Bhinneka: Jurnal Bintang Pendidikan dan Bahasa 2026 Universitas Palan

This research documents and analyzes the variations of banana (gedhang) names in the Southern Brebes dialect of the Javanese language from a sociolinguistic viewpoint. The study explores how language reflects social and cultural realities within a local community. Indonesia’s vast cultural and linguistic diversity makes the study of regional registers essential for understanding how people use language to represent their environment. The Southern Brebes area shows a wide range of banana varieties, each identified by distinct local names that convey information about their physical traits, uses, and cultural significance. These linguistic variations also have educational potential, particularly as supplementary materials for courses such as Pharmaceutical Botany. The research further examines social, cultural, and environmental factors shaping the creation and usage of these names. Findings are expected to enhance understanding of the Javanese lexical system especially the Southern Brebes dialect and to highlight the deep connection between language, culture, and identity. Ultimately, this study contributes to the preservation of local linguistic and cultural heritage.

Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) merupakan salah satu penyakit menular yang masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat Indonesia. Data nasional Kementerian Kesehatan RI tahun 2024 mencatat 257.271 kasus dengan 1.461 kematian, sedangkan hingga 23 Juni 2025 dilaporkan 78.646 kasus dan 346 kematian. Penggunaan larvasida sintetis dapat menimbulkan resistensi dan dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan. diperlukan alternatif larvasida yang berasal dari bahan alami, contohnya serai dapur (Cymbopogon citratus) yang diketahui mengandung senyawa aktif seperti sitronelal, geraniol, flavonoid, saponin, dan tanin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas ekstrak serai dapur (Cymbopogon citratus) terhadap mortalitas larva Aedes aegypti. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental laboratorik dengan rancangan post-test only control group design. Larva Aedes aegypti instar III–IV dibagi menjadi lima perlakuan yaitu ekstrak serai dapur konsentrasi 10%, 20% dan 30%, kontrol positif (Abate), serta kontrol negatif. Setiap kelompok terdiri atas empat kali pengulangan dengan 25 larva setiap pengulangan. Pengamatan mortalitas larva dilakukan pada 1 jam, 3 jam, 6 jam, dan 24 jam setelah perlakuan. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Kruskal-Wallis dan uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mortalitas larva meningkat seiring dengan peningkatan konsentrasi ekstrak dan lamanya waktu paparan. Pada pengamatan 24 jam, seluruh konsentrasi ekstrak menunjukkan mortalitas sebesar 100%, sedangkan kontrol negatif sebesar 2%. Analisis statistik menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada mortalitas larva Aedes aegypti antar kelompok perlakuan (p<0,05). Berdasarkan Hasil Penelitian, dapat disimpulkan ekstrak serai dapur (Cymbopogon citratus) efektif terhadap mortalitas larva Aedes aegypti sebagai larvasida nabati dalam pengendalian vektor DBD.

The development of digital technology has transformed public relations practices from conventional communication models to digital-based communication. Digital Public Relations (Digital PR) enables organizations to build more interactive, rapid, and transparent relationships with their publics through social media, websites, and various digital platforms. This study aims to analyze the role of Digital Public Relations in building organizational image in the social media era. The research employs a literature review method by examining various national journal articles related to Digital PR and Cyber Public Relations. The findings indicate that Digital PR significantly contributes to enhancing organizational image through two-way communication, online reputation management, increased audience engagement, and more effective information dissemination. Social media serves as the primary instrument of Digital PR implementation because it facilitates participatory relationships between organizations and their publics. However, challenges such as digital reputation crises, the spread of negative information, and the demand for rapid responses remain critical issues that must be strategically managed by public relations practitioners. Therefore, effective Digital PR strategies are essential to maintain organizational reputation and strengthen public trust in the digital era.

Diabetes Melitus (DM) merupakan kondisi kronis yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya konsentrasi glukosa dalam darah. Penyakit ini dapat terjadi akibat ketidakmampuan tubuh memproduksi insulin. Kekurangan insulin, atau ketidakmampuan sel untuk meresponsnya, menyebabkan kadar glukosa darah tinggi (hiperglikemia), yang merupakan indikator klinis diabetes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis daya terima, kandungan zat gizi, dan nilai indeks glikemik Cookies berbahan dasar tepung ubi jalar ungu dan rumput laut sebagai pangan alternatif bagi penderita diabetes melitus. Penelitian ini menggunakan  quasi experimental dengan rancangan RAL (Rancangan Acak Lengkap) dengan 3 kali pengulangan. yaitu P1 (60 g tepung ubi jalar ungu : 40 g tepung rumput laut), P2 (65 g : 35 g), dan P3 (70 g : 30 g). Uji organoleptik dilakukan terhadap 30 panelis tidak terlatih menggunakan metode hedonik. Analisis kandungan gizi meliputi kadar air, abu, protein, lemak, dan karbohidrat, sedangkan indeks glikemik dihitung menggunakan metode incremental area under the curve (iAUC). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan P3 merupakan formulasi terbaik dan paling disukai panelis pada atribut warna, rasa, tekstur, dan kerenyahan. Hasil analisis kandungan gizi Cookies per 100 gram pada perlakuan P3 diperoleh kadar air 4,73%, kadar abu 3,25%, protein 6,71%, lemak 12,80%, dan karbohidrat 61,13%. Cookies juga memiliki kadar gula total sebesar 16,11%, kadar pati 36,2%, dan available carbohydrate sebesar 55,93%. Nilai rata-rata indeks glikemik Cookies sebesar 21,5 dan termasuk kategori indeks glikemik rendah.

Kegiatan pertambangan memiliki resiko merubah fungsi lahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan melakukan perbandingan terhadap penggunaan citra Google Satellite Imagery dan ESRI World Imagery dalam interpretasi sebaran lahan tambang. Interpretasi menggunakan pendekatan spasial yang diolah menggunakan ArcGIS 10.8. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan luasan tambang yang teridentifikasi berdasarkan sumber citra satelit yang digunakan. Google Satellite Imagery mampu mendeteksi luasan pertambangan yang lebih besar, yaitu 12.022,02 Ha, dibandingkan ESRI World Imagery yang menghasilkan 11.485,41 Ha, sedangkan data acuan dari KLHK tahun 2023 mencatat luas tambang sebesar 10.798,46 Ha. Perbedaan ini dipengaruhi oleh resolusi spasial, kejelasan tekstur permukaan, serta pembaruan data pada masing-masing citra. Persentase perubahan luas lahan pertambangan yang dihitung dari perbandingan Google Satellite Imagery dengan data KLHK mencapai 11,33%, sementara perbandingan dengan ESRI World Imagery hanya sebesar 6,37%. Hasil ini menunjukan Google Satellite Imagery lebih sensitif dalam mengidentifikasi ekspansi tambang, meskipun berpotensi menghasilkan overestimation, sedangkan ESRI World Imagery cenderung lebih konservatif dalam estimasi luas. Untuk memastikan konsistensi dan akurasi pemantauan perubahan lahan tambang, diperlukan pemilihan sumber citra yang tepat, penggunaan metode interpretasi yang konsisten, serta validasi silang dengan data resmi maupun observasi lapangan.

Malware represents an evolving cybersecurity threat that demands more effective detection methods. Conventional signature-based detection systems have limitations in identifying new variants, driving the development of deep learning-based approaches. This research implements and evaluates four variants of the YOLOv11 algorithm (n, s, m, l) for malware classification based on visual image representation. The dataset consists of 22,056 malware and benign images, divided into 70% training, 15% validation, and 15% testing across 8 classes (adware, backdoor, benign, downloader, spyware, trojan, virus, worm). Each model was trained for 100 epochs with batch size 32 using Google Colab with GPU support. Results demonstrate that all variants achieve high accuracy (97.8%-98.1%) with YOLOv11m as the best performer (98.1%). YOLOv11n offers optimal balance between accuracy (97.9%) and efficiency (1.5M parameters, 0.3 ms/img inference) ideal for real-time applications. This research surpasses previous methods such as K-NN (97.18%) and hybrid CNN (96.55%) with superior inference speed (0.3-0.9 ms/img vs tens to hundreds of ms/img), proving the effectiveness of YOLOv11 for fast, accurate, and scalable malware detection.

The quality of rice that is suitable for consumption, one of which is determined by the absence of associated components when the rice is in storage. Rice storage is carried out by means of long shelf life and good rice quality. Damage to rice due to pest attacks causes a decrease in quality and quantity. Environmentally friendly efforts are needed to control the rice weevil Sitophilus oryzae using vegetable materials. This study sought to ascertain the death rate of rice weevils treated with lemongrass stem (Cymbopogon citratus), bay leaves (Syzygium polyanthum), and pandan leaves (Pandanus amaryllifolius). The study employed a fully randomized design with three treatments in the form of simplicia plant components. There were 21 study units because each treatment included seven repetitions. Each treatment used 20 rice weevil imago breeding results which were infested in a jar containing 200 g of rice for 4 weeks in the laboratory. The use of pandan leaf, bay leaf, and lemongrass simplicia at 7 days after treatment showed the proportion of rice weevil mortality was 59,29%, 39,29%, and 50,00%, respectively. As for the observations of 14 day after treatments, 21 day after treatments, and 28 day after treatments showed that the mortality rate of all rice beetles was above 50%. Regarding the percentage of rice powder, hollow rice, and rice weight loss, the findings of observations on rice weevil mortality did not reveal any significant variations across all treatments.

Logo merupakan identitas visual yang memiliki peran penting dalam membangun citra dan meningkatkan daya saing suatu usaha, termasuk pada sektor Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). Namun, masih banyak pelaku UMKM yang belum memiliki logo yang menarik dan representatif, seperti yang terjadi pada UMKM Maira Produksi di Kota Bima. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan pelaku UMKM dalam merancang logo usaha sebagai bagian dari strategi branding dan pemasaran produk. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan adalah pelatihan dengan pendekatan partisipatif melalui penyampaian materi dan praktik langsung pembuatan desain logo. Pelatihan dilaksanakan selama dua hari di rumah pelaku usaha. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu memahami konsep dasar desain logo serta berhasil membuat logo yang sesuai dengan karakteristik produk masing-masing. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga meningkatkan kreativitas dan inovasi pelaku usaha dalam mengembangkan identitas produk. Dengan demikian, pelatihan pembuatan logo ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan kualitas branding, daya tarik produk, dan daya saing UMKM di pasar.

Perkembangan teknologi digital dan media sosial telah mendorong pentingnya kemampuan personal branding bagi generasi muda, khususnya siswa sekolah menengah atas. Personal branding menjadi salah satu strategi yang dapat membantu individu membangun citra diri positif, meningkatkan kepercayaan diri, serta mempersiapkan diri menghadapi dunia pendidikan maupun karier di masa depan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai pentingnya personal branding melalui workshop interaktif di SMA Negeri 1 Batujaya. Kegiatan melibatkan 12 siswa yang terdiri atas duta siswa dan perwakilan aktif sekolah. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui penyampaian materi, diskusi, praktik sederhana, dan refleksi bersama. Evaluasi dilakukan secara kualitatif melalui observasi partisipatif dan umpan balik peserta selama kegiatan berlangsung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta memiliki antusiasme tinggi serta mengalami peningkatan pemahaman mengenai pentingnya membangun citra diri positif dan penggunaan media sosial secara lebih strategis dalam mendukung pengembangan diri. Pendekatan partisipatif melalui workshop interaktif dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan peserta selama kegiatan berlangsung.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of public service ethics by front office officers at the Public Service Mall (Mall Pelayanan Publik/MPP) of Samarinda City and its impact on the image of government institutions. As the frontline of public service delivery, front office personnel play a strategic role in shaping public perceptions and fostering public trust in government services. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach, utilizing in-depth interviews with a functional licensing officer at the Department of Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services (DPMPTSP) of Samarinda City, supported by direct field observations. The findings reveal that the implementation of service ethics at the Samarinda MPP is guided by the principles outlined in Law No. 25 of 2009 on Public Services and the Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Regulation No. 15 of 2014 concerning Service Standards. These regulations emphasize the values of integrity, professionalism, accountability, responsiveness, and inclusiveness in service delivery. Furthermore, effective coordination among service tenants, continuous improvement of employee competencies, and adaptation to digital systems such as the Online Single Submission (OSS) platform have contributed significantly to maintaining service quality. The study concludes that the consistent application of public service ethics enhances citizen satisfaction, strengthens public trust, and positively influences the image of government institutions in the community.

Hydroponic cultivation of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.) in greenhouses is an effective alternative for overcoming land limitations, particularly in urban areas. Hydroponic systems enable plants to obtain nutrients optimally through the application of the Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) and Deep Flow Technique (DFT), thereby promoting more efficient plant growth. In addition, the success of hydroponic mustard cultivation is influenced by environmental control, including temperatures ranging from 15–35°C and relative humidity levels of 70–90%. Plant nutrient requirements are supplied through an AB Mix nutrient solution with a pH range of 5.5–6.5 and an electrical conductivity (EC) value of 1.5–3.0 mS/cm. This review aims to analyze various factors affecting the growth of hydroponic mustard greens, including nutrient management, environmental conditions, and biological pest and disease control using beneficial agents such as Trichoderma and Bacillus. Furthermore, this study discusses several technical and economic challenges that may influence cultivation success. The findings indicate that hydroponic systems can significantly improve crop productivity and yield quality, reduce the use of chemical pesticides, and support the implementation of sustainable and environmentally friendly urban agriculture in Indonesia.

Fierce competition in the tourist bus industry, especially in the price segment, requires companies to understand the key factors that influence customer satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the influence of service quality, price, and brand image on customer satisfaction of PO Jurus Elang in Semarang City through a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey involving 136 respondents selected by purposive sampling. Data were obtained from a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using SEM-PLS via SmartPLS. The results of the analysis indicate that service quality and price have a positive but insignificant influence, while brand image has a positive and significant influence on customer satisfaction, with an R-square value of 0.721, reflecting good model strength. These findings emphasize that brand image is a major factor in increasing customer satisfaction, while service quality and price are more likely to be viewed as minimum standards by customers.

This research investigates the effect of the amount of MSMEs, the number of buildings, and GRDP on regional tax revenue in selected cities and regencies in South Sulawesi, driven by the inconsistency between the growth of economic potential and the realization of tax revenue, where increases in MSMEs, buildings, and GRDP are not always followed by higher tax receipts. The study aims to analyze the effect of these variables and identify the most significant factors contributing to regional fiscal capacity. A quantitative approach is employed using panel data that combine time series and cross-sectional data from 2015-2024, analyzed through panel data regression with model selection based on Chow, Hausman, and Lagrange Multiplier test. The results show that partially, MSMEs and the number of buildings do not have a significant effect on tax revenue, while GRDP has a positive significant impact; however, simultaneously, all variables significantly influence tax revenue, as indicated by a high Adjusted R-squared value. These findings suggest that economic growth, as proxied by GRDP, plays a more dominant role in increasing tax revenue compared to the mere increase in the number of MSMEs and buildings, implying that optimizing tax revenue requires not only expanding economic potential but also enhancing tax compliance, administrative efficiency, and the quality of economic growth.

This study aims to examine how schools foster togetherness amid religious diversity through a dialogical approach. This research employed a qualitative method and was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Sumbul. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, while the analysis used the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that three main religions Islam, Catholicism, and Protestantism coexist harmoniously within the school due to strong practices of tolerance. This is reflected in the implementation of religious worship conducted simultaneously at the same time but in different places according to each belief, as well as mutual respect during religious celebrations such as Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, Easter, and Christmas. In addition, social interactions among students occur in an open, communicative, and non-discriminatory manner. These findings indicate that schools play a significant role in promoting unity through multicultural education, religious moderation, and dialogical approaches. Therefore, schools can serve as effective spaces for shaping students’ tolerant character and their ability to live harmoniously in a diverse society.

This community service program aims to increase the digitalization capacity of the "Ali Serba Alat" MSME by strengthening Branding and Online marketing aspects. The main problems faced by partners include weak brand identity, limited use of digital media, and suboptimal Online platform-based marketing strategies. The activity implementation method uses a participatory approach with the stages of problem identification, program planning, training, mentoring, and evaluation. Activities carried out include creating a digital store presence in the form of a Google Map, logo and visual identity of the business, optimizing social media and marketplace accounts, compiling digital promotional content, and training in digital-based marketing strategies. The results of the activity show an increase in partners' understanding of the importance of Branding, improved skills in managing digital media, and increased business visibility on Online platforms. In addition, there was an increase in consumer interaction and sales potential after the implementation of the digital marketing strategy. This program is expected to become a model for sustainable mentoring in supporting the digital transformation of MSMEs to increase competitiveness in the digital economy era.

The waste problem in Indonesia has now reached a critical stage and has become an increasingly serious environmental issue. The ever-increasing volume of waste is not being managed effectively, leading to various negative impacts, particularly environmental pollution. This study aims to examine the state of waste management in Indonesia and its impact on water pollution from the perspective of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The method used is descriptive qualitative research through a literature review utilizing various sources such as journals, official reports, and legislation. The results indicate that the majority of waste originates from household activities, while management practices remain rudimentary, such as the “collect-transport-dispose” method and open dumping. This situation leads to waste accumulation, which contributes to water pollution, deteriorating environmental quality, and increased health risks for the community. Furthermore, suboptimal waste management also poses a challenge in achieving sustainable development goals, particularly regarding responsible consumption and access to clean water and sanitation. Therefore, improved efforts are needed through the application of the reduce, reuse, recycle (3R) principles, increased public awareness, and the active role of the government and the private sector in providing a sustainable waste management system. With the right measures, it is hoped that the waste problem in Indonesia can be reduced and the environment preserved.

Perkembangan teknologi artificial intelligence, khususnya dalam bidang computer vision dan deep learning, telah mendorong lahirnya berbagai sistem otomatis dalam analisis citra dan video. Salah satu implementasi yang banyak digunakan adalah deteksi objek secara real-time menggunakan algoritma YOLO (You Only Look Once). Di sisi lain, penggunaan rokok elektronik atau vape semakin meningkat, terutama di lingkungan pendidikan, sehingga diperlukan sistem pengawasan otomatis yang mampu mendeteksi aktivitas tersebut secara akurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem deteksi aktivitas vape berbasis YOLOv8 pada citra dan video. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deep learning workflow yang meliputi pengumpulan dataset, pra-pemrosesan, pelatihan model, serta evaluasi performa. Dataset yang digunakan dikembangkan secara mandiri dengan jumlah awal 1000 gambar, kemudian ditingkatkan menjadi 2000 gambar melalui proses augmentasi menggunakan Roboflow. Proses pelatihan dilakukan dengan parameter tertentu, seperti 100 epoch dan ukuran citra 640×640 piksel. Evaluasi model dilakukan menggunakan metrik precision, recall, mean Average Precision (mAP), serta kecepatan deteksi (frame per second). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model YOLOv8 mampu mendeteksi aktivitas vape dengan performa yang cukup baik. Model mencapai nilai precision sebesar 0,91, recall sebesar 0,88, mAP@0.5 sebesar 0,92, serta mAP@0.5:0.95 sebesar 0,76. Selain itu, sistem mampu bekerja secara real-time dengan kecepatan deteksi mencapai 28 FPS. Hasil pengujian juga menunjukkan bahwa model mampu mengenali objek vape pada berbagai kondisi lingkungan, meskipun masih mengalami kendala pada objek berukuran kecil dan kondisi occlusion. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa algoritma YOLOv8 efektif digunakan untuk mendeteksi aktivitas vape pada citra dan video, serta memiliki potensi untuk diterapkan dalam sistem pengawasan berbasis CCTV secara real-time.

The legal profession plays a vital role in the judicial system to ensure the principle of equality before the law as well as fair and accountable legal proceedings. In accordance with Law No. 18 of 2003 on Advocates, an advocate is an autonomous, independent, and accountable legal professional who is granted immunity as stipulated in Articles 14, 15, and 16, which provide protection from civil and criminal claims when acting in good faith while performing their duties. However, in practice, the scope of this immunity often leads to differing interpretations, particularly regarding the parameters of “good faith” and the scope of “professional duties,” which can result in the criminalization of lawyers. This is evident in the case of Hendra Sianipar, where a lawyer’s actions in exercising legal authority were instead subject to criminal prosecution. This study aims to examine the limits of attorney immunity and explore the potential for criminalization of this profession using a normative legal approach combined with a legal utility analysis. The findings of this study indicate that attorney immunity is not absolute but is limited by good faith, compliance with the law, and professional ethics, thus requiring clearer and more balanced clarification of these limits.

Tanaman padi merupakan salah satu komoditas pangan utama di dunia yang memiliki peran penting dalam menjaga ketahanan pangan global. Namun, produktivitas tanaman padi seringkali terganggu oleh berbagai penyakit daun yang dapat menurunkan kualitas dan hasil panen secara signifikan. Deteksi penyakit secara dini menjadi langkah penting untuk mengendalikan penyebaran penyakit tersebut. Metode konvensional yang mengandalkan pengamatan manual memiliki keterbatasan dalam hal kecepatan, akurasi, serta ketergantungan terhadap keahlian manusia. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu sistem deteksi otomatis yang mampu mengidentifikasi penyakit secara cepat dan akurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model deteksi penyakit daun padi menggunakan metode YOLO (You Only Look Once) berbasis Deep Learning. Dataset yang digunakan diperoleh dari Kaggle yang terdiri dari citra daun padi dengan anotasi bounding box. Proses penelitian meliputi tahap pengumpulan data, preprocessing, pelatihan model, serta evaluasi performa. Model dilatih menggunakan optimizer Stochastic Gradient Descent (SGD) dengan parameter tertentu untuk memperoleh hasil yang optimal. Evaluasi kinerja model dilakukan menggunakan metrik mean Average Precision (mAP), precision, dan recall. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model YOLO mampu mendeteksi penyakit daun padi dengan tingkat akurasi yang tinggi serta waktu deteksi yang relatif cepat. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode YOLO efektif untuk diterapkan dalam sistem pertanian cerdas. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan teknologi deteksi penyakit tanaman berbasis kecerdasan buatan.
