Religious beliefs and culture cannot be separated from one another because religion exists within a particular culture, and local culture influences religion. Although religion is supposed to encourage humanity to create peace and prosperity on Earth, it has instead become one of the factors causing violence and the destruction of humanity, necessitating actions to prevent these issues from arising. Christian Religious Education (PAK) has an educational, social, and participatory role in the life of a pluralistic society. Essentially, PAK is an effective learning medium to instill Christian principles in every member of the church, serving as a foundation for their existence in society. The method used in the writing of this paper is a descriptive qualitative method.

This study aims to explain the concept of ecological repentance according to the encyclical Laudato Si in responding to violations of nature that occur in Nunukan Regency, North Kalimantan. This study also aims to understand the call of the encyclical Laudato Si that it is important to protect and preserve nature as part of human life. This study is a development of philosophical reflection on dynamic and metaphorical nature by FX. Eko Armada Riyanto, in his book entitled Menjadi-Mencintai: Berphilsafat Theologis Sehari-hari and also as a reflection on the call of the encyclical Laudato Si that the universe is a common home that must be maintained for the sake of creating universal fellowship in God. Departing from Armada Riyanto's philosophical reflection, the author is moved to provide further reflection on the destruction of nature that is occurring in the world today, specifically nature in Nunukan Regency, North Kalimantan. Ecological problems such as forest destruction that occurs in Nunukan Regency are the destruction of nature which is a common home as a place of fellowship of all creation. Therefore, the Church through this encyclical loudly voices ecological conversion for all believers so that with it humans can once again knit harmony with the created nature. In this paper, the author presents a philosophical study that describes nature as an entity that has great value and dignity, so that the existence of nature is not only seen as a reality of entertainment or a tool to satisfy human needs, but also as part of human life. In addition, the author also provides an understanding of the importance of ecological conversion that must begin with the awareness that created nature is God's creation that must be guarded, maintained and protected with concrete communal actions to maintain the integrity of nature in Nunukan Regency. The methodology used in this study is a qualitative method by conducting a literature study related to the theme discussed. In addition, the methodology used is a literature study of several previous studies that are also related to the theme discussed in this paper.

Banking has an important role in the development and support of the country's economy, especially after the enactment of Law Number 10 of 1998 concerning Banking. Islamic economics in Indonesia has now begun to be recognized and approved by the public, given the proliferation of Islamic-based banks making people understand the systems in Islamic economics. The establishment of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) in 1975 triggered the establishment of Islamic banks around the world including Indonesia. The birth of Law Number 21 of 2008 concerning Islamic Banking is a guarantee for the existence and legal protection of Islamic banking after the last decade of its existence which only regulates one of the principles of profit sharing which does not definitively and comprehensively regulate bank activities based on sharia principles. The method used in this research uses qualitative research methods using interview, observation and documentation techniques. This type of research uses descriptive analysis. The development of Islamic economic law in the future must increasingly refer to the protection of the benefit of the people by using maqashid sharia as a methodology and perspective. To establish economic law that falls within the scope of muamalah fiqh, a comprehensive mastery of ushul fiqh is absolutely necessary, especially to find and determine the legal illat for ongoing economic practices. Failure to determine the illat leads to failure to master the source of the problem. The current Islamic economics only talks a lot about distribution and consumption, such as the distribution of money and capital claimed to be without usury and halal product certification, and does not appear to talk much about production and all aspects related to it, such as ownership of land, resources, capital and by the private sector and conglomerates, including the fulfillment of labor rights, destruction of nature by production activities, and so on. The determination of the illat and maqashid of sharia in the economic field is also expected to pay more attention to the material conditions in which unequal production relations between community groups have resulted in economic colonization and which are very detrimental to society, especially those who are in a weak position in terms of capital, resources and power.

Violations of quarantine regulations in Batam City continue to occur to this day. Despite the enactment of Law No. 21 of 2019 concerning Animal, Fish, and Plant Quarantine, which replaced Law No. 16 of 1992 on the same subject and introduced stricter criminal sanctions for violations, there has still not been a deterrent effect on those bringing prohibited items without meeting quarantine requirements. This research addresses how the authority and implementation of quarantine investigators' powers are regulated in handling cases of animal entry that have bypassed the designated import and export points in Batam City, what obstacles or challenges quarantine investigators face, and the solutions at the Animal, Fish, and Plant Quarantine Office of the Riau Archipelago at the Hang Nadim and Telaga Punggur Service Units. The research method combines normative legal research with empirical sociological approaches, utilizing both inductive and deductive methods to analyze and clarify the relationship between research variables and the research object. This approach aims to provide a comprehensive understanding that benefits readers, particularly future researchers and academics. The findings reveal ongoing uncertainty among quarantine investigators in enforcing quarantine regulations in Batam City. This issue arises from differing interpretations of Law No. 21 of 2019 among quarantine officers and the shortage of human resources, which affects investigators' focus on legal enforcement actions, including criminal sanctions. In Batam City, the resolution of quarantine regulation violations prioritizes the philosophy of "ultimum remedium" where punishment is seen as a last resort. Administrative sanctions for quarantine violations include quarantine detention, rejection, and/or destruction of the violating items.

The ornamental fish business is experiencing quite rapid development and has promising economic prospects. Ornamental fish is one of the fishery commodities that has the potential to become an export commodity because ornamental fish originating from Indonesia are in great demand by the international market. The development of the ornamental fish market is increasing but is not followed by a sufficient number of ornamental fish breeders and the lack of regulation of marine ornamental fish exporters in Indonesia, can trigger exporters to over-exploit natural ornamental fish to meet the needs of the ornamental fish market which can result in several species of marine ornamental fish It is threatened with extinction and causes the destruction of coral reefs because several types of coral reefs have direct symbiosis with fish. This research uses qualitative research methods or field research depending on what happens in the field, in this case PT Agung Aquatic Marine. The data analysis used is qualitative descriptive data analysis with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Based on sales data for ornamental Clownfish (Amphiprion Ocellaris) from 2022 to 2023, sales show that sales continue to increase. Meanwhile, Clownfish (Amphiprion Ocellaris) which experienced a decrease in orders from customers include Clownfish (Amphiprion Ocellaris) with size (S). This could be caused by the quality of the fish not matching the customer's taste. However, there are also Clownfish (Amphiprion Ocellaris) whose orders continue to increase every month, such as Clownfish (Amphiprion Ocellaris) with size (M) and Black Clownfish (Amphiprion Ocellaris). This is because these ornamental fish have good quality according to customer tastes. Direct marketing of Clownfish ornamental fish (Amphiprion Ocellaris) at PT Agung Aquatic Marine can be said to be effective because it has been able to achieve sales targets and company goals that have been previously set.

Sustainable development is a development paradigm that is directly related to the balance of nature or the environment, just as the paradigm of sustainable development is a concept that is accepted as a political agenda of development for all countries in the world where the relationship between economy and ecology is important in the discussion of sustainable development itself. Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs The concept of sustainable development is a necessity to reconcile economic development, quality of life, and the environment in a diverse political framework that is interrelated at the international and global levels. Thus, it can be concluded that the meaning of sustainable development cannot be separated from environmental sustainability. A sustainable environment is expected to support human life. Sustainabledevelopment that is environmentally sound is able to improve the quality of life of present and future generations. Therefore, it is necessary to review the concept of local wisdom that exists in legislation and other Regulations that hierarchically exist under it to close loopholes and fence in such a way that the claims of local wisdom remain sacred and not easily perverted casually by the detractors of commercial economic interests for a moment. On the other hand, it is necessary to be aware of political elites and stakeholders to avoid intervention and political content of decisions taken by the government in intervening in cases of environmental damage under the pretext  of natural  disasters which are part of the bad side of law enforcement for environmental destruction, especially in the application of Strict Liability without having to prove a mistake.

Forest areas are open natural resources that have potential and an important role in supporting human needs. However, as time goes by, natural resources in the forestry sector are starting to decline due to the large number of business entities or corporations carrying out illegal logging activities. If this is allowed to continue continuously, damage to Indonesia's forests will increase and will have a major impact on the economy due to decreased state income. The research method used in this research is a normative legal method which examines Law Number 18 of 2013 concerning Prevention and Eradication of Forest Destruction and other laws as research material by taking a statutory approach (Statute Approach) obtained from literature studies ( Library Research). This research aims to determine the impact of illegal logging carried out by corporations and to determine criminal legal sanctions for illegal logging carried out by corporations based on Law number 18 of 2013 concerning Prevention and Eradication of Forest Damage. The development of modern society in the process of globalization and industrialization has had a huge impact on forest sustainability as a support for life and in the world's biological life. The existence of forests is of course very much needed considering that forests are not only a source of wood production but are also an integral part of the environment, forests are open areas that make people's access to use them very large which causes logging and timber theft. In order for this to happen more often, this problem must be addressed immediately for the sake of the preservation of forest ecosystems in Indonesia. This journal writing uses normative research methods, normative methods are used with a statutory approach and use reference materials from book sources or other scientific research. As for the results of this study, the regulation of illegal logging is contained in the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 41 of 1999 concerning Forestry in Article 50 which regulates prohibitions for anyone who carries out activities in the form of logging, Article 50 also discusses the prohibition of carrying out forest destruction activities. and confiscation of forest resources in violation of laws and regulations or without permission from interested parties, namely forestry officials.
