This study aims to analyze the implementation of financial reporting and evaluate the economic performance of Koperasi Simpan Pinjam dan Pembiayaan Syariah (KSPPS) Nur Insani during the period from 2022 to 2023. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, utilizing secondary data from the Statement of Financial Position, Cash Flow Statement, and Operating Results Report published by the cooperative. The findings indicate that KSPPS Nur Insani has implemented a computerized financial recording system, which enhances accuracy, transparency, and operational efficiency. However, the cooperative experienced significant financial pressure in 2023, as indicated by decreases in cash and cash equivalents, total assets, and temporary syirkah funds, both short-term and long-term. These declines reflect weakened liquidity and reduced fundraising capacity from members. Despite these challenges, the cooperative succeeded in increasing its Net Operating Results (SHU), demonstrating effective revenue management and operational cost control. Overall, the profitability of KSPPS Nur Insani remains positive, yet strategic improvements are necessary, particularly in strengthening liquidity management, increasing funding sources, optimizing asset utilization, and enhancing digital system implementation to support better financial governance. These strategic efforts are expected to improve business sustainability and maintain member trust in the future.

This study aims to analyze the role of the Makmur Mandiri Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSP) in supporting the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). KSP Makmur Mandiri serves as a microfinance institution providing financial access and business mentoring for MSME actors. The method used is qualitative descriptive with a Group Investigation approach, involving group discussions to gain deeper insights from relevant literature sources such as journals and books. The theoretical review supports understanding the cooperative’s role in improving member welfare and the obstacles faced in managing and developing MSMEs. The findings show that KSP Makmur Mandiri has succeeded in providing continuous capital and support, helping MSMEs to survive and grow despite economic challenges, especially after the pandemic. However, the cooperative faces various internal and external obstacles that require strategic collaboration for sustainable development. The implication of this study is to encourage enhanced managerial capacity of cooperatives and the need for stronger government policy support to optimize the cooperative’s role as a strategic partner for MSMEs.

Cooperatives play a significant role in Indonesia’s economic system because they aim to enhance member welfare through collective ownership and cooperative principles. To maintain accountability, cooperatives are required to prepare financial reports following the Financial Accounting Standards for Entities Without Public Accountability (SAK ETAP). This study examines how SAK ETAP is applied in the financial reporting practices of Koperasi Simpan Pinjam (KSP) Mandiri Sejahtera, Comal Branch. Using a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach, data were gathered through interviews and an analysis of the 2022 financial statements. The results indicate that although the cooperative has implemented several elements of SAK ETAP, full compliance has not been achieved due to limited human resources and the absence of an integrated reporting system. Nevertheless, the preparation of PPAP reports reflects prudence in managing credit risk and highlights the need for digital systems and improved accounting skills to strengthen transparent and accountable financial management.

Information technology is currently developing and growing rapidly in all fields, supported by the advancement of computer technology. The application of information systems can also be applied to the financial services sector, including cooperatives like K.S.P Al Hudori. The loan service system remains ineffective due to the manual data management process, which involves writing data into ledgers, which are easily lost or damaged due to the paper-based nature of the data. This research aims to implement a loan information system at K.S.P Al Hudori that can assist with loan data verification, search, and report generation. This information system was designed using Embarcadero XE2 and Microsoft Access 2007 as its database. This system has been implemented at KSP Al Hudori. It is hoped that this information system will simplify the loan management process at K.S.P Al Hudori.

This research aimed to determine the influence of human resource competence, accounting information systems, and internal control systems on financial performance at Obor Mas Credit Union. The research used a quantitative approach with a population of 110 permanent employees of Obor Mas Credit Union, while the sample was determined to be 52 respondents using the Slovin formula. Data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to respondents and processed using multiple linear regression analysis with the aid of statistical software. The research results indicated that human resource competence, accounting information systems, and internal control systems, both partially and simultaneously, did not have a significant impact on cooperative financial performance. This finding confirmed that improved financial performance was not solely determined by these three internal factors but rather requires more comprehensive strategic planning and managerial policies. This research was expected to contribute theoretically to the development of accounting science and serve as a practical consideration for credit union managers in improving the effectiveness of financial management.

This study is motivated by the increasing competition among cooperatives and the declining number of members at BMT Assyafi’iyah in recent years. This condition indicates the presence of various factors influencing people's decisions in choosing Islamic financial institutions. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of advertising, financial literacy, and personal selling on the decision to become a member of a savings and loan cooperative from the perspective of Islamic business principles. The research was conducted at BMT Assyafi’iyah, Sumberagung District, Pringsewu, involving 89 respondents selected through purposive sampling. A quantitative approach was used with the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using statistical techniques. The results show that advertising has no significant effect on membership decisions, while financial literacy has a significant influence, and personal selling is the most dominant factor. These findings suggest that financial understanding and direct interaction are more effective in attracting prospective members than advertising strategies.

This study looks at bad debt resolution strategies and their effect on the financial performance of Semerbak Citra Wangon Saving and Loan Cooperative (KSP) using the SPACE Matrix technique. The financial stability of cooperatives is severely threatened by bad debts, which can reduce liquidity and profitability. The four main dimensions of the SPACE Matrix approach - industry strength (IS), environmental stability (ES), competitive advantage (CA), and financial strength (FS) - were used to evaluate the cooperative's strategic position. The conclusion of the analysis, which places the cooperative in the aggressive quadrant (coordinates 5.00, 2.67), indicates that the cooperative has significant internal strengths and outward growth potential. Some recommended strategies include improved market segmentation, longer loan periods, liability restructuring, and lower interest rates. These strategies are expected to improve the cooperative's long-term financial stability and reduce the likelihood of bad debts.

This study aims to analyze bad debts on the financial performance of the Kupang City Branch of the Swasti Sari Savings and Loan Cooperative. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, with data analysis techniques using bad debt analysis and financial performance analysis by measuring financial ratios such as liquidity, solvency and profitability ratios. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of financial statements of the Swasti Sari Saving and Loan Cooperative, Kupang City Branch for a period of 5 years from 2019-2023. The results showed that bad debts at the Kupang City Branch of the Swasti Sari Savings and Loan Cooperative were caused by the inability of cooperative members to pay off their obligations so that the cooperative's receivables became difficult to collect and had an impact on the cooperative's financial performance as measured by the liquidity ratio from 2019 to 2023 which decreased because the cooperative's cash decreased and its receivables increased, the Solvency Ratio indicates an increase in risk due to increased debt without balanced asset growth. The Profitability Ratio shows a decrease in net income which affects the operational sustainability of the Kupang City Branch of the Swasti Sari Savings and Loan Cooperative. The results of this study provide recommendations for the Kupang City Branch of the Swasti Sari Saving and Loan Cooperative in overcoming the risk of bad credit, namely taking a rescheduling, reconditioning, and restructuring approach, applying prudential principles, conducting regular monitoring and monitoring of financial performance and credit risk so that cooperatives can make quick and appropriate decisions to maintain financial stability and operational sustainability.
