Elderly people have a high risk of suffering from degenerative diseases, one of which is metabolic disorders. This is more widely recognized by the elderly when they are already in severe condition and with complications so that it has an impact on various aspects including increasing morbidity and mortality rates, as well as decreasing quality of life of the elderly and decreasing ability of the elderly to carry out daily activities. Metabolic disorders are caused by increased blood glucose levels in the body known as Diabetes Mellitus (DM) which is one of the health problems of the ten diseases that cause death and disability globally. The implementation of community service activities for Preventive Efforts for the Elderly in Diabetes Mellitus through several stages, namely the survey and field observation stages and counseling for Preventive Efforts for the Elderly in Diabetes Mellitus counseling is carried out for approximately 90 minutes, as well as evaluations in the form of pre-tests and post-tests. The provision of education was carried out on Wednesday, November 14, 2024 at the Antara Health Center, the number of participants was 32 people. Based on the results of the knowledge of the elderly before and after the counseling for Preventive Efforts for the Elderly in Diabetes Mellitus, it was found that 15 elderly people had sufficient knowledge and 17 elderly people had insufficient knowledge. After conducting counseling on Preventive Efforts for the Elderly in Diabetes Mellitus, the results obtained were a sufficient increase of 30 and less than 2 elderly. This means that community service on Preventive Efforts for the Elderly in Diabetes Mellitus is very effective in the elderly in order to prevent an increase in glucose levels. Counseling on preventive efforts for the elderly in diabetes regarding these degenerative diseases is very necessary so that the elderly maintain their health better. The elderly are expected to be able to understand about efforts to prevent and treat degenerative diseases in the elderly with diabetes. Hopefully this community service can be a reference for researchers and further community service, as well as the community.

Knowledge about sexual harassment committed by males with intellectual disabilities remains limited, despite extensive research on offenders without disabilities. Evidence from the late 1990s suggests that Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can be effective for this population, with adjustments for cognitive deficits. This study systematically reviews the application of CBT to address cognitive distortions in sexual offenders with intellectual disabilities. Data were sourced from Web of Science, PubMed, Scopus, ProQuest, Jstor, and Emerald Insight. Articles were assessed using QATFQS for quality and ROBINS-I for bias risk. Six studies involving 127 participants (ages 17–65 years) demonstrated that CBT effectively reduced cognitive distortions up to 12 months post-intervention. Success factors included the presentation of information, therapist engagement, participant motivation, prior experiences of sexual harassment, and autism spectrum diagnoses. Strengths included simplified CBT interventions, availability of manuals, and group implementation. Weaknesses involved reliance on core steps adapted from general sexual offender programs, limited manual accessibility, and a lack of control groups for evaluating intervention effectiveness.

Victims of sexual harassment against people with disabilities experience severe consequences. In addition to being vulnerable to prejudice or discrimination, this minority group also has difficulty in accessing adequate legal protection. The purpose of this article is to examine the legal protection provided to people with disabilities who are targets of sexual harassment in society. The research method used is a normative literature review that examines relevant laws, regulations, and practices. According to this study, although there are legal instruments such as Law Number 8 of 2016 concerning Persons with Disabilities and Law Number 12 of 2022 concerning Criminal Acts of Sexual Violence (TPKS), there are still a number of obstacles in implementing these laws effectively, such as lack of public awareness, limited access to legal infrastructure, and social stigma against individuals with disabilities. The results of this study highlight the need to improve the capacity of law enforcement, build accessible facilities, and educate the community to create a safe and supportive environment for people with disabilities. This article offers suggestions on tactics to improve legal protection and achieve social justice for victims of sexual disclosure who have disabilities.

The risk of sarcopenia and metabolic complications in the elderly can be caused by the aging process and decreased muscle mass in the elderly group. Sarcopenia and obesity in the elderly also increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and physical disability, which have the potential to reduce quality of life and increase morbidity and mortality. The purpose of this community service activity is to screen protein levels and lipid profiles in the elderly group in order to detect the risk of sarcopenia and dyslipidemia early. This activity is carried out using the Plan-Do-Check-Action (PDCA) method which includes planning, implementation, supervision, and follow-up. The community service activity was carried out at Panti Bina Bhakti, South Tangerang, involving 93 elderly participants aged >65 years. The results of the activity showed that 35 people (37.63%), 9 people (9.68%), 35 people (37.63%), and 7 people (7.53%) each had abnormal lipid profiles for HDL, Cholesterol, LDL, and Triglycerides. While 24 people (25.81%) had abnormal albumin levels. Persons with disabilities represent a diverse segment of society, facing unique challenges in accessing public services such as education, healthcare, and employment. In response, Indonesia ratified the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) through Law No. 19 of 2011, which serves to promote, protect, and ensure equal rights and fundamental freedoms for individuals with disabilities. This commitment led to the enactment of Law No. 8 of 2016, replacing an earlier, more compassionate framework with one emphasizing equality and the protection of rights for persons with disabilities. The law defines individuals with disabilities as those facing long-term physical, intellectual, mental, or sensory limitations and emphasizes the necessity of special protections to uphold their rights and prevent discrimination. The method used in this study is a normative legal research method. This study evaluates the effectiveness of disability rights protection policies in Indonesia, revealing significant challenges despite the legal framework established by Law No. 19 of 2011. Access to education, healthcare, and employment remains limited due to inadequate facilities, discriminatory practices, and social stigma. Effective solutions require strengthening the legal framework, increasing awareness, and involving the disability community in policy planning. Furthermore, robust monitoring and enforcement mechanisms are essential for safeguarding rights. To enhance protections, improved coordination among ministries, ongoing training for service providers, inclusive education practices, and recognition of employers who hire individuals with disabilities are critical. These measures are vital for fostering a more equitable society and ensuring the rights of persons with disabilities are upheld sustainably.

This literature review investigates the paradox of diversity by examining how Critical Race Theory (CRT) challenges conventional approaches to equity and inclusion in organizational settings. The study explores the limitations of traditional diversity management frameworks, which often focus on representation or meritocracy without addressing deeper systemic issues of racism and discrimination. By applying CRT's principles of intersectionality and social justice, this review highlights how diversity programs that neglect to confront historical and structural power imbalances may fail to achieve true equity. The findings suggest that CRT offers a more comprehensive approach to understanding diversity, enabling organizations to create strategies that address inequities at their core. However, the review also acknowledges the limitations of applying CRT in diverse global contexts and the challenges organizations may face in implementing these strategies. The study concludes by recommending further empirical research on the outcomes of CRT-based diversity initiatives and suggests expanding the focus beyond race to include other dimensions of diversity such as gender and disability.

Disability refers to the limited roles experienced by people with disabilities. In most groups of society, the existence of disabled people is often viewed negatively. Based on the concept of normality, this group of people tends to give a negative stigma to people with disabilities as abnormal or abnormal humans. What people with disabilities experience is considered a curse, a hereditary disease, or even the result of sinful actions. The Catholic Church in its various teachings places disabled people as God's ideal creatures who are equal to other humans. Specifically, in his apostolic exhortation Amoris Latetitia, Pope Francis invites families and Christian communities to accept and respect the rights of people with disabilities. The presence of disabled people should be seen as a gift from God, and the acceptance of families and Christian communities is the work of the Holy Spirit and a testimony of the gift of human life. This research is a descriptive qualitative study which aims to understand and find concrete implementation of the Catholic Church's view of people with disabilities from the perspective of Amoris Laetitia. The research results show that the Catholic church's views in Amoris Laetitia can be the basis for inclusive pastoral care to open up, embrace and involve people with disabilities in all aspects of church life. Forms of inclusive pastoral care that can be carried out include providing education and awareness about disabled people for the church community, providing accessible facilities for disabled people, providing pastoral and spiritual support, and actively involving disabled people in liturgical and other church activities.

One reason for the lack of information regarding the economic costs of disability or death and the benefits of immunisation when children in the vicinity are not fully immunised is the discovery of signatures. Many people are confused by the terms vaccination and immunisation. Immunisation is given to neonates as soon as possible because it can avoid primary diseases through vaccination. If the baby receives the right vaccination, he will be protected from dangerous diseases such as disabilities. Basic immunisation of infants and toddlers is a routine immunisation programme as well as an additional immunisation programme to prevent communicable diseases (PD3I) such as tuberculosis, diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, polio, hepatitis B, and measles to reduce morbidity, mortality and disability in infants and children. BCG once, DPT-HB three times, Polio four times, HB Uniject once, and measles once are the basic vaccines. These vaccines must be given to all infants to prevent diseases from entering the body. The method used was analytical survey research. Exploration of how and why this phenomenon occurs is the goal of the analytical survey research approach.
