sekaligus memperkuat posisi kompetitif Stripsy.Space di pasar bisnis kreatif digital. Rekomendasi diberikan untuk memperkuat strategi pemasaran digital dan menambah variasi produk untuk memperluas jangkauan pasar.

Bisnis kreatif digital mengalami pertumbuhan yang signifikan dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, terutama pada produk stiker kustom yang memenuhi kebutuhan personal dan promosi. Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan Business Model Canvas (BMC) pada bisnis kreatif digital yang berfokus pada stiker kustom. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengeksplorasi sembilan elemen BMC, termasuk segmen pelanggan, proposisi nilai, dan saluran distribusi. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa BMC mempermudah identifikasi peluang inovasi, efisiensi operasional, dan strategi keterlibatan pelanggan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dengan menawarkan rekomendasi praktis bagi pelaku usaha untuk mengoptimalkan model bisnis mereka dan tetap kompetitif di industri kreatif digital.

Along with the times and advances in technology, entrepreneurship has become an important pillar in economic growth. Entrepreneurship not only creates jobs, but also utilizes existing natural resources effectively. However, many people fail in starting a business because of the wrong mindset, a sense of personal limitations, and an inability to adapt to changing times. This article discusses the importance of having the right mindset, or mindset, in running a business. A growth mindset, which describes the belief that intelligence and skills can develop through effort and experience, is considered essential for entrepreneurial success. Meanwhile, a fixed mindset that views ability as something that is fixed can hinder progress. A positive and optimistic mindset is a key factor in facing entrepreneurial challenges. Entrepreneurs who think positively tend to see difficulties as opportunities to learn and grow, while those who are optimistic have higher motivation and are more resistant to pressure. Apart from that, creativity and innovation are aspects that are no less important, because entrepreneurs must be able to create products or services that can meet market needs and adapt to changes. Entrepreneurship also requires mental perseverance to face failure and unexpected challenges. A successful entrepreneur must have a tenacious, creative, hardworking attitude and dare to take risks. With a combination of these traits, entrepreneurs can achieve long-term success in their businesses. This article emphasizes that the right mindset, coupled with an innovative attitude and perseverance, greatly influences the journey and success of an entrepreneur.

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi adaptasi pasar terhadap tren makanan viral yang awalnya populer di Jawa dan kemudian diadopsi oleh usaha kecil di Banjarmasin, Kalimantan Selatan. Fenomena adopsi tren yang tertunda ini menghadirkan peluang bisnis bagi pengusaha kuliner lokal yang ingin menarik konsumen dengan produk yang telah terbukti laris di pasar. Pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif digunakan untuk menyelidiki faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi adaptasi pasar, strategi bisnis yang diterapkan, serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam mengadopsi tren viral tersebut. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan pemilik usaha kuliner di Banjarmasin, observasi lapangan untuk memahami perilaku konsumen, serta analisis dokumen dan media sosial untuk melacak penyebaran tren. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa adaptasi terhadap tren dipengaruhi oleh keterlambatan informasi, preferensi konsumen lokal, dan modal sosial. Para pengusaha lokal melihat keterlambatan ini sebagai peluang untuk mengurangi risiko investasi, meskipun tantangan tetap ada dalam hal orisinalitas produk dan mempertahankan minat konsumen.

This outreach activity aims to educate the LMDH Wana Lestari regarding product innovation that can be used as a business opportunity through outreach about the potential, health and business opportunities of black sugar cane. Black sugar cane (Saccharum officinarum) has many benefits that are not widely known by the public, including health benefits and economic value. The method used in this research includes several stages as follows: 1) Preparation and development stages, 2) Activity implementation stages, 3) Evaluation and monitoring stages. The results of the research show that the outreach carried out was successful in increasing public understanding of the benefits of black sugar cane, both in terms of health and business opportunities. People are becoming more motivated to cultivate black sugar cane as an alternative source of income. It is hoped that the implementation of this program can contribute to improving the welfare of the LMDH Wana Lestari community in a sustainable manner.
