This article discusses the role of inculturation catechesis in Catholic faith formation for people with a Kaharingan faith background in Stasi Santa Anastasia Muara Napu, Mandam Parish, Diocese of Banjarmasin. Since 2014, there has been a gradual transition from Kaharingan to Catholicism in this area, which presents important challenges in integrating Catholic teachings with the strong Kaharingan culture. This descriptive qualitative research explores the strategic role of catechists as facilitators in delivering Catholic teachings in harmony with local traditions. The approach includes coaching for parents as the main pillar in the family and the Church, as well as how the inculturation process can help maintain the balance between faith and cultural identity. The results show that the inculturation approach by integrating the teachings of the Catholic faith and local culture is able to increase acceptance of Catholic teachings without compromising the cultural heritage of the people. The findings highlight the important role of catechists in accompanying the conversion process and supporting people in building families rooted in their traditional values.

This research aims to develop a family-based marriage catechesis module as a foundation for post-wedding accompaniment of young Catholic couples. Using a qualitative approach with document study, the research identifies five key gaps in Catholic couple accompaniment: discontinuity of pastoral care, non-transformative pedagogical approaches, minimal involvement of experienced families, lack of content contextualization, and weak communal support. In response, a module with spiral structure was developed for continuous accompaniment during the first four years of marriage, integrating theological-spiritual, relational-psychological, social-communal, and practical-contextual dimensions. This module operationalizes the concept of "family as pastoral subject" through a mentoring model where experienced couples accompany newly married couples. Implementation requires systematic selection and formation of mentor couples, balanced accompaniment structures, and adaptive approaches. Integration strategies within parish systems include institutional support, appropriate ecclesiological approaches, a "hub and spoke" model, gradual implementation, and utilization of digital technology. This research offers a more participatory, relational, and contextual approach to marriage pastoral care.

Catechesis towards Independent and Missionary Faith Formation (KBG) is an approach in religious education aimed at nurturing individuals who are firm in their faith, capable of independently experiencing and practicing their religious beliefs, and ready to actively disseminate religious teachings to others. This approach combines catechesis, faith formation, and mission skills development. Through this process, individuals are expected not only to become passive recipients of religious teachings but also to become active agents of change in spreading religious values and strengthening their faith communities.

The research is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Sacrosanctum Concilium (1963-2024). It is a special moment to reflect on the mystery of Crist celebrated in the liturgy. The main issue we are going to present is the relationship between song and liturgy and its function in liturgical celebrations. A song is a liturgical song when enters into the liturgy; it becomes part of the liturgy and takes a part in the purpose of the liturgy: to glorify God and sanctify the people of God. Liturgical songs lead them into the mystery that they are going to celebrate; as an accompaniment to ritual actions, adding the splendor and beauty of the celebration, or explaining and meditating the rite. Therefore, the text of the liturgical songs must be compatible with both the theological teachings and the actual celebration. It means liturgical songs are reserved to accompany liturgical celebrations only.
