Belawa Village, located in Lemahabang District, Cirebon Regency, West Java, is famous for the Labi-labi Belawa tourist attraction. This study aims to develop a sustainable tourism village at the Cikuya Tourist Attraction in Belawa Village. This model is expected to be an integrated solution to support the implementation of sustainable tourism. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with quantitative data analysis. The results of the study show that the implementation of sustainable tourism in Cikuya is evident through environmental preservation and the conservation of the Belawa turtle habitat. Although the management is not yet optimal, there are practices of utilizing organic waste, such as chicken manure for animal feed and coconut shells for souvenirs, supporting the circular economy concept. Community participation in cultural activities also supports the social and cultural aspects of sustainable tourism, although it is still incidental and has not yet been programmed sustainably. However, the implementation of sustainable tourism in Cikuya is not yet fully optimal, despite having strong natural and conservation potential. Structural and operational barriers, such as accessibility, human resources, institutional governance, economy, socio-culture, and policy support, affect the effectiveness of applying sustainability principles.

This study developed the Weton-Based Leadership Model as a leadership framework that integrates Javanese cultural values from the weton system with modern leadership theories, such as transformational, servant, charismatic, and situational leadership. Using a postmodern paradigm with an exploratory qualitative approach, this study utilizes pattern matching and explanation building methods through in-depth interviews with cultural experts and human resource management practitioners, as well as analysis of Javanese cultural documents. The results of the study identify five key components in the model, namely self-awareness, value alignment, situational adaptability, team harmony, and risk governance. These five components interact with each other to form contextual leadership that is in harmony with personal identity, organizational culture, and environmental demands. The practical implications of this study include the use of weton as a reflective instrument in recruitment, personalized leadership development, and the strengthening of an inclusive organizational culture. Further research is recommended to test this model in various industrial contexts through quantitative methods and longitudinal approaches.

Global economic developments show the acceleration of the adoption of circular business models, where resource efficiency and waste reduction are the main focuses to answer sustainability demands and SDGs targets. Although this trend is strengthening globally, MSMEs, especially those based on family businesses, are still lagging behind in their implementation, even though digitalization is increasingly opening up opportunities for operational optimization and innovation. The urgency of this research arises from the need to understand how the digital mindset and transformation of family business management can accelerate the readiness of MSMEs in implementing circular business practices. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of the three strategic concepts into a single analytical framework through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR), a perspective that has rarely been combined in previous studies. With the SLR method based on the PRISMA protocol, this study shows that MSMEs already have a strong foundation in the digital mindset, including technology readiness, innovation orientation, and adaptation of digital business models. Family business values have also been proven to support business continuity through knowledge transfer and long-term investment. However, the implementation of circular business practices is still weak, especially in resource cycle management, sustainable product design, and environmental impact measurement. The implication is that the synergy of digital mindset and family business governance can strengthen the transition of MSMEs to a circular economy that directly supports the achievement of the SDGs, especially in the areas of sustainable consumption-production and industrial innovation.

Cervical cancer remains a major public health problem and is one of the leading causes of cancer-related mortality among women in Indonesia. Early detection through Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) is an effective and feasible screening method at the primary health care level. However, the coverage of VIA screening among women of reproductive age (WRA) remains low. Knowledge is considered an important predisposing factor that may influence women’s motivation to undergo VIA screening. This study aimed to analyze the association between cervical cancer knowledge and motivation to undergo VIA screening among women of reproductive age. This study employed a quantitative analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 105 women of reproductive age were recruited using consecutive sampling at the Payangan Community Health Center, Gianyar Regency, Indonesia. Data were collected using validated and reliable structured questionnaires measuring cervical cancer knowledge and motivation to undergo VIA screening. Univariate analysis was performed to describe respondent characteristics, while bivariate analysis using the chi-square test was applied to examine the association between knowledge and motivation at a significance level of 5%. The results showed that 61.9% of respondents had good knowledge of cervical cancer, while 52.4% demonstrated low motivation to undergo VIA screening. A statistically significant association was found between cervical cancer knowledge and motivation to undergo VIA screening (p = 0.043). Women with higher levels of knowledge tended to have greater motivation to participate in VIA screening. In conclusion, cervical cancer knowledge is significantly associated with motivation to undergo VIA screening among women of reproductive age. These findings suggest that strengthening health education interventions at primary health care facilities is essential to enhance motivation and increase participation in early cervical cancer detection programs.

Extraction is a crucial stage in obtaining bioactive compounds from natural materials that have potential as medicinal, cosmetic, or nutraceutical ingredients. Among the various extraction methods available, maceration remains one of the most widely used techniques due to its simplicity, cost-effectiveness, and ability to maintain the stability of active compounds. The maceration process involves soaking powdered plant material in a suitable solvent at room temperature for a certain period, accompanied by periodic stirring to facilitate the diffusion of active compounds into the solvent. This method is particularly effective for extracting polar and semi-polar compounds such as flavonoids, phenolics, and essential oils that are sensitive to heat. The review shows that the effectiveness of maceration is influenced by several key factors, including the type and concentration of solvent, particle size of the material, duration of soaking, and stirring frequency. The use of ethanol with higher concentrations generally yields greater extract recovery and higher levels of active compounds. In addition, maceration is considered environmentally friendly because it requires no excessive heating and can employ safe, natural solvents. Therefore, despite the development of advanced extraction technologies, maceration remains a relevant, practical, and efficient method for phytochemical extraction, especially in laboratory research and small-scale herbal industries.

Development financing systems in various developing countries, including Indonesia, have been tested by repeated global crises, such as the 2008 financial crisis, the COVID-19 pandemic, and geopolitical tensions since 2020. The economy is highly dependent on external funding, such as foreign loans and foreign direct investment (FDI), making it vulnerable to disruptions and uncertainty in capital flows. This article examines the strategic role of domestic savings as a stabilizer in maintaining the resilience of development financing using a desk study approach. The literature review shows that mobilizing domestic savings through conventional and Islamic financial institutions is crucial for encouraging long-term investment, reducing dependence on external financing, and strengthening national fiscal independence. In the Islamic economy, the rise of yield-based savings instruments, productive waqf, and retail sukuk has helped expand a stable and equitable domestic funding base. Furthermore, this article finds that digital transformation, fiscal incentive policies, and financial literacy are key to increasing public participation in productive savings. Therefore, increasing domestic savings is an economic tool and a national defense strategy in facing ongoing global crises.
