This study aims to discover language choices of third year English students at Udinus in following domains: settings, participants, and topics as well as to examine those students' attitudes to Javanese. The study used descriptive qualitative method since it focused on examining the respondents to gain profound information from them. The data were collected through the questionnaire consisting of questions about the respondents' backgrounds, language choice and language attitudes to Javanese language. Language attitudes are measured with likert scale composed answers from strongly disagree, disagree, neutral, agree, and strongly agree. The questionnaire was distributed to 20 English students of third year of Udinus who are able to speak Javanese or were born and live in one of the cities in Javanese-speaking provinces. The data were analyzed using descriptive method. It was meant to describe and interpret the data descriptively. The findings revealed the use of mix of Javanese and Indonesian and Indonesian itself are more popular in the most parts of domains due to factors of social dimensions; however, overall the respondents show favorable attitudes to Javanese. It can become input and output for related institutions to make sure its sustainability and its rising by producing program.

The implications highlight the necessity for a stratified curriculum, ensuring a comprehensive skill set in line with modern maritime demands. Cadets overwhelmingly endorse technology's role in enhancing education, signalling a paradigm shift. Positive attitudes towards online resources, digital simulations, and e-learning platforms advocate for an institutional embrace of cutting-edge tools. Recommendations focus on faculty development and increased technology integration, promising an enriched pedagogical landscape. The exploration of sociocultural influences uncovers a delicate balance between tradition and the necessity of English proficiency. Nuanced strategies are essential to integrate diverse cultural backgrounds. Recommendations call for cultural awareness initiatives and language support programs, aligning the institution with the global orientation of maritime education. In qualitative insights, cadets express a collective desire for a more intentional curriculum, particularly in incorporating cultural perspectives. This aligns with the broader scholarly discourse advocating for holistic education. Proposed avenues include workshops, seminars, and collaborations with cultural experts, providing a roadmap for curriculum development congruent with the diverse needs of Semester 1 cadets. This research, rooted in rigorous academic inquiry, serves as a guide for the Maritime Institute, steering its trajectory towards producing technologically adept professionals who are equally culturally astute, ready to navigate the complex global maritime landscape.

Indonesia is a country with a diverse society, namely having various ethnic groups, languages, customs, customs, beliefs and social layers. With this diversity, Indonesia is rich in culture, but currently culture in Indonesia is starting to fade due to the lack of insight and understanding of the people around the culture. Lack of cultural literacy and citizenship is one of the reasons why national culture is gradually disappearing in social life. Thus, through cultural and civic literacy, people are expected to have knowledge about history, contributions and perspectives about culture as well as be able to apply it and understand and have a positive attitude towards Indonesian culture as a national identity amidst the diversity of Indonesian society.

Secondary data consists of data from the online game Mobile Legends and toxic behavior obtained from other sources. The data collection technique used is through observation and documentation. For technical data analysis using data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Toxic in the form of sarcasm is a rude insult intended to hurt other people in the Mobile Legends game. The team is annoyed at players who are considered bad and burden the team. Toxic cynicism criticizes in a frank language style that fits the facts. Cynicism or excessive skepticism is a condescending attitude that is detrimental and hurts the feelings of others. It involves negative or cynical judgments of other people, ideas, or situations with the aim of ridiculing or feeling better than the other person. This text will be shortened to a few sentences or important points, while maintaining the essence of the information conveyed.

Based on the study and discussion of research results, it can be concluded that the characters Ana and Alister are protagonists who have id, ego and superego personality aspects. The most prominent personality aspect of Ana's character is the superego aspect, so that Ana's character has a patient attitude and is more concerned with other people's feelings than her own. Meanwhile, the most prominent personality aspect of the character Alister is the id aspect, so Alister has a personality that tends to be difficult to control himself and easily influences situations. The novel Teluk Alaska by Eka Aryani is suitable to be used as literature teaching material in high school, it can clearly help and support as a means of supporting the enrichment of students' reading in addition to certain novels which are used as learning material by literature teachers. It can be seen from the perspective of language, mental maturity (psychology) of students, and cultural background.

This article aims to analyze the attitude of Non-Muslim students in the context of learning Malay Arabic in the Indonesian Language and Literature Study Program (PBSI) Riau University in 2021. The data collection method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data in this study are questionnaires and interviews conducted with Non-Muslim students of the 2021 batch of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at Riau University. Non-Muslim students showed a positive attitude, openness, and dedication to the subject matter, facing the challenges of language, culture, and values contained in this subject. The main focus is the learning spirit shown by Non-Muslim students during the learning process of Arabic Malay. Although the subject matter is related to religious aspects, Non-Muslim students showed appreciation and openness to Islamic values and traditions taught in the context of Malay Arabic. The results of this study provide important insights for curriculum development as well as more inclusive teaching strategies, to ensure that learning Malay Arabic in Riau University's PBSI environment provides balanced and beneficial benefits for all students, regardless of their religious background.

Final year PBA students who have difficulty speaking Arabic have obstacles that show symptoms that can be observed by teachers/lecturers. Some symptoms that are signs of difficulty in Arabic include: students showing low performance whose position is below the average achieved by their group, students having difficulty speaking Arabic during presentations and thesis exams. The results achieved are not commensurate with the efforts made, are slow in carrying out coursework, show inappropriate attitudes such as: difficulty in communicating Arabic during presentations, skipping class one day and coming late to class. This research aims to obtain clarity regarding: 1. Factors that cause students to have difficulty speaking Arabic; 2. Appropriate alternative assistance efforts to overcome the Arabic language difficulties of final semester PBA students at Nurul Jadid University. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. The data collection techniques used in this research are in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies with the main data source, namely final semester PBA students. The data obtained was then analyzed based on Milles and Hubermen's analysis flow, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions or data verification. The results of the analysis of students' difficulty speaking Arabic were 60% due to internal factors, namely originating from within the human being, such as psychological factors, and 40% due to external factors in the form of social and non-social factors.

The use of smart applications, data analysis, and digital platforms enriches students’ learning experiences, fosters creativity, and increases their understanding of Indonesian as an important medium of communication. In implementing character education and Indonesian language learning in the Society 5.0 era. Qualitative approaches are effective tools for understanding complex and dynamic contexts. Through content analysis, research can identify the weaknesses and strengths of the existing curriculum and provide recommendations for improvement. The results of this research can make a significant contribution to the design of more effective educational strategies and relevant to the needs of modern society.

This research was conducted to analyze student behavior in participating in the English learning process at school. This research uses qualitative descriptive techniques. The object of this research was 40 students in class XII of Hospitality and Culinary Management at Praja Pandawa Bangli Vocational High School. Data was collected through a system of observation, questionnaires and direct student and teacher interviews. This data analysis was obtained from observations in the field regarding students' attitudes or behavior when participating in the learning process. This foreign language is one of the languages that they must learn as prospective tourism actors. English has now become a mandatory language for tourism vocational students. Apart from language skills, what we need to pay attention to is that behavior or attitude is what really underlies everything we do. We don't only teach education about student behavior at school, but the role of parents is the most important. We can teach attitude, but change is based on each individual, as educators we can only give direction and direct, in the process the individual has the main role.

Based on the stylistic approach put forward as the basis for the theoretical study used in the analysis. This type of research uses qualitative methods. The theory used is stylistic theory with a stylistic approach. This is able to convey messages indirectly to the reader, what attitudes and behavior should be carried out. Based on the results of the analysis of the poem You Are How or I Have to How by KH Mustofa Bisri which highlights various aspects of strong and unexpected word formation in order to find out about the implied meaning that KH Mustofa Bisri wants to convey through the application of language styles (figure of speech), so that the meaning is hidden in The poem "How are you or what should I do" can be clearly expressed by the author. The author found the language styles of association, irony, parallelism and paradox, there are 6 language styles (figure of speech) which are divided into; 1 association, 2 ironies, 2 parallelisms and 1 paradox. Based on the results of the analysis, from the poem "How are you or what should I do" by Gus Mus, 6 language styles were obtained.

As a country with a lot of diversity, Indonesia has a number of problems related to diversity. One effort to overcome this diversity conflict can be resolved with one thing, namely an awareness of tolerance. One form of problem that often arises is the issue of religious differences. This also happens among students majoring in nutrition. Therefore, there needs to be further discussion regarding the awareness of tolerance in accordance with the values contained in Pancasila. Activities to increase awareness of Pancasila values to form a tolerant attitude in nutrition students are carried out not only in Pancasila education courses but are carried out continuously and continuously every semester with the hope that every academic is required to implement them. The impact of implementing Pancasila values in students majoring in nutrition as an effort to realize an attitude of tolerance has a positive impact, namely increasing the feeling and attitude of caring for friends and neighbors who need it, creating an attitude of togetherness in every action that can be seen in places such as discussion groups, places. worship, organizational places, classrooms and others where students mix with each other and do not differentiate between religion, ethnicity, language

The research method used is descriptive qualitative, this research method is devoted to researching thoroughly, broadly and in depth. The results are in the quality of words, sentences and their meaning without comparing the results of this research with the results of other studies. The source of data obtained was by reading the short story "When the Sea is Angry" by Widya Suwarna carefully and critically. Based on the results of the theme contained in the short story, namely about sincerity, that even if we have the smallest fortune, when we see our neighbors or relatives who are experiencing difficulties, we must help and share sincerely and sincerely.This is in line with the character in the short story "When the Sea is Angry" by Widya Suwarna, namely Pak Yus, who has a caring and sincere attitude in helping his neighbors.

This research was carried out to provide support for learning that develops technology in the learning process of students in schools, especially vocational schools, in order to overcome the low effectiveness of practical learning skills that has occurred in productive subjects. The aim of this research is to prepare an electronic practical worksheet (Jobsheet) that can be proven to be practical, valid & effective in improving students' practical learning skills in vocational schools. This research uses the applied Research and Development method. The target of this research is class X students at An Nur Vocational School. Those related to this research are: material, media and language experts. This research has produced valid, practical and effective products in the development of portfolio-based problem based learning to improve critical thinking skills and democratic attitudes. to improve critical thinking skills and democratic attitudes. Validation from material experts obtained a value of 87.2, media experts 87.1 and language experts 88.3 so that the product developed was in the very valid category, with a practicality level of 83.4 classified as very practical, and effective in improving product assembly with a calculated value > ttable, namely 16.491 > 2.015 or < 0.05.

The research that has been carried out is entitled "The Effectiveness of MIKiR Active Learning in Class V Indonesian Language Lessons at MIS Mutiara Sei Mencirim". This research aims to determine the implementation of MIKiR active learning in class V Indonesian language lessons at MIS Mutiara Sei Mencirim, the effectiveness of MIKiR active learning applied in class V Indonesian language lessons at MIS Mutiara Sei Mencirim, and factors that support and hinder the implementation of MIKiR active learning in lessons. Indonesian language class V MIS Mutiara Sei Mencirim. This research is a qualitative research with a case study type of research. The subjects of this study were teachers and fifth grade students. Data collection was taken through interviews, observation, documentation and questionnaires. The author takes the role of a direct interviewer to dig up more complete data for teachers and students. The results of this research show that the implementation of MIKiR active learning in Indonesian language lessons can be proven from the learning outcomes which consist of Experiencing, Interaction, Communication and Reflection. In the "Experiencing" activity the teacher involves the students' five senses to understand the concepts of the material presented so that it is easier to understand, "Interaction" the teacher encourages students to be able to express ideas and reflect on themselves so that it also supports good understanding of the concept, "Communication" the teacher motivates the participants students to be brave and fluent in conveying ideas, and teacher "Reflection" creates an attitude in students to be willing to accept criticism and improve themselves, both ideas, work results and attitudes. MIKiR's active learning is very effectively applied to Indonesian language lessons for class V MIS Mutiara Sei Mencirim, as evidenced by the fact that during the learning process students always feel excited and happy, initially students still feel shy in asking questions or expressing their opinions, but often MIKiR's active learning this is applied at MIS Mutiara Sei Mencirim they don't feel boredom, in this case active learning MIKiR is very effectively used in Indonesian language lessons for class V MIS Mutiara Sei Mencirim. supporting factors in the application of MIKiR active learning, namely the teacher's role in this learning activity is very important because teacher creativity determines the learning process using MIKiR active learning and students will become the main character or role in each lesson, the teacher only needs to direct students in the learning process and students will show their respective creativity, and the inhibiting factor in the application of active learning MIKiR is the allocation of learning time that is not in accordance with the material because during the discussion process students who do not understand will tend to ask a lot of questions in order to be able to complete their group assignments.

The role of communication is very important for social life, because basically communication is a basic human activity and is a dynamic transactional process that influences behavior. According to communication experts, there are many forms of communication such as interpersonal communication, intrapersonal communication, organizational communication, and others. Based on temporary observations in Talaga Raya District, Central Buton Regency, there are several children with disabilities. These disabled children experience mental retardation, growth and development and speech disabilities, hearing impairments, and physical disabilities, so they are quite slow, making communication less slow, compared to normal children in general. The method used in this research is a qualitative method using a descriptive approach. Their attitudes and behavior are not as cheerful as children in general and they also have difficulty communicating and interacting with other people. From this problem, researchers are interested in researching "Communication Patterns of Mothers and Children with Disabilities in Talaga Raya District, Central Buton Regency." The results of this research are that the communication patterns of mothers and children with disabilities in Talaga Raya District, Central Buton Regency are quite good, although a little passive. in carrying out this communication pattern. Because communication must be done with body language, be patient, speak with a loud voice and slow intonation and speak by repeating words. Apart from that, when a child with a disability is angry if the child's wishes are not followed, the mother must speak patiently because the mother must try to understand what the child means and learn about what the child with a disability wants.

Mastering a foreign language becomes a necessity in this globalization era. This is because language is a vital instrument to communicate with people thus in other words, it is called the tool to communicate. In the workplace, one of the requirements that someone must be able to fulfill is that they have to master a foreign language, or at least to understand the foreign language used in books as well as foreign products using foreign languages, especially since the global market has emerged. Therefore, , we are all indirectly required to be able to speak a foreign language in order to keep up with the development of the increasingly advanced era. The formulations of the problem in this research are: (1) How is the effect of the use of English Language KIT tools on the English learning achievement of fourth grade students at State Elementary Schools in Sumbergempol District?; (2) How is the effect of motivation of learning English on the academic achievement of fourth grade students at State Elementary Schools in Sumbergempol District?; and (3) How is the effect of utilizing the English Language KIT tools and the learning motivation as a whole on the learning achievement of English of fourth grade students at State Elementary Schools? This thesis is useful for the author to broaden the insight into the mindset, attitude, experience that is by understanding the nature of the effect of the use of English Language KIT tools and the learning motivation on the student achievement in the process of learning English, especially in elementary schools.

Communication becomes very important in people's lives, because with indirect communication we can understand the attitudes, behaviors and actions of the environment around us. Communication that occurs between the Batak and Javanese tribes that occurs is called intercultural communication which involves two or more people with different cultural backgrounds. Communication and interaction between Batak and Javanese tribes in Environment II Untemanis is intertwined with the process of understanding each other's differences. This study is intended to determine the pattern of intercultural communication between Batak and Javanese tribes in Environment II Untemanis, Losung Batu Village, North Padangsidimpuan District, Padangsidimpuan Regency, North Sumatra. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The subjects in this study amounted to 14 informants determined purposively, consisting of the head of ligkungan II Untemanis, traditional leaders / hatobangon, and Batak and Javanese people who were at least domiciled for 3-4 years. Data collection is carried out by interview, observation and documentation techniques. In analyzing data, this study uses data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of this study show that communities in Environment II Untemanis coexist harmoniously through a process of adjustment and then accept each other's differences. In the process of communication and interaction these two tribes use mixed languages, namely Batak, Javanese and Indonesian. Despite having different cultural backgrounds, Batak and Javanese people in this environment live without any discrimination. The existence of high tolerance in Environment II Untemanis makes community life harmonious and open to each other. The pattern of communication that occurs between the Batak and Javanese tribes in this environment is a circular pattern. The creation of a circular pattern that indicates a reciprocal process due to supporting factors, namely the ability to communicate, mutual acceptance and respect between cultures, and the adaptability of the Batak and Javanese people.
