Penelitian ini membahas pentingnya pembelajaran mengenai perang proxy (proxy war) bagi taruna Korps Marinir di Akademi Angkatan Laut sebagai bekal dalam menghadapi ancaman pertahanan negara di masa depan. Perubahan makna istilah “perang” yang kini lebih sering dipahami sebagai sifat daripada sekadar tindakan, menunjukkan urgensi pemahaman baru di kalangan militer. Proxy war merupakan konfrontasi tidak langsung antara dua kekuatan melalui perantara untuk menghindari konflik langsung yang dapat menyebabkan kerusakan fatal. Saat ini, Taruna Korps Marinir belum memperoleh pembelajaran khusus mengenai proxy war, sehingga materi ini sangat dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesiapan mereka. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan konsep pembelajaran proxy war yang dapat diterapkan dalam kurikulum pendidikan taruna Korps Marinir, agar mereka memiliki bekal yang memadai untuk menjadi perwira TNI-AL yang mampu menghadapi berbagai ancaman pertahanan di masa depan. Penelitian menggunakan metode penelitian dan pengembangan, meliputi pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner, wawancara, serta uji coba konsep pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi materi proxy war secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesiapan taruna dalam menghadapi skenario perang tidak langsung.

The Indonesian Navy Academy is a military educational institution that produces cadets to become professional and reliable Indonesian Navy officers. Cadets are required to have strong physical and mental strength to achieve responsiveness, resilience, and resilience in undergoing education, training, and upbringing. To support learning and training activities, quality food intake and service are required. Quality meal service is needed in order to increase the satisfaction of AAL cadets during meal activities in the Hadiwinarso Rds Loungeroom. For this reason, qualified Human Resources are needed to man the Hadiwinarso Rds Loungeroom, namely Cooks and Waiters in improving meal services for cadets. The researcher focused on personnel development and made it as input to optimize the cooks and waiters in the Hadwinarso Rds Loungeroom to improve meal services for cadets. In this study, the SWOT method was used to reveal internal and external factors that influence the performance of Waiters and Cooks. This study is expected to find the right optimization strategy by identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. After conducting a SWOT analysis, a strategy was obtained to optimize Waiters and Cooks with a combination strategy of Weakness-Opportunity in quadrant III. W-O strategy (supporting the Turn-Around strategy) namely the organization faces enormous opportunities, but on the other hand faces several internal obstacles/weaknesses with the focus of the strategy being to minimize internal weaknesses so that it can seize better opportunities. The results of the study show that the W-O Strategy that the author found is Strategy 1: Given training/courses according to their fields so that they can work optimally and acquire new skills, Strategy 2: Cooks and Waiters have experience in supporting protocol activities at AAL well. Working well and having experience is capital to open up opportunities for PHL to be appointed as PNS or promoted to division head/kitchen head by considering the working time and amount of experience during AAL, Strategy 3: AAL needs to have standardization in recruiting workers so that later workers are ready to be placed to work according to their fields and open up opportunities to continue improving skills/abilities through courses/training provided by AAL. Daily drinking water requirement for healthy individuals is a crucial factor in maintaining health and physiological balance. For individuals involved in intense physical activity or exercise, fluid requirements can increase significantly, with recommendations reaching 3 to 4 liters per day to replace fluid loss through sweat, so researchers consider it important to discuss the provision of clean drinking water installations with the application of Reverse Osmosis (RO) machines that utilize PDAM water as a source, which is in the Candrasa complex to support the fulfillment of drinking water needs for the Indonesian Navy Academy Cadets. AAL is a military educational institution that requires a supply of safe and high-quality drinking water for the Cadets so that the learning and training process can run smoothly. This study covers the daily drinking water needs of AAL Cadets, the current condition of the drinking water supply, and the concept of the RO machine itself in the Candrasa complex by utilizing PDAM water to produce healthy and suitable drinking water for AAL Cadets. The results of this study are expected to increase the availability of clean and safe drinking water for AAL cadets, facilitate drinking water distribution in the Candrasa complex, support their quality of life during their education, training, and foster care, and help maintain their health and safety. This study also underscores the importance of efficient and sustainable water management in the military environment.

Reliable and sustainable lighting is crucial for supporting practical activities in a military educational environment, particularly in the Engineering Laboratory Workshop (Labtek) of the Naval Academy. The main problem faced is complete dependence on electricity supply from PLN, which is prone to disruptions and outages, thus impacting the safety and effectiveness of technical activities. Therefore, this research aims to design a solar-powered emergency lighting system as an environmentally friendly and efficient alternative lighting solution. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a case study approach at the Naval Technology Laboratory (Labtek) of the Naval Academy (AAL). The stages include power requirement analysis, direct observation of building and lighting conditions, selection of solar energy system components, and calculation of solar panel and battery capacity. Based on the analysis results, the total emergency power requirement of 1.96 kW can be met using 100 Wp monocrystalline solar panels and 12V 100Ah batteries for energy storage.The system design consists of solar panels, a solar charge controller, batteries, and LED lights that automatically turn on when the power goes out. Simulation results show that the system is capable of providing emergency lighting for 6–10 hours, depending on sunlight intensity and battery capacity. The implementation of this system not only improves the reliability of Labtek facilities but also supports nat ional clean energy policies and long-term operational cost efficiency.

The Indonesian Naval Academy (AAL) as a military educational institution requires a large electricity supply to support its operational activities, including in the Sapudi Building of the Engineering Department. This study aims to design a solar energy system to supply the electricity needs for lighting in the building. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data collection was conducted through direct observation of building conditions, electrical equipment, and solar radiation intensity data in Surabaya. The research results show that the total electricity requirement for lighting in the Sapudi Building is 4.686 kW with a total of 143 lights (96 neon lights and 47 light bulbs). Based on calculations with an average solar radiation of 5.00 kWh/m²/day, the designed system requires 41 units of Solar PV Lesso HPM 550W panel type with 21.3% efficiency and 9 units of Panasonic LC-P12100NA batteries with a capacity of 100Ah arranged in 3 series and 3 parallel configurations. This study proves that the utilization of solar energy can be an efficient and sustainable alternative solution to reduce dependence on conventional electricity in the AAL environment, while supporting the implementation of renewable energy in Indonesian military institutions.

The Indonesian Naval Academy (AAL) is a military educational institution responsible for training young officers for the Indonesian Navy. The learning process at AAL is structured thru classroom theory, field practice, and direct simulations, including using the Engine Room Simulator (ERS) located under the Department of Engineering. The ERS is an important facility for supporting the technical mastery of ship engines for cadets. The operation of this simulator is highly dependent on the supply of electrical energy, with a total electrical power requirement of 14.36 kW. Thru this research, the author aims to design a hybrid solar energy system that can combine electrical energy from the PLN grid with alternative energy from sunlight. The potential for solar energy in the Indonesian Navy Academy area is very large. The average sunlight intensity in the Surabaya area over 1 year per hour is 208.33 W/m2. Therefore, in the design study, the author chose the Solar PV Lesso HPM series 550W solar panel, which has a power of 550W, an efficiency of 21.3%, and an area per panel of 2.583 m2. Based on the calculations obtained, the author used 126 solar panels with an area of 323.64 m2, as well as 24 Panasonic LC-P12100NA batteries with a voltage of 12 V and a capacity of 100 Ah, installed in 3 series and 8 parallel circuits.

Indonesia's dependence on fossil energy, which reaches 98%, results in high CO₂ emissions and energy costs. This study aims to design a wind energy system to meet electricity needs at the Arafuru Field of the Indonesian Navy Academy (AAL), which is strategically located near the coast with adequate wind potential. A quantitative research method was used by collecting wind speed data for three months (January-March 2025) at coordinates 7.21755° S, 112.71022° E. The data shows an average wind speed of 2.32 m/s with unpredictable direction. Based on the analysis, the SH-X 10000 vertical wind turbine was selected as the most suitable solution. Calculation results show that one turbine unit can generate power of 104,999 watts, so to meet the total power requirement of 109,120 watts, at least 2 wind turbine units are needed. This system not only reduces dependence on PLN and fossil energy but also has the potential to reduce CO₂ emissions and can be utilized as a learning laboratory for AAL cadets. The implementation of wind energy at AAL's Arafuru Field is expected to be a concrete step in the transition towards renewable energy in the military environment.

This study aims to analyze the transformation of the educational pattern at the Indonesian Naval Academy (AAL) from a four-year to a three-year system and its impact on graduate competencies and operational readiness. This educational system change responds to budget efficiency needs and accelerated officer formation filling, yet raises questions about the new system's ability to maintain the quality of officer education. The research employs a mixed methods approach with a concurrent embedded design, involving 250 respondents comprising graduates from both educational systems, AAL instructors, and unit commanders receiving graduates. Quantitative data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics (independent sample t-test and regression), while qualitative data were obtained through in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies analyzed using thematic analysis. Results indicate no significant difference in overall Grade Point Average (GPA) between the two groups (p=0.470), but significant differences in competency patterns emerged: four-year system graduates excelled in theoretical competencies (p=0.001), while three-year system graduates excelled in practical competencies (p=0.003). Operational readiness evaluation shows that four-year system graduates obtained higher scores (82.5) compared to three-year system graduates (78.3), with significant differences (p=0.012), particularly in strategic leadership and complex decision-making aspects. Qualitative analysis identified five major themes: high learning time pressure, orientation shift from comprehensive to pragmatic, gaps in character formation and corps values, concerns about theoretical understanding depth, and need for more intensive post-graduation mentoring programs. This study concludes that educational time compression successfully increased operational efficiency but involved trade-offs in learning depth and professional maturity. To optimize the three-year educational system, a comprehensive approach is required, including curriculum revision with integrated learning methods, utilization of modern learning technology, strengthening of leadership development programs, and development of continuous professional mentoring systems. The recommendations of this research are expected to provide input for AAL and the Indonesian Navy in refining the officer education system to produce officers who are not only technically competent but also mature in leadership and strong in character.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan merumuskan standarisasi penggunaan bahan bakar pada kendaraan dinas di Akademi Angkatan Laut (AAL) berdasarkan ketersediaan yang ada. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis deskriptif, menggunakan data primer dari observasi langsung dan data sekunder dari dokumentasi penggunaan bahan bakar kendaraan dinas selama periode 2023 sampai akhir 2024 serta data jumlah jenis tipe kendaraan dan jenis bahan bakar yang tersedia di SPBT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 13 jenis tipe kendaraan dinas di AAL, 9 jenis tipe kendaraan menggunakan bahan bakar yang tersedia di SPBT sesuai dengan standarisasi yang di rekomendasikan. Terdapat 2 jenis tipe kendaraan yang belum menggunakan bahan bakar sesuai standarisasi yang telah direkomendasikan yaitu Toyota Camri 3.5 L tahun 2021 dan Toyota Fortuner 2.8 tahun 2023. Untuk itu disarankan pada saat pengadaaan kendaraan dinas disesuaikan dengan ketersediaan bahan bakar di SPBT atau pengadaan bahan bakar disesuaikan dengan kondisi kendaraan dinas yang ada di AAL.

Goods distribution applications have become key in facilitating goods data management. This study explores goods distribution applications, focusing on their development, implementation, and impacts with the aim of improving the effectiveness of procurement planning and the distribution process of kaporlap. This study discusses an online database system that is integrated with the system to facilitate the distribution of kaporlap for the Indonesian Navy Academy Cadets by implementing technology. The application of advanced technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), and goods distribution applications provide valuable insights to the Indonesian Navy Academy to improve the kaporlap data recording system and optimize the distribution process. The emphasis on data security is also important in ensuring integrity in providing accurate data for the benefit of implementing procurement planning and distribution of kaporlap in the Indonesian Navy Academy environment according to technological developments. The use of technology in goods distribution applications is a foundation for increasing knowledge and ease in carrying out activities, especially the distribution of kaporlap. Case studies and practical implementation provide a deeper understanding of the importance of this application to be realized and used by the Indonesian Navy Academy Cadets in the form of an online database system application equipped with QR Code and smartcard features that can be used without having to use a gadget. Thus, accurate kaporlap data can be obtained to support the planning of procurement and distribution of cadet kaporlap to be practical and more effective.

The professionalism of civil servants (PNS) is a requirement that must be achieved by an employee to demonstrate their abilities, potential, and desires positively, which will ultimately affect the performance of personnel and organizations, in this case, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), including in the environment of the Indonesian Navy Academy (AAL). The participation of civil servants in the AAL environment, hereafter referred to as AAL civil servants, greatly aids the implementation of the main duties and functions of AAL as an educational institution within the Indonesian Navy that has a specific function of educating the youth of Indonesia to become officers of the Indonesian Navy through academic-level education. Since human resources play an essential role, the researcher conducts a study to determine the extent to which job placement, education, and training influence civil servants at the Indonesian Navy Academy. The independent variables used are job placement, education, and training, while the dependent variable is the performance of civil servants.  The research analysis used multiple linear regression analysis with hypothesis testing using t-test (partial) and F-test (simultaneous). The population of the study consisted of 225 individuals with a sample of 144 people using explanatory research methods. The results showed that (1) Performance, job placement, education, and training of Civil Servants at the Naval Academy are categorized as fairly good, as evidenced by the performance assessment of members by their superiors. (2) Job placement, education, and training simultaneously have a significant effect on the performance of Civil Servants at the Naval Academy by 39.0%, with the remaining 61.0% influenced by other variables besides job placement, education, and training. (3) Job placement, education, and training partially have a significant effect on the performance of Civil Servants at the Naval Academy. Job placement has a significant partial effect of 29.8% on the performance of Civil Servants at the Naval Academy. Education and training partially have a significant influence of 28.0% on the performance of Civil Servants at the Navy TNI Academy.

As the Institute of Vocational Education, the Naval Academy has the task of forming a cadets became officer Tanggap, Tanggon and Trengginas. Moreover, AAL also formed Cadets become professional officers so as to face the task - the task in the field assignment. To support these tasks then conducted education and training of the cadets were held for 4 years with details of one year in Magelang Military Academy and three years in the AAL. Hopefully, with four years of education and training, cadets already have the provision of sufficient knowlegdes and skills, so as to become a professional officer who is ready to face a variety of terrain assignment. However, at this time cadets after being elected Lieutenant indirect positions and duties in his unit but had to get additional knowledge and skills through the course of several months of junior officers.According this background, the author examines the extent to which the influence of education and training to the formation of a professional cadets AAL towards World Class Naval Academy. Researchers will carry out research at the Naval Academy in Surabaya. As the subject of this research is the teachers who taught at the Naval Academy. The method used is quantitative method with data collection by distributing a questionnaire / questionnaire of 115 respondents and literature. Collected data is processed, beginning with testing the validity of data that includes test validity and reliability of research instrument, normality test and data analysis consisted of descriptive analysis indicator variables of the study, analysis of the description of the indicator variables of the study, the coefficient of multiple determination (R square) and hypothesis testing. The test results hypothesis states that the value of F count larger than F table (41.393> 3.93), while the significance value obtained was 0,000 that is smaller than the value of the degrees of freedom (0.000 <0.05). Based on the above test the hypothesis can be accepted, it means that independent variables consisted of Education (X1) and exercise (X2) simultaneously significant effect on Professionalism (Y) Cadets Naval Academy. From the analysis of quantitative data will be concluded that the results of research. In conclusion, the researchers delivered a number of recommendations in order to establish the Naval Academy to become a World Class Naval Academy.

This study aims to analyze the impact of recruiting Vocational High School (SMK) Mechanical Engineering graduates on the quality of education at the Naval Academy (AAL) Technical Corps. Using a mixed methods approach with quasi-experimental design, the research involved 160 Naval Academy cadets consisting of 80 cadets with SMK Mechanical Engineering background and 80 cadets with Senior High School Science background as control. Data were collected over 4 semesters through academic achievement instruments, technical competency tests, academic adaptation scales, and in-depth interviews. Results showed that although SMK cadets experienced initial academic adaptation challenges with lower GPA in the first semester (3.12 vs 3.28), this gap narrowed over time and even showed positive trends in the final semester (3.41 vs 3.38). SMK cadets demonstrated significant superiority in technical subjects such as Ship Propulsion Systems (85.2 vs 78.9) and Auxiliary Machinery (83.7 vs 76.4), particularly in practical components. In terms of social adaptation, the SMK group consistently showed higher scores throughout the research period. Learning style analysis revealed dominance of kinesthetic (47%) and visual (31%) preferences in the SMK group, different from the SHS group which preferred read/write (38%) and auditory (29%). These findings indicate that recruiting SMK Mechanical Engineering graduates has a positive impact on the quality of AAL education, particularly in applied technical competencies and social adaptation abilities. Educational background diversity can become a strategic strength if managed through appropriate bridging programs and diversification of learning methods that accommodate the diversity of cadet learning styles.

This research aims to analyze optimal educational strategies for cadets of the Indonesian Navy Academy's Technical Corps Generation Z, considering their unique learning characteristics without compromising military values. Using a mixed-method approach with a sequential explanatory design, the research involved 180 cadets as quantitative respondents and 26 participants for the qualitative phase (15 cadets, 8 instructors, 3 AAL leaders). Data were collected through structured questionnaires, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and participatory observations. Quantitative analysis used descriptive statistics, comparative tests, and multiple regression, while qualitative data were analyzed thematically. The results show that Generation Z cadets have a preference for visual learning (68%), interactive technology-based learning (M=4.1), and require instant feedback. Blended learning proved to be the most effective with an GPA of 3.45 and an engagement rate of 85%, compared to traditional learning (GPA=3.18, engagement=61%). Predictor factors of learning effectiveness include interactivity (β=0.412), technology use (β=0.298), periodic feedback (β=0.267), and content relevance (β=0.231). The research produced the "ADAPTIVE" learning model, which integrates modern technology with traditional military values. This model can enhance educational effectiveness while maintaining the essence of military training, providing both theoretical and practical contributions to the transformation of military education in the digital era.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pelayanan kendaraan pada Satuan Angkutan Akademi Angkatan Laut (AAL) serta merumuskan strategi peningkatan pelayanan kendaraan guna mengoptimalkan tugas pokok organisasi. Dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT, penelitian ini mengevaluasi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman yang ada dalam pengelolaan kendaraan dinas di AAL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya permasalahan seperti kekurangan personel terutama pengemudi, jumlah kendaraan yang terbatas karena ada beberapa kendaraan yang rusak ringan atau rusak berat, dan fasilitas lahan parkir kendaraan atau garasi serta fasilitas pemeliharaan dan perbaikan kendaraan kurang memadai. Dari analisis menggunakan SWOT, maka diperoleh kesimpulan yang meliputi: (a) Melakukan penambahan personel pengemudi dengan cara rekrutmen TNI AL dari lulusan SMK (b) Mengadakan penambahan jumlah armada kendaraan serta kenjasama dengan industri otomotif (c) Melakukan penambahan fasilitas garasi atau parkir kendaraan serta bengkel pemeliharaan dan perbaikan kendaraan berdasarkan dukungan kebijakan pengadaan aset kendaraan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan rekomendasi bagi manajemen AAL untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kendaraan, sehingga mendukung efektivitas pelaksanaan tugas pokok AAL.

Kepala Departemen Ilmu Pengetahuan dan Teknologi (Kadepiptek) Akademi Angkatan Laut (AAL), Kolonel Marinir Kakung Priyambodo, memprakarsai inisiatif pengelolaan sampah di lingkungan Kesatrian AAL untuk diolah menjadi kompos. Langkah ini bertujuan mengurangi volume sampah, mendaur ulang nutrisi untuk kesuburan tanah, menghemat sumber daya alam, dan menyediakan solusi berkelanjutan. Program ini sejalan dengan upaya membangun kesadaran lingkungan di kalangan generasi muda.
