Content commodification has become a dominant phenomenon within Indonesia’s digital ecosystem, where communication messages are no longer oriented toward use value such as education and enlightenment, but toward exchange value determined by algorithms, virality, and monetization potential. This transformation is evident in the behavior of content creators, online media, politicians, and government institutions that adjust their message formats to align with the logic of platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Political content during the 2024 Election, clickbait practices in online journalism, and the aestheticization of public campaigns such as Bangga Buatan Indonesia(BBI) and Gerakan Kamis Pakai Lokal (GASPOL) demonstrate that content today is produced primarily to capture attention rather than to strengthen social literacy. Using a constructivist paradigm and a descriptive qualitative approach, this study analyzes how exchange value dominates meaning-making processes in digital spaces. Through the lenses of media political economy, cultural industries, and surveillance capitalism, the study shows that content commodification shifts the function of communication from a deliberative public sphere to a commercial arena governed by algorithms. These findings highlight the urgent need for digital literacy and communication ethics to safeguard the social role of media in Indonesia.

Independence refers to the freedom to act and the ability to control one’s own or a group’s activities to protect oneself or others from various diseases or conditions. Among the elderly, the ability to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADL) often declines, which in turn reduces their independence in carrying out daily activities such as dressing, toileting, climbing stairs, or moving around. One of the common health problems affecting older adults is rheumatoid arthritis—an autoimmune disorder that causes inflammation and swelling in the joints, often affecting one or both sides of the body, making it difficult for the elderly to perform routine tasks. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of independence and the incidence of rheumatoid arthritis among the elderly in the working area of Tinangkung Utara Public Health Center, Banggai Kepulauan Regency. This research employed a quantitative approach using the Chi-Square test. The study involved 50 respondents selected through a non-probability purposive sampling technique. The results of the Chi-Square analysis showed a p-value of 0.002 with a significance level of < 0.05, indicating that the research hypothesis was accepted. This finding means there is a significant relationship between the level of independence and the occurrence of rheumatoid arthritis among the elderly in the study area. In conclusion, the level of independence influences the occurrence of rheumatoid arthritis in older adults. Therefore, it is highly recommended that the elderly maintain active and independent movements as a way to keep their joints healthy and functional..

The number of school-age adolescent girls in Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi, still faces serious challenges related to nutritional problems such as anemia and chronic energy deficiency (SEZ). Low nutritional literacy and unbalanced food consumption habits also worsen their nutritional status, especially during puberty when nutritional needs increase significantly. This service activity aims to increase the understanding and awareness of young women on the principles of balanced nutrition through a participatory educational approach. The implementation of the activity was carried out at SMP Negeri 2 Bunta, Simpang Raya District, involving 30 students in grades VII and VIII as well as UKS supervisory teachers. The intervention included providing material on "Fill My Plate", the 4 pillars of balanced nutrition, and the risk of nutritional disorders in adolescents. The material was delivered in the form of interactive counseling using leaflet media, accompanied by knowledge measurement through pre-test, post-test, and one-week post-activity evaluation. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in students' understanding of the principles of balanced nutrition, with the knowledge score of the good category increasing from 40% to 87%. Most of the participants were able to mention the composition of the meal portion, the importance of breakfast, restrictions on fast food consumption, and the need to drink enough water every day. This activity also has an impact on increasing the capacity of teachers in assisting and monitoring the health status of students through the UKS program. Teachers become more active in conducting periodic counseling and recording the nutritional development of female students on a regular basis. School-based balanced nutrition counseling has been proven to be effective in improving adolescent nutritional literacy. This educational model can be replicated in other regions with cross-sectoral support such as education offices, health centers, and village governments, to support the achievement of sustainable development goals in the health sector.

The nutritional awareness of pregnant women in the Simpang Raya Community Health Center (Puskesmas) in Banggai Regency is still relatively low, necessitating educational efforts to increase their understanding of the importance of balanced nutrition during pregnancy. This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge of pregnant women through participatory and educational nutrition counseling held for one week in the Puskesmas hall. The methods used included interactive lectures, group discussions, and healthy menu preparation simulations, supported by leaflets adapted to the local context. A total of 40 pregnant women from various trimesters of pregnancy participated in the activity and were assessed using pre- and post-test instruments. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participant knowledge, from 43% in the "good" category before the activity to 78% after the counseling. Most participants were able to understand the basic principles of balanced nutrition, identify food sources of important nutrients such as iron and folic acid, and prepare daily menus according to Ministry of Health guidelines. This improvement indicates that visual and interactive information delivery is easier for participants to understand, especially those with lower educational backgrounds. Furthermore, this activity also serves as a means of empowering pregnant women to be more active in maintaining their own and their fetus' health by choosing nutritious foods. Therefore, it is crucial for health workers at community health centers (Puskesmas) and integrated health post (Posyandu) cadres to continue this educational program on an ongoing basis. Structured, communicative, and participatory nutrition education is effective in increasing pregnant women's understanding and can be replicated periodically at other Posyandus (Integrated Health Posts) to support stunting prevention efforts and improve maternal and child health.

The increasing need for electrical energy in Indonesia encourages the development of new renewable energy (EBT), including hydroelectric power plants (PLTA) as an environmentally friendly solution. This research was conducted at the Mentawa Dam, West Toili District, Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi, to analyze the potential of water energy that can be utilized as a source of micro-hydro power plants (PLTMH). This dam currently functions as irrigation and a tourist attraction, but has significant potential to generate sustainable electrical energy. The research methods include measuring water discharge using the float method, measuring the height of the water fall (head) with an altimeter and GPS, and analyzing the potential for electrical power using the formula P = η ⋅ ρ ⋅ g ⋅ Q ⋅ H. The measurement results show an average water discharge of 3.01 m³ / s and a water fall (head) of 6.56 meters. With a turbine efficiency of 80%, the potential electrical power that can be generated reaches 154.76 kW. This study recommends the use of Kaplan turbines in Mentawa Dam, which are ideal for large discharge conditions and low to medium heads, and can adapt to discharge fluctuations, making it an optimal choice to maximize energy potential. This research is expected to provide sustainable energy solutions for the people of Toili Barat District and support the development of the tourism sector.

The implementation of the Enhanced Recovery After Cesarean Surgery (ERACS) method as an innovation in the Sectio Cesarea (SC) surgical procedure aims to accelerate recovery, minimize pain, and improve patient comfort. Although it has been clinically proven, there is still limited research exploring patients' subjective experiences with this method, particularly in eastern Indonesia. This study aims to explore in depth the physical, emotional, psychological experiences, as well as perceptions of service and patient expectations after undergoing SC with the ERACS method at Banggai Laut General Hospital. The study employs a qualitative approach with a phenomenological study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with purposively selected informants and analyzed using Braun & Clarke's thematic analysis technique. The results showed that patients experienced rapid physical recovery, minimal pain, and were able to mobilize early. Emotionally, patients felt calm and stable, supported by good communication with medical staff and family support. However, information about the ERACS procedure before surgery was still perceived as lacking detail. Patients also hope that this method continues to be implemented with improvements in educational aspects and financial support from BPJS. Patients' experiences with the ERACS method are generally very positive and reflect the success of this approach not only clinically but also in creating a more comfortable, efficient, and humane childbirth experience. This study recommends enhancing preoperative education, postoperative monitoring, and more inclusive financial support systems.

Obesity in women of childbearing age is a growing health problem, not only due to dietary patterns and lack of physical activity, but also due to the influence of social and cultural factors. This study aims to gain a deeper understanding of the experiences, perspectives, and habits of women of reproductive age who are obese within the context of local social and cultural norms. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews with five primary informants who are obese, as well as triangulation informants from community health workers and healthcare professionals. The results of the study indicate that perceptions of obesity are still predominantly viewed from the perspective of physical appearance rather than health. Social factors such as family eating patterns, snacking habits, comments from others, and lack of physical activity are triggers for obesity. Meanwhile, local culture has a varied influence—some communities are beginning to adopt slim body ideals, while others remain neutral. Obesity also impacts self-confidence, social stigma, and limitations in daily activities. However, most informants expressed hope for a healthier life. This study recommends interventions that consider local cultural values and involve family and community support in obesity prevention effort.

Adolescence is a critical phase in individual development, especially for adolescent girls who begin to experience menstruation as a sign of reproductive maturity. However, not all adolescents experience menstruation normally; some experience disorders such as menstrual pain, irregular cycles, and prolonged bleeding. This study aims to explore in depth the subjective experiences of adolescent girls with menstrual disorders at SMP Negeri 2 Bunta, Banggai Regency, focusing on the nature of the disorders experienced, their interpretation of these experiences, coping strategies, and the social support received. This study employs a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design. The primary informants were female adolescents in grades VII–IX who had experienced menstrual disorders in the past six months, selected purposively until data saturation was achieved. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, non-participatory observation, and document analysis. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that menstrual disorders are viewed as normal by most informants, despite causing physical discomfort and psychological anxiety. Adolescents' responses to these disorders vary, ranging from the use of warm compresses and medication to no intervention at all. The primary sources of information are mothers and social media, while the roles of teachers and schools remain limited. Social support is most commonly provided by family, although some adolescents also feel supported by peers and teachers. This study emphasizes the importance of systematic reproductive health education, school involvement in supporting adolescents, and the creation of safe and stigma-free discussion spaces regarding menstruation-related issues.

Hospital information systems are technologies used in hospital information management. Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital has kept up with technological developments by using HIS which is used to simplify the service process in the medical record unit from incoming patients to outpatients. The purpose of this study is to find out the overview based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) dementia, which is an information system theory of how users can accept and utilize technology. The RME evaluation considers five perceptions, namely perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, attitude toward using, behavioral intention, and actual technology use. The method of this study is quantitative description research and the object of this study is 96 Hospital Information System (HIS) respondents. The results of this study show that as many as (61.5%) respondents who received HIS and (38.5%) who have not received HIS with details of the perceived ease of use HIS obtained (75%), perceived usefulnesss (70.8%), Attitude toward using was obtained (79.2%), behavioral intention was obtained (62.5%) and in terms of Actual Technology Use as many as 70.8% used every day with a duration of 3 hours per day. It can be concluded that the perception of HIS users has gone well and provided benefits for officers including increased productivity in doing work, but there are still several shortcomings so that there is a need for monitoring and socialization of users who are still not skilled in using HIS and developing HIS features that are more responsive to the needs of health workers and improving technological infrastructure so that HIS can run more easily.

The application of good environmental ergonomics and occupational safety can help reduce the number of workplace accidents, improve employee welfare, and increase efficiency and productivity in the workplace. Therefore, research on Environmental Ergonomics and Occupational Safety is needed. To understand the contribution to scientific knowledge in the field of environmental ergonomics in medical record rooms, this study uses a qualitative descriptive research type to systematically describe Environmental Ergonomics and Occupational Safety. Observations in the medical record room at Tiara Hospital in Bekasi related to lighting in the medical record unit room found that the lighting in the medical record unit room was sufficient to assist staff in performing their duties. However, the lighting in the medical record document storage room (filing) is still uneven, and the medical record room door that cannot be locked poses a high risk to document security. Although there is a staff member on duty 24 hours a day, unauthorized individuals can still enter when the staff is inattentive. This can lead to unauthorized access to sensitive medical record documents, the risk of document theft or damage, and potential breaches of patient privacy. Suggestions include improving the lighting in the patient registration area to meet the recommended minimum standards and enhancing the security system, including ensuring that the medical record room door can be properly locked and considering the use of additional security technologies such as CCTV and access control systems.
