The paradigmatic transformation of Christian Religious Education (CRE) in the digital era has become a crucial issue to be examined because the development of information technology, virtual culture, and globalization has brought significant changes to adolescents’ mindsets, behaviors, and character formation. These conditions have created various moral and spiritual challenges, such as identity crises, declining ethical sensitivity, and the increasing influence of individualistic and hedonistic values among young people. This study aims to analyze the paradigm transformation of Christian Religious Education in shaping adolescent character through a theological-pedagogical perspective that is relevant to the context of the digital era. The research employs a qualitative method using a library research approach and descriptive analysis of various scientific, theological, and pedagogical sources related to Christian education, teacher spirituality, and adolescent character development in the digital age. The findings indicate that the transformation of the CRE paradigm should be directed toward contextual, participatory, and transformative learning by positioning teachers as spiritual role models and facilitators of character formation. Furthermore, the integration of Christian values, the ethical use of technology, and collaboration among schools, families, and churches are important factors in shaping adolescents who possess strong character, integrity, and spiritual maturity amid increasingly complex digital challenges.

The role of citizenship education is fundamental in internalizing the values of nationalism and ethics within a society. This research is motivated by the increasing challenges of globalization and moral degradation that threaten the national identity of the younger generation. The primary objective of this study is to analyze the strategic role of citizenship education in shaping and strengthening national character within the Indonesian context. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method, utilizing literature reviews and thematic analysis of educational policies and social phenomena. The findings indicate that citizenship education serves as a vital instrument not only for transferring political knowledge but also for fostering civic disposition, including integrity, tolerance, and social responsibility. Furthermore, the integration of local wisdom within the curriculum significantly enhances the effectiveness of character building. The implications of this study suggest that a revitalized citizenship education curriculum, which adapts to digital era challenges, is essential for maintaining social cohesion. Stakeholders in the education sector must prioritize interactive and participatory pedagogical approaches to ensure that national character values are not merely memorized but practiced in daily life, thereby ensuring the long-term sustainability of the nation's democratic values.

The era of globalization presents challenges of moral degradation among students, including intolerance, individualism, and declining nationalism. These issues make character strengthening through Civic Education (PKn) a national priority. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of PKn in shaping students’ character, particularly the values of religiosity, nationalism, independence, mutual cooperation, and integrity. The research employed a qualitative Library research design using secondary data from 18 scientific journals and 2 books published between 2021 and 2026. Data were collected through literature review and analyzed using content and thematic analysis to identify patterns of PKn implementation and its impact. The findings indicate that PKn effectively develops Good citizenship through character education based on Pancasila. Effective strategies include teacher role modeling, Problem-Based Learning (PBL), and digital media such as infographics and gamification. These approaches were reported to improve empathy, national loyalty, and integrity among students. The Merdeka Curriculum further supports character development by emphasizing affective learning through authentic projects. Challenges arising from foreign cultural influences can be addressed through collaboration among schools, families, and communities. The study concludes that PKn plays a significant role in strengthening students’ character and supporting the realization of Golden Indonesia 2045 through sustainable character education.

The moral crisis faced by the Indonesian nation is a serious challenge that can threaten the integrity and sustainability of the country's future. Phenomena such as corruption, intolerance, and weakening social integrity are clear evidence of the declining implementation of the noble values ​​contained in Pancasila. Pancasila Education has a strategic position in building national character and instilling moral values, especially in the younger generation. This article aims to examine the moral crisis in Indonesia and analyze the role of Pancasila Education in providing solutions to these problems. This study uses a literature research method to assess the relevance of Pancasila values ​​and the effectiveness of the implementation of Pancasila Education. The study results show that Pancasila values ​​such as religiosity, humanity, unity, democracy, and social justice have great potential in forming moral individuals. However, there are various challenges, including low student interest, lack of innovation in teaching, and the influence of globalization that can hinder the optimization of Pancasila Education. To overcome these obstacles, strategic steps are needed such as strengthening the curriculum, improving the quality of educators, and collaboration between families, schools, and the community. With maximum implementation, Pancasila Education can be the main key to rebuilding the nation's morality.

Civic Education holds a strategic position within the national education system as the primary instrument for shaping the personality of citizens in alignment with the values of Pancasila. This research is motivated by the phenomenon of moral degradation and the fading spirit of nationalism among the younger generation due to the unfiltered influence of globalization. The primary objective of this study is to analyze the extent of Civic Education's role in the school environment in transforming student character to possess noble morals, broad national insight, and a deep love for the motherland. The research method employed is a literature study with a qualitative approach, where data were collected through the analysis of various curriculum documents, scientific journals, and textbooks relevant to the implementation of the independent curriculum. Research findings indicate that Civic Education is not merely a theoretical transfer of civic knowledge but rather an effective process of value internalization through behavioral habituation within the school environment. The integration of teaching materials with practical applications in school life is proven to increase students' awareness of their rights and obligations as citizens. The analysis also reveals that strengthening moral character and national insight highly depends on teacher creativity in delivering interactive learning that is relevant to the students' social reality. The implications of this research emphasize the importance of revitalizing Civic Education teaching methods to be more adaptive to modern developments without losing national identity. Schools are expected to serve as laboratories of democracy and centers for sowing patriotic values to produce a golden generation that is not only intellectually competent but also possesses strong moral integrity to maintain the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia.

Honesty (ṣidq) is a fundamental moral value in Islam that serves as the foundation for personal integrity and social ethics. In the current era of globalization and growing materialistic culture, this value faces serious challenges as societal orientation shifts from moral virtue to economic achievement and social image. This study employs a narrative review method, analyzing recent literature on moral education, Islamic ethics, and contemporary social dynamics. The findings reveal that honesty functions not only as a personal virtue but also as a social force that strengthens public trust and national stability. However, the global wave of materialism has weakened the internalization of ṣidq, especially among younger generations. Restoring honesty as the moral identity of the nation requires synergy among character-based education, spiritual reinforcement, and public policies that promote transparency and integrity. The recontextualization of honesty through Islamic spiritual principles and Rokeach’s value theory offers a path toward moral recovery for Indonesian society amid the global challenges of the 21st century.

The development of national character is a strategic agenda in addressing moral, social, and cultural challenges in the era of globalization. Strengthening fundamental values derived from Islamic teachings is considered an important solution, particularly the values of obedience to Allah SWT, the spirit of competing in goodness (fastabiqul khairat), and work ethic. These three values play a crucial role in shaping individuals who are faithful, possess noble character, are responsible, and have high competitiveness. However, the reinforcement of these values in the practice of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at the elementary, junior high, and senior high school levels has not yet been optimally and systematically integrated. Therefore, this article aims to analyze the concepts, urgency, and strategies for integrating the values of obedience, competition in goodness, and work ethic into PAI learning. The research method employed is a literature study using a qualitative-descriptive approach through the analysis of scientific literature, curriculum documents, and relevant concepts of Islamic education. The findings indicate that the value of obedience serves as a spiritual and moral foundation for students, the value of fastabiqul khairat encourages active, collaborative attitudes oriented toward positive contributions, while work ethic strengthens discipline, responsibility, and productivity. The integration of these three values can be implemented through the development of teaching materials, the application of contextual learning methods, educators’ role modeling, and the cultivation of a religious school culture. The implications of this study affirm that integrating these values into PAI significantly contributes to the formation of a young generation with integrity and readiness to build a dignified nation.

The era of globalization presents serious challenges for Christian Religious Education (PAK) through the currents of value relativism, consumerism, and digital influences that threaten the formation of the spiritual character of the younger generation. This study aims to analyze strategies for integrating spiritual values ​​into Christian Religious Education (PAK) to ensure its relevance and effectiveness in facing the dynamics of the times, with a focus on a holistic approach that combines a contextual curriculum, hybrid learning media, faith-based digital literacy, and strengthening teacher competencies. The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach based on library research through thematic content analysis of books, scientific journals, and related literature. The results indicate that effective integration of spiritual values ​​through strategies such as interactive digital learning, school-church-family collaboration, and systematic evaluation produces students who are strong in faith, critical of global influences, and ethical in character. In conclusion, the need for ongoing synergy to shape a generation of Christians who are adaptive and imbued with integrity in the era of globalization is emphasized.

Globalization and the penetration of digital culture have accelerated the homogenization of values, which has weakened the cultural identity and social character of the younger generation. This condition places local wisdom as a source of values that not only needs to be preserved but also systematically transformed in education. This article offers a critical analysis of the integration of local wisdom in character education as a mechanism for social transformation. Using a structured literature review approach, this study analyzes the concept of local wisdom, the role of teachers as agents of cultural preservation, the challenges of implementation in the context of modern education, and strategic models for integrating local values into the curriculum and school culture. The findings show that local values such as gotong royong (mutual cooperation), tepa selira (harmony), Tri Hita Karana (harmony between humans, nature, and the divine), Silih Asah Asih Asuh (mutual encouragement, love, and care), ABS-SBK (mutual respect, honesty, and integrity), and various traditional philosophies of the archipelago have proven effective in strengthening students' social character, enhancing social cohesion, and strengthening national identity. However, obstacles such as the dominance of global culture, low cultural literacy among teachers, and weak national curriculum support are significant hindrances. This article proposes a three-layer integrative model of contextual curriculum, culture-based pedagogy, and participatory school culture as a strategy for transforming social values that are adaptive to the challenges of the digital age. The conclusion emphasizes that character education based on local wisdom is not only an instrument for cultural preservation but also a strategic framework for building social resilience and national identity amid rapid global change.

This research examines the mentoring of nationalistic activities by students from the Al-Azhar Menganti Gresik Institute and field supervisors at MI Darunnajah Lebani Suko, Wringinanom District, Gresik Regency, in commemoration of Heroes' Day. Thru a descriptive qualitative approach, this program involves four main activities: the red and white parade, patriotic love songs, little warrior strokes (coloring and writing hero stories), and a colossal drama of patriotic fervor. These activities are creatively designed and based on direct experience to instill nationalistic values in elementary school students. The research results show a significant improvement in students in terms of courage, discipline, creativity, cooperation, and respect for national symbols such as the flag and national anthem. Collaboration between students as facilitators, teachers as pedagogical directors, and the school environment creates a conducive learning ecosystem where participatory methods are more effective than conventional approaches. This experiential learning approach not only enhances cognitive understanding of the struggles of national and local heroes but also builds emotional empathy and social skills. Positive impacts include high student enthusiasm, reduced learning boredom, and character strengthening in accordance with the Pancasila Student Profile, such as mutual cooperation and integrity. Overall, this mentoring program serves as a relevant model for non-formal character education that can be replicated in other schools to strengthen nationalism from an early age amidst the challenges of post-pandemic globalization and individualism.

This study examines the role of Pancasila as a source of values in national character education amid the challenges of globalization and digital disruption. Pancasila, as the ideology and foundation of the state, contains universal values derived from local wisdom and the nation's culture. However, the implementation of these values in formal education remains formalistic and does not sufficiently touch the internalization aspects of students. Through a descriptive-analytical qualitative approach with ideological and normative dimensions, this study involved teachers, students, and educational stakeholders in Central Java. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and document studies, with thematic analysis based on the principles of Pancasila and Islamic law principles. The study results indicate that Pancasila-based character education requires a pedagogical transformation that is contextual, participatory, and grounded in real-life experiences.Pancasila must be actualized as a way of life through adaptive educational practices, thereby forming a generation that is of integrity, responsible, and mature both morally and socially.

This study aims to explore in depth the role of social media in strengthening the national identity of students in the Pematangsiantar City campus environment. National identity is seen as an important aspect in shaping the national consciousness of the younger generation, especially students who are in a critical phase of intellectual and social development. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation of students from various universities in Pematangsiantar City. The results show that students actively use social media to access, produce, and share content related to local culture, national history, national figures, and national issues relevant to their daily lives. Social media functions not only as a means of communication, but also as a space for expression and creativity that allows students to build national narratives independently, critically, and innovatively. The discussion emphasizes that amidst the rapid flow of globalization and the penetration of foreign cultures, social media plays a strategic role in maintaining national values, provided its use is directed in a reflective, educational, and responsible manner. In addition, social media has the potential to expand the reach of the dissemination of nationalist values in a more engaging way and in accordance with the communication style of the younger generation. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that social media can be an effective tool in shaping and strengthening national consciousness among students. This impact is long-term, contributing to character formation, national loyalty, and strengthening students' role as agents of change in maintaining national unity and integrity.

The flow of information and foreign culture that enters without borders can weaken the spirit of nationalism and local values such as mutual cooperation and tolerance. In this context, Civic Education (PKn) has a strategic role in building a strong national character and integrity. Emphasis on the importance of integrating national values in civil society is very important in forming a young generation that is resilient, critical, and ready to contribute to the global world without losing their identity as Indonesian citizens.

This article aims to explore the importance of character education as a fundamental pillar in developing a generation capable of making positive contributions to the global society. The research method used in this study is a literature review, which includes analyzing various theories and studies on character education, as well as the critical roles of families, schools, and communities in the character development process. The analysis reveals that effectively integrated character education can shape individuals who are more responsible, ethical, and empathetic, ultimately strengthening social cohesion and enhancing national competitiveness. Character education not only improves cognitive aspects but also shapes consistent attitudes and behaviors. Therefore, character education should be a primary focus within the educational system, aiming to develop a generation that is not only intellectually smart but also morally upright, enabling them to face global challenges with strong integrity. The moral crisis experienced by Generation Z in the digital era is a major challenge triggered by globalization and rapid technological developments. This generation is often influenced by digital culture that can shift important moral values. Education, especially Islamic education, plays a key role in addressing this problem by instilling moral values, digital ethics, and social responsibility. Islamic education can help shape the character of the younger generation by equipping them with strong morality, critical thinking, and the ability to navigate the digital world wisely. Therefore, it is important to integrate moral and spiritual education so that Generation Z can face it with integrity and wisdom. Islamic education that prioritizes the values ​​of faith and ethics has the potential to be the main solution in facing this moral crisis.

This study aims to analyze the role of PAK learning in building students' character amidst the flow of globalization. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis, through data collection from interviews, observations, and literature studies. The results of the study show that PAK learning not only teaches religious values, but also provides a solid moral foundation for students in facing the negative effects of globalization. PAK plays a role in shaping students' attitudes of discipline, responsibility, tolerance, and integrity, which are very important in facing the changing times. Therefore, Christian religious education is one of the important means in strengthening students' character so that they are able to adapt well in the challenging era of globalization.

Pancasila as the foundation of the state has an important role in shaping the mindset and character of children from an early age, especially at the elementary school level. In the challenging era of globalization, Pancasila-based education is the main foundation in instilling national and moral values. This study aims to explore the role of Pancasila in shaping the mindset of elementary school children and strategies that can be applied in learning so that its values can be internalized effectively. The method used in this study is a literature study by reviewing various relevant scientific articles. The results of the study indicate that an experience-based learning approach, the active role of teachers as role models, and synergy between schools, families, and communities are key factors in instilling Pancasila values. In addition, the challenges of globalization and technological developments require strengthening Pancasila-based digital literacy so that children are able to filter information wisely. Thus, Pancasila-based character education is a strategic element in forming a young generation that has integrity, social responsibility, and critical thinking skills in facing changing times.

This research aims to revive the spirit of Pancasila life in the millennial era. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive research method where data is collected through literature review. The literature used in this research is scientific articles related to reviving the spirit of Pancasila in the millennial era. Data collection was carried out by searching for articles from electronic journals and other publications related to the study topic. From the results of the study it can be seen It is concluded that reviving the spirit of Pancasila life in the millennial era is a rare strategy to maintain the integrity of the nation amidst the challenges of globalization, technological developments and shifting social values. Formal and informal education is the main key to instilling values. Pancasila. From the perspective of hadith, character education emphasizes values such as honesty, patience, compassion, and responsibility as life guidelines. However, in the modern era, various challenges such as the influence of social media, value globalization, and digital inequality often hinder the ideal formation of character among the younger generation. This study aims to explore the urgency of character education based on the hadith of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), identify the primary issues in its implementation, and offer solutions relevant to the challenges of modern education. The identified problems include shifts in moral values due to technology, a lack of integration of character values into curricula, and insufficient synergy between schools, families, and communities. his research employs a qualitative method using a literature review approach, analyzing relevant hadiths and contemporary character education theories. The findings indicate that effective solutions include integrating character values into the curriculum, adopting role-model-based teaching approaches, and utilizing technology to support innovative character education. Through these strategies, character education from the perspective of hadith can be effectively implemented to shape individuals with noble character, adaptability, and relevance to modern-era challenges.  

Entrepreneurship is one of the main pillars of economic development in modern societies. However, the practice of entrepreneurship often faces complex ethical and moral challenges amidst the dynamics of globalization. This article aims to explore how the values of Christian religious education can provide a spiritual and ethical foundation in addressing these challenges. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this research examines a range of relevant academic literature, including articles and books, to illustrate the potential integration between Christian religious education and entrepreneurial spirit development. The results show that values such as integrity, justice, responsibility and love can serve as moral guidelines for Christian entrepreneurs to face modern challenges without losing the essence of their faith. Christian religious education plays a role not only in shaping individual character, but also in creating entrepreneurs who have the vision to bring positive social impact. The findings emphasize the importance of a holistic approach in education that integrates spiritual values and entrepreneurial practices to create a more equitable and sustainable society. This research is expected to contribute to the development of a Christian values-based entrepreneurship education model, as well as a solution to the moral challenges in entrepreneurship in the modern era.
