This study examines the optimization of military defense in North Sulawesi as a supporting pillar for Indonesia’s new import gateway. Positioned strategically on the Pacific rim, North Sulawesi is expected to become a hub for imported goods to support national economic equalization. However, this import route shift also brings security challenges, including military and non-military threats such as smuggling, maritime crimes, and potential infiltration by terrorist groups. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method based on literature study, focusing on the analysis of naval and air defense strategies, modernization of main weapon systems (alutsista), and the enhancement of human resources within the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI). The results indicate that strengthening defense infrastructure, including the addition of warships, patrol vessels, and modern fighter aircraft, is urgently needed to maintain regional stability. Furthermore, the application of the smart defense concept, integrating advanced technology with local community empowerment, can sustainably enhance maritime resilience. Investment in the defense sector has been shown to create a conducive climate for international trade, boost investor confidence, and strengthen Indonesia’s economic connectivity with the Asia-Pacific region. This study recommends synergy between the Ministry of Defense, TNI, and the national defense industry to accelerate the modernization and maintenance of alutsista, while ensuring the security of trade routes in North Sulawesi. With these measures, North Sulawesi can function optimally as a strategic import gateway that supports national economic growth and reinforces state defense.

The development of digital technology has encouraged the government to utilize social media as an effective means of public communication. The Ministry of Agriculture is one institution that actively uses Instagram to convey information, build a positive image, and interact with the public. This study aims to determine the Public Relations strategy in managing the Instagram social media account @kementerianpertanian. This study uses the Public Relations strategy theory from Cutlip and Center, which consists of four stages: problem identification, planning and programming, communication and action, and evaluation. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and documentation of the Ministry of Agriculture's Public Relations team. The results show that the Ministry of Agriculture's Public Relations has implemented a planned communication strategy, starting from planning informative and educational content, utilizing Instagram features such as reels, stories, and live to increase interaction, to routine evaluation based on engagement data (likes, shares, comments, and saves). This strategy also adapts to social media trends and audience needs. Public Relations actively responds to user questions and comments to maintain two-way communication. However, challenges such as negative comments, limited resources, and changes in the Instagram algorithm are obstacles that still need to be overcome. Overall, the implemented strategy has successfully supported the improvement of the image and transparency of public information within the Ministry of Agriculture.

Spiritual needs during adolescence are very important because this time in life helps shape who a person is, how they feel, and their beliefs. This study looks at the spiritual needs of teenagers and young people at GKE Betang Kahanjak Palangkaraya, and explores ways that Christian Religious Education (PAK) can help them grow spiritually. By looking at existing research and observing the local context, the study finds that young people need support in their personal spirituality, their Christian identity, building relationships, getting guidance, becoming stronger in tough situations, and making good moral choices. Good PAK approaches include mentoring that focuses on relationships, studying the Bible in a way that fits their situation, using digital tools for spiritual growth, combining service with learning, and guidance that builds strong character. Churches need to keep up with how young people are changing and create new ways of ministry that really help teenagers and young adults grow spiritually.

This community service activity was conducted in a Christian ministry institution located in Makassar City, South Sulawesi. The Student Creativity Program (PKM) was motivated by the reality that many people in Makassar have not yet known or believed in Isa Al-Masih (Jesus Christ )as Lord and Savior. As a city with a predominantly non-Christian population, evangelism in Makassar needs to be carried out contextually, wisely, and lovingly, without offending the beliefs of the surrounding community. The “PI 3 Saja” method (an acronym for Evangelism anytime, anywhere, and to anyone) serves as a relevant and effective strategy for reaching out to society. Through the 5P approach (Pertalian—Relationship, Peralihan—Transition, Penginsafan—Conviction, Pengabaran—Proclamation, and Penyelesaian—Commitment), this method emphasizes the importance of friendship, empathy, and naturally sharing the Gospel in everyday conversations. The purpose of this activity was to train participants in the institution to become contextual evangelists who can share the Good News without coercion, but rather through exemplary living and genuine friendship with others. The training and field practice results showed positive responses from the community, the formation of small discipleship groups (house churches), and an increased sense of courage and sensitivity among participants in sharing the Gospel in non-Christian environments. This activity demonstrates that evangelism can remain relevant and effective when it prioritizes love, relationships, and sensitivity to local culture.

The management of educational institutions has a strategic role in determining the direction of growth and sustainability of the institution. The success of this management is highly dependent on the administrator's ability to analyze the external environment, understand the position of competitors, optimize internal potential, and formulate superior strategies that are able to maintain competitiveness without ignoring the fundamental values of education. In this context, the application of marketing management becomes an important need. This study aims to analyze marketing management in increasing public trust in the Darul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School in Tulungagung. This study uses a qualitative phenomenological approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out through data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusion/verification. The results of the study indicate that the marketing strategy of the Darul Hikmah Islamic Boarding School in Tulungagung in building public trust is implemented through four main elements: (1) Product – offering quality educational services with character strengthening, implementing the curriculum of the Ministry of National Education, Ministry of Religious Affairs, local content, and superior extracurricular programs; (2) Price – affordable registration and administration fees and adjusted to the economic conditions of the community; (3) Place – the location of the Islamic boarding school is strategic, easy to reach, and has a conducive learning environment; and (4) Promotion – conducted through visits to elementary schools, installation of promotional media (billboards, banners, brochures), publication of extracurricular achievements, and utilization of social media such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and the Islamic boarding school's official website.

The study explores the communication strategy of the Public Relations Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) in responding to the wave of student and community demonstrations in early September 2025. This research aims to identify the strategic approach and challenges faced by the division in managing public communication during a national socio-political crisis. Using a qualitative descriptive method through observation, participation, and in-depth interviews with two informants from the division, the study reveals that Kemendagri’s communication strategy emphasized transparency, cross-institutional coordination, and the empowerment of local governments to maintain stability. The division also adopted multi-channel communication, including social media, press releases, and press conferences, ensuring message consistency and public reassurance. However, several challenges were identified, such as the sensitivity of political issues, the spread of misinformation and hoaxes, limited human resources, and the suboptimal implementation of two-way communication. The findings indicate that public communication during a crisis requires accuracy, empathy, and collaboration across institutions. This study implies that strengthening transparency, enhancing crisis communication skills, and improving digital responsiveness are essential for the Ministry’s public relations performance in future crises.

Pastoral ministry plays a crucial role in shaping the spiritual growth of the congregation so that they live according to the principles of the Kingdom of God. In practice, many congregations do not fully understand the meaning of Matthew 6:33, so its values are merely spiritual slogans without concrete application in daily life. This study aims to design a more effective pastoral strategy within the GEREJA KRISTEN SETIA INDONESIA (GKSI) Getsemani Palah Parajo, focusing on five main aspects: (1) a theological understanding of Matthew 6:33 as the basis for pastoral care; (2) the role of the pastor and congregation in building healthy relationships; (3) identifying the congregation's spiritual needs and challenges; (4) developing contextual pastoral strategies and methods; and (5) evaluating the congregation's spiritual growth. Through this approach, it is hoped that pastoral care will become a means of forming Christ-like character, which is not only theologically relevant but also has a real impact on the congregation's daily lives.

Pastoral ministry is at the core of the life of the Church which requires the active and qualified involvement of its implementers, especially facilitators. At St. Joseph Tanjung Balai Karimun Church, the role of facilitators is very important in reviving the Ecclesiastical Base Community (KBG) as the main means of fostering the faith of the people. However, the limited number and capacity of facilitators are obstacles in supporting the effectiveness of pastoral ministry. This community service activity aims to increase the capacity of facilitators through training that focuses on developing communication competencies, faith mentoring, and pastoral leadership. The method used was observation and participatory training for three months, with periodic evaluation through reflection with participants. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in confidence, empathic communication skills, and the effectiveness of facilitators in managing group dynamics. In addition, the KBG meeting became more lively and participatory. Pastorally, this activity shows that strengthening the capacity of facilitators is not only a technical solution, but also a long-term strategy in building an independent, synodal and empowered Church. This activity is expected to be a model for other parishes in developing pastoral services that are contextual and relevant to the lives of today's people.

Gender mainstreaming (PUG) is a development strategy that integrates gender equality as a key principle in planning and budgeting. The city of Semarang has adopted this approach in various policy documents; however, its implementation still faces significant challenges. This study aims to evaluate the achievement of the seven prerequisites for PUG according to the guidelines from the Ministry of PPPA, including commitment, policies, institutional frameworks, resources, sex-disaggregated data, gender analysis tools (GAP and GBS), and community participation. The research utilizes a descriptive qualitative approach, employing in-depth interviews, document studies, and questionnaires. Key informants include local government organizations (OPDs) and civil society representatives. Data analysis is carried out using Miles & Huberman's interactive model with thematic analysis. The findings show that normative prerequisites such as policies and institutional frameworks are in place, but implementation remains weak, particularly in the use of sex-disaggregated data and the application of GAP-GBS. Supporting factors for success include leadership commitment from specific OPDs and the existence of cross-sector coordination forums, while the main obstacles are limited human resource capacity and insufficient gender-responsive budget allocation. This study reinforces the relevance of policy implementation theory in bridging the gap between normative frameworks and operational practices. Recommendations include ongoing training, mainstreaming sex-disaggregated data, and technical regulations that all OPDs must follow to enhance the effectiveness of PUG.

The spirituality of today’s church youth encounters multidimensional challenges, particularly the pervasive influence of digital culture, the gradual decline in interest toward spiritual disciplines, and the weakening of involvement in ecclesial ministry. Such dynamics often create a gap between theological knowledge and lived faith experiences. This Community Service (PkM) initiative was designed to respond to these issues by implementing an interactive model aimed at enhancing the spiritual understanding of the youth at GKSI Trimorejo Congregation. The model emphasizes participatory learning processes, in which youth are not merely passive recipients of teaching but active contributors to collective faith formation. The methodological framework consisted of three main stages: initial observation to identify needs and spiritual conditions; preparation of training modules contextualized with the congregation’s realities; and the implementation of interactive activities such as group discussions, thematic Bible studies, role-play, and collective reflection. Evaluation strategies integrated both quantitative and qualitative approaches, including pre-tests and post-tests to measure cognitive growth, alongside participatory interviews to capture experiential insights. The findings reveal a notable increase in youth comprehension of biblical principles, heightened enthusiasm and participation in church programs, and the establishment of a more cohesive spiritual learning community. Furthermore, the process encouraged a deeper sense of belonging and responsibility among the participants toward their ecclesial environment. In conclusion, the interactive model demonstrates significant effectiveness in fostering youth spirituality and may serve as a viable alternative strategy for churches encountering similar challenges within contemporary contexts of ministry.

Illegal streaming sites are one of the forms of copyright infringement that are rampant in the digital era and have a significant impact on the creative industry, the economy, and law enforcement. This research analyzes the Indonesian legal framework consisting of Law No. 28 of 2014 on Copyright, Law No. 11 of 2008 jo. Law No. 19 of 2016 on Electronic Information and Transactions, as well as the technical regulations of the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) in addressing these violations. The findings indicate that although the legal framework is in place, enforcement still faces technical, legal, social, and complex cross-border challenges. These sites often utilize foreign servers, mirror domains, and anti-blocking technology to evade blocking, thus requiring international cooperation thru mechanisms such as Mutual Legal Assistance (MLA) and coordination with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). An effective counter-strategy must be multidimensional, encompassing regulatory strengthening, the use of detection technologies such as digital watermarking and content ID systems, as well as public education to curb the demand for illegal content. A comparison with the United States, Japan, and South Korea shows that proactive enforcement, a quick notice-and-takedown mechanism, and industry cooperation have proven effective in reducing violations. In conclusion, the eradication of illegal streaming sites in Indonesia requires continuous synergy between the government, industry, and society to protect copyright and the sustainability of the creative industry ecosystem in the digital era.

This research is motivated by the challenges faced by today's local church in formulating its missionary goals and work amidst rapid social, cultural, and global changes. These changes often make the church's missionary function appear unclear and lack clear direction, putting the church at risk of carrying out its ministry detached from its biblical identity. Therefore, this research aims to reinterpret the local church's missionary goals and work based on the Apostle Paul's example as a missionary, while also proposing its relevance for church ministry in the current context. The research uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method, specifically contemporary missionary theology literature and writings on the Apostle Paul's life and ministry. The results show that, according to Paul, the primary purpose of the church's mission is to educate the congregation through teaching rooted in the truth of the Word, and to bring the congregation into an encounter with Christ through lively worship, expressed in the singing of psalms, praises, spiritual songs, and the celebration of the Lord's Supper. The missionary work exemplified by Paul also includes the proclamation of the Gospel, tangible loving service, empowering the congregation to grow as witnesses of Christ, and social transformation as a manifestation of the church's presence in society. These findings confirm that the local church's mission should not only focus on spiritual aspects, but also be holistic, contextual, and relevant to the needs of the times. Thus, the church is called to develop a mission strategy that is both faithful to the Bible and able to meet the challenges of the modern world, thereby providing a complete witness of God's love for the world.

This study aims to analyze the authority structure between the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) and Regional Governments in managing coastal areas through marine spatial utilization following the enactment of Law Number 6 of 2023 concerning the Stipulation of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law Number 2 of 2022 concerning Job Creation into Law. The main instrument studied is the Confirmation of Conformity of Marine Spatial Utilization Activities (KKPRL), which functions as a licensing instrument and a control mechanism to ensure that marine spatial utilization activities remain directed, integrated, and aligned with the principles of ecological, social, and economic sustainability. The research approach used is a juridical-empirical approach with a qualitative descriptive analysis method. Through this approach, the research not only examines legal norms but also captures the practice of implementing authority in the field. The results show that although the Job Creation Law is oriented towards simplifying business licensing, several problems remain that have implications for the effectiveness of coastal governance. These issues include disharmony between central and regional regulations, overlapping authority between the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (KKPRL) and regional governments, and weak synchronization between national policies and regional instruments such as the Coastal and Small Islands Zoning Plan (RZWP3K). In addition to regulatory constraints, this study also highlights institutional and technical aspects. Limited human resource capacity in the regions, a lack of understanding of KKPRL procedures, and minimal inter-agency coordination hamper the effectiveness of coastal management. These conditions result in slow investment realization, conflicts over spatial use, and potential coastal environmental degradation. Therefore, this study recommends a strategy for harmonizing authority through improving vertical-horizontal coordination, strengthening the institutional capacity of regional governments, and developing derivative regulations consistent with the principles of good governance.

The digital era has brought profound transformations in religious life, creating both opportunities and challenges for the younger generation of Christians in maintaining their faith. The Toraja Church Youth Fellowship (PPGT) of the Buntu Masakke Congregation is one such community struggling to maintain the steadfastness of its youth's faith amidst the tide of globalization, the temptations of materialism, worldly positions, and the increasingly prevalent dynamics of interfaith romance. This reality drives the need for a faith training strategy that is relevant, contextual, and utilizes the potential of digital technology wisely. This study aims to implement an effective faith training strategy for PPGT through the use of digital media to produce church youth who not only unleash strength in faith, but also grow spiritually and are able to serve in creative and impactful ways in the modern era. This study used a four-month practicum method involving 22 active participants. Three training modules were implemented in stages: (1) Rooted in God's Word in the Digital Age, which encourages the use of Bible applications and digital devotionals; (2) Growing in Christ's Character Amidst Worldly Temptations, which emphasizes the values of integrity, faithfulness, and holiness; and (3) Serving with Creativity and Relevance in the Digital Age, which invites young people to produce digital content with spiritual value. The results of the study showed significant success, with 95% achieving “rootedness,” 80% achieving “growth,” and 86% achieving “serving.” In fact, 63.6% of participants experienced spiritual transformation and are now active as digital ministry drivers. These findings confirm that digital media, when utilized strategically and in harmony with Christian values, can be an effective tool in fostering the faith of the younger generation. Therefore, the church needs to develop a sustainable and contextual digital training model to strengthen the role of young people in current and future ministry.

In the contemporary Christian context, many churches face a leadership crisis marked by corruption, arrogance, lack of integrity, and resistance to criticism—traits that starkly contrast with the servant-hearted leadership exemplified by Jesus Christ. This study aims to explore the biblical foundation of Jesus’ leadership, both in character and technical dimensions, as portrayed in the Gospel of John, and to examine its implementation within GPdI Betesda Kabanjahe. Employing a qualitative methodology, the research integrates two primary approaches: a theological-biblical analysis and a case study of leadership practices in the local church. The theological dimension focuses on Jesus as the Good Shepherd, emphasizing relational depth, sacrificial service, and intentional character formation of His disciples. The case study approach investigates how these principles are understood and applied by church leaders in GPdI Betesda. Findings reveal two key insights. First, the pastoral leadership model in the Gospel of John presents Jesus as a shepherd who leads through personal connection, selfless sacrifice, and transformative discipleship. While these values are normatively acknowledged by church leaders, their practical application in GPdI Betesda remains partial and lacks systemic integration into the church’s organizational and ministerial structures. Second, pastoral leadership at GPdI Betesda is marked by exemplary behavior and love in service. However, inconsistencies persist in leadership stability, spiritual maturity, and character development. The absence of structured ministry management and leadership formation contributes to these gaps. In conclusion, the study underscores the need for churches to realign leadership practices with the biblical model of Jesus, fostering integrity, humility, and servant leadership. Strengthening character development and implementing structured leadership systems are essential steps toward resolving the leadership crisis and embodying Christ-like shepherding in the church context.

In early 2024, deaths from Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) increased again in Indonesia, with the number of cases higher than the previous year. This condition raises concerns because DHF remains a serious public health problem. The World Health Organization (WHO) emphasized that the key to reducing mortality lies not only in early detection but also in public access to fast, effective, and equitable health services. This statement aligns with the second point in the document "National Dengue Control Strategy 2021–2025" issued by the Ministry of Health, in which the government is committed to strengthening health security. In efforts to ensure this strengthening, public participation plays a crucial role, particularly through the public oversight function channeled through the media. The media acts as a bridge of information and a tool of social control over government performance, including in monitoring the provision of health services by BPJS Kesehatan. This study aims to analyze how news about health security reaches the public, using Brand24 media monitoring as an analytical tool. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, focusing on mapping issues, sentiments, and narratives developing in the digital space. The analysis showed that news containing the keyword "BPJS Kesehatan" was dominated by positive news, with several minor topics discussing aspects of public service. This finding indicates a media tendency to project a positive image of the institution, although further study is needed regarding media bias in the context of health security reporting in Indonesia. Future research is expected to explore the relationship between media framing, public interest, and the effectiveness of national health programs.

Macroeconomic uncertainty poses a structural challenge for the sustainability of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. Fluctuations in inflation, benchmark interest rates, and exchange rates have a direct impact on liquidity, cost structures, and investment decisions. This study aims to explore the types of financial strategies adopted by MSMEs in response to macroeconomic pressures using a systematic literature review and secondary data analysis covering the period from 2019 to May 2024. Data were sourced from official national institutions, including the Central Bureau of Statistics, Bank Indonesia, the Ministry of Cooperatives and MSMEs, as well as relevant academic literature. The findings reveal that MSME financial strategies can be categorized into three key domains: cash management, cost control, and investment planning. MSMEs employing flexible strategies—such as increasing cash buffers, reducing operational costs, and diversifying products or financing sources—demonstrate higher resilience in the face of economic volatility. This study contributes theoretically by enriching the framework of financial adaptation for MSMEs and practically by informing financial literacy programs and policy design. The study also acknowledges limitations in the use of aggregate secondary data and recommends that future research adopt a mixed-method approach to capture undocumented informal financial practices at the grassroots level

This article aims to analyze and formulate Soul Care as a leadership management strategy to address the crisis of extreme fatigue (burnout) among church leaders, in order to achieve Sustainable Leadership. The burnout phenomenon is reviewed as a crisis of self-management and morals resulting from a misinterpretation of Servant Leadership that demands unlimited sacrifice. This research uses a qualitative literature review method with a Practical Theology approach and interdisciplinary analysis (Theology, Psychology, Management). Findings indicate that Soul Care is not a choice, but a normative command rooted in Sabbath Theology (the command for rest as a divine instruction) and exemplified by Jesus Christ (withdrawing for prayer and rest). Soul Care is practically implemented through disciplined and holistic Self-Boundary Management, encompassing temporal, physical, and emotional dimensions, which serves as a preventive strategy against fatigue. The synthesis of these findings yields the Sustainable Leadership model, which emphasizes that a leader's inner balance and self-wholeness are mandatory foundations for Ethical Integrity and successful long-term ministry.
