The growth of online shopping has encouraged brands to utilize live-streaming as a promotional tool to attract consumers, including Parfumoist in Lampung, which actively broadcasts product demonstrations to increase audience engagement. However, whether these broadcasts truly build trust and stimulate purchase intention remains uncertain, forming the central problem of this research. The research tried to analyze the influence of interactivity, visualization, entertainment, and professionalization during live-streaming on consumer trust and purchase intention. Using Stimulus-Organism-Response framework, live-streaming elements are positioned as stimuli, trust as the organism, and purchase intention as the response. A quantitative approach was employed, with purposive sampling of viewers who watched Parfumoist live streams and had made or intended to make a purchase. Data from an online questionnaire then analyzed with SEM-PLS. The findings reveal all four dimensions of live-streaming significantly affect purchase intention, mediated through consumer trust. The findings highlight that effective live-streaming depends not only on frequent broadcasts, but also on the ability of the host to interact meaningfully, present attractive visuals, entertain viewers, and display professionalism. This study concludes that improving the overall quality of live-stream sessions strengthens trust and intention to buy, offering theoretical implications for digital marketing research and practical recommendations for MSMEs to optimize live-streaming strategies in competitive markets.

Food tourism is increasingly recognized as a strategic component in enhancing the competitiveness of tourism destinations, particularly thru the development of local cuisine based on local wisdom. However, most research still views digital platforms as partial promotional tools and has not yet studied how to use them systematically to build a sustainable culinary tourism ecosystem. The purpose of this study is to examine how digital platforms contribute to the development of local cuisine and how they contribute to the strengthening of sustainable culinary tourism. This is the culinary tourism destination that is the subject of this study, which was conducted using the case study method. Data was collected thru in-depth interviews with culinary MSME producers, destination managers, and tourists, as well as online observations via social media, travel review platforms, and culinary markets. The research results show that the value of tourism experiences can be enhanced, destination identity strengthened, and active participation of local SMEs increased thru the integration of digital platforms that connect visual promotion, tourist interaction, and digital culinary stories. The latest finding in this research is the development of a multi-platform digital integration model that serves not only as a marketing tool but also as a collaborative ecosystem that helps local economic growth, preserves culinary cultural heritage, and enhances the competitiveness of tourist destinations. The results of this research contribute conceptually and practically to building sustainable digital-based culinary tourism strategies.

In response to the escalating challenge of packaging waste in the beauty industry, The Body Shop Indonesia has implemented a Green Marketing Mix through its Bring Back Our Bottles (BBOB) and Refill Station programs. This study aims to analyze the strategic implementation of this approach, assess consumer perceptions and engagement, and explore the inherent challenges and opportunities for future development. Employing a qualitative case study approach, the research collected data from five respondents who are The Body Shop consumers with prior participation in either the BBOB or Refill Station programs. Data were gathered through semi-structured interviews, observation, and a comprehensive literature review. Thematic analysis was subsequently performed, with findings validated through source and method triangulation. The results indicate that The Body Shop’s Green Marketing Mix has been effectively implemented, particularly in the elements of product (environmentally friendly packaging), promotion (campaigns via digital and print media), and physical evidence (store design that promotes a natural ambiance). The development of social media has significant transformations in the communication strategies of retail companies, particularly in building relationships with customers digitally. In the context of increasingly intense competition, social media no longer functions merely as a promotional channel, but also an interactive space to shape engagement, brand perception, and long-term relationships with customers. TIP TOP Supermarket, as one of the modern retail players in Indonesia, utilizes Instagram as its primary digital communication channel to reach audiences, convey brand values, and build customer engagement. The majority of TIP TOP Supermarket’s customers do not yet possess high levels of digital awareness, resulting in limited engagement with TIP TOP’s activations on Instagram. TIP TOP has not yet implemented a strategic approach in managing its Instagram. This condition constitutes a challenge in Instagram management. This study aims to analyze the stages of research and diagnosis, objective, strategies, tactics, implementation, and reporting-evaluation carried out by TIP TOP Supermarket in building customer engagement. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach within a positivist paradigm. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with seven key informants from the Marketing and Communications Division, observations, and online documentation. The findings indicate that the management of TIP TOP Supermarket’s Instagram has gone through all stages of the ROSTIR, although several aspects have not yet been fulfilled. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of building a brand identity with consistent characteristics. This study recommends the establishment of a digital community on Instagram and the adoption of a responsive approach toward customers.

In Indonesia, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have long been recognized as a very important business sector due to their various real roles in the economy. However, MSMEs often face many obstacles in running their businesses. More incentive support from various parties, especially the government, is needed for the development of MSMEs. In order to overcome the problems faced by MSMEs and support their sustainability, a KKU (Business Field Study) activity was carried out by Group 15 at the KKU-11 of the Institute of Technology and Business (ITB) Adias Pemalang at the MSME “Ev_Kids Product.”After conducting an observation phase, several problems faced by the SME were identified, including the lack of social media for marketing, failure to calculate the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and maintain simple accounting records, absence of a business logo, banners, promotional image designs, organizational structure, business profile, product catalog, stamps, receipt books, and product attributes. Additionally, the SME had never produced a production video or promotional video. After conducting the observation phase, KKU actors formulated several business development assistance programs, namely creating social media accounts, calculating the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), creating simple bookkeeping, creating a business logo, banners, promotional image designs, organizational structure, business profile, product catalog, stamps, note books, and product attributes in the form of hangtags. They also created production videos and promotional videos.

This study aims to analyze the potential and business development strategies of Warung Misop Kampung Yani Mbotz in Tanjung Morawa District as a representative of traditional culinary MSMEs. The main problems identified are limited capital, simple business management, and the lack of digital promotion. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach, using direct observation, interviews with the business owner, and document analysis. Data were analyzed using the SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) framework to identify internal and external factors, and the Business Model Canvas (BMC) to formulate development strategies. The results reveal that the main strengths of the business lie in authentic taste, affordable prices, and customer loyalty. Weaknesses include limited menu innovation, underutilized digital promotion, and the absence of systematic financial recording. Opportunities arise from the growing public interest in traditional culinary products and government support for MSMEs, while threats come from competition with modern food outlets, fast-food chains, and rising raw material prices. The strategies formulated through the BMC framework include product innovation, service diversification, the optimization of social media marketing, and the strengthening of business networks. The study concludes that applying BMC-based strategies can enhance the competitiveness of Warung Misop Kampung Yani Mbotz while preserving traditional culinary heritage. These findings are expected to serve as a reference for other culinary MSMEs in developing their businesses sustainably.

This study explores the persuasive linguistic techniques used in 50 Instagram advertisements by Anomali Coffee, a prominent Indonesian specialty coffee brand. The research aims to identify and analyze the linguistic strategies embedded in captions, hashtags, slogans, and textual elements in promotional visuals using Lamb’s (2011) 21 category persuasive language framework. A descriptive qualitative approach was adopted for this purpose. The analysis reveals 46 instances of persuasive techniques, with the most common being inclusive language, imagery, hyperbole, connotation, and colloquial expressions. These findings suggest that Anomali Coffee strategically employs emotional engagement, community oriented language, and sensory appeals to strengthen brand identity and resonance. Additionally, credibility enhancing strategies such as expert opinion and evidence are also evident. The study contributes to the application of Lamb’s taxonomy in Indonesian digital marketing, particularly in the specialty coffee industry, showing how linguistic persuasion can amplify consumer interaction on social media platforms. However, the study’s focus on a single brand and textual features limits its generalizability. Future research should consider cross brand comparisons, multimodal analyses, and consumer response studies to further explore the effectiveness of persuasive techniques. Overall, the findings offer valuable insights into the role of persuasive language in shaping digital marketing strategies for local coffee brands in Indonesia.

The development of e-commerce and social commerce has driven significant changes in student shopping behaviour, including at FEB UNDARIS. Ease of access, digital promotions, and the influence of social media have led students to shop online more frequently, even impulsively. This study aims to analyse how attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioural control interact in shaping students' online shopping behaviour using the Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) framework. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with in-depth interviews with ten students who actively shop online. The data were analysed to understand the experiences, perceptions, and social factors that influence their decisions in digital transactions. The results show that positive attitudes towards efficiency and promotions, social pressure from friends and influencers, and high perceived behavioural control due to technological convenience work simultaneously to reinforce online shopping intentions and actions. These three TPB components support each other and trigger increasingly impulsive consumption patterns in the digital environment.
