The development of the digital era has triggered a significant transformation in consumer shopping patterns, which have now shifted from conventional retail to Quick Commerce (Q-Commerce). This article analyzes the phenomenon of changing consumer behavior driven by preferences for speed, practicality, and time efficiency, with the COVID-19 pandemic as the main catalyst. The study highlights that the success of Q-Commerce is highly dependent on Logistics Service Quality (LSQ), particularly in terms of timeliness, courier interaction quality, and order condition. Despite offering convenience that disrupts physical retail, this business model faces serious sustainability challenges, including high last-mile operational costs, difficulty achieving profitability leading to the closure of several market players, and intense competition from hybrid retail models. In addition, traffic safety issues and increased carbon emissions are highlighted as social and environmental impacts. This study concludes that while Q-Commerce holds great potential, its sustainability requires strategic innovations that balance service speed with cost efficiency and ecological responsibility.vThe development of the digital era has triggered a significant transformation in consumer shopping patterns, which have now shifted from conventional retail to Quick Commerce (Q-Commerce). Business legality is an urgent need for MSMEs, particularly in the food sector, which faces strict regulations and high risks to food safety. However, many MSMEs still lack a Business Identification Number (NIB) or Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) protection due to low digital literacy and a lack of understanding of licensing procedures. This situation emphasizes the urgency of mentoring so that MSMEs can operate legally and be legally protected. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to assist the Golden Kriuq MSME in obtaining an NIB and increase business owners' understanding of the importance of IPR, branding, and digital marketing. The implementation method uses a qualitative approach through observation, interviews, education, documentation, and direct mentoring. Activities carried out include NIB registration through the OSS Indonesia application, logo, banner, and menu design, business Instagram account creation, location determination on Google Maps, and education on the stages of brand registration through the DJKI system. The results show that Golden Kriuq successfully obtained an NIB, has a more consistent visual identity, and has a more professional digital presence. The program's impact is evident in increased awareness of legality, digital administration readiness, and businesses' ability to compete more professionally and sustainably.

Employee performance is a strategic factor in the success of regional banking organizations that are oriented towards service and achieving business targets. However, empirical evidence at PT Bank Sumut Kantor Cabang Koordinator Medan, indicates that employee performance tends to stagnate in the "Good" category during the 2021–2024 period. This condition is thought to be related to career development that is not yet optimally structured, organizational commitment that has not been fully actualized in work behavior, and inadequate extrinsic motivation. This study aims to analyze the effect of career development and organizational commitment on employee performance through extrinsic motivation as a mediating variable. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method of employees at PT Bank Sumut Kantor Cabang Koordinator Medan. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling. The results show that career development and organizational commitment influence extrinsic motivation, and extrinsic motivation plays a role in improving employee performance and mediating the relationship between variables. These findings strengthen the role of extrinsic motivation as an important mechanism in bridging human resource policies and employee performance in regional banking.

Kajian Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Terapan 2025 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

This study aims to analyze the impact of business combinations through acquisition on the financial performance of PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk. The research employs a descriptive quantitative approach, focusing on the acquiring firm in the Indonesian telecommunications infrastructure sector. The data used are secondary data obtained from the company’s annual financial statements for the period 2019–2023, sourced from the Indonesia Stock Exchange and the company’s official website. Financial performance is analyzed using Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Net Profit Margin (NPM), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) by comparing the periods before, during, and after the acquisition conducted in 2021. The results indicate that the acquisition exerted short-term pressure on asset efficiency and profitability, as reflected by the decline in ROA and NPM in the year of acquisition. However, in the post-acquisition period, the company demonstrated an improvement in operational performance, particularly in Net Profit Margin, suggesting that the economic benefits of the business combination gradually materialized. Meanwhile, fluctuations in ROE and DER reflect adjustments in the capital structure following the acquisition. These findings suggest that the success of an acquisition cannot be evaluated solely based on short-term financial performance but requires continuous assessment to capture its medium- and long-term effects. This study provides practical implications for management in formulating post-acquisition integration strategies and contributes empirically to the accounting and finance literature on business combinations in Indonesia.

The patent dispute between Apple Inc. and Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. is one of the largest Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) conflicts in the modern technology industry. This case began in 2007, when Apple launched the first-generation iPhone, revolutionizing the smartphone market with its minimalist design, full-touch screen, and intuitive interface. The success of the iPhone opened new markets and positioned Apple as an innovation leader. Samsung, as the largest electronics manufacturer in Asia, then produced the Android-based Samsung Galaxy smartphone, which quickly became the iPhone's main competitor. This business competition then turned into a legal dispute when Apple considered Samsung's products too similar to its products. This case involves claims of infringement of design patents and utility patents filed in various jurisdictions such as the United States, South Korea, Japan, Germany, and the United Kingdom. This article uses a normative juridical method with a statutory and case approach. The analysis shows that the patent dispute between Apple and Samsung cannot be resolved through a single international forum due to the territorial nature of the patent system. Therefore, litigation takes place in several countries and results in varying decisions.

This study aims to analyze the role of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) in improving community welfare in Tanarawa Village, Waiblama District, Sikka Regency, and to evaluate the implementation of BUMDes programs. Tanarawa Village has primary economic potential in the plantation and food crop sectors, managed largely by the community as farmers. BUMDes was established as an instrument for village economic empowerment with the aim of increasing Village Original Income (PAD), strengthening the local economy, and maximizing the utilization of natural resources and human resources. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that BUMDes Tanarawa is still in the development stage, although it has been able to contribute to community welfare through the provision of basic necessities, training, outreach, and consultations related to business management. The success of BUMDes is influenced by government support, quality leadership, community participation, and transparent and accountable management. However, limited understanding by the community and village officials, as well as obstacles in implementing outreach, are inhibiting factors that need to be addressed. This study confirms that BUMDes plays a strategic role in local economic empowerment, improving community welfare, and equitable distribution of village economic growth.

The rapid development of digitalization and innovation has become a key driver in improving business processes and the competitiveness of organizations worldwide. This study is the first comprehensive bibliometric analysis examining the relationship between digitalization and innovation in business processes, to map the intellectual structure of this field, track the development of its themes, and identify remaining research gaps. This analysis, which utilizes data from Scopus processed using VOSviewer and Biblioshiny software, covers publications from 2010 to 2024 and employs co-occurrence, co-authorship, and thematic evolution techniques. The results show a rapid growth in publications since 2016, peaking at over 110 publications in 2024. Eight key thematic clusters stand out: Industry 4.0, artificial intelligence, robotic process automation, blockchain, drivers, and agile business process management. Despite the field's maturity, it still suffers from high fragmentation, strong geographic concentration, and a reliance on cross-sectoral research designs. As a result, longitudinal insights remain limited, and digital transformation failure rates remain high, reaching up to 70%. This research presents the first quantitative and visual roadmap of global knowledge flows in this domain and underscores the need for longitudinal, geographically inclusive, and people-centric research to move beyond single-point understandings to a sustainable, context-sensitive framework that enhances both the theoretical depth and practical success of digital-based business process innovation

Corporate value plays a crucial role in evaluating the success and sustainability of a business entity, influenced by various internal factors such as special connections, transfer pricing practices, and the effective tax rate (ETR). This study aims to examine the impact of these variables on the value of companies in the property and real estate sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, and to examine the role of corporate social responsibility (CSR) as a moderating variable. The study's findings reveal that special relationships and less transparent transfer pricing practices generally decrease company value, while efficiency in ETR can increase it. CSR acts as a moderating factor, strengthening the positive relationship between internal variables and company value while reducing the negative risks of unethical practices. This study recommends the implementation of more solid governance and transparency in business activities to increase competitiveness and company value in the Indonesian property and real estate industry.

Digital transformation is an urgent need for MSMEs to maintain competitiveness, yet many businesses like Toko ANHA Kosmetik still rely on manual operational systems that pose a high risk of inefficiency and losses due to expired products. This study aims to design and develop a mobile-based cosmetic sales application capable of integrating inventory management with an early warning feature for product expiration. The methodology employed is Design Thinking, encompassing the stages of empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test to ensure the solution is user-centered. The results indicate that this approach successfully identified the primary pain points of the store owner and translated them into functional features such as automatic T-30 expired date notifications and digital product catalogs. System testing was conducted using Black Box Testing, yielding 100% functional validity, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), which resulted in an average score of 83.49%, categorized as "Excellent." This study concludes that the designed application is not only technically effective in preventing operational losses but also highly acceptable to MSME users due to its intuitive and functional interface.

This study presents a meta-analysis of open-access accounting information systems (AIS) literature in Indonesia during the digital transition period of 2015-2025. The primary objective is to identify and map the taxonomy of Independent Variables (X) and Dependent Variables (Y) predominantly used in academic and practical research. Through a systematic review of 15 key accredited articles with Digital Object Identifiers (DOI), this research finds that AIS success determinants (Variable X) have evolved from purely technical factors to integrative clusters encompassing Human Capital (competence, training), Organizational (culture, management commitment), and Technological (infrastructure, internal control) aspects. Meanwhile, Dependent Variables (Y) have shifted from mere technical user satisfaction to strategic impacts such as financial report quality, operational efficiency, and MSME business performance. These findings indicate that AIS research in Indonesia is heavily influenced by public sector regulatory contexts and cloud technology adoption in the MSME sector. This report serves as a reference framework for future researchers to explore emerging variables such as artificial intelligence and cybersecurity behavior within the accounting ecosystem.
