This study aims to identify the influence of profitability, liquidity, and asset structure on the capital structure of pharmaceutical sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2019–2023 period. The study spanned five years, from 2019 to 2023. Of the total 15 companies in the population, 7 companies were selected as samples using a purposive sampling method. The research data were sourced from annual financial reports accessed through the official IDX website. Data processing was carried out using multiple linear regression methods. Capital structure was measured using two indicators: the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and the Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR). The analysis results showed that profitability had no effect on these two capital structure indicators. Conversely, liquidity and asset structure were shown to influence both DER and DAR. This study provides insight into the factors influencing debt financing decisions in pharmaceutical companies and their implications for the company's financial stability.

This study examines the influence of firm size, profitability, solvency, and public accounting firm (KAP) size on audit report lag among food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021–2024 period. The research employs purposive sampling, involving 68 companies with a total of 272 observations, and uses multiple linear regression analysis after passing all classical assumption tests. The findings reveal that profitability measured by Return on Equity (ROE), solvency measured by Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR), and KAP size have a significant effect on audit report lag. Meanwhile, firm size (measured by total assets and total sales), profitability measured by Return on Assets (ROA), and solvency measured by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) show no significant effect. These results indicate that companies with higher ROE, greater DAR, and those audited by Big Four accounting firms tend to complete their audit process more promptly. The study highlights that both financial performance and auditor characteristics play essential roles in determining audit timeliness. Overall, this research provides valuable insights for management, auditors, investors, and regulators to enhance the efficiency and reliability of financial reporting.

This study aims to analyze the effect of liquidity and solvency ratios on the profitability of PT GoTo Go-Jek Tokopedia Tbk. The liquidity ratio in this study is measured using the Current Ratio (CR), while the solvency ratio uses the Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR). The research data includes the 2018–2020 financial statements of PT Tokopedia Tbk and the years 2021–2023 after the company transformed into PT GoTo Go-Jek Tokopedia Tbk. The research method uses a descriptive quantitative approach with secondary data from the company's annual financial statements. The results show that the company's liquidity ratio fluctuates in the range of 1.55–3.14, while the DER is in the range of 0.12–0.42 and the DAR is between 0.17–0.34. The results of the simultaneous test showed the value of sig. The F Change of 0.003 < 0.05 indicates that CR, DER, and DAR have a less significant correlation relationship with Return on Assets (ROA). A determination coefficient value of 0.382 showed that 38.2% of the ROA variables were influenced by CR and DAR, while the remaining 67.8% were explained by other factors outside the model. Overall, the research findings confirm the importance of efficient debt management and optimization of capital structure to increase the company's long-term profitability.

The purposes of this study analyze financial distress of non-food retail companies registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) between 2021 to 2024, as impacted by profitability, liquidity, leverage, and firm size. The sample criteria were as follows: (1) companies operating in the non-food retail sector and listed on the IDX during the specified period; (2) companies that consistently presented complete annual financial statements for each year; and (3) companies whose financial statements indicated that they reported a profit in the current year. Purposive sampling was employed to select the sample, resulting in 25 companies with a total of 100 observations. This research employed a quantitative approach using secondary data. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression in SPSS version 25. The results of the partial test (t-test) revealed that profitability (ROA) and liquidity (CR) had a significant positive effect on financial distress. This suggests that higher profitability and liquidity increase the Altman Z-Score, thereby reducing the risk of a company experiencing financial distress. In contrast, leverage (DAR) and firm size (LN) were found to have no significant effect. These results emphasize the dominant role of internal factors, particularly profitability and liquidity, in shaping the financial condition of non-food retail companies in Indonesia.

Tuberculosis (TB) remains a major health problem in Indonesia, particularly in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) where overcrowding and low awareness increase transmission risks. This community engagement aimed to improve knowledge, early detection, and reduce TB stigma at SMA Dar El Iman Islamic Boarding School, Padang. A participatory approach was conducted from July to September 2025 involving 34 female students. Activities included health education, student cadre formation through the Red Cross Youth (PMR), TB symptom screening, and anti-stigma campaigns. Results showed students’ knowledge improved from 45% to 90%, five student cadres were established as peer educators, and three suspected TB cases were referred to health facilities. Evaluation indicated increased awareness of dormitory hygiene, ventilation, and peer support. This program highlights pesantren as a strategic platform for TB prevention and early detection. In conclusion, school-based TB education and screening effectively enhance students’ capacity and support the national TB elimination target by 2030.

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of profitability and capital structure on corporate income tax (PPh) payable at PT Kediri Tani Sejahtera during 2018–2022. The research uses a quantitative descriptive approach with primary data obtained through interviews and documentation of the company’s financial statements, including annual income statements and balance sheets. The analysis involves calculating profitability ratios, namely Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE), as well as capital structure ratios, namely Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and comparing them with the annual corporate income tax payable. The results indicate that net profit before tax and PPh payable were below 4.8 billion IDR annually. Trend Moment analysis shows that profitability has a significant relationship with PPh payable, while capital structure also affects PPh, though not directly. The company’s asset size impacts depreciation recognized as an expense in the income statement, influencing the tax amount due. This study confirms that managing profitability and capital structure is crucial for tax planning and compliance in manufacturing companies, particularly in the organic fertilizer industry.

This study aims to examine the effect of Return on Assets (ROA), Debt to Assets Ratio (DAR), and Total Assets on Audit Delay in food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020–2024 period. Audit Delay is defined as the time interval between the end of the fiscal year and the issuance date of audited financial statements by independent auditors. The timeliness of financial reporting is a crucial element for stakeholders in evaluating company performance, enhancing transparency, and supporting decision-making processes. Therefore, understanding the factors that influence audit delay is important in the context of both regulatory compliance and corporate governance. This research adopts a quantitative methodology using multiple linear regression analysis. The data used are secondary data obtained from annual financial reports published and accessible through the official IDX website. The study sample consists of 33 companies, resulting in 165 observations. After conducting outlier analysis, the final dataset comprised 83 observations. Data analysis was carried out using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) Version 22. The results show that Return on Assets and Total Assets do not have a significant effect on Audit Delay. This indicates that profitability and company size are not the main determinants of audit timeliness in this sector. However, the Debt to Assets Ratio was found to have a relatively positive effect on Audit Delay. This finding suggests that companies with higher leverage tend to be audited more quickly, possibly because auditors and stakeholders pay greater attention to firms with higher financial risk. Thus, a company’s capital structure plays an important role in influencing the timeliness of audit completion.

This study aims to analyze the effect of leverage measured by Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) and activity ratio measured by Total Asset Turnover (TATO) on profitability measured by Return On Assets (ROA) at PT ABC Indonesia Tbk for the 2015–2024 period. The analysis is carried out both partially and simultaneously to provide an overview of the factors that affect the company's profitability. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative with secondary data obtained from the company's annual financial statements, in the form of balance sheet and income statements. Data analysis methods include t-test, f-test, and determination coefficient (R²). The results of the study show that partially, the Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) does not have a significant effect on the Return On Assets (ROA). This indicates that the company's leverage level, in the form of a comparison of total debt to total assets, did not directly contribute to the level of profitability during the study period. Similarly, Total Asset Turnover (TATO) is also partially unaffected by ROA. These findings suggest that the effectiveness of a company in utilizing total assets to generate sales has not fully affected profitability. However, the results of the simultaneous test (F test) showed that DAR and TATO together had a significant effect on ROA. A determination coefficient value (R²) of 0.6037 or 60.37% indicates that the variation in the company's profitability can be explained by these two independent variables. Meanwhile, the remaining 39.63% was influenced by other factors outside the research model, such as operational efficiency, cost structure, marketing strategy, and external conditions of the retail industry. Thus, this study confirms the importance of comprehensively considering leverage and asset activity in managing a company's profitability, although the partial influence of each variable has not shown strong significance.

This study aims to examine the influence of financial performance ratios—namely, the liquidity ratio (Current Ratio/CR), solvency ratio (Debt to Asset Ratio/DAR), and activity ratio (Total Asset Turnover/TATO)—on the return on assets (ROA) of companies in the automotive sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2020–2023. Employing a quantitative research approach with purposive sampling, the study focuses on automotive sector companies that met specific criteria over the observed time span. Data analysis was conducted using EViews version 13 software, and the methodology included descriptive statistics, panel data estimation, classical assumption tests, panel data regression analysis, t-tests (for partial effects), F-tests (for simultaneous effects), and coefficient of determination (R²) tests. The partial test results reveal that the liquidity ratio (CR) has a negative but statistically insignificant effect on ROA, indicating that higher liquidity does not necessarily enhance profitability. Similarly, the solvency ratio (DAR) demonstrates a negative and insignificant effect on ROA, suggesting that increased debt levels are not significantly associated with lower returns. In contrast, the activity ratio (TATO) has a positive and significant effect on ROA, implying that better asset utilization contributes positively to profitability. When tested simultaneously, the combination of CR, DAR, and TATO shows a positive and significant influence on ROA, indicating that these financial ratios collectively impact the profitability of automotive companies. These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of how internal financial indicators relate to profitability in the automotive sector and can inform management decisions and investor evaluations.

Determining the scale of priorities in Islamic jurisprudence is an important method in decision-making in accordance with the principles of Islamic law. This principle is based on the rules of Islamic jurisprudence such as prioritizing obligatory obligations, prioritizing public interest, and preventing damage (dar'u al-mafāsid), which serve to balance individual needs and community interests. In this context, Islamic jurisprudence facilitates a systematic and proportional approach to various life problems. These principles emphasize that in order to achieve maqashid al-shariah (the goals of Islamic law), priority must be given to matters that are urgent, primary, and have the greatest and most sustainable benefits. Thus, the scale of priorities becomes an important instrument in ensuring justice, interest, and continuity in policy-making and actions. Understanding and applying these rules of Islamic jurisprudence enable Muslims to make decisions that are appropriate, balanced, and contextual, according to the situations and conditions faced. This study emphasizes the importance of the concept of the scale of priorities as a normative basis in realizing decisions that are just and beneficial for all people.
