Tuberculosis (TBC) in children remains a serious public health problem in Indonesia, with the 0–14 age group accounting for 16.2% of total notified cases in 2024. The uneven distribution of cases across provinces is thought to be influenced by various social determinants, yet spatial studies specifically on childhood TBC at the national level remain scarce. This study aimed to analyze the spatial pattern of childhood tuberculosis cases and social determinants in Indonesia in 2024 using a spatial ecological design across 38 provinces. Analysis included descriptive statistics, thematic mapping using QGIS, Moran's I test, and Local Indicator of Spatial Association (LISA) with queen contiguity weighting matrix. Results showed a strong positive spatial autocorrelation with a Moran's I value of 0.612. High-high clusters were identified in DKI Jakarta, Central Java, Banten, and West Java, which simultaneously recorded high population density and low primary healthcare ratios. Territory-based interventions should be prioritized in these hotspot provinces.

Income inequality and poverty continue to be major challenges in Indonesia's industrial areas, especially in DKI Jakarta, West Java, and Banten, although minimum wage policies continue to be developed as a form of protection for low-income workers. These policies theoretically serve as an instrument for income redistribution and improvement of labor welfare, but their effectiveness in reducing inequality and reducing poverty rates is still questionable, especially in areas with highly industrialized economic structures. This study aims to analyze the influence of income inequality, poverty rate, economic growth, and unemployment rate on the dynamics of the provincial minimum wage in the 2016–2023 period. The study used secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency and analyzed using panel data regression to obtain a comprehensive empirical picture of the factors determining the minimum wage. The test results show that the Fixed Effect Model is the most suitable model for capturing variations between provinces and between times. Key findings reveal that poverty levels and economic growth have a significant influence on changes in the minimum wage, while income inequality and unemployment rates have no significant influence. The conclusion of the study emphasizes that the minimum wage policy is not effective enough in reducing income inequality and reducing poverty without the expansion of the formal sector, improving the quality of the workforce, and distributing economic growth more evenly between industrial areas.

This research discusses the Juridical Analysis of the Application of Government Regulation Number 16 of 2021 concerning Building in DKI Jakarta Province. The focus of the research is directed at the effectiveness of local policies in adjusting national regulations to the diverse urban dynamics of Jakarta, especially related to the Building Approval mechanism (PBG), supervision system, and enforcement of administrative sanctions. Using a normative juridical approach and analyzing local regulations such as Government Regulation No. 16 of 2021 on the Implementation Regulation of Law No. 28 of 2002 on Building, this research identifies implementative obstacles, such as weak supervision, limited human resources, and low public legal awareness. The findings show that adaptation efforts have not been fully optimized, so policy adjustments, institutional strengthening, and cross-sector collaboration are needed. This research confirms the importance of digitalization, public participation, and consistency of law enforcement in creating orderly and sustainable building development in Jakarta.

This study aims to evaluate the transparency and effectiveness of the use of the 2025 Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) in flood management in DKI Jakarta Province. Although the provincial government has allocated a large budget, the problem of flooding is still an annual issue that has not been resolved. Using a qualitative case study approach and George C. Edward III's policy implementation theory as an analytical tool, this study examines four key variables: communication, resources, implementer disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The results of the study indicate that policy implementation faces various obstacles such as communication with minimal public participation. Limited technical and human resources, implementer caution due to bureaucratic pressure, and weak integration between agencies. This study concludes that the problem of flooding in Jakarta is not only related to technical aspects, but is also a reflection of the suboptimal regional financial governance and sustainable and accountable public policy implementation system.

This study aims to analyze and visualize the distribution of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia throughout 2020 with a spatial-based quantitative approach. The data used was obtained from the official report of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia as of December 30, 2020, including the number of confirmed cases, recovered, and died. The analysis was carried out by integrating clustering methods and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) using Quantum GIS (QGIS) software. The visualization results show significant spatial variations between provinces, where provinces with high population density such as DKI Jakarta, West Java, East Java, and Central Java are recorded as areas with the highest caseload. In addition, areas with limited health facilities also show a high potential risk of transmission and death. Cluster patterns of positive and cured cases generally show similarities, while mortality rates show spatial inequalities that are important to look at. These findings emphasize the importance of spatial data integration in area-based policy planning for pandemic control. Spatial visualization not only facilitates understanding of distribution patterns, but also supports more effective and targeted decision-making.

Issues regarding people with disabilities in the world of work are still often overlooked, leading to minimal job opportunities for people with disabilities. As a result, many individuals with disabilities face high unemployment rates. According to the International Labour Organization (ILO), 82% of people with disabilities in developing countries live below the poverty line. They experience significant challenges accessing employment, healthcare, information, and political participation, often facing fewer job opportunities than individuals without disabilities. The National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS BAZIS) DKI Jakarta Province is one of the institutions that focuses on empowering people with disabilities through its Difabis program. The program serves as a platform for people with disabilities to train their work abilities, engage in learning, express creativity, and gain equal employment opportunities. This study aims to examine (1) How Difabis Coffee and Tea has implemented programs to empower people with disabilities, (2) What types of skills training are provided by Difabis Coffee and Tea to empower people with disabilities, and (3) What supporting factors and leadership factors influence the effectiveness of the empowerment process at Difabis Coffee and Tea. This research employs a qualitative approach, using data from observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the empowerment provided by Difabis Coffee and Tea through skills training has led to positive changes for individuals with disabilities. Participants who once felt helpless now have greater independence, self-confidence, improved communication skills, and an income from the skills they have developed.

The problem related to violation of RTRW is actually a common issue until now. Like the recent case, namely the fire that occurred at the Pertamina Plumpang Depot. The fire incident could actually be prevented by implementing proper spatial planning regulations. Based on the Regional Regulation (Perda) of DKI Jakarta Number 1 of 2012 concerning the 2030 Regional Spatial Planning, fuel oil (BBM) depots are required to have a buffer zone. Unfortunately, at the Pertamina Plumpang Depot, this buffer zone does not exist, so that residential areas are too close to the dangerous depot area. The purpose of this study is to find out the Annotation of the State Administrative Court Decision Number: 124 / G / LH / 2016 / PTUN-BDG. This research method uses a qualitative approach, with a special method applied, namely meta-analysis. Meta-analysis is a research technique used to combine findings from previous studies related to the same research topic. The results of the study show that among others Based on case information, it is known that there are 6 (six) plaintiffs who sued the Decree of the Head of the Investment and Integrated Licensing Agency of West Java Province Number: 660/10/19.1.02.0/BPMPT/2016 concerning the Environmental Permit for the Construction and Operational Activities of the 1x1000 MW Cirebon PLTU, Astanajapura District and Mundu District, Cirebon Regency by PT Cirebon Energi Prasarana. This research aims to analyze the implementation and effectiveness of the women's quota in the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of DKI Jakarta Province during the 2014-2024 period. The women's quota is an affirmative policy designed to increase women's representation in the legislature, regulated by Indonesia's electoral law. Although this policy has been implemented, there are still various challenges that hinder women's participation in politics, including cultural, social, and structural barriers. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with Deputy Chairman of DPRD , Legislative Candidate, Academics , Sociologist and Law/ Political observers, as well as analysis of official documents and related reports. The results show that despite an increase in the number of women in the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD ) of DKI Jakarta Province , the women's quota has not fully achieved its goals. Some of the factors that affect the effectiveness of this quota include the lack of support from political parties, strong gender stereotypes, and obstacles in the recruitment and selection process of female candidates. This research also found that the existence of women's quotas alone is not enough to increase women's participation in politics. Further efforts are needed, including political education for women, capacity building for female legislator candidates, and reforms in the political party system to support greater involvement of women. In conclusion, the women's quota in the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) of DKI Jakarta Province still faces various challenges in its implementation, and additional strategies are needed to overcome these obstacles in order to achieve more equitable and inclusive representation.

The real source of a country's riches and an essential component of its development are its people. We can determine the extent to which human resources are of high quality from the perspectives of the economy, health, and education thanks to the HDI. DKI Jakarta is the province in Indonesia with the highest HDI, while Papua and West Papua have the lowest HDIs. Both provinces get special funding known as special autonomy funds and are recognized as special autonomous areas. Even after Papua was given special autonomy funds twenty years ago, it is still the province in Indonesia with the lowest HDI. Improving the Human Development Index (HDI) mostly depends on spending in the areas of economy, health, and education. This study looks at the impact of spending on the economy, health, and education as well as local government expenditure (DOK) on the HDI. Using secondary data from the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance (DJPK) and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), panel data regression is the study methodology employed. The study's findings show that DOK has a favorable impact on the HDI, as does spending on the economy, health, and education

This research aims to examine the status of DKI Jakarta after the plan to move the National Capital to East Kalimantan. We know that before the plan to move the National Capital, the center of Indonesia, both in terms of government, economy and resources, was centered in the DKI Jakarta area. Of course, after the construction of the National Capital in East Kalimantan, precisely in the North Penajam Paser area, the center of economic government and resources will gradually be moved to the Kalimantan region. This is where the position of DKI Jakarta, which was previously the National Capital, will change status to become a province in general and will give rise to several domino effects that will follow when DKI Jakarta's status no longer becomes the National Capital of Indonesia. The data collection method was carried out by studying literacy and statutory regulations and conducting qualitative descriptive data analysis to find out what the future status of regional autonomy will be for the DKI Jakarta region after the move of the National Capital.
