To address the negative impacts of teenage romantic relationships on peer dynamics and academic achievement at SMP Negeri 5 Sipahutar, school authorities implemented a regulation prohibiting dating, in line with Pancasila character education principles. This study aimed to evaluate the influence of this policy on fostering positive social behavior among ninth-grade students. The research employed a quantitative descriptive approach and involved 81 students as respondents. Data were collected using a four-level multiple-choice agreement questionnaire consisting of ten items. The analysis results showed a total score of 2707, a mean score of 33.42, a standard deviation of 4.8, and an average scale score of 3.34. The findings revealed that 78.2% of students agreed that the regulation encouraged peer cooperation, improved discipline in obeying school rules, and supported effective group learning. In addition, the policy appeared to contribute to a more positive school environment by reducing distractions associated with adolescent dating behavior. These findings indicate that school-based regulations can play an important role in shaping adolescent character and social behavior based on national values. Therefore, such policies may serve as an effective preventive strategy for educational institutions that aim to strengthen character education and promote responsible student conduct.

Reading ability is a fundamental skill that strongly influences the academic success of junior high school students, particularly ninth graders in preparing for national examinations. Nevertheless, many students continue to face difficulties in reading, including speed, comprehension, and motivation. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of implementing learning guidance services to improve the reading skills of ninth-grade students, while identifying supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach through literature review from relevant scientific sources published within the last ten years. The findings reveal that learning guidance services play a crucial role in enhancing reading skills, learning motivation, and student independence. Guidance and counseling teachers act as strategic facilitators, while support from the school environment and family strengthens the success of the program. The practical implications highlight that structured, continuous, and collaborative learning guidance programs can help students better understand reading materials and develop positive study habits. Practical recommendations are addressed to teachers, counselors, and schools to design more varied and student-centered guidance services.

The low level of students’ understanding of religious practices and Islamic values in daily life poses a significant challenge in teaching Islamic Religious Education (PAI). In the topic of “Hajj and Umrah” for Grade IX students at SMP PGRI Bencoy, Cireunghas District, Sukabumi, the learning process plays a vital role in shaping Islamic character and instilling noble morals. This subject not only emphasizes theoretical knowledge but also promotes a deeper understanding of the procedures for performing Hajj and Umrah in accordance with Islamic law. This study aims to critically analyze the learning objectives, content, methods, evaluation, references, and teaching materials used by teachers in the instructional process. A qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, as well as an analysis of learning documents. The findings reveal that PAI instruction on the topic of Hajj and Umrah is aligned with the basic competencies and curriculum requirements. However, shortcomings remain in the relevance of the material to real-life contexts, the limited use of technological media, and the less-than-optimal assessment of affective and psychomotor domains. Strengthening students’ understanding of Islamic teachings in their daily lives is essential for developing a holistic Islamic personality. Overall, while the teaching materials are relatively appropriate, further development is needed to make them more applicable, contextual, and impactful in enhancing students’ comprehension and practice of Islamic teachings in everyday life.

This study discusses the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to improve critical thinking in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMP Negeri 1 Bantarsari. The focus of this research is on the planning and implementation of the PBL model to improve students' critical thinking skills. The purpose of this study is to find out and describe in depth how the implementation of the Problem Based Learning model can contribute to improving students' critical thinking skills in the context of PAI learning. This type of research is a field research with a qualitative approach and is presented descriptively. The data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis is carried out through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. This research was conducted directly in the school environment so as to produce actual and contextual empirical data. The results of the study show that teachers have designed learning well through the preparation of teaching modules as guidelines. The implementation of learning is carried out in three main stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. At the implementation stage, the PBL model is applied through five steps: (1) orientation to the problem, (2) organizing students to learn, (3) individual and group investigations, (4) presentation of discussion results, and (5) reflection on learning outcomes. Evaluation is carried out on an ongoing basis both during the learning process and at the end of the activity. The application of this Problem Based Learning model has proven to be effective in increasing students' critical thinking. Students show improved ability to analyze, evaluate, and solve problems relevant to PAI material. In addition, students also become more active, independent, and used to expressing opinions in group discussions. Interaction between students increases positively, creating a collaborative and participatory learning environment. This indicates that the use of the PBL model can be the right strategy in developing students' critical thinking skills at the junior secondary education level.

The IPNU-IPPNU organization has an important role in character building of students at SMP Ma'arif Kalibawang, Wonosobo Regency in 2024/2025. This study aims to describe and analyze how the organization's activities are able to internalize character values ​​such as religiosity, responsibility, discipline, leadership, and cooperation through various activities based on direct experience and real-life practices. The method used is descriptive qualitative field research, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana analysis models. The results of the study indicate that the active involvement of students in the IPNU-IPPNU organization significantly improves aspects of character, soft skills, and student discipline, and equips them to become a responsible, religious, and competitive young generation in accordance with the paradigm of experience-based character education.

This study aims to determine the effect of using concept maps on the speaking ability of grade IX students of SMP Negeri 1 Jeruklegi in 2025. The background of this study is the ability to convey understanding orally, especially the gap between formal and non-formal speaking. Therefore, a way is needed to overcome this, one of which is by using concept maps. Using concept maps, students can see the relationship between concepts visually so that students can easily understand and remember information more precisely. This can improve students' ability to explain material systematically and logically. The method used is an experiment with two groups, namely the experimental group that was given treatment using concept maps and the control group that did not receive learning with concept maps. The instrument used was an oral speaking test before and after treatment. The results of the data analysis showed a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group, which indicates that the use of concept maps has a positive effect on students' speaking skills. These findings recommend the use of concept maps as an alternative to varied and enjoyable speaking learning.

At several levels of education, particularly at SMP Dewantara in Bekasi Regency, students continue to face difficulties in achieving satisfactory learning outcomes in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subject. The predominantly lecture-based teaching style in class IX.A has not been effective in encouraging active student participation, resulting in low mastery of the subject matter. The aim of this study is to improve learning outcomes by integrating the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model into PAI instruction. This study involved 12 students from class IX.A as subjects and was conducted over two cycles using a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) strategy. Data were analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively through observations, tests, and interviews. Based on the collected data, students' average scores increased significantly from 76.67 before the intervention to 98.33 in the second cycle. Learning mastery also improved from 58% to 100%. By creating a more dynamic, collaborative, and real-world-relevant learning environment, the PBL approach proved effective in helping students gain a deeper understanding of the subject matter.

This research is motivated by several problems that the author found at SMP N 5 Bukittinggi, especially in Islamic religious education subjects in class IX where in learning, educators are still minimal in utilizing learning media, the learning media used still uses powerpoint media and lecture methods, so that in the learning process students feel bored, bored and not enthusiastic about learning. To attract students’ interest, teachers must be more creative in using learning media. This research aims to develop audio visual learning media using the Kinemaster application on the subject of the hajj and Umrah pilgrimages that is valid, practical and effective. This research is development research which has 4 stages, namely the definition stage, design stage, development stage, and dissemination stage. The results of this research are that audio visual learning media using the kinemaster application received a final validation score of 0.84 in the valid category, the practicality score obtained by the teacher was 95 in the very practical category, the practicalitu score by students was 86 obtained in the very practical category, and the effectiveness score was 0.74 obtained in the very practical category effective.

Mistakes in writing during learning have become common, especially for students who do not fully understand writing. Inspirational texts are texts that can inspire readers through the author's writing, whether through imagination or facts that occur in real life, containing inspiring content. The purpose of this analysis is to improve the writing structure of texts produced by ninth-grade students, who often write without paying attention to proper writing conventions. The research method used in this study is descriptive-analytical. The sampling method used is a single inspirational text created by a student as the research material. The results obtained from the research and analysis of these spelling errors include 12 categories, but there are still some identical words that were not included because they have already been categorized.

This research is based on the results of an initial survey which proves that communication skills are lacking in class IX students at SMPN 5 Bukittinggi, this can be seen from when the teacher points to students to come forward, students refuse and prefer to point to their friends, students who remain silent when the teacher asks, and when forming discussion groups, only certain students are able to express their opinions, while muhadharah activities are activities that can train students' communication skills because in muhadharah activities students are always trained to stand in front of an audience to convey an idea, this is the attraction of researchers in this research so that The research objectives can be formulated as follows: (1) To determine the effect of muhadharah on the communication skills of class IX students at SMPN 5 Bukittinggi. (2) To find out what obstacles students face in muhadharah at SMPN 5 Bukittinggi. This research is located at SMPN 5 Bukittinggi. This data was collected using observation techniques. This research uses a Quasi experimental design type of research. This research design uses a pretest only design, namely an experimental design in the field of research that involves separating the experimental group and the control group. This design involves two classes, namely the experimental class. Before any treatment is carried out in the experimental group, initial observations need to be made which are called initial observations. After treatment, the experimental group needs to be re-observed with the aim of finding out what changes have occurred in the two groups after treatment. The results of this research show that. First, the implementation of muhadharah activities at SMPN 5 Bukittinggi, namely students giving speeches in front of their friends using free materials, guided by the presenter, opened with the reading of the holy verses of the Koran and sholawatan, followed by speeches and finally filled with remarks and prayers. by the teacher. Second, before the muhadharah activity was held, students' communication skills were low. After the muhadharah activity was held and the exercises given by the teacher, the students' communication skills and courage increased. Based on the muhadharah extracurricular activities table, there is a significant influence, namely sig. 0.000 < 0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that extracurricular muhadharah has an influence on students' communication skills.

The results obtained contained language errors in the categories of morphology, phonology, spelling and signs which included: 2 morphological errors, 4 phonological errors, and 1 spelling and punctuation error.

This research aims to describe the implementation of cultural arts learning (saman dance) in class IX 6 of SMP Negeri 34 Pekanbaru. In this study, researchers used E. Mulyasa's (2013) learning theory. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative method, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The author made observations and then interviewed several sources. The author examines the documentation regarding the information data that the author has obtained. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 34 Pekanbaru. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of cultural arts learning (saman dance) in class IX 6 of SMP Negeri 34 Pekanbaru is guided by the curriculum, syllabus and lesson plans. The curriculum used by SMP Negeri 34 Pekanbaru in class IX 6 is the 2013 curriculum which is implemented face to face. In preparing learning plans, arts and culture teachers are also guided by the 2013 curriculum which has been determined by the school and the syllabus is determined by the government and then adjusted to school conditions. The learning methods used are lecture, question and answer, discussion and practice methods. The media used when learning Cultural Arts (Saman Dance) are worksheets (students), printed books, and the internet. The tools used by teachers in teaching and learning activities are whiteboards, markers, assessment sheets, in focus, and speakers. The evaluations assessed by arts and culture teachers are the completeness of assignments, knowledge and skills.

This study aims to increase the interest in learning history among ninth-grade students at SMP Sinar Pancasila Betun through the application of the role-playing method. The research problem addressed in this study is how effective the role-playing method is in increasing students' interest in learning history and what factors influence the success of this method. The study uses a classroom action research (CAR) method, consisting of four cycles. Each cycle includes stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection instruments used include observation sheets and learning interest questionnaires. The results of the study show a significant increase in students' interest in learning after the application of the role-playing method. In the second cycle, the average student learning interest was at 66%, and it gradually increased to 81% by the fourth cycle. The discussion of these results indicates that the role-playing method not only increases students' interest in learning but also facilitates collaboration, active participation, and student creativity in the history learning process. Therefore, it can be concluded that the role-playing method is effective in increasing the interest in learning history among ninth-grade students at SMP Sinar Pancasila Betun.

The development of information and communication technology, especially mobile devices, has changed the learning landscape significantly. This research aims to examine the impact of using mobile devices in supporting the independent learning activities of class IX students at SMP PGRI Rancaekek. This research is motivated by the increasingly widespread ownership of mobile devices among students and their potential to increase motivation and learning effectiveness. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection through observation, interviews and documentation. The research subjects were class IX students and subject teachers. Data analysis was carried out inductively to identify emerging themes related to the impact of mobile device use. The research results show that the use of mobile devices has a positive impact on students' independent learning activities. Mobile devices provide easier access to various learning resources, facilitate communication between students and teachers, and increase learning motivation. However, the research also found several challenges, such as dependency on devices, lack of monitoring of use, and gaps in access. The implication of this research is the importance of integrating the use of mobile devices in the learning process. Schools need to develop clear policies regarding the use of mobile devices, provide training for teachers, and ensure equitable access for all students. In addition, further research is needed to examine the long-term impact of mobile device use on student learning achievement.

The Independent Curriculum is a program from the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia that focuses on developing student competencies through a student-centered approach. This curriculum aims to shift learning from memorization and exam patterns to strengthening critical thinking skills, problem solving, effective communication, and cooperation. In Islamic education, fiqh learning has an important role because it discusses Islamic laws related to everyday life, such as worship, muamalah, and manners. This study used a qualitative descriptive method and was implemented at MTs NU Slorok for 9th grade students. The results of the study showed that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in fiqh learning was carried out by integrating national character values, such as honesty, tolerance, and cooperation. These values are emphasized in the learning process and exemplified through everyday behavior. In addition, this curriculum also encourages student creativity and innovation by providing space to develop ideas in applying Islamic law in real life.

"The Influence of PAK Learning Interest Through the Implementation of the Game Based Learning Model for Class IX of SMP Negeri 4 Doloksanggul, Humbang Hasundutan Regency, Academic Year 2024/2025." Thesis: Christian Religious Education Study Program, Tarutung State Christian Institute. The aim of this research is to determine the positive and significant influence of Game Based Learning by PAK teachers on the interest in learning PAK of class IX students of SMP N 4 Doloksanggul for the 2024/2025 academic year. The method used in this research uses quantitative with a descriptive approach to inferential statistics. The population is all class IX students of SMP Negeri 4 Doloksanggul, Humbang Hasundutan Regency for the 2024/2025 academic year, totaling 149 people and a sample of 43 people was determined, namely 30% of the population using simple random sampling techniques. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire with 46 items. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence of Game Based Learning by PAK teachers on the interest in learning PAK of class IX students of SMP N 4 Doloksanggul for the 2024/2025 academic year: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) a positive relationship test obtained a value of rxy = 0.594> rtable = 0.301, thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable significant between variable b) Regression coefficient of determination test (r2) = 35.3%. 3) Testing the hypothesis using the F test obtained Fcount> Ftable=22.28>1.51. Thus Ha is that there is a positive and significant influence of Game Based Learning by PAK teachers on the interest in learning PAK of class IX SMP N 4 Doloksanggul Academic Year 2024/2025 is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Reading comprehension skills are a major focus in Indonesian language learning, especially in grade IX, as narrative comprehension helps students relate information in a broader context. The purpose of this study is to provide comprehensive guidelines for the development of more effective Indonesian learning materials and to strengthen the reading comprehension skills of grade IX students. This study evaluates the readability using Fry's Graph Formula and the effectiveness of sentences in narrative texts as teaching materials for reading comprehension in grade IX Indonesian literacy narrative books. By using the Fry's Graph Formula analysis method, this research helps to adapt the text to the intended grade level. Of the six narrative texts analyzed, there are three that have good readability, two that have poor readability, and one that has poor readability. In addition, this study analyzed sentence ineffectiveness. Sentence ineffectiveness can be caused by various reasons, such as word inefficiency, inaccurate use of conjunctions, inaccuracy in word usage, inaccurate use of punctuation, and meaninglessness. The results of the study provide insight into the quality of grade IX Indonesian literacy narrative teaching materials and contribute to improving students' reading comprehension and ability. The readability and effectiveness of the sentences in the grade IX Indonesian literacy narrative book are very important to ensure that the material presented can be well understood by students, thus having a positive impact on the learning process and the achievement of learning objectives.

A news text is a text that conveys news or information to the public about a factual and actual event. In the writing of news text should pay attention to the effectiveness of sentences so that the information conveyed can be accepted by readers and listeners. So, this research focuses more on analyzing the effectiveness of sentences contained in news text excerpts. The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of sentences in news texts for critical reading of grade IX junior high school students. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive method while the research data collection uses literature study techniques, namely listening and noting. The results of this study prove that sentence analysis shows the existence of effective sentences and ineffective sentences. Sentences are classified as effective if they meet several requirements, namely structural equivalence, word economy, accuracy of reasoning and logicality of language. Meanwhile, ineffective sentences are caused by the structure of the sentence not being unified, not parallel, and very wasteful or wordy. The practical benefit obtained is the ease of determining the effectiveness of sentences in news texts. The data taken in this research is in the form of effective sentences contained in CNN news articles about the February edition of the election for critical reading of grade IX junior high school students.

Through classroom action research conducted in two cycles, this study aims to improve the understanding of grade IX-I students of SMP Negeri 13 Surabaya on the material of main ideas and supporting ideas of descriptive texts by implementing the TPS cooperative learning model. The results of the study showed a significant increase in student understanding after the implementation of the Think Pair Share learning model. In the pre-cycle, the average student test score was 65. After cycle I, the average score increased to 78, indicating an increase of 20%. In cycle II, the average score reached 85, or an increase of 9% from cycle I. This increase is indicated by the increasing number of students who can correctly identify the main idea and supporting ideas of descriptive texts. In addition, student activeness in discussing and giving opinions also increased significantly. This shows that the Think Pair Share cooperative learning model is effective in improving students' understanding of the main idea and supporting ideas of descriptive texts.

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of PowToon media in learning to conclude the discussion text of Junior High School Class IX. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method to describe the use of PowToon media in the classroom based on observations and interviews conducted. The results obtained from this study are that PowToon media is effectively used for learning to conclude discussion texts because the media can attract students' interest so that students are not bored during learning. In addition, PowToon media can make it easier for teachers to convey various materials that cannot be conveyed only by the lecture method. Based on this, it can be said that PowToon's learning media can be used as a learning medium to conclude discussion texts as a support for the learning process.
