This study discusses the innovation of Arabic language learning strategies based on communicative skills that emphasizes mastery of four main aspects, namely listening (istima'), speaking (kalam), reading (qira'ah), and writing (kitabah). The background of the research departs from the problem that Arabic language learning in many educational institutions is still dominated by traditional approaches that focus on memorization and translation. As a result, students have difficulty in applying Arabic actively and communicatively. This research aims to describe the concept of language skills-based learning, identify effective methods, and analyze obstacles and implementable solutions. Using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods through literature studies, observations, and interviews, this study found that language skills-based approaches are more effective in improving communication skills than traditional methods. Methods such as Direct Method, Communicative Approach, Audio-Lingual Method, and Total Physical Response (TPR) have been proven to be able to increase students' participation and language competence. In addition, the use of digital media and interactive applications strengthens the learning process. However, limited resources, lack of interactive media, and lack of practice time are major challenges. This study concludes that technology integration, improving educator competencies, and preparing a practice-based curriculum are the keys to the success of Arabic language learning that is communicative and relevant to the needs of the modern era.

Early childhood represents a golden period that is vital for the development of all aspects of a child’s abilities, particularly language skills. Speaking ability plays a central role as it serves as a child’s primary means of communication and social interaction. However, not all children achieve speech milestones appropriate for their age. Speech delays can negatively affect social, emotional, and academic growth if not identified early. This study aims to identify speech delays in early childhood through classroom interactions and to analyze the role of teachers in early detection and stimulation of language skills. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the study involved ten children aged 4–6 years at Siti Khadijah Kindergarten. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model comprising data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Findings revealed that two children showed signs of speech delay, characterized by limited vocabulary, unclear pronunciation, and difficulty forming simple sentences. The main contributing factors were a lack of verbal stimulation at home and excessive gadget use, which reduced direct communication. Activities such as circle time, role-playing, and storytelling were found effective for detecting and stimulating speech development. Teachers play a crucial role as early detection agents, working collaboratively with parents to ensure continuous stimulation at home. Strengthening teachers’ capacity to observe, identify, and support children with speech delays is essential for promoting optimal language development.

This study aims to analyze the communication skills of early childhood students in class B1 at TK Negeri Pembina. The background of this study stems from the importance of early affective development, particularly communication skills, which form the foundation of children's social-emotional and cognitive development. The research method used a quantitative approach with seven children (3 boys and 4 girls) as subjects through checklist instrument observation, which was then analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. The results showed that most children (90%) had excellent communication skills, particularly in listening, storytelling, remembering, and self-expression. However, 10% of children still experienced difficulties in understanding and speaking, such as difficulty processing information, conveying ideas clearly, and asking for help when needed. These findings emphasize that children's communication skills need to be continuously developed through creative and interactive learning strategies, such as role-playing, storytelling, and providing a rich language environment. The role of teachers and parents is an important factor in facilitating children's communication development by creating positive interactions, setting a good example in language use, and creating a conducive learning atmosphere. Thus, the development of communication skills from an early age contributes greatly to children's affective, social, and academic development in a sustainable manner.

University students often face psychological challenges, one of which is anxiety, which can negatively affect learning and academic performance. This study aims to explore the anxiety experienced by students of the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting (KPI) Department at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, particularly during classroom presentations. A qualitative method was employed, using in-depth interviews with selected KPI students as participants. The findings reveal that anxiety is triggered by academic pressure, social expectations, and a lack of self-confidence. The impacts include reduced concentration, difficulty speaking in public, and challenges in expressing ideas. Despite these issues, students employ various coping strategies, such as thorough preparation, individual practice, and support from peers. These findings are expected to contribute to the development of a more supportive learning environment that considers students' mental well-being.

Adolescence is a transition period from childhood to adulthood marked by various physical, emotional, and social changes. One of the main challenges faced by adolescents is a lack of self-confidence, which can hinder the development of self-potential and social interaction. Based on observations at the Taruna Yodha Sukoharjo Children's Social Service Center, it was found that many adolescents showed an inferior attitude, were afraid of being wrong, and were reluctant to express their opinions in public. Therefore, this community service aims to increase awareness of the importance of self-confidence through interactive socialization. The implementation method includes four stages, namely the presentation of material on the concept of self-confidence, discussion of personal experiences, providing positive affirmations, and ice breaking to build familiarity. This activity was attended by most of the adolescents at the center and succeeded in increasing active participation from 20% to 50%. Although there were still obstacles such as limited time and the difficulty of some participants in expressing themselves verbally, the evaluation results showed an increase in social interaction and enthusiasm in implementing positive affirmations. This activity proves that an interactive approach can be an effective solution in fostering adolescent self-confidence. For more optimal results, ongoing programs such as public speaking training and psychological assistance are needed. It is hoped that teenagers in the shelter can continue to develop their potential and face social challenges with more confidence.

Learning in elementary schools plays an important role in developing children's social and speaking skills. However, many students have difficulty communicating effectively and interacting with peers. This study aims to analyze the application of the role-playing method in improving the social and speaking skills of grade II students at MI Nahdiyah, Tanah Tinggi Village, Tapung Hilir District. This study uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which is carried out in two cycles. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Observations are made to observe changes in students' social behavior and speaking skills after the application of the role-playing method. The data obtained are analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of the study indicate that the role-playing method is effective in improving students' social and speaking skills. Children become more confident in communicating, are able to work together, and express their opinions better. Thus, this method can be an alternative to fun and interactive learning for elementary school students.

Bell’s Palsy is an acute peripheral facial nerve paralysis that causes unilateral facial weakness. The exact cause remains unclear but is suspected to involve anatomical factors, infections, viral reactivation (especially Herpes Simplex Virus), ischemia, inflammation, and cold exposure. The incidence is 20-30 per 100,000 people annually, with no gender or age preference, though it is more common in middle-aged and elderly individuals. Risk factors include diabetes, pregnancy, preeclampsia, obesity, and hypertension. Symptoms develop suddenly, peaking within 48 hours, and include facial asymmetry, difficulty closing the eyes, eating, speaking, and sensory-motor disturbances. Most cases recover spontaneously within weeks to months, but corticosteroids and antiviral therapy can accelerate recovery. Proper diagnosis is crucial as Bell’s Palsy is often mistaken for stroke or other neurological disorders.
