Agrarian conflicts in Lampung illustrate that land disputes are not only about ownership but also about how language shapes public perceptions of power and justice. This study aims to explain the changing patterns of media reporting on agrarian conflicts and the social meanings emerging from these changes. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with Fairclough’s critical discourse analysis and Lederach’s conflict transformation theory. Data were obtained from online news reports on agrarian conflicts in Lampung published between 2010 and 2025. The results show that earlier reports emphasized control and security, while later coverage shifted toward issues of justice, land rights, and community recognition. This change indicates that language in media reporting plays a crucial role in transforming public perspectives from a logic of authority toward a consciousness of justice and humanity. The study highlights the importance of fair and empathetic public communication as a foundation for peaceful and sustainable conflict resolution.

This study analyzes the short story Cinta Semata Wayang by Nuryana Asmaudi SA using a literary psychology approach grounded in Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalytic theory. The research applies a literature study with a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through close reading to identify structural elements and the psychological dynamics of the characters. The findings reveal marital conflict symbolized through wayang figures, particularly Rama and Sinta. Structurally, the story presents a progressive plot, symbolic and metaphorical language, and central themes of love and responsibility. The psychological analysis highlights the interaction of the id, ego, and superego within the main characters: Rama experiences tension between personal desires and moral norms, while Sinta demonstrates superego dominance through loyalty and emotional endurance. The short story emphasizes that true love is not solely based on emotion but also requires responsibility, commitment, and moral awareness as the foundation of a harmonious and sustainable relationship. This research contributes to literary psychology studies and deepens understanding of moral values in literature.

The diversity of Indonesian society, which consists of various ethnic groups, religions, cultures, and races, represents a great potential for the creation of a harmonious social life. However, the reality shows that intolerance and narrow fanaticism still often arise and even begin to influence students in the educational environment. This has the potential to create social conflicts and damage the nation's character in the future. This study aims to examine the role of education in shaping students to avoid fanatic behavior and social conflicts. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through relevant literature studies. The results of the study show that schools have a strategic role in instilling values of tolerance, inclusive attitudes, and religious moderation through learning, teacher role models, and a school culture that respects diversity. In addition, synergy between schools, families, and communities is needed to create an educational environment that is conducive to the development of students' character. Through the implementation of multicultural education and the strengthening of national values on a sustainable basis, students are expected to become a generation with strong character, tolerant, and able to live peacefully alongside others in a pluralistic society.

The agrarian conflict in the Kendeng Mountains, Central Java, arose due to the construction of a cement factory by PT Semen Indonesia, which was supported by the state through the issuance of environmental permits, even though several permits had been revoked by court decisions. The local community rejected the project because it threatened their water sources, environment, and livelihoods. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the state, corporations, and civil society in the agrarian conflict in Kendeng, as well as the role of civil society movements in responding to this conflict. The research uses qualitative methods with a literature study of journals and related news reports. Using Karl Marx's theory of conflict and Charles Tilly's theory of social movements, the study finds that the state tends to side with corporate interests, while civil society continues to build resistance through collective action, legal advocacy, public campaigns, and ecofeminist movements. The Kendeng conflict reflects the imbalance of power relations and the weakness of substantive democracy in natural resource management. The need for increased transparency in licensing, community participation, and ecological protection are the main solutions.

This research intends to examine conflict resolution and collaboration between units in the Department of Education and Culture of Sidoarjo Regency while carrying out regional priority programs. The research background arises from the increasing intricacy of bureaucracy and the overlapping jurisdictions among divisions, which impact the efficiency of implementing educational programs. This research utilizes a qualitative case study method, gathering data through comprehensive interviews, participatory observation, and analysis of institutional documents. Informants consist of structural officials, operational staff, and external partners like school leaders and education inspectors. The results indicate that conflicts can be functional or dysfunctional; functional conflicts encourage creativity in problem-solving, whereas dysfunctional ones obstruct cross-sector collaboration. Collaboration between units is successful on a technical basis but still lacks strength in the stages of planning and policy assessment. The conversation emphasizes that transformational leadership, transparent communication, and teamwork are vital for minimizing conflicts and improving coordination. In summary, the success of implementing regional priority programs in the Sidoarjo Education and Culture Office significantly relies on flexible conflict resolution and inter-sector cooperation founded on teamwork and openness.

The phenomenon of cockfighting still persists in various communities in Indonesia as a cultural practice, entertainment, and symbol of certain social identities. However, this practice raises serious issues when analyzed from the perspectives of modern bioethics, animal welfare, public health, and normative religious values, particularly maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah. This study aims to examine the ethical conflicts that arise from cockfighting by analyzing the biological and physiological impacts on animals, violations of animal welfare principles, and tensions between local cultural legitimacy and universal ethical standards. This research uses a descriptive-qualitative approach based on a review of relevant scientific literature, including national and international publications in the fields of bioethics, animal welfare, animal health, and law. The results of the study show that cockfighting systematically causes severe physical injury, extreme biological stress, behavioral disorders, and an increased risk of zoonotic disease transmission, so it can be categorized as a form of organized animal cruelty. From a bioethical and maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah perspective, this practice contradicts the principles of respect for life, non-maleficence, and protection of life and public welfare. The lack of legal protection focused on animal welfare reinforces the urgency of a transformative approach through regulatory reformulation, public education, and the development of non-violent cultural alternatives. This study is expected to serve as a scientific and ethical basis for policy formulation and contextual and sustainable animal protection efforts.

This article aims to explain the factors that cause divisions in the church, specifically the GKSI Makarios church, and what actions God's servants should take when faced with such a situation. Of course, this article uses two sources to resolve this issue, namely interviews and data such as books or other reading sources that discuss similar events related to the topic. It is hoped that this article will be a valuable lesson for ministers and congregations in dealing with every situation in the church. It is important to discuss this topic in order to educate readers that disputes are inevitable in church organizations. This research aims to understand how public perceptions and responses to social conflict are shaped in the digital era, marked by advances in information and communication technology. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and library research methods, this study analyzes various literature, journals, and previous research findings that address the relationship between digital media, social perceptions, and conflict dynamics. The results indicate that digital media plays a central role in shaping public perspectives on social conflict. Rapid, widespread, and interactive access to information makes it easier for people to engage in social issues, both actively through online campaigns and passively as observers. However, this phenomenon also poses challenges in the form of perceptual bias, the spread of hoaxes, and increased social polarization due to the dominance of certain narratives in the digital space. On the other hand, digital media also opens up opportunities for collective awareness, social empathy, and public participation in conflict resolution efforts. Therefore, improving digital literacy and media ethics are crucial factors in building a critical, rational, and peaceful society amidst the complexity of social interactions in cyberspace.

Multicultural counseling in schools serves as an essential strategy to reduce conflicts and foster cultural awareness among students. Counselors play a central role by developing their own cultural competence, facilitating students’ reflection on their cultural identities, providing education on stereotypes and biases, creating safe spaces for cross-cultural dialogue, and strengthening institutional capacity through collaboration with teachers and parents. This counseling strategy emphasizes understanding the values, norms, and power dynamics of each cultural group to ensure interventions are both effective and culturally sensitive. An inclusive learning environment supports this process by offering written policies, curricula that reflect diversity, dialogue forums, and cross-cultural activities. The evaluation process involves establishing clear objectives, quantitative and qualitative indicators, and mixed methods, including surveys, discussions, and direct observations, with participation from counselors, teachers, principals, parents, and student representatives. Local adaptation of instruments, continuous monitoring, and systematic documentation ensure data validity and the sustainability of behavioral changes. Evaluation results form the basis for concrete recommendations, such as counselor training, inclusive curriculum development, and programs to strengthen cross-cultural relationships. This approach enables schools to cultivate a culture of empathy, understanding, and harmony, thereby enhancing relationships among students from diverse backgrounds.

The Israel–Palestine conflict continues to generate widespread human rights violations, yet international responses are often fragmented due to the political dominance of developed nations, raising critical questions about the effectiveness of human rights protection. This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of how such dominance, particularly the use of veto power in the UN Security Council and the provision of direct political and military support, it affects the asymmetry of civilian protection and delays the cessation of hostilities. Using a doctrinal method with normative–qualitative analysis of resolutions, official reports, and global justice frameworks, this research also evaluates the effectiveness of normative diplomacy carried out by Indonesia and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in promoting ceasefires, accountability, and victim recovery. The findings indicate that vetoes and material support create systemic barriers to compliance with humanitarian law, significantly weakening efforts to protect human rights. Nevertheless, Indonesia’s and the OIC’s consistent diplomacy contributes to mobilizing international support, although their policy leverage remains limited in the absence of concrete enforcement mechanisms. The main implication of this study underscores the urgent need for a stronger architecture of global compliance, including restrictions on arms support that prolong conflict, conditioning international aid on human rights compliance, ensuring humanitarian access, and reinforcing the implementation of rulings and provisional measures of international judicial bodies, in pursuit of effective accountability and human rights protection.

This study aims to analyze and synthesize findings from various scientific literature on the implementation of multicultural counseling as an effective intervention in addressing language discrimination conflicts in school environments. Language discrimination (linguisticism) is a social justice issue that seriously impacts the psychological well-being and academic outcomes of minority students. Unfair treatment of someone based on their language is not only a social issue but can also cause students to feel sad and stressed, and can affect their grades or academic achievement. The research method used was a Systematic Literature Review, which focused on an in-depth analysis of the concept of multicultural competence and the role of counselor advocacy in a linguistic context.  The results of this study indicate that culturally respectful counseling can be an effective method to address language discrimination, by championing changes in the school system and making counselors more sensitive to cultural differences. This study concludes that the implementation of multicultural counseling is an effective way to create a fair learning environment and respect linguistic diversity.

Conflict is an inevitable phenomenon in every organization, whether in business, education, or social contexts. If not managed properly, conflict has the potential to reduce performance; however, if handled constructively, it can become a source of innovation. Based on this issue, this study aims to answer the main question: how is conflict understood and managed according to recent literature findings? The method used is a literature review by searching for articles through several online databases using the keywords "organizational conflict," "conflict management," "types of conflict," and "resolution strategies." From an initial search result of 17 articles, after a screening process, 15 articles met the criteria for further analysis. The analysis results reveal three main themes. First, conflict in organizations can be categorized into several types, such as intrapersonal, interpersonal, intragroup, and intergroup conflicts. Second, the sources of conflict often stem from differences in interests, ineffective communication, and unequal distribution of resources. Third, conflict resolution strategies vary, including mediation, collaborative communication, compromise, deliberation, and approaches based on religious values.

Conflict is an inevitable phenomenon in organizational life and has the potential to greatly affect performance, interpersonal relationships, and institutional sustainability. The complexity of interactions in educational, business, and social environments makes this issue increasingly relevant for in-depth study. This study aims to examine the development of scientific studies on types of conflict and conflict management strategies over the past six years. The main focus of the study is to answer two questions: what types of conflict are most dominant in organizations, and how are conflict resolution strategies applied in various institutional contexts? The research method used is a literature review with the main keyword “types of conflict,” through searches in several scientific databases. From the selection results, five relevant articles were obtained and then analyzed based on research themes and trends. The analysis results show three main findings. First, conflicts within organizations can be classified into intrapersonal, interpersonal, and intergroup conflicts. Second, conflict resolution strategies emphasize the importance of effective communication, collaboration, mediation, and participatory leadership in creating sustainable solutions. Third, ethical and religious dimensions are also important aspects in building fair and harmonious resolutions. This study confirms that effective conflict management requires a multidimensional approach that integrates managerial, psychological, and moral values. Researchers are encouraged to conduct comparative studies between institutions to enrich their understanding of organizational conflict dynamics.
