This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality, destination attraction, and supporting facilities on visitor loyalty in the context of halal tourism at Maimun Palace, Medan City. Employing a quantitative approach with an associative research design, the study involved 254 respondents selected using the Slovin formula from a total population of 689 visitors recorded in April 2025. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire using a Likert scale and analyzed using SPSS software. The findings reveal that each independent variable—service, attraction, and facilities—has a positive and significant effect on visitor loyalty. Furthermore, the simultaneous analysis confirms that the combination of these three factors significantly influences loyalty among visitors to the halal tourism destination. These results align with the Customer Satisfaction Theory, which posits that positive experiences related to service delivery, destination appeal, and the availability of appropriate facilities contribute to higher levels of satisfaction, ultimately fostering loyalty. The implications of this study suggest that halal tourism destination managers should prioritize enhancing service quality, preserving the cultural and historical appeal of attractions, and ensuring the availability of facilities that meet the specific needs of Muslim tourists. By doing so, destinations like Maimun Palace can cultivate sustainable visitor loyalty, which is essential for long-term tourism development and competitiveness in the halal tourism sector. This research contributes to the growing body of literature on halal tourism by empirically validating the role of service, attraction, and facilities in shaping visitor loyalty. Future studies are recommended to explore additional variables such as religious compliance, digital engagement, and cultural sensitivity to provide a more comprehensive understanding of loyalty drivers in halal tourism contexts.

Medan City has many historical buildings that reflect its rich culture and history. However, with the times, public awareness of this cultural heritage is diminishing. One of the efforts to preserve and reintroduce the historical buildings in Medan is through the creation of souvenir designs. This research focuses on the creation of a tote bag design with the theme of historical building series stamps of Medan City as souvenirs at Pos Bloc Medan. The creation method used in this research refers to the stages of exploration, design, and realization. Exploration was conducted by studying the visual and historical elements of historical buildings in Medan City, such as Maimun Palace, Medan Post Office, and Al-Mashun Grand Mosque. Designing is done by adapting the shape of stamps as the main design concept, combining digital illustrations with interesting color compositions. The final result is a tote bag design featuring historical buildings in the format of stamp illustrations, printed with digital printing techniques.  This research is expected to contribute to the effort of preserving Medan City's cultural heritage through creative media, as well as increasing public awareness of the importance of preserving and appreciating historical buildings. In addition, this tote bag design also has the potential to become an attractive souvenir product with educational value for tourists and local communities.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the distribution and condition of historical heritage, which symbolizes the identity of Malay culture in the Medan Maimun area. This study uses a case study approach for its qualitative method. Information is obtained through direct observation at the location, intensive interviews with local residents and site managers, and review of historical archive documents. The findings show that although the Maimun Palace, the Grand Mosque, and Sri Deli Park have a high level of culture, there are elements of modernization, lack of structural problems, and inadequate maintenance, which cause great difficulties in preserving these heritages. Therefore, there is a need for the government, community, and academics to work together in determining the best conservation strategy.
