This study aims to analyze the influence of a halal lifestyle on consumer preferences in selecting Sharia-compliant retail products. The study employed a Systematic Literature Review method, reviewing various empirical and conceptual studies published between 2017 and 2025. The analysis focused on the relationship between halal awareness, religiosity, ethical consumption values, and Muslim consumer behavior in making choices about Sharia-compliant retail products and services. The results indicate that a halal lifestyle is viewed not only as a form of compliance with Islamic law but also as a social identity and a modern consumption pattern that influences consumer purchasing decisions. Consumers with high levels of halal awareness and religiosity tend to have a greater preference for Sharia-compliant retail products that guarantee halal certification, quality, transparency, and ethical values in their business processes. Furthermore, trust, Islamic brand image, and marketing strategies based on Islamic values contribute to strengthening consumer loyalty to Sharia-compliant retail. This research provides managerial implications for Sharia-compliant retail businesses to develop innovative, educational, and tailored marketing strategies to meet the halal lifestyle needs of modern Muslims.

This study aims to elaborate on the mechanism of product design, word of mouth (WOM), price perception, and product quality on purchase decisions, with brand image serving as a mediating variable. The research focuses on consumers of Ogel-Ogel, a traditional snack product from Pemalang. Utilizing a quantitative descriptive method, data were gathered from 100 respondents through purposive and accidental sampling techniques. Data analysis employed path analysis and the Sobel test to measure the strength of the mediation effect. The results reveal that, partially, all independent variables and brand image exert a positive and significant influence on purchase decisions. The most crucial finding indicates that brand image acts as an effective mediating bridge, reinforcing the transformation of physical product attributes and social recommendations into actual purchasing actions. This underscores that for MSMEs in the culinary sector, visual uniqueness and quality are insufficient without consistent brand reputation management. This research provides strategic contributions for local product managers in integrating traditional marketing elements with brand equity strengthening to navigate an increasingly competitive market.

This research aims to analyze the influence of brand image, service quality, and product variety on purchasing decisions, both partially and simultaneously. The study applied a quantitative approach with a survey method, collecting data from 130 respondents using questionnaires distributed through accidental sampling. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS, employing validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination (R²). The results show that brand image and product variety have a positive but not significant effect on purchasing decisions. In contrast, service quality has a positive and significant influence, emphasizing the crucial role of service in encouraging consumers to make purchases. Simultaneously, the three variables significantly influence purchasing decisions, as indicated by an F-value of 56.740 with a significance level of 0.000. This study aims to analyze the influence of brand image, product variety, and bundling price on purchasing decisions among X consumers. The method used is a quantitative approach with a causal research design, so as to be able to explain the cause-and-effect relationship between variables. The research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 96 respondents who are active consumers of X. To ensure data quality, a series of tests were conducted including validity, reliability, normality, linearity, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity. The main analysis used multiple linear regression supported by t-tests, F-tests, and coefficient of determination (R²) processed using SPSS software version 26. The results showed that brand image had a significant effect on purchasing decisions, indicating that consumers' positive perceptions of X's reputation were able to encourage higher purchasing interest. Bundling price also proved to have a significant effect, because the strategy of combining package prices was considered to provide economic benefits and added value for consumers. In contrast, product variety did not have a significant effect, indicating that consumers place more emphasis on brand image and pricing strategies than simply menu diversity. However, when tested simultaneously, all three variables were still shown to have a significant influence on purchasing decisions. The coefficient of determination value of 0.594 indicates that the combination of the three variables can explain 59.4% of the variation in purchasing decisions, while the remaining 40.6% is influenced by other external factors such as service quality, consumer trends, promotions, and customer experience. These findings reinforce the understanding that a strong brand image-based marketing strategy and the implementation of appropriate bundling prices can be key to increasing consumer appeal. For local coffee businesses like X, this study provides practical implications to focus more efforts on strengthening brand image, creating a consistent consumer experience, and optimizing pricing strategies.

This study investigates the influence of promotion, brand image, and location on purchasing decisions at 3Second Store Kediri. The research employs a quantitative approach using both primary and secondary data sources. The primary data were obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to 309 respondents, while the secondary data were collected via interviews with store supervisors and direct observation at the research site. The variables under examination include promotion, brand image, and location as independent variables, and purchasing decision as the dependent variable. Data analysis involved both partial and simultaneous hypothesis testing to determine the strength and significance of each variable’s effect. The findings reveal that, partially, each of the three independent variables—promotion, brand image, and location—has a significant and positive effect on purchasing decisions. This indicates that improvement in any of these aspects will lead to a higher likelihood of customers making a purchase. Simultaneous testing also demonstrates that the three variables collectively exert a significant and positive influence on purchasing decisions. Among these, promotion emerges as the most dominant factor affecting purchasing decisions, as confirmed through the partial t-test results. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.581, which signifies that 58% of the variation in purchasing decisions can be explained by the three examined variables, while the remaining 42% is attributed to other factors not covered in this study, such as product quality, customer service, and pricing strategies. These results suggest that marketing strategies focusing on well-planned promotional activities, maintaining a strong and positive brand image, and choosing a strategic store location can effectively increase customer purchasing decisions. The findings provide valuable insights for retail management, particularly for fashion retail brands like 3Second Store, in developing targeted strategies to optimize sales performance.

This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality, price, and product innovation on purchasing decisions for Viva lipstick, with brand image as a mediating variable, among female university students in Semarang. The research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method, using purposive sampling of 100 female students who use Viva lipstick. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to examine both direct and indirect relationships among the variables. The results reveal that product quality has a positive and significant effect on both purchasing decisions and brand image. This indicates that consumers’ perceptions of Viva lipstick’s quality—such as color durability, texture smoothness, and comfort in use—play an important role in shaping a positive brand image and encouraging purchasing decisions. In contrast, price and product innovation were found to have no significant effect on either purchasing decisions or brand image, suggesting that the current pricing strategy and product innovation efforts have not yet become the main attraction for consumers. Brand image was found to have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions and to mediate the influence of product quality on purchasing decisions. This mediation is partial, meaning that product quality influences purchasing decisions not only directly but also indirectly through the enhancement of brand image. The practical implications of this study emphasize the importance for Viva Cosmetics to continuously improve product quality, including formulation and packaging, while strengthening brand communication strategies to ensure consistent positive consumer perceptions. Furthermore, the company should reassess its pricing and product innovation strategies to remain competitive in the dynamic cosmetics market. By focusing on product quality and brand image, Viva is expected to increase consumer appeal and loyalty, particularly within the university student market segment.
