Algorithmic technologies are widely used in contemporary marketing strategies due to the growth of the digital economy. Digital companies can evaluate consumer activity data in real time and provide highly personalized digital experiences thanks to artificial intelligence-based solutions, especially machine learning. In addition to examining how algorithmic governance and surveillance capitalism affect algorithmic personalization, this study looks into how these mechanisms affect consumer engagement, purchase intention, and perceptions of hyperreality within the digital market ecosystem. 356 active users of digital platforms, such as social media and e-commerce, were surveyed as part of this study's quantitative methodology. The links between the constructs in the suggested conceptual model were examined through data analysis using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that the development of algorithmic personalization systems is strongly influenced by data-driven capitalism practices and algorithmic governance. Additionally, it has been demonstrated that algorithmic personalization improves customers' sense of hyperreality and increases their interaction with digital platforms. Additionally, the study shows that the most powerful factor influencing purchase intention is consumer interaction. By combining viewpoints from technology, the political economics of data, and hyperreality theory into a thorough empirical framework, these findings add to the body of knowledge on digital marketing.

Business competition in the culinary sector continues to increase along with changes in people's consumption patterns towards ready-to-eat food. One product that is quite popular is fried dim sum, which is known for its variety of flavors and relatively affordable prices. In this competitive environment, understanding how consumers perceive product price and quality is crucial for businesses to maintain and increase customer interest in purchasing goods. Consumer perceptions of product price and quality when they choose fried dim sum are the subject of this study. Informants were selected purposively in this study, which used a qualitative and descriptive approach, namely consumers who have purchased and consumed fried dim sum products. Data collection methods included comprehensive interviews, direct observation, and supporting documentation. The collected data were analyzed using an interactive analysis model developed by Miles and Huberman through steps such as data reduction, data presentation, and discovery. The results show that consumers view price as an indicator related to the affordability and suitability of the product value. Price is considered acceptable if it is commensurate with perceived quality. In addition, product quality, including taste, texture, cleanliness, and packaging, is a primary factor considered before making a purchase. Positive perceptions of product quality increase customer trust and encourage repeat purchases. This study concluded that customer perceptions or opinions about price and product quality influence fried dim sum purchasing decisions. Therefore, culinary businesses need to prioritize proportional pricing and maintain consistent product quality to enhance business competitiveness.

This study aims to analyze customer perceptions of the Mobile UGT service program at BMT UGT Nusantara Labang Branch and its role in improving digital financial literacy among the public. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of five active customers who have used the Mobile UGT service. The results show that customers generally have a positive perception of the Mobile UGT service. The application is considered easy to use, practical, and able to facilitate various financial transactions such as checking balances, transferring funds, and making payments, without having to come directly to the BMT office. In addition to increasing transaction efficiency, the use of Mobile UGT also contributes to improving customers' digital financial literacy, as reflected in their increased understanding of income and expenditure management, budget planning, utilization of digital transaction features, and awareness of data and account security. However, this study also found several obstacles, mainly related to technical disruptions to the application and internet network limitations. Overall, the Mobile UGT service plays an important role in supporting customers' financial independence and digital financial inclusion. This study recommends strengthening technological infrastructure and continuing education programs to optimize the benefits of digital financial services in the BMT environment.

This study aims to analyze traders’ perceptions and behaviors toward the implementation of sharia principles in Islamic banking products and services. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, involving traders at Parung Market selected through purposive sampling. Data were obtained through in depth interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using thematic analysis through coding, categorization, and pattern identification. The findings reveal that most traders hold positive perceptions of core Islamic banking values such as fairness, transparency, and the prohibition of usury. However, their understanding of sharia contracts varies and is not fully comprehensive. Despite these positive perceptions, actual behavior does not always align, as traders often prefer conventional banks for business transactions requiring speed, efficiency, and more reliable digital services. This indicates a clear gap between religious intentions and economic practices, commonly referred to as the intention behavior gap. The study concludes that improving Islamic financial literacy, strengthening digital service innovation, and enhancing service quality are essential to promoting wider adoption of Islamic banking products.

The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through in-depth interviews and direct observations involving cooperative management, employees, and customers. Data were analyzed using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that TQM implementation has been relatively effective, reflected through three key components: customer value strategy, organizational systems, and continuous quality improvement. Services are perceived as responsive, polite, and informative, supported by adequate delivery facilities. The main challenge lies in occasional delays in feed delivery caused by weather conditions, which affect customer perceptions of reliability. Overall, TQM contributes positively to service quality, customer satisfaction, and operational effectiveness, although further improvements in risk management and service consistency are needed to achieve optimal quality.

This study aims to explore how gold price volatility influences customers’ investment decisions in Islamic banks within the framework of Islamic values. Employing a qualitative phenomenological approach, the research investigates the perceptions, motivations, and strategies of twelve active customers of Bank Syariah Indonesia in Surabaya through in-depth interviews. The findings reveal that gold price volatility does not necessarily reduce investment interest; instead, it stimulates adaptive and reflective behavior grounded in religious commitment and Islamic financial literacy. Investment decisions are shaped by three main factors: rational risk perception, religious conviction in the permissibility of gold as an Islamic instrument, and trust in the integrity of Islamic financial institutions. Thus, gold price volatility is interpreted not only as an economic signal but also as a social and spiritual phenomenon that fosters financial maturity among investors. The study concludes that faith-driven investment behavior contributes to financial resilience and moral stability amid market uncertainty. These insights enrich the field of Islamic behavioral finance by highlighting the integration of economic rationality and spiritual values in investment decision-making.

This study aims to analyze the brand equity strategy and perception of Tomoro Coffee Blimbing based on four main dimensions: brand awareness, brand association, perceived quality, and brand loyalty. A descriptive qualitative approach was used through in-depth interviews with management, baristas, and customers. The data were then analyzed thematically through data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that Tomoro Coffee's brand awareness is strongly formed through store expansion, social media activities, and a memorable slogan. Brand associations are perceived as modern, aesthetic, and closely related to youth lifestyles, although there is still a conflict between premium and economical images. Regarding quality perceptions, customers value consistent coffee taste and service, but perceived value is still influenced by promotions. Customer loyalty varies, with some indicating repeat visits due to quality, while others rely on promotions and situational needs. This study concludes that Tomoro Coffee's brand equity is quite strong, but needs to be strengthened with perceived value and fostering emotional loyalty. The implications of these findings can inform the development of marketing strategies and brand management in the increasingly competitive coffee shop industry.

Competition in the cosmetics industry in Indonesia is getting tougher, prompting local brands to develop effective marketing communication strategies to increase consumer loyalty. Make Over, as one of the popular local lipstick brands, leverages collaboration strategies with credible beauty influencers, such as Tasya Farasya, to build positive perceptions and increase consumer engagement. This study aims to analyze the influence of influencer credibility on brand loyalty and examine the mediating role of brand trust in the relationship. This research was carried out in Denpasar City by involving 180 respondents who were consumers of Make Over lipsticks. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with certain criteria to ensure the relevance of respondent participation. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires that were distributed online and offline. The collected data was analyzed using path analysis techniques with the help of SPSS software version 29.0.2.0. The results of the analysis show that influencer credibility has a positive and significant influence on brand loyalty and brand trust. Thus, this study confirms that collaboration with influencers who have high reputation, expertise, and credibility can be an effective strategy to increase consumer trust and loyalty towards cosmetic brands. Therefore, choosing the right influencers is essential in a marketing communication strategy to build long-term relationships with consumers.

This study aims to examine in depth the influence of price, promotion, and switching barriers on customer loyalty of Telkomsel prepaid cards, with customer satisfaction as an intervening variable in Generation Z in West Palu District. This study is motivated by the intense competition in the telecommunications industry and the importance of maintaining customer loyalty amidst the increasing number of service options. Data were collected from 100 respondents who are active Telkomsel prepaid card users through questionnaires. Data analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) approach using SmartPLS software version 4.0. The results show that the price variable has a significant direct effect on customer loyalty, but does not show a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Conversely, promotion has a significant effect on satisfaction, but does not directly affect customer loyalty significantly. Switching barriers are shown to have a significant effect on both satisfaction and loyalty, indicating that the higher the switching barriers, the more likely customers will remain loyal. In addition, customer satisfaction also significantly affects loyalty. Another important finding is that of the several indirect influences tested, only the path from promotion through satisfaction to loyalty was statistically significant. Therefore, this study suggests the importance of targeted promotional strategies and strengthening switching barriers as effective measures in retaining young customers who are prone to switching services. Furthermore, this study emphasizes that customer loyalty is not solely determined by competitive pricing factors, but is more complex and influenced by customers' emotional and psychological experiences, such as satisfaction with the service and perceptions of the ease or difficulty of switching to another service provider.

This study aims to analyze the role of brand image as a mediating variable in the relationship between Total Quality Management (TQM) and customer satisfaction at Venambak Shrimp Farm. The background of this study is based on the importance of quality in the competitive aquaculture industry, as well as the need to build a strong brand image to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method as an analysis technique. Data were obtained by distributing closed questionnaires to consumers who had purchased shrimp products from Venambak Shrimp Farm. The analysis was conducted using SmartPLS software. The results of the study indicate that TQM has a positive and significant influence on brand image and customer satisfaction. In addition, brand image is proven to significantly influence customer satisfaction and plays a role as a mediating variable in the relationship between TQM and customer satisfaction. This means that good internal quality not only has a direct impact on satisfaction, but also indirectly through the formation of positive brand perceptions in the minds of consumers. These findings emphasize the importance of quality management strategies integrated with branding strategies in the context of the aquaculture industry. The practical implication of this research is the need for management to not only focus on improving internal processes, but also strengthening brand image in order to be able to create added value and increase customer satisfaction in a sustainable manner.
