The objective this study is to analyze the implementation of Bandung Barat Regency Regional Regulation No. 5 of 2018 about the Placement and Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) originating from Bandung Barat Regency referring to the Hill and Hupe's theory of Policy Implementation. This matters all the more since the migrant worker-related cases that garner the highest volume if not interest–like illegal, clandestine worker departures, back wages, and exploitation–reflect the lack of protection systems, the unmet obligation towards the respect of individual rights and human dignity. This qualitative case study reveals key factors influencing policy implementation — low levels of socialization and knowledge about the regulation among migrant workers, absence of inter-agency coordination and poor resources for monitoring and enforcement In addition, it builds upon the variables presented by Hill and Hupe in order to present a more integrated analysis of the implementation process of the policy. These results highlight failures in the system, including the lack of inter- agency cross country collaboration and low resource allocation toward the functions that protect PMI. In light of this, the study makes a range of recommendations including for better policy socialization, improved inter-agency coordination and enforcement, and strengthening resourcing and legal compliance capabilities. Practical implications This study advances the theory of public administration and provides practical insights for policymakers, particularly for strengthening the protection of Indonesian migrant workers in an effective manner.

This study aims to analyze the reliability and performance of Rubber Tyred Gantry (RTG) cranes using the Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), and Inherent Availability (IA) methods. The MTTR method is used to measure the average time required for repairs, while MTBF calculates the average time between failures. Meanwhile, the IA method assesses the inherent availability of the equipment based on the previous two parameters. The results indicate that some RTG units experience high MTTR, such as RTG035-12, which recorded a repair time of 124.15 hours in January, and RTG035-13 with 441.23 hours in February. On the other hand, RTG035-19 demonstrated more stable performance with low MTTR in several months. In terms of MTBF, RTG035-16 recorded the lowest value of 0 hours in July, indicating significant disruptions, whereas RTG035-12 exhibited the best performance with the highest MTBF of 614 hours in December. The IA analysis revealed that some RTGs had low values, such as RTG035-13, which only reached 0.312 in February, while RTG035-19 maintained values above 0.95 throughout the year, demonstrating high reliability. This study provides insights into the performance of RTG equipment at the Semarang Container Terminal (TPKS) and emphasizes the need for effective maintenance strategies to enhance operational reliability and efficiency.

Modern Islamic philosopher and commentator Muhammad Abid Al-Jabiri helped advance the study of Quranic interpretation today. His critical thinking of Arabic reason made him famous among academics. Abid Al Jabiri's "revivalism" spirit motivated his criticism. In this case, the concept is related to the revival of Islam and efforts to change society. Abid Al Jabiri considered the current Islamic revival to be unsuccessful or even considered a failure. Based on this, Abid Al Jabiri wrote the next trilogy. This trilogy begins with his concern about the modern Arab discourse that cannot solve the problem of Islamic revival. The inaccuracy of Arabs in handling traditions (turats) is a factor that causes the Islamic revival to fail. Based on the perception of differences, the dialectic of understanding of contemporary Arab backwardness versus the dialectic of modern Western progress, the urgency of the Islamic revival does not depend on the orientation of development or its facts. According to al-Jabiri, formulating "the revival of Islamic civilization" is not easy, even unable to achieve progress, either in scientific planning or proportional utopian vision. After that, Al-Jabiri focused on turats (Islamic traditions), studying them and understanding them objectively to gain new insights. The main goal of Al-Jabiri's thinking on the whole turats is to realize socially transformative knowledge while maintaining the sustainability of the Islamic civilization revival program. This article examines Al-Jabiri's rational critique through the perspective of the bayani, irfani, and burhani epistemological trilogy and its implications for the development of modern Islamic economics. The main focus of this study is how the concept of rational critique can be applied to support the progress of Islam, especially in the context of Islamic economic theory and practice. This study highlights the relevance of Al-Jabiri's approach in formulating a more critical and progressive framework for Islamic economic thinking, while also responding to the challenges of modernization. This article also analyzes the contribution of the epistemological trilogy to strengthening Islamic financial practices in a global context. The research findings show that this integrative approach is not only relevant to the development of Islamic economics but also offers a solid foundation for innovation in facing the dynamics of the modern economy.

This study applies a qualitative research method with an intersectionality approach to analyze Mark Twain's The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, which explores issues related to race, gender, and class in the context of post-civil war America. The main focus of this research is how racial, gender, and class identities interact with each other in shaping the experiences of the characters, specifically Huck, a white boy from the lower class, and Jim, an escaped African-American slave. Through the analysis of their cross-racial relationship, this study highlights the complex power dynamics, where Jim is trapped in a racial and class hierarchy, while Huck struggles against social pressure from female authority figures representing patriarchy. The findings of this study suggest that character identities are shaped by the intersection of multiple factors, providing a deeper understanding of the challenges faced in maintaining or resisting oppressive systems of power. The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, a classic novel by Mark Twain, is a clear example of how literary works that criticize racial injustice can be misinterpreted and censored. Twain presents a scathing satire of American society, exposing its hypocrisy and failure to realize the promised values of equality. As such, the deep meanings contained within are buried under layers of superficial and biased interpretations.

This study aims to examine the theological significance of King David's removal of the Ark of the Covenant in 1 Chronicles 13:1-14, highlighting the critical nature of keeping God's commandments during worship. The research involved an examination of the text and its context, along with a comparison with the related narrative found in 2 Samuel. the research revealed that the failure of David and the people of Israel to follow God's instructions in moving the Ark according to God's instructions resulted in the death of Uzzah, which illustrates the consequences of ignoring God's holiness. The three-month stay of the Ark in Obed-Edom's house resulted in blessings, which reinforces the idea that God's presence is experienced when His laws are honored and obeyed. The results of this study underscore the importance of obedience to God's commandments.

Land issues in Indonesia show complex dynamics due to legal vacuum and legal loopholes in the applicable land law system. This condition is exacerbated by the weakness of implementing regulations of the UUPA which are unable to respond to developments in the era, thus opening up space for land mafia practices and overlapping development policies. This legal vacuum impacts violations of community rights to land, environmental degradation, and the failure to realize optimal legal protection. The study uses a normative legal approach based on secondary data from literature studies to analyze the urgent need for land law reform. The findings reveal the need for the land law system renewal to create stronger protection of community rights and ensure a sustainable development direction by environmental conditions.

The liquidation of a subsidiary in the banking sector is a strategic step with a significant impact on the financial performance, reputation, and sustainability of the parent company. This study aims to analyze the factors that drive liquidation, both internal such as financial performance, mismanagement, and legal compliance, as well as external such as market changes, natural disasters, and globalization pressures. Data were collected through academic literature review using qualitative approaches and data triangulation to improve the reliability of the results. The results of the study show that poor liquidity management, both due to internal and external factors, is the main cause of liquidation. The impact on the reputation of the parent company is dualistic: on the one hand it increases operational efficiency, but on the other hand it risks creating negative perceptions, such as management failures or employee losses. Therefore, companies must strengthen financial management, utilize technology to monitor cash flow in real-time, and develop flexible risk policies. Transparent communication with stakeholders is also important to minimize reputational impact. This study shows that effective liquidity management supports operational efficiency and increases public confidence, customers, and regulators, relevant for both Islamic and conventional banking in dealing with market dynamics.

Giving thanks in success is a natural and important part of a believer's life, especially when life is filled with abundance. However, the ability to remain grateful in the midst of failures and difficulties is a challenge in itself that tests the firmness of faith. In his letter to the Philippians, the Apostle Paul provides an example and an important message on how to remain grateful to God, even when he himself faced prison and suffering. This paper aims to explore the deep meaning of thanksgiving based on Philippians and how it can be applied in the daily lives of believers. Using a descriptive approach and relying on the Bible as the main source, this study reveals that Paul taught four main dimensions of thanksgiving: thanksgiving in suffering, thanksgiving in service, thanksgiving for Christ, and thanksgiving for God's blessings. True thanksgiving comes from a deep relationship with God, which enables one to remain steadfast in the midst of life's challenges. These principles become relevant to help believers live life with a grateful heart, both in easy and difficult circumstances, and find true peace in their faith journey.

The constitutional procedural law in Indonesia plays a crucial role in upholding constitutional supremacy, with the Constitutional Court (MK) serving as the guardian that reviews laws and resolves constitutional disputes. This article discusses the procedural law in MK, the challenges it faces, and its impact on law enforcement and justice in Indonesia. The enforcement of justice in Indonesia remains far from ideal, reflected in the chaotic legal system, structure, and culture. This study examines the Kanjuruhan Tragedy to provide an insight into the practice of law enforcement. The findings show that the state is legally responsible for the incident due to its failure to protect and fulfill the human rights of the victims. However, law enforcement in Indonesia remains discriminatory, sharp against the lower classes, yet blunt against the elites. It is hoped that law enforcement officers and the government will be more attentive and aware of the importance of fair justice enforcement, ensuring that all citizens receive legal certainty, order, and protection based on truth and justice.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of credit risk management in Islamic banking, which is a crucial aspect in maintaining business stability and sustainability. The research focuses on identifying credit risk control strategies, such as supervisory oversight by the board of commissioners, risk management policies, and internal control systems. The research method used is a literature review, examining various sources, including journals, books, and official documents. The article shows that credit risks in Islamic banking arise from customers' failure to meet payment obligations and involve concentration and counterparty risks. Islamic banks apply several strategies to address non-performing loans, such as rescheduling, restructuring, reconditioning, and, when necessary, collateral seizure. The implementation of credit risk management helps banks reduce potential losses and improve operational efficiency. Effective credit risk management enables Islamic banks to mitigate losses and maintain customer trust while adhering to Sharia principles and OJK regulations. With the right strategies, Islamic banks can ensure financial stability and sustain long-term growth..

Organophosphates are a group of compounds with toxic potential that inhibit cholinesterase, leading to the accumulation of acetylcholine at muscarinic, nicotinic receptors, and the central nervous system, which can result in death. Organophosphates are the most toxic insecticides compared to other types of pesticides and are often responsible for poisoning in humans. The symptoms of organophosphate poisoning vary widely. Each symptom depends largely on persistent acetylcholine stimulation or depression, followed by stimulation of the central and peripheral nervous systems. Early symptoms such as salivation, lacrimation, urination, and diarrhea (SLUD) occur in acute organophosphate poisoning due to stimulation of muscarinic receptors, leading to an increase in acetylcholine levels in the blood, eyes, and smooth muscles. Management of organophosphate poisoning involves stabilizing the patient, decontamination, and administering antidotes such as antimuscarinic agents, oximes, and anticonvulsants. Complications from organophosphate poisoning include respiratory failure, seizures, aspiration pneumonia, and even death. Postmortem examination of organophosphate poisoning may reveal cyanosis on the lips, fingertips, and nails, systemic or pulmonary congestion, dilation of the right heart, dark bluish-red livor mortis that forms more quickly, and a wider distribution of livor mortis due to high carbon dioxide levels.

The global food crisis has become one of the most pressing issues requiring serious attention, especially as the world's population continues to grow. This growth has led to an increasing demand for food, while agricultural resources such as fertile land, water, and labor become increasingly limited. These conditions present significant challenges for farmers, including droughts that damage crops, floods that devastate agricultural lands, and pest attacks that significantly reduce yields. Furthermore, global climate change exacerbates the situation, directly impacting the stability of food production. Unpredictable weather patterns threaten harvest success, increase the risk of crop failure, and decrease agricultural productivity. Therefore, innovative solutions, such as utilizing Internet of Things (IoT)-based technologies, are urgently needed to support the sustainability of the agricultural sector by enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, and global food security. This study aims to contribute to addressing these challenges through a modern technological approach

This research examines Judges 2:1-5 through a historically critical lens to explain their theological implications and relevance to contemporary audiences. The Book of Judges summarizes a pivotal period in Israel's historical narrative as they sought to defend their faith in the face of foreign cultural influences. This passage describes the warning of the Archangel of God to Israel for their failure to expel the Canaanites from the Promised Land, which had a detrimental effect on their religious and social dynamics. This analysis investigates historical context, literary composition, and symbolic elements, while also emphasizing central themes such as obedience to divine command, the impact of transgression, and the need for repentance. Using qualitative methodologies, including literary analysis and exegetical scrutiny, this study shows that loyalty to God is a prerequisite for receiving His help, while disobedience entails oppression and harmful influence. The continued relevance of this text serves as a poignant reminder of the necessity of upholding unwavering devotion to God in the midst of life's vicissitudes.
