The garment industry in Indonesia has experienced rapid growth in line with the increasing demand for fashion products, particularly in Bandung Regency, which is one of the main garment centers. CV Kiral, as a garment company, faces intense competition, especially in terms of promotion and product quality, which are crucial factors in attracting consumers. This study aims to examine the influence of promotion and product quality on consumer purchasing decisions at CV Kiral, both partially and simultaneously. The research method employed is quantitative with a descriptive and verificative approach. The sample consisted of 100 respondents, who were CV Kiral consumers, determined using Cochran’s formula and selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination with the assistance of SPSS software. The results indicate that promotion has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, as does product quality, which also demonstrates a positive and significant influence. Simultaneously, promotion and product quality make a strong contribution to improving consumer purchasing decisions. Thus, the success of CV Kiral in facing competition is highly determined by the effectiveness of creative digital promotions and the consistency of product quality that meets consumer expectations.

The increasing competition in the coffee shop industry in Bandung requires businesses to adopt marketing strategies that emphasize long-term relationships with customers. This study aims to analyze the implementation of relationship marketing strategies in building business networks at Groei Coffee, a community-based café located in Sukapura, Bandung Regency. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that relationship marketing at Groei Coffee is implemented through consistent product quality, two-way communication with customers, personalized services, and collaboration with campus communities and strategic partners. These strategies have proven effective in enhancing customer loyalty, expanding business networks, and strengthening the café’s competitive position in the food and beverage industry. However, several challenges were identified, including limited resources, price sensitivity among student customers, and dynamic consumer preferences. Therefore, an adaptive and sustainable approach is required to ensure that relationship marketing strategies provide long-term benefits for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The increasing poverty rate in West Bandung Regency has encouraged BAZNAS to introduce the Z-Mart programme, which provides business capital assistance as an effort to improve community income. The effectiveness of the programme is assessed based on its ability to achieve predetermined targets and comply with organisational regulations. This study adopts a quantitative approach, involving 151 mustahik as the population, with 61 mustahik selected as the sample to complete the questionnaire. The objective of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of zakat fund distribution on mustahik income in the Z-Mart programme implemented by BAZNAS of West Bandung Regency. Data analysis using SPSS version 25.0 indicates that the independent variable (X) contributes 59.8 per cent, and that the effectiveness of zakat distribution has a significant effect on mustahik income (R-square = 0.357). Regression analysis reveals that a one-point increase in distribution effectiveness contributes to a positive increase of 0.814 points in mustahik income. The t-test results show that the calculated t-value (5.725) exceeds the critical t-value (1.671), indicating acceptance of the alternative hypothesis and rejection of the null hypothesis. Therefore, this study concludes that the distribution of zakat funds through the Z-Mart programme is effective in improving the income level of mustahik in BAZNAS of West Bandung Regency.

Public policy innovation is an important necessity for local governments in responding to the complexity of public issues. One relevant approach to encourage policy innovation is policy networks, which emphasize collaboration between government and non-government actors. This study aims to analyze the role of policy networks as a public policy innovation strategy in Bandung Regency. The study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive-analytical methods. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies of actors involved in the public policy innovation process. The results show that public policy innovation in Bandung Regency is not yet fully supported by an inclusive and sustainable policy network. The dominance of the local government, weak coordination between actors, limited capacity of non-governmental actors, and regulatory and bureaucratic barriers are the main obstacles. This study emphasizes that strengthening collaborative, participatory, and institutionalized policy networks is an important prerequisite for promoting adaptive and sustainable public policy innovation at the local level.

This study aims to examine in depth the level of effectiveness and obstacles faced in the use of RME. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach that aims to describe in depth the effectiveness and obstacles in the use of RME at the Baleendah Health Center. Data collection techniques were carried out through triangulation, namely, observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study consisted of three people, namely the Head of the Puskesmas, medical records officer, and a doctor. Overall, the results showed that the implementation of RME at the Puskesmas received full support from the management, including aspects of funding, training, technology, and regular evaluation of the problems faced. RME has become the main focus because it is considered more effective and efficient than manual systems, especially in accelerating and improving the accuracy of services. However, the implementation still encountered a number of obstacles, such as internet network disruptions in the early stages, which have now been resolved by adding devices at certain points. The limited number of IT experts is also an obstacle because it slows down the handling of technical problems. In addition, server disruptions still occur because data storage is centralized at Diskominfo along with 62 other Puskesmas in Bandung Regency, which causes delays in data access.

This study aims to analyze investment efficiency in Bandung Regency from 2011 to 2024 and project it for the years 2025 to 2030. Investment efficiency is measured using the Incremental Capital-Output Ratio (ICOR) based on data from Gross Regional Domestic Product (PDRB) and Gross Fixed Capital Formation (PMTB) at constant 2010 prices. Forecasting is performed using the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) model. The analysis results show fluctuating ICOR values, reflecting annual variations in investment efficiency. Projections for 2025–2030 indicate a potential decline in efficiency, which signals important considerations for regional development planning. The findings highlight the need for the Investment and Integrated One-Stop Service Office (DPMPTSP) to use ICOR as a key performance indicator when formulating more effective and efficient investment policies to support quality economic growth in Bandung Regency. This study recommends improving future investment policies by utilizing the ICOR indicator to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of regional investments.

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is a chronic condition that requires optimal adherence to pharmacological treatment to prevent disease progression and complications. This study aims to analyze the level of adherence to anti-diabetic medication among T2DM patients and to explore the association between the experience of medication side effects and adherence levels. A descriptive-analytic cross-sectional design was employed, involving 97 T2DM patients in Bandung Regency and Bandung City, Indonesia. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Chi-Square test. The results revealed that 53.6% of respondents exhibited low medication adherence. The majority reported having diabetes-related complications (88.7%) and experiencing medication side effects (57.7%). A significant positive association was found between medication side effects and adherence level (p = 0.039), indicating that patients who experienced side effects tended to be more adherent. Demographic factors such as place of residence, gender, and age showed no significant association with adherence. The findings suggest that side effects may hinder adherence; however, awareness of the body’s response to medication, including side effects, may also serve as a motivator for adherence.

This study aims to comprehensively examine the role of BAZNAS (National Amil Zakat Agency) of West Bandung Regency in the distribution of productive zakat as a means to foster community-based business development during the first semester of 2025. Productive zakat, unlike consumptive assistance, is positioned as a strategic instrument to improve the economic independence of mustahik (zakat recipients), particularly micro-entrepreneurs such as small shop owners, farmer groups, tailors, and individuals engaged in similar economic activities. The research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach to capture an in-depth understanding of program implementation. Data collection methods include in-depth interviews with BAZNAS officials, serving as key informants, and the examination of relevant documents, reports, and activity records. The findings indicate that the application process for assistance is conducted through formal, verified requests, ensuring transparency and accountability, rather than accepting open-form submissions. The form and amount of assistance are adjusted to the specific type and needs of each business, and recipients are prioritized based on the eight asnaf categories, with a focus on those who already have ongoing business activities. In addition to capital provision, the program aims to empower mustahik to transition into muzakki (zakat givers) over time, thereby creating a sustainable cycle of economic empowerment. Monitoring activities are conducted three times a year to assess progress and identify challenges. However, the study also highlights constraints, including limited mentoring sessions and the need for more consistent supervision to ensure that the assistance translates into long-term economic impact. To maximize effectiveness, stronger collaboration among BAZNAS, local communities, and regional government is recommended, alongside capacity-building initiatives for beneficiaries. This collaborative approach is expected to reinforce the sustainability and impact of productive zakat programs, contributing to broader poverty reduction and community empowerment goals.

This research discusses the process of relocating residents from informal settlements under the Pasopati Bridge to Simple Rental Flats (Rusunawa) in Solokan Jeruk, Bandung Regency. This relocation is a policy of the Bandung City Government and West Java Provincial Government to organize extreme slum areas and provide adequate housing for low-income people. Using a qualitative approach and literature study, this research analyzes the mechanisms for implementing relocation, the actors involved, and the social and economic impacts experienced by residents after relocation. The research results show that although relocation provides access to more adequate housing and basic facilities, residents face serious challenges in terms of social adaptation, loss of community networks, increased economic burden, and loss of old sources of livelihood. Relocation also causes psychosocial pressure and shifts in the structure of social interactions due to changes in the physical environment and social norms in the flat. This study emphasizes the importance of a participatory approach and comprehensive post-relocation interventions, including economic, social and psychological support, so that relocation is not just a physical transfer, but also a sustainable life transformation for affected residents.

The documentary film Breaking Boundaries: Ruang Yang Sama explores the experiences of athletes with disabilities in Bandung Regency as they confront prevailing social stigma. Rather than allowing their physical limitations to hinder them, these athletes turn such conditions into motivation to pursue achievements in sports. This documentary employs a directorial concept that combines expository and observational approaches. The expository method utilizes voice-over narration to present data-based information, while the observational style captures the athletes’ activities naturally, without direct intervention from the filmmaker. The filmmaking process follows three key stages: pre-production, production, and post-production. As the director, the author is responsible for guiding the visual narrative to support the intended message. The documentary applies a three-act narrative structure—introduction, conflict development, and resolution—which contributes to the coherence of the storyline. Through this combination, the film aims to portray the realities faced by disabled athletes and foster greater appreciation for their efforts and accomplishments in sports

Mahmud Village, located in Bandung Regency, is one of the indigenous communities that continues to uphold its customary laws and traditions amidst the tide of modernization. This research aims to explore and analyze the political position and role of customary law within this community, with a focus on how customary norms and rules are implemented, maintained, and passed down amidst the dynamics of social change and interactions with state law. Using a qualitative ethnographic approach, data was collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with customary leaders, community members, and government officials, and a review of relevant literature. The research results indicate that customary law holds a highly significant and respected position among the residents of Mahmud Village. The customary figure, known as the "Kuncen," holds the highest authority in enforcing customary law, leading traditional ceremonies, and resolving various disputes, ranging from marriage and inheritance matters, ceremonial procedures, to mediation mechanisms between residents. Although customary law has strong social power, its application is not entirely independent of the influence of state law, particularly in cases that intersect with criminal law or national legislation. These findings reveal a process of adaptation, where the Mahmud Village indigenous community strives to maintain traditional values while adapting customary rules to remain relevant to current demands. This research confirms that customary law functions not only as a social regulatory system but also as a bulwark of cultural identity and a vital instrument for the sustainability of indigenous communities. Therefore, understanding and recognizing customary law is crucial for maintaining harmony between local traditions and the national legal framework.

The Campus Teaching Program is a concrete implementation of the Freedom to Learn policy, which positions students as agents of educational transformation in elementary schools, particularly in disadvantaged, frontier, and outermost (3T) areas. One fundamental problem faced by elementary schools in these areas is students' poor understanding of legal norms and school regulations. This condition contributes to high rates of disciplinary violations and rampant bullying behavior, such as verbal harassment, exclusion, and peer coercion. This study aims to analyze the contribution of the Campus Teaching Program in fostering legal awareness in elementary school students through a character education approach. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study method and was conducted at Budisari Public Elementary School, Cililin District, West Bandung Regency. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with teachers, students, and student participants; participant observation during the learning process; and documentation of activities. Data validity was ensured through methodological triangulation and member checking techniques. The results indicate that the involvement of student teachers in the Campus Teaching Program facilitated the internalization of legal values through learning that integrates character education into both subjects and extracurricular activities. Students successfully developed various educational strategies, such as simulations of school regulations, role-plays about the consequences of violations, and group discussions on the values of honesty, responsibility, and mutual respect. The implementation of these activities resulted in increased student legal awareness, as evidenced by greater compliance with school regulations, fewer disciplinary violations, and a significant decrease in bullying incidents.
