This article discusses the role of zakat in alleviating poverty. Where zakat is something that is obligatory for the Muslim community. In the Qur'an it is explained that zakat is a responsibility for the Muslim community to help each other. So it can be interpreted that zakat is a moral element. social, educational and economic. In terms of morals, zakat wards off the greed and stinginess of some Muslims who have a sufficient economy. In education, the obligation to give zakat can be taken from the feeling of wanting to give, donate and also give up some of the assets we own as a sign of our love for others. In social matters, namely zakat, the poor can play a role in their lives, carrying out their obligations to Allah SWT, helping with zakat and sadaqah that have been given from people who are capable. As is the case with zakat, underprivileged people feel like they are part of society, or not even outcasts and are looked down upon. In economic terms, zakat can play a role in preventing the accumulation of wealth in the hands of just one person, and also requires rich people to redistribute the wealth they have to rich and poor family groups. So, zakat functions as a potential source of funds in terms of alleviating poverty. Zakat can also be working capital for poor people to open up employment opportunities, so that this group can earn income and also be able to meet their daily living needs. Taken from the feeling of wanting to give, donate, and also give up some of one's wealth as a sign of compassion for fellow humans. In social matters, namely zakat, the poor can play a role in their lives, carrying out obligations to Allah SWT, helping with zakat and sadaqah that have been given from people who are capable.

It is hoped that the growth and development of entrepreneurship can reduce the number of unemployed and increase prosperity. The entrepreneurial spirit of today's students has begun to decline because most students who have the mindset of wanting to work for a company do not want to create jobs. Entrepreneurship is the ability and willingness to develop, manage and running a business, including taking the risks involved in it to achieve profits, therefore an entrepreneurial spirit is very important for students. There are very few MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) nowadays due to people's interest in entrepreneurship and their lack of knowledge or insight into entrepreneurship. As for problems with MSMEs in Indonesia, such as weak business management capabilities, limited quality of human resources (HR), and weak access to financial institutions, especially banking. These businesses usually do not have a bookkeeping system, have difficulty expanding the business scale, and still have limited capital. Therefore, this independent entrepreneurship program can foster an entrepreneurial spirit and improve the quality of SMEs. The independent entrepreneurship program activities launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture are intended to study as well as exploring students' abilities to improve their entrepreneurial spirit and urging students to improve their entrepreneurial skills and make a positive impact on society.

Poverty can be a big problem for the country. By not having property, human life becomes completely limited. The lack of shelter, food and clothing facilities means they cannot meet their living needs as they should. Poverty is the main problem in the novel Keep The Aspidistra Flying where the main character suffers from poverty since birth. In the story, even though Gordon Comstock, the main character in this novel, was born into a poor family, he really hates money and state capitalism. He prefers to live independently with simplicity and persistence. This novel research uses the Hermeneutics method. Hermeneutics is a method that regulates methods of interpretation, namely the interpretation of texts and other signs that can be considered texts. This problem of poverty must be resolved immediately, otherwise many bad impacts will arise, one of which is long-term poverty.

Poverty is a condition that is still a problem in Indonesia. This can be seen from the still high number of poor people in Indonesia in 2021 reaching 26.5 million people. This poverty does not just happen, one of the reasons is because people's income is low and the poverty level is still low, making them unable to meet their daily needs. Eradicating poverty in Indonesia requires cooperation from various parties, both government and private. Therefore, the community service team together with YBM PLN UID North Sumatra is implementing a program based on local wisdom to improve the community's economy in the form of community empowerment in improving community welfare. This has an impact on people's income levels which are still low. This program includes providing business capital, skills training and business assistance. This article aims to describe the dual face of digital transformation. On the one hand, the communication and information technology revolution which has now reached the digitalization stage makes it very easy for humans to communicate and carry out their work. However, on the other hand, this progress also brings problems to humanity. By applying critical analytical studies, this research finds that the problems caused by the technological revolution are not only related to negative impacts as a consequence of the limitations and misuse of the technology, but are also related to more systemic impacts. Digital transformation has been inevitably connected to the capitalist system and the way how market works, which in practice makes the majority of humanity mere objects of exploitation and alienation. Recognizing this serious problem, this research also recommends that the ongoing technological revolution be addressed more critically and wisely.

Esources such as capital and office infrastructure. Human resources are the most important thing for an institution, because humans have the ability to set goals, collaborate, and work so that planned goals are achieved. Likewise, it is no less important than the office infrastructure in an institution that has a big influence in efforts to increase work efficiency and effectiveness. Therefore, an institution really needs office infrastructure that can be used by employees in carrying out their duties and responsibilities so that administrative activities and other operational activities can run well and smoothly. Office infrastructure is one of the factors that supports the success of an institution in achieving the organization's goals. Office facilities and infrastructure are an important part that need to be prepared ideally and continuously so that they can ensure the smooth running of employee work activities. Considering that office facilities and infrastructure are very important in efforts to facilitate employee work activities, therefore it is necessary to manage adequate facilities and infrastructure. Means are anything that is used as a tool to achieve aims and objectives, means are more indicated for moving objects such as computers and machines. Infrastructure is something that is the main support for the implementation of the process (Business, Development, Project), infrastructure is more indicated for immovable objects such as buildings, space, land. Work effectiveness is a condition that shows the level of success of management activities in achieving goals including quantity work, quality of work, and timeliness in completing work. Effectiveness is often associated with an efficient system, so that the service process takes place effectively, optimally and on time, thereby eliminating the need for overtime work with its implications. The efficiency of work processes, the level of effectiveness of office technology users, and the comfort of the work environment will directly and indirectly influence employee performance in completing assigned tasks. Apart from that, there are also various factors that influence work effectiveness, including: time, tasks, productivity, motivation, work evaluation, supervision, work environment, equipment and facilities. It is logical and appropriate if increasing effectiveness is made one of the government's long-term targets in implementing its strategy. Based on the phenomena presented above, it is clear that the Office of Industry, Trade, Energy and Mineral Resources of North Sumatra Province has not been well managed regarding infrastructure and has not complied with the appropriate regulatory principles. Problems like this should be addressed immediately and maximized so that in the future it can be as good as it should be. If this is resolved, it will certainly create a comfortable and conducive atmosphere so that employees can carry out their work responsibilities well and optimally. Therefore, the researcher was interested and conducted research as a result of an internship, with the title "The influence of the lack of office infrastructure on the effectiveness of employee performance

Community Service is a lecturer's obligation which must be carried out as an implementation and recognition of the Tridharma of Higher Education, and is a lecturer's concern for environmental sustainability and the existence of community life. One form of concern from researchers which focuses on the community economic sector is still being carried out in order to play a role in the development of the nation's economy. The methodological approach used by researchers is to provide counseling and assistance to micro, small and medium business actors in managing their businesses with marketing strategies to increase profitability in their businesses. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the economic implementers that give color to Indonesia. The number of MSMEs is increasing every year and has absorbed a lot of workers. The existence of MSMEs is part of human life activities to meet their daily needs as well as their existence in the era of economic globalization and the ability to survive in the face of the economic crisis and during the Covid-19 pandemic. Marketing also requires a strategy that will later be able to win a battle. Because he considers that there are many opponents in the market field who have similarities in their business and should not be turned off. As in the Pancasila economic system, fellow market players should have a sense of mutual care from large entrepreneurs towards smaller entrepreneurs. Therefore, it is necessary to have a Grand Strategy and a Core Strategy or what is called a Core Strategy. (Buchari, 2018) Almost every month MSMEs in the Jember Lor area continue to increase, more people choose business as a way to gain financial income for the family. However, MSME business is still carried out conventionally without any thought for the development of the business. As explained above, assistance is needed for MSME business actors who are willing to become respondents to gain knowledge about marketing strategies in order to increase profits and ensure that their business can survive and develop.

In today's digital era, the economy is a very important aspect for every human life in order to meet every need such as clothing, food and shelter. In Islam, every human being is encouraged to compete in trying, but Islam underlines that the intended effort should be in terms of goodness not the other way around which can plunge people into satanic acts. In this study the method used is a qualitative method. The informants in this study were eight traders and three buyers. The type of data used is primary data with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. Checking the validity of the data is done by testing the internal validity (credibility), preparing a triangulation plan, identifying informants and participants. Based on the results of this study indicate that the competition between traders in the Keramat Tinggi Market, Muara Bulian District includes five principles, namely unity (unity), balance (fairness), free will, responsibility, and truth. Of the five principles, most of the business competition activities carried out by traders are in accordance with Islamic business ethics, although there are some traders who carry out unfair business competition and conflict with Islamic business ethics, namely traders with large capital, setting prices below the prices of other traders and there are Merchants who report that the quality is not in accordance with their merchandise with the aim of turning off other traders and can harm the buyer. In implementing the five principles of Islamic business ethics there are obstacles to the principle of responsibility because there are some traders who actually provide insurance or compensation to the buyer if there is a defect in the goods and also some do not provide insurance to the buyer if there is a defect in the goods. But this happens not for the sole reason of making a profit, but to minimize the losses that occur.
