Digital technology significantly impacts children's concentration. While educational apps and structured media positively influence cognitive development, learning motivation, memory, and problem-solving skills, excessive, uncontrolled use leads to negative effects. These include decreased concentration, language development issues, and dependence on devices, hindering creativity and independence. Rapid, responsive technological interactions accustom children to instant stimuli, making sustained attention difficult. Intense screen exposure can cause impulsivity, distractibility, and reduced focus. Therefore, adaptive and technology-aware parenting is crucial. Parental supervision, balanced integration, and time limits on device usage are essential to maximize benefits and minimize adverse effects on children's concentration and overall development

The utilization of technology to support parenting is a strategic approach to address the challenges of the digital era. This community service program aims to educate and train parents on the use of the Family Link application as a tool to limit children's gadget use. The implementation methods include socialization sessions, application demonstrations, and hands-on assistance for participants. The results indicate an increase in parents' understanding of the importance of managing screen time and controlling access to age-appropriate digital content. Furthermore, participants were able to independently apply Family Link features such as daily time limits, app restrictions, and activity monitoring. This program provides tangible contributions in promoting technology-based parenting that fosters healthy and balanced child development. However, sustaining the benefits requires active parental involvement and strengthened digital literacy within the family environment.

The phenomenon f fatherly parenting plays a vital role in shaping the emotional and social experiences of daughters, particularly in forming romantic relationships. The role of fathers is often overlooked in parenting, even though it significantly influences the development of a daughter's personality and interpersonal relationships. Fathers who are emotionally involved can provide a sense of security, confidence, and an understanding of love. This study aims to describe the experiences of young adult women regarding their fathers' parenting roles and their impact on romantic relationships. This study adopts a phenomenological approach using purposive sampling techniques. The research was conducted over four months, and data were collected through interviews and observations. Five participants aged 18 to 25 years, with experiences of both positive and negative fatherly parenting and a history of romantic relationships, were involved in this study. The results show that positive fatherly parenting fosters positive romantic relationship experiences, such as the ability to build trust and intimacy. Conversely, hostile fatherly parenting leads to negative relationship patterns, such as distrust or a need for emotional validation. The lack of fatherly parenting also drives women to seek a father figure in others and to feel less trustful toward their partners. These findings demonstrate that the father's role in parenting has a significant impact on young adult women's romantic relationships.

This study aims to examine the relationship between empathy and emotional independence in 9th grade students of SMP Sejahtera Koja, North Jakarta. The background of this study is the importance of empathy as an aspect of emotional intelligence in social interaction, which is increasingly fading among adolescents, as well as the role of emotional independence as an indicator of individual emotional maturity. The study used a quantitative approach with 69 respondents, through data collection using a Likert scale-based questionnaire. The results of simple linear regression analysis showed that the effect of empathy on emotional independence is very small (R value = 0.194 and coefficient of determination of 3.8%). This finding suggests that other factors, such as parenting, environment and social interaction, are more dominant in influencing emotional independence. This study is expected to contribute to the development of a holistic education program in improving students' empathy and emotional independence.

Stunting is a health problem that is still a challenge in Indonesia, especially in areas with low economic conditions. One of the contributing factors is less than ideal parenting due to limited knowledge in managing household income to meet children's nutritional needs. This community service activity aims to improve housewives' understanding of financial management and the selection of nutritious food at low cost to support stunting prevention. This activity was carried out in Wera Village, Pamona Puselemba District, Poso Regency, involving seven families with stunted children, integrated health post cadres, and community leaders. The method used was practice-based training that included lectures, group discussions, household budget preparation simulations, and demonstrations of selecting nutritious food at low cost. Evaluation was carried out through pre-tests and post-tests, participatory observations, and activity documentation. The results of the pre-test and post-test showed an increase in participants' understanding by 75.7%, with an average score increasing from 45.8 to 80.5. The indicator with the highest increase was the ability to prepare a simple family budget (87.5%), followed by an understanding of the importance of balanced nutrition (70.0%) and the selection of nutritious food at low cost (70.8%). The response of the participants was very positive, shown by enthusiasm in the discussion and active involvement in the practice of preparing a budget and demonstration of selecting food ingredients. The purpose of this study is 1) To describe the parenting patterns applied by single parents in increasing children's reading interest in Sukowiryo Village, Bondowoso District, Bondowoso Regency 2) To describe the inhibiting and supporting factors for single parents in increasing children's reading interest in Sukowiryo Village, Bondowoso District, Bondowoso Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach, this approach uses the natural environment as a direct source of data, is descriptive analytical, emphasizes the process rather than the results. The results of this study indicate that: 1) In the process of raising their children, two single parent families tend to use authoritarian, permissive and democratic parenting patterns in encouraging their children to be more active in reading so that their education can develop well. 2) a) The inhibiting factor for single parents in raising their children is the control of single parent families in the process of supervising and communicating with their children cannot be done fully every day due to time constraints. This also has an impact on children's learning/reading discipline. In addition, their unstable economic factors cause a lack of availability of reading materials for children, so that children do not maximize their learning. b) While the supporting factors for single parents in raising their sons or daughters are the self-acceptance and determination of the single parents that they have built and fixed to live their lives. They try their best to continue to pay attention to the continuation of their children's education.
